"Not much of a difference to those that didn't know what it was like without Pendragon in full control," he explained. He had been there during the breaking away, but he was sure that there were most Damaskian people that gave the same cultist worship to the man. "I appreciate what the man did for us, but I'm not gonna worship the guy," he explained. "Maybe they sensed that."
Several cult members were visible under the barrier as they looked like they were panicked. Several were on a ritual circle, as though they were trying to summon something. He shook his head as he drew out a new gun from his warper and aimed the rifle at the barrier. "Yan, I don't worship anyone, or anything. If that makes sense."

“It’s a tedious process,” Yan offered thoughtfully. “I’ve yet to find something so worth my attention...Well, there were a couple times I was magically brain washed...It is very freeing. Can’t say I don’t see some appeal.”

"There's a difference between the two, and I can see how much it's freeing to not think for yourself." He smiled a bit. "But thinkin' for myself is very useful." This time he slipped the phone away before he fired the rifle after a bit of a charge. The barrier broke down as the Damaskian set the rifle back into place as he started to take shots at the cult members, with a silencer that was attached. "I don't think we'll need to clean up the bodies," he grunted. "We can leave them as a message. Not that the most fanatical will care."

“It’s not a good message,” Yan said with a frown. “They’ll just be made into martyrs. It’s better to hide the bodies and make it seem like they left the faith.”

"Is that how these guys think?" Lucas blinked before he paused and tilted his head. "You'd think a bunch of dead morons would give ya a warning." He shrugged before he started firing again. "What about that circle? Do we leave it up, or what do you wanna do with that thing?" The Damaskian waited for the answer as he continued to fire on the cultists.

"Yeah, they're already fanatical. They know they're putting their lives at risk. Just seeing people dead for their cause fuels the fire," he explained. "It's actually better to bring some in alive and recondition them into the Damaskian doctrine." Cults weren't exactly his expertise, but he did know a good deal about how to manipulate someone, and that was a huge part of the cult collective.
"Like I said," Yan added to the man's question, letting out a dramatic sigh. "More work."

The man stopped firing then, as there was at least a few still alive. One of the summoners and one of the others that had been running around. "So, those two work for you?" He asked as he set the energy weapon aside. The rifle vanished as the warper took it back to the stash and he waved his hand a bit dramatically. "Work like this ain't too complex on my end. I'm sure its a way bigger headache for ya, though."
He pushed himself up and then tilted his head. He had pocketed the area where he blasted through some of them and wondered about it. "Ya got anyone near here that could take over though? I still wanna catch up over a drink, not doing paperwork."

Yan walked through the mess, stepping over bodies and avoiding larger puddles of blood for his nice shoes. He knocked the few conscious ones out, even if they could no longer move much, and zapped a few wounds closed. That would do though. At Lucas' words, Yan looked up as if the sky would tell him, though in reality it was a further cue for Juturna. She answered him and he nodded.
"We should probably wait until they arrive though," he said, starting back towards him as his hands tucked into his pockets. He stopped short of him and gave him a warmer happier smile. "Nice to see you though."
