He had seen the ferocious assault from his opponent when backed into the wall. It gave Syric an idea. He was also hurting, his body riddled with pain and damage, but was he really up against that wall like his opponent was? The Celestial didn’t know for sure right now. What he did know was that maybe he could tap into similar powers if he got close enough to that level to need to. He did know he had plenty of gifts and talents and was trained before on surviving when near death, but he had never had to utilize it before this fight. Was this going to be a first for him?
His mind thinking about all of this wasn’t a good idea as he watched his opponent summon up even more power. It was certainly a threat to him that his opponent still had reserves to tap into like this. Syric was angered by this, but more upset by the ball of fire that just was tossed at his chest. He felt an urge to block or defend it, but the field of energy around him, was one he believed would protect him. Well from the damage it likely did to some extent, but the fire lit him on fire. He was going to wake up from all of this toasted to a golden brown…
”I’M ON FIRE!” He yelled, almost like a musician singing a song he heard while he was on Earth a while ago.
He summoned forth the chills of his own soul, hoping it would help him, but clearly it didn’t. Instead, he chucked a spear of ice at the Racoon hoping it would return the favor and hurt him back. Maybe even trap him in the cold once again. Wanting to put the flames out, but still keep the aggression on he charged forward, hoping the flames would fade even if his flesh was burnt now.
”I liked my chest unburnt thank you very much. Now I have to add a stage to my finishing combination. You do keep rudely interrupting the glory of the attack sequence after all!”
The fire subsided, but the burn still hurt. The daggers he held in a way to show what was coming. He had done this over and over again, and the well seemed to still have some potential in it. If the Android was struggling as he appeared to be, then maybe he could let the daggers drain him dry.
It was a relentless flurry that followed. Eight total stabs, back and forth between the right hand and the left hand, stabbing into whatever fleshy parts of the android he could still hit in order to inflict as much damage as he could. The last two strikes; however, moved more towards he face, looking to slice any resemblance of racoon from this being with his last couple of strikes and reveal his true android self so that the Celestial maybe could find an off switch. That would certainly be nice to have right now!
