Cauli: N/A
Resting within a ship on its way to Earth, an injured human was was slumbering with in a rejuvenation tank. With his body abjectly deep in convalescence the man takes to the Astral realm to occupy himself.
The man emerged in the realm in an uninjured form. He donned red and white robes appearing standing 5'9 in stature with looking to be in his forties with brown hair. The man looked around for another presence before materializing a book and reading it while he waited for another to enter the realm.
Cauli was sitting at her desk waiting for the latest batch of tests to run, daydreaming of times past. As she stared into space, her thoughts drifted unconsciously to the globe on her desk and she found herself floating through space.
The space quickly filled and took the form of the basement of the library she had just left. There was just one other occupant of the space, a middled aged man who was apparently here to read.
"Uhh... hello?"
The man's eyes widened in surprise when he felt the woman's energy she felt, saiyan but also felt demonic, her aura seemed motley to describe it. He looked over his shoulder and turned to Cauli. "Hello, my name is Magus. Who are you miss?"
"Cauli," she responded, "did you come here just to read a book?"
"Not necessarily, its just a way to pass the time until something else caught my interest." He closed the book and placed it back in the self. "What brings you here?"
"I discovered an artifact recently that grants entrance to this realm. It is attuned to my thoughts and has a tendency to send me here when I start daydreaming. I find the whole thing fascinating. Where is your mortal body at present?"
"Ah, I see. That's how it is for people who recently acquire a gem of telepathy, there are many wonders that can be discovered in the Astral plain as well as interesting individuals such as yourself. Right now my mortal body is resting in my quarters."
"Oh no," responded Cauli, "this is no gem. It is a crystal ball that allows me so see and communicate with other realms, though it appears that this is the only place that I can project my consciousness to."
"Ah, it must be quite the artifact indeed. This is the only that you can project your consciousness to? I presume you're a scholar. You may be able to project your conscious to other locations in time as you gain more experience or your you exclusively coming to this place maybe be alluding to something deeper than."
"That I'm aware of," she responded, bit willing to mention the time she astral projected back through time to change her own fate and separate her future self from Kale.
"I am a scholar, specializing in the theory of alternate universes."
"Interesting, are you yourself from another universe? Universe six perhaps?
"In a manner of speaking. My universe six is not the same as yours. Mine was erased after the winner of a universe tournament made a selfish wish."
"Ah that's unfortunate. Xeno can be quite unforgiving when it comes to lapses he finds egregious. How did you escape the fate of your universe?"
"It turns out, when you die between universes there is a step between dying and the check-in station. I hadn't completed that step when the universe was erased so I was stuck there. I'm not sure even Xeno was aware of what had happened."
