His mind traveled through the endless void of space and time. Heeding to no mere mortal that desired to form a connection- yet there was one that intrigued the humble Prince. A power that was familiar, different, and yet mysterious. A power that he never felt before, yet at the same time he could swear there was something uniquely familiar about it. In the realm of possibilities it was more than plausible that the ki signature was that of a Saiyan, which only furthered peaked the interest of Prince Vegeta. In that moment he made his decision, all the connection between the mentality of he and the other for a meeting of two great warriors. One that may end in violence or one that develop into a kinship. Only time would tell. The emptiness began to collapse around him, creating images that solidified and manifested into actual reality as the scene around Vegeta began to rapidly expand. Constructing a room from memory was an easy feat, but still... The room was nearly perfect to what he remembered. Vegeta's ego was known throughout the galaxy, so it was no surprise that the room he formed was one that was based off his own image. It was the throne room of his home world, Planet Vegeta. Stained glass windows towered high into the ceiling just behind the throne itself. Embedded deep into the top of the throne was the ancient crest of the Saiyan Empire, one that also appeared on his breastplate just above his heart. Vegeta had found himself in the seat of the throne itself, which was neatly placed on a platform slightly higher than the carpeted pathway leading to it. Apart from the rather simple design of the room, there was nothing else noteworthy. All that was left to do was wait for the individual to appear before him- the Prince of All Saiyans. 315 / 315

Time to Check In
The lone wolf from the future had only been in this realm for a few days, and already noteworthy beings seemed to seek him out. Gohan could feel his mind being prodded about, as if someone were wanting a little mental stimulation of sorts. If this plane was anything like the future, then it meant that even in this time- more beings had mastered the realm of the Astrals than in his verse had. It was bemusing to say the least that so many things from the past had never made it into the future. Perhaps that is where the people of his era had messed it all up. Not remembering the past can sometimes be more hurtful than not, or so that is what the scarred warrior concluded as he took to a meditative position in his new home.
As the warrior's mind took to the beacon that called to him, Gohan's apparition finally arrived. Just before him were giant-like doors and within the room on the other side...he could feel it. Saiyan energy. An energy he had not felt in a very long while, and it was refreshing to say the least. The familiarity of it was only reinforced as the doors opened and he stepped through toward the familiar presence. Prince Vegeta. His candor was as he remembered, elegantly sitting upon the chair in a fashion no one else seemed to repute. Gohan gave a bit of a smirk as he made his way toward the Saiyan Prince and stopped just before the throne.
Gohan removed the ivory hood of his cloak from his brow, letting his golden locks and emerald orbs be shone upon by the latent light that quelled within the structure. The lone wolf gave a slight bow to the man before him, keeping his power to a mere human's so as to not entice the royal warrior before him. It had been some time since he last had words with him, he had wondered...just how much alike were the man before him and the one he had come to know in his own paradox.
"It seems the years have been better to you in this realm than the one I hale from, Prince Vegeta. I am not sure if I look familiar to you or not...or if my younger version of myself is in this verse or not. In any case, I am Gohan. Just from a future timeline that no longer needed my talents. I am sure you have some questions, and I would be glad to answer any and all questions you might have".
Gohan let his words resonate with the man while he stood neither threateningly or too sublime-like. After all, this was the Prince of the Saiyan race in this world and if Vegeta would grant him his title and position once more he didn't want to burn too many bridges or be too disrespectful. While he waited, the lone wolf imagined a table off to the left of him and on it he fabricated the trinkets left to him from Jordan. As well as a digital hologram of the man, and his own student (Sarada), who seemingly plucked him from his timeline. He knew it would be a lot to take in, but Jordan was an Elite in the Saiyan Empire and figured this might help his explanation that was to assuredly come. The warrior nodded to the Prince toward the table on his right acknowledging the bewildered look upon his face.

" Kakarot's brat," Vegeta said after the brief introduction from the hooded man. Allowing his eyes to fall over the other worldly Saiyan the Prince began to notice slight differences. First there was the size of Gohan, much larger than intelligence had gathered in terms of Kakarot's family. The build was much more defined and Gohan's body clearly showed signs of past battles with scars that spanned across his face. The next noticeable difference was Gohan's hair, the dull shade of blond that showed plain as day his mastery over the Super Saiyan form- many called this state 'elevated.' Finally, in order to completely confirm the rest of Vegeta's suspicions, there was his eyes. Green as emeralds and the signature iris of the Super Saiyan. " I have heard of you, although we have never met." Vegeta stood from the throne, his arms at a relaxed state as he leisurely strolled down the steps to the manifested table. The Prince of Saiyans had many questions for the man that had seemed to latch onto his mind, primarily he wanted to know what Gohan was here. It wasn't unheard of for adventurers from distant timelines to return to the present in order to stop some major event from unfolding. That being said, was this 'Future' Gohan here for the same reason? On top of that question Vegeta desired to know just why he was being so formal. " It seems that you know of our mannerisms and customs," he said with confidence. " I suppose that your timeline is not much different from our own." The Prince paused as he approached his side of the table, running his hand over the fabric and appreciating the finely woven material. Upon closer inspection a hologram appeared, one that held the likeness of an infamous Saiyan- Jordan. " Look who it is," he said with glee. " The great failure of the Saiyan race." Vegeta's brows furled down in anger as he lifted his nose slightly toward the pure sight of Jordan. " That man is a failure, elite or not. But I think you properly know that- maybe you are here to seek retribution on his behalf?" Without waiting for an answer Vegeta lifted a single finger, issuing a 'one moment' command to a man not even under his control. " I do have some questions so we will get to that failure in a moment." He clarified, taking charge of the conversation and subject much like his father had taught him to do. " I would like to know more about you, why are you hear, what do you know of me?" Vegeta asked eager to hear the answers. With a wave of his hand two chairs appeared on both sides of the table, Vegeta was the first to sit and his hand extended out moments before he spoke. " Please have a seat, we have much to discuss." He said as he allowed himself to sit on equal level with Gohan. 490 / 805

Bygones be BygonesThe lone wolf watched the short-statured prince make his way, and rebut to his previous statement, toward him and the table with the trinkets and slowly spinning hologram of the being that brought him out of his timeline and into this verse. It was apparent that some of the things, if not all, of what the rogue elite (known as Jordan) had divulged in their limited time together were true or not. Gohan had nodded to the subtleties of the formalities that had been exchanged and observations being made before his eyes.
Retribution...not entirely accurate, but no point in interjecting the young prince. The young warrior thought as Vegeta continued on in a manner only fitting of a Saiyan prince- a few questions poised, and a seat offered. Gohan nodded and took the seat, letting his hand reach out and grab a chalice filled with red wine. The crimson liquid swirled as the lone wolf let it breathe, stoic and unchanging his neutral look- he sighed and then sipped on the liquid, letting out a pleasant sound of approval as it crawled to the back of his throat and into his astral-forms belly.
"My present condition...well, I was brought here in a rather interesting display of luck and power and intelligence. At least that is the conclusion I have come to presently be under from the warrior you so callously acknowledged just moments ago. I haven't had the necessary time to read all of his exploits but he simply had a request to help keep the beams of justice balanced. To help our race reach it's peak both physically and mentally speaking".
Gohan took another sip of the wine and continued, "as for what was said of you. Very little, as he had put it- we didn't have a whole lot of time. He had manipulated a certain skill of his and some semblance of a spell or something another to even pull me from my timeline. My main purpose is to eradicate the being I just dispelled from my own verse to ensure he doesn't wreck havoc in this realm, then from that- whatever might come up, I would be open to discuss".
Again, the lone wolf, reached for his glass of wine- and took a long sip so as to let the Prince digest what he had just divulged. Looking upon him with just a faint smile and making a "cheers-like" gesture with his glass to the warrior prince. It had been too long since he had interactions with anyone, and he tried to not be too curt or let on too much about his loneliness - it wasn't very Saiyan-like. That, obviously, was not something this prince seemed to like. Human emotion, after all, was much apart of Gohan as any other human. It just simply wasn't something most of his ancestry ever looked favorably upon in his time with the empire in his own timeline. Even though he had made it through the ranks- that was mostly due to his unlimimted potential and showcasing of power. That, was always respected. No matter the timeline, so it seemed.

Vegeta lead the motions, no rather he followed the motions of the Lone Wolf. His right hand reached out to the side, gingerly grasping the crystal chalice that had been conveniently placed for he and Gohan. While a crimson and sweet scent lingered into his nose the Prince could only smile in amusement. Maybe it was by pure coincidence but the scent of the wine was akin to the wine that his father often had during royal gatherings and banquets. Perhaps it was because in the astral realm things happened according to inner thought, so it was possible the Prince of Saiyans had subconsciously thought of his father's wine- being the single wine he had ever tasted in his life. The Prince wasn't against drinking, but his desire to obtain power often times outweighed his desire to pursue standard Saiyan desires. Pass times like partying, drugs, women, or even family was most often placed on the "back burner" compared to his training. Lifting his chalice in a manner that his father would, Vegeta lifted the container until it was inches from his nose. He gave it a twirl, aerating the alcohol properly and allowing the scent to speak for itself. Sweet was the first word that came to mind, but it was more than that. It was almost nutty, sprinkled in with honey and other natural sweeteners that were rare on Planet Vegeta. Gohan began speaking, answering questions in a manner that allowed him to tip toe around a real answer, yet just barely giving enough information to please the Prince. It was clearly a political move, one that Vegeta had used himself many times before. However there wasn't anything that he could do or obtain from pushing the subject, so like the great negotiator he was taught to be, he waited. Slowly Gohan began to spew out the information of his own volition. Past, present, future, none of it really matter, only one detail spoke to Vegeta in all honesty. It was about Jordan more surprising that not. The fool had managed to obtain a power to legitimately pluck an individual from a timeline and place them into their own. How was that possible? Jordan, the man who struggled and barely was of use in the disgracing battle at which his father suffered his first loss. Jordan, the man who was considered a rogue by common standards. Jordan, the man who even after the Empire turned their back on him, he still managed to bring someone in that was meant to benefit the Saiyan Empire. What was the man playing at? Was this true? After all it was no question of Jordan's loyalties, he was a die hard patriot through and through, so what was the edge? Vegeta was more than just slightly curious, he was completely involved at this point. " Gohan?" Vegeta said ensuring that was the name the man wished to be addressed as. " I would like you to tell me more, would you mind continuing your tale?" Vegeta said as he slouched slightly in his chair to show just how informal this was meant to be. It was a conversation between two Saiyans, so at the very least Vegeta could place his ego and stature to the side for just this one moment. 547 / 1352
