Mona willed for time to stop again but she felt a physical block on her ability as if there was some arbitrary limit as to how many times she could freeze time in any given day. She tried to push past the block but it was pointless to have hope. How could things have gone so wrong? All she’d been doing was enjoying her day and then in the span of a few minutes she’d been drained of all her ki and attacks strong enough to destroy planets were being thrown around like it was normal. What was the universe coming to, really? Had people gotten too strong to even justify living in it?

There wasn’t any justice that was for sure. Some bitches had come here with the intention of slaughtering people. Mona supposed it was the lawful good thing to do in this part of the universe. All Mona saw was a flash of light after her master’s master plan had been executed. She’d curled into a defensive ball but then all of a sudden everything was black. Was she knocked out? Dead? Who was to say? Maybe some other worldly force would judge whether she was alive or dead.

Between his injuries and all the energy he was expending throughout the fight, counting on an intensive but heavy-duty technique such as the x10 Kamehameha to end was a gamble. Still, Joseph was confident that the power of the nigh-inexorable beam along with Mona getting the enemy into a position would do well to take the powerful and strategic adversary in their midst out of the battle. However, Mazikeen wanting to take all the pain for her pleasure, clung to her while he had been preparing the beam.

This surprised him, though he would have been just as content to take the dark-haired demon who had started this and who had kept him from bringing this fight to an end earlier. He released the beam that struck Mazikeen’s back before telekinetically bringing in rocks to protect her sister but still leaving her back exposed. However, that didn’t surprise him. He was aware that there were people who liked pain, but he wondered if anyone else in the universe could take their masochism this far, though among those he could think of, that creepy Android woman he had fought twice before came to mind.

To his dismay, Mazikeen managed to endure the x10 Kamehameha, and not only that, met Mona’s blast with an even more overwhelming blast of her own. When the blast erupted, he couldn’t see Mona behind the overwhelmingly bright light. “Mona,” he said before he caught Morrigan breaking away from her sister's embrace. He watched as the elder sister changed to her look, forming a skull-like mask and her Super Saiyan aesthetic shifting to a more eerie look.

“Die” she uttered before she outstretched her hands towards the two fighters. The boy quickly put his arms in front of his head a body and curled up to protect himself from the incoming blast. The three bolts of energy exploded against him, tearing away what was left of his shirt and tearing his scarf from around his neck. The blasts burned every each of his people, making him feel as if he was standing in the middle of a wildfire, while their sheer force made him feel like a regular person being hit by a car with each blast exploding against him The skin burned off his forearms, leaving large patches of the burnt meat underneath. The final shot knocked him on his back, his chest was caved in, and each limb was heavily twisted in contortion from the abuse the Death Accord put him through. He lied on his back; each breath sounded like a laborious and pained whizz.

The Demi-Earthling lied prone on the ground, breathing heavily. Every inch of his being was hurting in his battered state, and it was rare for him to be brought to a state of such horrid injury. The last instance he recalled being brought to such a critical state was his second fight with Broly. The boy was wondering how he was even still alive after such an attack. He was charred up and down his body, every muscle throbbing, each limb feeling like they were crushed.

The brilliant gold slowly faded from his hair as he bangs lowered down, his emerald eyes shifting back to brown. He coughed, spitting up a gab of blood from his mouth. He hacked more as his throat fought to release more blood that found its way into it. Joseph wondered how it came to this, just relaxing during the evening after a day of classes before beings he didn’t even know attacking him from want of retribution for his dispassionate following orders, No good deed goes unpunished, they say.

Joseph looked around at the distorted image of his fuddled eyes. However, the state of his eyes made roving them to scan the area do little to service him. Mona’s energy felt harrowingly faint. The boy took that as a sign of his failure; I should have stopped it or gotten her away he thought to himself. They were both at the mercy of these two subordinates of Lilim, and he was at a loss of what could be done at this point.

The boy was harboring hope that he’d reach a new level of transformation to use against these enemies like he had done times before so he could make an elaborate come back. Another part of him hoped that someone like Anna or his father would swoop in to save him, but such a thing happening of such convenience seemed wishful even as he thought of it.

In all honesty, he was starting to lament his predicament. Despite all the power he gained and the training to use it, he always seemed to run into someone he couldn’t surmount, and in the current case, his life, as well as the life of someone who tried to protect him, was at stake. The Demi-Earthling clinched his fist, sparks of electricity erupted from his person. He rolled to the side, gritting his teeth as he pushed himself up.

He wasn’t going to give up, and he was going to keep fighting as long as his body would let him. The child’s aura turned yellow and flared around him. “Ahhhhhhhhh!” His hair turned back yellow and his eyes green, having reignited the power of Super Saiyan. The Demi-Earthling placed his wrist together, holding his fingers half curled. A large sphere of ki formed in front of his hand. The academy grounds quaked as the energy accumulated. He released a beam that rushed forward before curving into the air until it was lost in the clouds. A moment after a hailstorm of energy blast rained down upon the sisters, dozens of golfball-sized shots attempting to bombard the sisters before larger spheres riveling rhinos in volume followed to in a last-ditch effort to surmount Wakanda’s current opposition. That wasn’t the end of it. The moment after the final blast, he struck down. Joseph was upon them springing forward as he sent a punch to explode across Mazikeen’s jaw before his eyes shut, and his body went limp, and he fell forward.

Morrigan / Mazikeen

Mazikeen’s beam overtook the smaller crimson one and she felt every bit of the drain smash into her body like a freight train. Without Morrigan there to support her, she fell to her knees and her hands, once the beam had faded away, were on the ground. She breathed with intensity and a manic grin on her face. Did she accidentally erase her prey? When she looked up, she could see the wizard get engulfed in a seas of blasts before falling on the ground.

“Wizard can’t play anymore,” she asked before she looked up to see Morrigan kneeling on the ground herself. It seemed like her sister expensed a lot of energy herself with that. A sword conjured up and filled Mazikeen with energy and she was able to slowly stand, which she did. She dragged her body over to Morrigan and looked at the boy.

“So this is why the Infernal Dominion had a tough time with the boy. Maze is impressed.”

“Yea,” Morrigan stated as she stood up and felt a bit more refreshed. “But the damage is done. It would be best to end him so that he may no longer be a threat. I just --. We are in very political space right now.”

“Political Space?” Mazikeen looked over to Morrigan and that made the pseudo saiyan sigh. Morrigan had to remember that it would take just a bit more time before Mazikeen was back to being normal.

“It means that if we kill them, we are breaking the law. If this was on Cactaylisma or anywhere in the Olon System it would be fair game. But this is the Illumon system. Hell,” Morrigan started while looking around.

A lot of damage had been done, but not nearly enough as it should have been. A building or two and a small section of the wooded area near them had been destroyed, but for the most part the city was safe. “We probably should get out of here before they arrest us for property damage. Mazikeen, you said it yourself. You just wanted to teach him a lesson. If we were part of the Dominion at the time he would not have been so lucky.”

Maze grinned as if she remembered. “Yes! I remember saying that! I guess lesson taught! We can go now.”

“Hold on though,” Morrigan said before she teleported over to Mona. She slightly molested the woman’s body it seemed, but then took out 1 Mora… Mora? What the hell was this currency? Well, anyway, after that she teleported back to Joseph and reached down and swiped a zeni from his bag. “Souvenirs…”

“Okay!” Maze didn’t get it, or cared. She just wanted to go now that the pain was no longer coming…..

Or was it?

The boy rolled over and began to slowly push himself up, and that caught the attention of Morrigan who looked at him and started to blink in disbelief.

“What the hell. Did I hold back that much power? Fuck,” she stated as she jumped back and brandished her sword. “No you don’t.” She was going to flip it to the flat side so that she could knocked him out cold, but his sudden aura explosion pushed her and Mazikeen back. Her sword flipped out of her hand and her own transformation violently ripped away from her. “Shit!”

Mazikeen dug her own feet into the ground and she grinned wildly at this, unlike Morrigan who was worried. “More pain? Is he still up!? Yay! Maze is happy!!!” She opened her arms as Joseph shot the beam at them, and she wanted to have it all to herself. Mazikeen was positioned in-front of Morrigan, and so this beam would simply just harm her!!

More pain for the pain soaker!

But the beam curved up into the skies, and made both sisters look up.

“Shit. Shit. Shit!!! Mazikeen!!! Block that, do not take it!!” Morrigan curled up her arms while looking upward. Mazikeen looked over to Morrigan and tilted her head.

“But why would I do that? Maze wants pain!”

And the rain of blast engulfed the area around them. Maze’s body bounced around as the blast exploded and sent her on a wild ride. Unlike Maze, Morrigan was stationary and she clenched her teeth as the blasts around her ripped off pieces of her clothing and charred her skin.

After the rain of blasts, Mazikeen stood there with dark smoke rising from her body and a mumbling of both pain and satisfaction oozing from her mouth. “N-now that really really huuuuurt.”

And to top it off Joseph slammed his fist into her jaw and knocked her out cold, along with him. He probably fell right on top of her and she hit the ground matter of fact.

Morrigan slowly stood up and let out a cough from the debris around her. Once the debris settled there was a crew of Keliouxian Military Soldiers surrounding them…

Damn.

Well they were busted.
