The moon was bright, yet there were still pieces of it missing in the dark sky. A massive chunk of the moon still gave the Academy a decent glow though. This was the Waxing Gibbous, and it shone out of the pupils of the vampiric beauty. She was not too much of an odd sight at the Kelioux Academy. She wore a robe and she carried a book that was clutched in her hands. Demons were not uncommon and accepted in this society, and so there should not have been any oddities surroundings this woman.But there were. As she walked by a lake, everything would seem fine to others until they would take a glimpse down at the waters themselves. Some would casually do so, to avert away from her gaze and would take note of failing to view her reflection. When looking back up to her, and seeing she was indeed standing there it was quite a spooky chill that grabbed their spines.It was rare for a vampire to be here. Many scurried away from her, feeling a sudden pull of attraction to the dark-haired woman. Those many knew that the pull was only part of her own vampiric presence. Luckily for them, she had no interest in pulling them down a spiral of uncontrolled sensual tension. She had a target in mind already and her slow walk lead her to a dormitory. It was nighttime because Mazikeen dare not start an attack during the day. With a snap of her fingers, a visor etched into existence around her eyes and she locked in on Joseph Wiltshire’s level of energy. “Yes, quite powerful indeed. Even so, I should not burn too much energy before Morrigan arrives.”Her sister was late as usual, but this was the perfect chance to strike her target. “Let’s see. He is on that floor,” she said to herself before she sprung upward into the air with a swift jump. When she got to the level he would be on, probably playing a video game or something, she pointed her finger at the window and fired three quick and clean shots toward the young man before entering the room. She crashed through the breaking glass and it all hit the floor like tiny rain drops. Shards splashed all about the room. As she landed on her feet, one hand clutching a book and the other pointing a finger at him she said, “Hello brat.” That is when she changed her stature to a proper fighting stance. “You don’t mess with the Dominion and think you will get away with it.”Actions Notes: A1. After his classes and training under sages, Joseph had spent the latter part of the afternoon touring the campus alongside his chaperon. They passed the time doing some scheduled activities involving amenities of the Academy, such as the temple of the lost and the library. Sometime in the evening, after the tour was done for the day, Joseph and his chaperon returned to the dorm. The chaperon had business to take of and left the dorm, telling the boy to message him about where he was going if he left the dorm room.
The boy considered leaving to meditate within one of the temples again but decided to lounge in the dorm for a bit. He put away his cudgel in his room, while he kept his sensu bag fastened to his sash as his decided to stay in his fighting clothes and didn't think to unfasten it. He closed the living room curtain and sat down on the couch. The time proceeding was occupied by a quiet session of gaming on his switch. The sounds of construction, gunfire, and his controller's clicks made up most of the sound in the room. He thought about Cauli and Mona and wondered if they’d be interested in playing games if they weren't busy. He recalled Mona being interested in video games.
However, his thoughts of those prospects were drawn away by a sudden surge of energy followed by a swift barrage of blast hailing through his window. Joseph quickly turned his arm and blocked the initial blast with his shoulder before rolling off the couch, though he was not quite swift enough to evade the second blast that struck his side before he curled up akin to an armadillo to guard himself against the third and final shot.
Joseph looked towards the destroyed window to the sight of his assailant making her entrance. He quickly hurried to his feet and adjusted his posture, taking a leg back and raising his arms defensively. What she said about a dominion made him narrow his eyes as his surprised visage shifted to confusion. “What Dominion? Who are you anyway?”
After she would answer or choose not to, Joseph's aura flared as he bursted forward towards the mysterious attacker in a leap accompanied by a hook towards her stomach before jumping back to stay out of reach. He then curled one hand to make a vague circle shape in the space between his fingers and palm, while his open opposite hand pressed his palm against the side. A small blue fire emerged within the space and grew before a fiery blast shot at the vampiric woman with a flaming trail behind it. He had initially developed this technique as an armor-piercing attack to weaken Aria’s Panzer form, but the precise nature of the shot made for a good option of range attack within the building.
He then drew his arm across his torso before swiping to the side to cast a half dozen bolts of arrowhead-shaped ki blasts. I gotta get out of here and lead her away from the other students. Hoping the shots would keep her occupied for a crucial moment, Joseph rushed to his room and secured his cudgel, throwing the strap of its case over his shoulder. He then lowered down, placing his hands on the floor before his blue aura enveloped his person before he started to roll rapidly in stationary summersaults as the aura took the shape of a blue ball before blasting forward with a revving sound. He turned to the demonic woman with preternatural speed and threatened to run her over if she could not evade. If he managed to strike her this way, he’d push her out the window and slam her onto the concrete and continued to roll towards the lake before bouncing up and skipping three times over the surface of the water like a stone before making to the land, rolling a bit more before he got to his feet and broke off into a sprint.

Mona never would have assumed her captain would be in any danger. Any real danger given he was the strongest little being in the whole universe, as far as she knew. Yet there he was getting attacked my some sort of stranger. It just wouldn’t do. The mage from across the universe jumped from her ship and dove straight for the enemy assailant. As she fell she put her hands on her chest and let her magical energy envelop her. This was her first fight after having switched her blood with that of a saiyan’s. After getting her ass beat by Vegeta it was the only logical choice to make. The thought alone sparked anger in her which was exactly what she needed to activate what saiyans called super saiyan 2. Her hair glowed yellow for a moment and her physical appearance morphed into an avatar from her home planet. From a distance Mona might have seemed like a meteor as she drew a flaming sword from her breast. It was go time.  (but with golden hair) Mona’s attacks were to-the-point. Very fast, very strong. There was no room for fine maneuvering at such high speeds. She slashed at Joseph’s assailant ferociously more times as she could count each time speeding past her target, not giving much if any chance to counter attack. After Mona’s final slash she skidded to a stop and the fire died down. She wondered if she might have actually cut the woman in half since ever single one of her slashes had been aimed for her stomach. “To whom do I have the pleasure of fighting today?” she’d ask. Mazikeen did not waste one moment. She let out a sigh and placed her hand upon her head. “Of course you would be confused,” she stated with her eyes simmering to a close. With another huff of air, her bosom animated with a small jiggle, she went into an explanation, seeing she was given the time to answer. “I am a soldier from the Succubus Dominion that is ruled by the First Succubus -- Lilim. We have loyalties with the Fallen, and we were -- and probably still are-- your enemy.“I am just here for payback…. Since I am in the area.” Her eyes flashed open at the end of her statement and her movements were swifter than she could actually manage in normal circumstances. His hook met the air as she took a step back.“I wasn’t done talking yet, shit!” Her voice rose in anger, but more on a frustrating level. She unclutched her book, ready to cast a spell, but Joseph engulfed her with blue fire. Though the fire did burn, her affinity to the element warded away most of the pain and only left her with a scoff instead of a screech of pain. “Is that all you got?”Please be all he had. Mazikeen could tell by how the fire was able to even damage her in the first place, that the kid would be a problem to battle. The boy then cast something much better and far more dangerous; arrows of energy. Mazikeen’s book exploded into smoke in a disappearing act. With her hands free, she thrust them forward and created a thin protective barrier. She used it to deflect the arrows all over the dorm building.And because of that, the alarm went off. UNSANCTIONED BATTLE. PROVIDING KINETIC CANCELLING AND NOISE-CANCELING WITHIN A 4 MILE RADIUS. The robotic voice repeated this until the walls began to coat with a bubble-like film. This film would prevent any damages to the academy walls and when blasts hit them, or battler's bodies, the noise snuffed out. Kelioux Academy was prepared for this. When Mazikeen was done with the arrows she turned only to allow Joseph to meet her with his spin dash. While he was pushing her, Mazikeen’s body exploded with crackling, orange flames. They snipped and snapped at Joseph as he rolled his body into her. Once she hit the ground, Mazikeen let out a gasp of pain and then shuddered…In delight. She grinned and rose up from the ground and flicked blood away from the corner of her mouth. “Heh heh heh,” she let out once she was standing. The young boy had risen to a sprint and she was hard-pressed to chase him. She just knew that she would not get to him in time to provide a proper counterattack. But at least she knew that her sister had finally arrived -- and she was in hot pursuit of the new target.Good. Because now another was being here to disturb them. “I guess this makes it even.”Mazikeen stared at the woman who jumped in front of her. She watched as Mona sparked into an angry Super Saiyan blonde. Mazikeen responded easily with a raise of her finger and a conjuring of her book.“Spell of Defense,” said her booming voice. Mazikeen’s body had been swallowed by an emerald-tinted aura and right before her book poofed away from existence. ”I suppose playtime is officially over at this point.”As Mona dashed at her with an extremely fast and powerful slice, Mazikeen’s cuspids grew longer and her eyes shimmered into a crimson color. Her entire body buffed out with increased power and her aura exploded off of her body as the first slice was on her. The vampiric woman then spun around and she held her arms up into a simple yet effective block of the second slash, but the final one still hit one.“Yes, Yes, Yes!!” They were hurting her. The pain was coursing through her body and she hugged herself. “I didn’t think I was going to be feeling great during this battle. But you two actually are pretty strong. Thankfully, it is two of you. You are a Saiyan as well?”Mazikeen was asked who she was. That was pretty easy. “Mazikeen and,” she started to say before she unfurled her arms from the hugging position. Devastating power poured from both her hands. She fired six massive globs of purple energy at Mona and then six more towards the retreating Joseph.Ah, hell. Let’s add three more to each. She did, but the last six blasts came out much weaker and less deadly. That was how power worked sometimes. It came out hard and softened after continuous use. Once she was done she continued her introduction. “And that is my sister hot on your friend’s tail. Her name is Morrigan.”Actions Notes:

“She went on without me again!!!” At this point, the ashy white-haired woman was defeated. “For someone with no stamina, she always just seems to have way more than me."This was true. Morri, Morrigan being her full name, had fallen asleep the moment they had arrived here on Kelioux. They were originally here tracking down another demon who had a bounty on his head and possible connections to their dad.But then Mazikeen, with her annoying leader complex, noticed the kid who helped Luther like MONTHs ago. “Like can we let this go?” At this point, Morrigan was talking to herself and this was before she actually had finally arrived on the battlefield. Morrigan did not waste time with the newcomer and instead found herself chasing the boy who was on the run. With her hand suddenly extending to the side, she conjured a massive sword, which she was able to hold with one hand easily. “Slow dooooown,” she stated with an annoyed draw at the end of her speech. But her words had more power than just being a reflection of how she felt or what she wanted.They were mesmerizing words. Slow down would ring in Joseph’s head constantly and in different tones and verbal volumes. Some sounded normal, some drew out and whispered sensually.Just the simple use of the words slow down was trying to seduce the young boy’s joints and his entire body would attempt to slow down and fall asleep on him.Her words were telling his body that he could trust her…. Yes, his body could trust her…. It could trust her to expose it and make it vulnerable! When Morrigan caught up with the boy, her sword would explode with fiery and electric vigor teeming from the base of the blade and all the way down to the tip of it. The sword had illuminated and provided more light than the moon was giving off in its humpback visage.“I said. Slooooooow doooown!!!!”She took a split second to properly space her legs and create a stance that made her sword look more like an ax being swung, putting both hands on the thick hilt. She swung her blade three hard and powerful times. Each swing was wide and backed with overwhelming power. “Stay! Right! Here!!!”Morrigan spun around in a circle after the very last slice, her sword popping into millions of tiny beads of light. The nearly air-headed vampiric woman almost made herself dizzy with the last spin. “Whooooa -- oh there he is!”She shook her head and then pooled energy into her body. The energy rippled from her shoulder and down to her wrist before she forced her hands forward with a brightened flash of energy! “FLASHLIGHT!!!!”She was going to attempt to blind him first before she satisfied her curious appetite. During the flash, her own visage faded away and she’d appear again behind him with her fangs drawn and teeming with interest in his flesh!Morrigan would then drop down and attempt to sink her fangs into his fresh and succulent neck. During the period of time proceeding the war between the Kai’s and Fallen, Joseph hadn’t expected his actions in the war to follow him after it had ended. He didn’t think much of his time on Valhalla, and he was mainly assigned there by the Kai’s as a powerhouse to help requisition the planet to keep the Fallen from conquering it. The boy hadn’t seen little to no action between attempting to stave off an invasion by Garou during the first attempt to requisition and returning to the planet hearing rumors of Lilim invading and driving off a second invasion himself.
"Hot, o-ow!" Joseph exclaimed as the flash assaulted him as he rolled against her. Luckily the water gave a degree of relief from the burning sensation. Joseph wondered where this woman was during Dominion’s attempts to take Maverick and Valhalla. Was she a more recent addition that came after the war, or did the Empress lapse in judgment not enlisting strong allies when attempting to conquer worlds guarded by some of the most powerful beings in the Galaxy? Soon a massive power arrived; though it was somewhat familiar, it felt different. He turned and looked over his shoulder. “Mona?” he questioned to himself. She felt like a Saiyan when he recalled her being human. He was aware of means of genetic modification, but that didn’t this development from surprising him.
He continued dashing along the campus trails before he broke away from the path to avoid the energies he felt of evacuating students and faculty. He felt a spike in Mazikeen’s point when she raised her power and shot bolts of ki. Joseph stuck his hand out. An azure light manifested in his palm as he moved it in the way of each shot, making them disappear into light and absorb her energy into himself. He tried to do the same for the following set, but his hand was off, and the blasts connected, peppering him with stinging explosive force. The first made him stumble, the second made him trip, and the third got him on his way down. His attention was beckoned by another figure arriving at the scene. He looked over his shoulder to the sight of the white-haired woman. He hurried to his feet and dashing off again, not wanting to engage her until either they were off-campus grounds or the students and faculty were evaculated from the area. The students that happened to be on campus grounds could only catch a blurry glimpse of the child and perhaps Morrigan before a strong gust of wind rushed against them.
Morrigan brandished her large blade as she shouted an exasperated command to slow down; Joseph, incentivized by her demand, picked up his speed and widened the gap between them. Joseph’s aura flashed goldenly, and a mere moment after, he emerged from the radiant energy withstanding blonde hair and emerald eyes. Though he accelerated for a moment after entering this form, he began to slow down as his pursuer desired.
Joseph's expression betrayed a feeling of lethargy that directly contrasted the exhilaration of entering the Super Saiyan transformation, not only that his heightened state felt less refined, less stable. The form did give off greater vigor as his will and the euphoria of the enhanced state fought against hypnotic influence. His eyelids lowered as he began to feel drowsy; though he wanted to keep running, he felt his body loosening as his speeding legs gradually slowed. Part of him even wanted to stop running and lie down.
Soon Morrigan had caught up to him; Joseph looked back at her again, just catching her as she began to spun and hurled her massive weapon, just before it crashed it against his arm, Joseph turned away just at the moment of impact, and yielded to strength of the swinging, he summersaulted, before getting back to his feet and turning towards Morrigan. He still felt the shock resonating down his arm. When the second swing came, he kept his arms up and braced for the second swing that struck his arms and sent him crashing into the side of the other building with a loud thud that echoed across the academy grounds. He moved forward with a wobbly step before quickly crossing his arms before the final swing slamming his back jnto the wall again. sending a surge of throbbing pain down his back. The child collapsed and fell on his rear. He sounded a faint pained groan rose his head to face the vampiric woman just before she ravaged his eyes with a bright flash. Joseph grunted and instinctively shut his eyes, his eyes still rapidly twitching as his eyes water, with a drop escaping under each one.
He forced his eyes open to see his attacker. Everything around him was in the form of blurry and vague shapes, though he didn’t see the shape of Morrigan until she emerged forward and was upon him. Her teeth were driven into his neck before he could even move. “Ahhhh!” Joseph flailed against her, pushing and beating against her hysterically. However, these violent struggles were in vain. He was too shaken up from the earlier attacks and lacked the leverage from his half-prone position. He felt his blood being drawn from him. Joseph charged his aura, blue sparks appearing around him before a blue fiery blue explosion ignited around the child to force Morrigan away from him.
He touched the side of his neck as he hurried to his feet. He briefly glanced down at the blood left on his hand before pulling out his staff. A feeling of perturbance lingered in him. He had never been bitten by a humanoid, let alone have one drink his blood. It would have been foolish to bolt with his vision so fuddled. Instead, he circled and retreated away with his weapon held in both hands and focused on the woman’s vague shape, hoping his vision would clear soon.

Mona smiled. She was happy that her opponent was willing to talk instead of just blasting away mindlessly. Perhaps she could build a relationship off of this fight! Always be optimistic, that’s where her headspace was at. She landed next to Joseph and pressed her breasts against his body which ultimately transferred healing energies into the young boy’s body. Mona turned to Mazikeen and said, “I’m a human by birth, though I don’t hail from Earth. I battled a Saiyan named Vegeta and I managed to replicate some of his DNA and blend it into a slurry which ultimately was able to change my race to that of a Saiyan. It worked well enough to access their super forms in any case. So, is there any reason why you’re attacking my captain?” Mona glanced around at all the mayhem that was happening. It really looked like these two women had a hard on for giving Joseph a bad time. Mona wanted to continue but she was bombarded with a bunch of energy blasts which were on the weaker side but there were many of them so it was almost not worth the hassle of dodging. Mona held her hands out and roared, her power level surging and charging to its maximum potential right before the blasts bombarded her body. She gritted her teeth despite the pain and used one of her ancient artifacts to help charge her most powerful beam; the super kamehameha! She let loose a massive blue beam at Mazikeen. Mona wasn’t quite done yet though; she had many more attacks to let loose and she didn’t have any plans to slow things down until the fat lady sung – and there weren’t any fat ladies around. A massive glyph appeared in front of her and Mona struck it repeatedly, each time sending out an energy blast or a beam out from the glyph. Most of them were focused on Mazikeen though she did let a handful fly towards Mazikeen. Her goal was to overwhelm them with her power hoping that this would give Joseph an opening to do something other than act as a glorified punching bag. “Captain! Do something quick! “Blood transfusions. Ah, I like the way you think,” Mazikeen stated. “It’s pretty personal. I’m just giving him a taste of vengeance that’s all. Something that happened quite a while ago. Morrigan and myself were… away during that time. I just so happen to remember who he was. He’s powerful. I love powerful people. Like you. You can hurt me. I want to see just how much either of you can hurt me.”
Her voice started to fade into a more lustful and seductive tone and her body swayed and rocked in waiting as Mona’s energy revved up another gear. Mazikeen’s sensory contacts started to ping as Mona’s energy rose and began to pin-point at the palms. That was a clear sign of an attack.
Swiftly, Mazikeen’s book popped into existence with a small beacon of light and she pried it open with using just her one hand. It illuminated a blue color as she muttered, “Speed Spell.” Her green outline of an aura switched to a sapphire tone. Just as quick as her book appeared, it had burst into hundreds of tiny balls of light. As the massive beam was fired in her direction, Mazikeen’s dashed to the side with brand new speed, leaving the beam to drill into the shielded grounds. Once the beam had finish itself, the ground showed no signs of damage.
This was Crater City Tech, created -- or mostly just overseen by -- Yan Cass. Once power levels had begun to rise and a battle was suspected, Kelioux Academy Security deployed it.How long until the security team actually gets here to the fight at hand? That was something unknown at the time.
Mazikeen looked down at the ground, seeing how it was completely fine and she batted her eyelashes in interest. “Oh, can we go all out then,” she asked herself before a beam popped her newly weakened flesh right in the shoulder. “Ah!”
She stumbled. Mazikeen’s eyes widened as she saw more blasts approaching her from the glyph.
“Shit, she is loaded.”
Yes, she is loaded.
Blast after blast peppered against her, up until the last wave which her scouter tech in her contacts finally caught onto a pattern. Not only did Mazikeen use that pattern to avoid the rest of the blasts, by weaving through the openings, she also had the data sent to Morrigan with a simple phrase. “Port last attack pattern to Morrigan.”
Mazikeen’s chest puffed out and then right back in heftily. She had to remember how tired she could get.
I’ll just go crazy then. I think they deserve to see the demonic side of me in the flesh.
Mazikeen’s body hunched over and her aura detonated from her body. It was a mixture of purple and crimson. Her eyes were deep red and her fangs had grown a few more inches. She almost looked like a saber tooth tiger with how long her incisors had gotten.
Power began to pool into both palms, starting from the core of her body and rising upward through her chest and into her arms like a ripple. Right before she would fire that pent up energy, she dashed fast enough to leave behind an eerie image of herself with a sick and wide Cheshire cat’s grin.
Her form disappeared to the natural eye as she zigged and zagged like a deranged fly. She did this until she was directly behind both of them and fired five shots at the two, that had enough size to rival rhinos. Two of them threatened to ram into Mona, while three rushed at Joseph. All while she fired, pumping her hands forward with each shot, Mazikeen’s laughter rang out like a child. Something changed in her. Her personality had devolved it seemed.
“Maze thinks you are good playmates!!! Let’s keep playing!!!”
She giggled wildly and with genuine joy at that. Mazikeen did not stop pumping her arms, even though the energy output had drastically diminished. She continued firing blasts, but they shrunk from rhinos to just mere wild hogs.
“Twelve little piggies for you!” Twelve shots were fired at Mona.
“And twelve little piggies for you!!! There!! Everyone gets the same amount. Now where are Maze’s piggies!?” And she fired twelve at Joseph.
Mazikeen’s demonic will took over and she had become not only a danger to them, but to herself as well. She wanted to hurt just as much as she was hurting them.
Why? Because it was only fair, right?

There was a hum of satisfaction that would tickle Joseph’s already pinched neck as she took in his blood and his energy. After draining a considerable amount her teeth slid out of his neck and there was a whisper into his ear. “Oh come on, that didn’t hurt that bad thank yo-- Ahhh!!” The blue flames pushed them apart and separated the two. Morrigan stumbled back and shook her head. “Ugh,” she let out before her eyes shot open violently. Joseph’s power had just processed into her body and it caused her to hunch over in some kind of...pain? “This power is potent!!” She dropped to her knees and hugged her stomach for a moment. “So this is the power of a super saiyan, huh? This is….exhilarating.” The pain was forming itself into fulfillment now. Morrigan was always powerful, but this? It could not be contained. She screamed and as she did the weather began to bend around her. The shining moon was covered by dark clouds almost immediately and they came with lightning dancing between them. A few strikes smashed into the ground around Morrigan and it threatened the intense barrier that protected the academy. Morrigan finally pushed herself up from her hunched over position and stood there. The vampiric woman stared down at her hands as golden energy surrounded her. Her eyes were flashing a teal color, a sign of the immediate dangers of a super saiyan being born. Several flashes of lightning complemented the flashes of gold in her hair. “I can’t hold this back. I have to let it out or it will destroy me!!!” A final scream of power erupted from her and the explosive power obliterated the beam that was meant for her from Mona. in the clash of energies was an explosion that created a debris cloud. That cloud masked when Morrigan conjured her massive sword again and it was only seen when she swung it to slice the blasts in half that were meant to threaten her. That slice sent pressure throughout the battlefield. “This boy isn’t normal if he gave me this kind of power boost,” she said while looking down at her sword. The golden aura crept along her entire body and then cloaked the sword itself. Her new found power had enhanced the blade. Morrigan’s scouter contact set off and she looked up to the final wave of blasts coming from Mona’s glyph. Morrigan simply took a step to the side and the blasts missed her by several inches. “This is amazing,” she stated while holding her sword up to the sky and allowing a strike of lightning to smash into the blade. Her blade was heavy with energy and she set her sights on Mona right after Mazikeen was done being creepy.. again.. “Ready to feel your captain’s potential?” Morrigan darted like a bullet toward Mona, and when she reached the vulpotious wizard she broke into three versions of herself. As they surrounded her, each brandished the same blade which they all swung with deadly intent. Each slice would come one after the other, slicing her in three different spots. Once their slashes were done, two of them would crash back into Morrigan. With her blade to her side, and facing Mona, her entire body set ablaze in a golden fury, that had a very thick outline of black shadows. It was a similar movement that Mona performed on her sister. Morrigan would dash and slice the wizard with a heavy blow before turning around and doing the same exact motion. She zoomed from one point to the next, with Mona in the center of each point, slicing at her body with bullet level quickness. “And now to share,” she stated as she finished going for the last strike. Morrigan spun around in a circle three times, unleashing three massive waves of potent energy from her sword. The main target, Mona would be in danger of taking most of the attack, but as the wave thinned out, Joe would only take just a bit less of its damage. Morrigan’s sword broke into tiny light orbs to free her hands.The vampire forced her hands out and decided to give Mona time to think about her next move. Joseph stopped moving when he felt something soft press against his body. The warm contact and the healing energies gradually eased the boy’s distress and pain, the slight burns partially faded, and holes in his neck closed, but there were still marks that he could feel tenderness at. He looked over to the blurred figure with his still abjectly fuddled sight, though he could sense from the aura that Mona was in his proximity, and he could be happier to have a vague shape near him at this moment. “Thanks for jumping in and healing me. I was actually thinking of you earlier.” He listened to Mona explaining why and how she changed to a Saiyan. Oh right, Vegeta, it's coming back to me; he did recall Mona mentioning that she wanted to change to a different species as she deemed the other races more powerful than humans. It wasn’t sentiment necessarily agreed with, but he couldn’t deny that her abilities showed to be enhanced from what he saw in their sparring sessions.
He looked down towards Morrigan, who looked to be writhing in pain, before screaming in pain, which made the boy worry. “Are you ok? You’re not going to explode, are you?” Joseph said with a concerned tone. “We can stop, and I can take you to Yaidratian, who knows a technique that can extract that energy from you.” He looked down at Morrigan and started to reach out a hand towards her. Lightning struck the ground drawing his attention to the sky as Morrigan straightened her posture. The burst of power followed by Morrigan’s scream pushed Joseph back, making him stumble back until he bumped into Mona and came to a stop.
His eyes widened as he gasped in shock and awe at the power Morrigan was now exuding. Whoa! She got this much power from drinking my blood? She’s almost as strong as Anna in Super Saiyan now! he thought to himself, even though she was an enemy who had just become even more fierce, he couldn’t help but marvel at what he was witnessing. Come to think of it, when he was being tested on Dr. Briefs and Rose, Rose noted that Joseph had a profound amount of S cells. They were cells that could be found in all Saiyans and many Saiyan hybrid’s. They were what allowed the Saiyan to enter into the Super Saiyan form. That could have been why his blood had such a large effect on her. And given Mona modified her genes with replicated DNA from Vegeta, a member of the royal bloodline who was among the most powerful and realized Super Saiyans, it could explain how Mona could transcend to the second level after becoming a Saiyan so recently.
Afterward, He turned to who he made out to be, Mazikeen, figuring that out more so from her aura and voice rather than the distorted image his eyes were showing him. As she explained herself, Joseph rose his arms up, extended them, then narrowed his stance, preparing himself to act once she was done speaking and ready to strike again. The Vampire was interrupted during her explanation for the second time tonight as Mona continued to press her attack against the two sisters, releasing a volley of blasts. Her magic impressed him more and more with each time he saw it; between that and her newfound power, he was further excited by the thought of fighting her. Joseph didn’t let himself dwell on this, however. Now was the time to be fighting alongside her against the threat at hand. He spoke to Mona to add further context on what lead the two sisters here to him; "She's with the Infernal Dominion who were with the Fallen and invaded Valhalla during the war. I stopped them."
When Mona urged Joseph to do something after finishing her heavy assault, Joseph nodded. She was right; this was serious. Even if they were initially just after him and the people of the Keliouxian Academy were being evacuated under the protection of the Crater City protection protocols, he was fighting for more than himself here. Mona got involved by stepping in on his behalf, and they were eager to spread out the retaliation. He had to be a hero for her as well as save himself.
Joseph rose his power nearly when Mazikeen began tapping into deeper wells of her demonic abilities. Golden beams of light rose and encircled the half-Saiyan as he crouched down and shouted; electricity crackled around the boy's form before a flash ignited. Once aura settled and began to fade, Joseph’s body was outlined in a gentle golden glimmer. His hair no longer standing straight up but closer to its original shape with the bangs slightly longer, shaper, and raised at their ends. Sparks of blue lighting continually crackled and flashed around his frame. He faced ahead with narrowed eyes and a sterner, stoic visage.
Joseph braced himself when he felt a surge in Mazikeen’s power. He could vaguely make out the changes in her posture and the purple and red lights, and his vision slowly started to clear to where he could make out the sinister smile that showed her sharpened fangs. He leaned slightly forward, wary of the intense concentration of energy she was generating, he projected his spirit energy over himself placing a layer of Azure energy ki that came off him like steam. The boy circled around, his narrow stance allowing him to cover ground quickly with small steps. He kept his head and eyes moving to track, darting blur in the sky while carefully focusing on her ki. Eventually, she went to their flanks and Joseph felt a brief stop in her movements. He placed one foot to the other, then stepped out, shifting his stance to switch his leading and rear leg in a pivot that allowed him to maneuver in front of Mona a blink. "Get back," Joseph urged quickly rose his arms up to cover his face with covering his face with his closed hands and forearms and his body with his lower forearms and elbows. When Mazikeen unloaded Joseph braced himself and gritted his teeth in anticipation. He needed to do anything it took to overcome the ferocious threat. It may have entailed continuing to be a glorified punching bag, but at least he also could be a noble punching that took the hits for his teammate.
He stepped in to meet the blasts head-on, it exploded against his entire being, bathing him in explosive force that he continued to push back against, each massive shot sending a painful shock that radiated up and down his entire body, crashing throughout his arms, throbbing pain traveling down his back to his legs. The heat that gave off made his skin feel like he was pressing his whole body against a hot iron. Despite it he refused to move, back. He continued to stand his ground against the blasts, even when each one felt like he was getting hit by a truck while standing in the middle of a wildfire, his legs grew more and more wobbly with each shot endured. The final large blast made broke his guard, making his arms drop down while being sent back, leaving him open to the less potent but still stinging blast that felt like salt being thrown on to open wounds, he fell prone on his back.
The Super Saiyan charged sister asked Mona if she was ready to feel her captain’s potential. Joseph had yet to come around from Mazikeen's hellish volley, allowing Morrigan to pass him and make strikes against Mona. Urged by the worry of harm to his ally, Joseph rolled over and forced himself up. He channeled his energy and made a transparent bubble of energy around himself before shooting in a burst of speed, leaving a hollow image of him where stood before he was interposed between Mona and Morrigan. He could see a shining blur split into three shining blurs before she began her assault. Joseph kept his focus on her ki as he circled Mona to follow Morrigan. He rose his guarding arms against the slashes, each one cutting across his forearms, cuts up and down riddled his arms, he winched and grunted in pain as the barrier could only mitigate the force of her sword swings, allowing the ki empowering them and widening and burning his wounds.
The last strike took him off unsteady footing and taking him from his interposed position. The Swordswoman then sent out three massive waves of ki from her sword. Joseph kept his arms raised to guard as the first one crashed and shattered the waning shield before the second exploded against his torso and knocked him on his back. The Demi-Earthling grunted and jumped back to his feet without even pressing his hands on the ground before whispering to Mona. “My eyes are still recovering from an earlier attack, but they’re starting to clear. I’ll do my best to protect you. Please do what you can to hold them off.” Joseph placed a hand on Mona’s, and blue energy transferred to her. Little blue embers of ki would appear and float around Mona. The energy transferred would cast a protective effect over her and would dampen the impact of attacks against her, and would protect her from lingering harmful effects of whatever powers they’d evoke against her.

A few things that I need to address. Will be short and sweet. * I'm not a fan of damage calculations or calculators. It's not in the battle guide, and that's what I go by. When you both requested me as ref you knew that was my style. According to the Definitive Guide To Roleplaying In Battle I shouldn't have to step in unless there's a dispute. * Mona, I don't want to read stuff like this It's borderline god-modding. Technically though, you're right - those blasts shouldn't fail you or anything close but they should hurt and you should feel it. * Mazikeen, please don't ever describe a Double Zanzoken as That's a very weak description for a double after-image technique. If Joseph hadn't fumbled the mechanics so bad his mediocre RP might have nearly edged you out for the defense. You can do better. Much better. * Joseph, you can't mimic a tech and then blast cancel with that same tech all in one action without first dealing with the tech. Opponent uses tech --> You defend it/take it --> You mimic it. That's the order of operations. Because the mimic is illegal you get to edit your defense. Don't forget about your 4 crit Blind actions. * Not a fan of how any of you are role playing damage. Not enough description, so ultimately it makes this battle a slog to read and low effort/low quality writing. As an unbiased party I'd love to see more physical attacks....hint....hint. * Fight on. |

Mona liked Mazikeen, at least at first. Then something changed. She kicked into high gear firing an impressive attack that Joseph thankfully blocked for her because otherwise she might have been toast. Mona felt as if she needed to stay close by because he seemed to take a lot of damage and she had the opportunity to heal him up. She stepped forwards only to divert a dozen ki blasts with her sword before re-sheathing it and standing behind Joseph once more. She felt sufficiently suppressed due to her high ki expenditure and ended up getting whacked around by many attacks. A dozen ki blasts… they all hurt like hell and made Mona wonder why anyone would want Joseph to pay that badly. “Surely we can work something out before anyone gets seriously hurt can’t we?” Mona shouted at no one in particular. She hadn’t expected her opponents to turn up the heat so quickly. “Surely revenge would be best paid with mora… I mean zeni?” she asked knowing full well she had like 200 zeni to her name tops. Forever poor. Unfortunately her pleas were cut off when Morrigan came zooming by, slashing like a madman which Joseph once again was able to block for her. It was unfortunate because Mona got separated from Joseph after that. She scrunched up into a ball to defend herself and ended up getting struck once in each arm and once in her left leg from what seemed like multiple Morrigans at once followed up by many more sword slashes. Morrigan continued and slashed multiple times across her chest, digging into her bosom which spurted a bit of blood. “I don’t want to have to hurt you two! I implore you to find a peaceful solution!” Mona shouted as she jumped back to Joseph’s side. A ring that hung right under her neck on a chain glowed brightly when a ring started to enclose around her. In an instant the ring reacted and the ring would find itself closing around Morrigan instead. Now that she actually had time to think she took out a pouch that contained a bunch of useful items in it. She pulled out three orbs and tossed two of them at Mazikeen and one at Morrigan. Good descriptions per usual. As I said before I'd like to see more details with taking damage. Overall just solid all around writing but again, it could be better.
Joseph -
You stepped it up in your last post with your descriptions and attention to details, as well as Joseph's thoughts and his weariness of battle endangering other people. Need more from you when it comes to the environment though. That's one of your biggest blind spots.
Mona -
Last post was more concise and to the point with passable prose. Pretty much I could tell that you took more than 30 seconds to write your post. Ironically though your battle style is more in line with what the Battle Guide would want from a battler, to take attacks because in a DBZ fight characters can take a lot of damage at the level you're at so, something to think about for the other combatants.
RP Award goes to Mazikeen cause she has a huge rack bit more flavor to her.
* Note - Don't be afraid to take hits just be reasonable about the damage that is being done. These battles shouldn't be short, especially at this level. Have fun with it.

The world was filled with dark, childish laughter which had more haunting properties than playful ones. The voice which giggled and laughed would also sound doubled and gurgly. Mazikeen was in a completely different mindset now. With Morrigan twisting the weather to a darker tone, Mazikeen felt more comfortable. Her widened eyes, filled with energy and attention, were set on Mona and as the wizard tossed at these strange orbs from her pocket. Two of the orbs exploded around Mazikeen and stunned her enough to push her back and stall her for just a moment. “T-Trying to stall for your capy capy(Captain)?” She shook it off and set her sights on Joseph, who had done a valiant job at protecting the wizard of thick proportions. Her energy rose in excitement. “Good boy, yes you are! But Maze wants you to play with her and she wants you to hurt her real bad.”
Her speech patterns were atrocious. There was such a lack of intellect in her words and it was evident that she abandoned everything for this shift in agility. She felt so much faster than before, even with the speed spell active. Was this sacrifice worth it? She pointed her finger at Joseph. “Here I come!!”
Mazikeen took in a deep breath and pulled her head back to look up at the darkened skies. “Spinny Spinny Dash! Just like you did!!” Mazikeen curled up into a ball, rolling forward and became a speedy bowling ball that began to blurr with speed. She rushed toward him and hopefully would run smack dab into him in a tackle, just like he had done her. If she was able to hit him, she would spin all upon his body before bouncing off into the air.
One could swear they heard 8 bit video game sound effects akin to a certain blue hedgehog. While in mid air, she would unfurl her entire body with a “Pow!!!!” escaping her lips in a cute way. She giggled even more, showing just how much fun she was having.
But there was not enough pain. That still disappointed her. At the beginning pain was coming in the bunches to her. It started off fun and she really thought that maybe she could unleash herself and show them who she really was.
She stared down at where Joseph would be and her body tensed. With the tension, steam started to rise from the skin as if she was about to combust.. “Don’t blink capy!!!!”
Her movement happened in a Planck time period. If Joe was looking at her as she was in the sky he had a chance to be confused as to how she was already slicing at his eyes with elongated fingernails, sharpened to kill. Everyone who looked at the move she made saw that there were frames of action missing. It was an instant approach to the front of the boy and her swing wasn’t even able to be documented by the eyes. Would the boy be able to move just as fast? It was possible. Steam exuded from her body after she made the slice at his eyes, and she stumbled forward and rolled out of the way.
She knew that her gun-ho sister was about to strike.

As Mona bounced the donut of energy back, Morrigan held her hand out and recalled the energy back to herself for later use then. Morrigan took note of something around Mona; a blue flame. Her head tilted absently at it. “Huh,” she let out with a blink of her eyes as well. The super saiyan power was settling in her, surprisingly. As she looked at the wisps dancing around Mona, Morrigan failed to realize the orb that rolled underneath her. “What did he do--” she started before a loud bang caught her attention and made her look down. It was some kind of concussion orb and Morrigan gasped in shock at its effects on her. “Agh! What the hell,” she let out and then she threw a pouting tantrum. A golden aura expanded from her body and her power increased. She was a bit annoyed at the way her hair had become a bit wild, and she took just a bit of time to fix her hair up during Mazikeen’s short burst of craziness. Morrigan knew an opening would present itself, but she also knew she needed to look good while Mazikeen...opened the opening. “There,” she said when she felt her hair was in better condition than before. “Saiyans really screw their hair up with this transforming or..ascending-- whatever they call it.” Morrigan slid her feet apart and ignited a stance she was fond of. Her feet had become light as the wind was and she bounced on her toes lightly. She was building up with anticipation. Right after Mazikeen’s body rolled past the boy on the final strike, Morrigan conjured up her sword and dashed at Joseph. Her quickness peaked enough to erase her presence for a split second, leaving behind an eddy of dust. Morrigan didn’t attempt to fool him, like how Mazikeen did. She ran straight up to him and swung twice heavily in the air. Two massive, golden lines of energy ripped the air in half and formed an X directly in-front of her. Morrigan forced her palm forward and shoved the Energy X at Joseph. It was powerful and sharp. As it dug into the ground, it even sliced effortlessly through the barriered grounds and if it touched Joseph in any way, it would cut any part of his body clean off. This was not an attack meant to be blocked, but rather it needed to be escaped. Would he be able to? Despite sending such a deadly attack, Morrigan did not let up. She was concentrated now. The foes before her were adamant and they had skill. She could not let up for even a second. Two copies of herself and her sword ripped from her body, and there was a shift in power. Her power had split into three, and she created two extra consciousnesses and bodies. The first extra Morrigan wasted no time in dashing to keep up with Joseph. As she rose her massive blade to the sky, lightning smashed onto it and set it on fire once again. She brought it down with a gargantuan swing, as if she was trying to rip him in half with it. The same clone brung the blade back up and she swung three more heavy times. The heavy swings were extremely fast and there was no wasted time between them. That same clone decided to top it off with a final swing, but this time right at Joseph’s ribcage. She was going to either cut him in half, or lodge the blade into his body and drain the life energy out of his blood. Actions Notes:6% ki super form per post Morrigan
