Hey there player,
Here on Alexsdbzrpg (ADBZ) we have just a few simple rules for people to be able to enjoy the wondrous fun of battling other players and experience one of the many ways to grow stronger. Most rules in regards to combat can be found HERE and a guide to write better posts and have a shot at winning that precious RP reward during battles can be found HERE.
When you're not yet comfortable or experienced with the system yet, you have the option of trying out a training battle. This is a special type of battle in which you can try and learn the ropes and gain some valuable experience with how the battle system works, how referees operate and more. You can engage in a training battle with another inexperienced person, with an NPC controlled by an RP guide or by learning it all firsthand with one of the more experienced players on site.
To be able to start|request a training battle and to be sure it is valid for the rewards upon completion, the parameters and outliers to which you must comply are listed below.
Training Battle base rules:
1. The requesting player can't have any battle experience yet.
2. The requesting player can't be over 50,000 PL.
3. Each participant in a training battle must have at least 6 posts with 300 or more words before the conclusion/completion of the battle.
4. Each post must have a minimum roleplay wordcount of 200-300 words to be considered a valid post depending on the actions taken in the post (posts without actions can be a bit shorter than usual.)
5. referees will post a short evaluation after every 3 rounds (after a total of 3 posts of per person) to elaborate on potential damage, criticals that have not been resolved yet on the designated discord channel and to hand out an rp reward which will boost the receiver's overall power and stats with 15% until the next referee evaluation.
6. Staff reserves the right to refuse full gains if the training battle does not comply to the above parameters or there is an obvious lack of effort in the quality of roleplay.
When you are certain that you can go for the real deal, you can enjoy a real battle, with other people who will all be trying to win and are all expected to do their very best to be the one standing on top of the heap at the end of the battle. Unlike training battles, regular battles have a few less restrictions, but still follow the most basic parameters to be considered valid for rewards at the end of the battle.
Regular battle|duel|team battle base rules:
1. Any in house rules, internal agreements between players MUST be listed in the first post and may or may not be dismissed by staff when they are considered questionable or contrary to existing parameters and rules.
2. A referee must be fully aware of any agreements between players to avoid unnecessary disagreements and discontent.
3. Each participant in a battle must have at least 6 posts with 300 or more words before the conclusion/completion of the battle.
6. Staff reserves the right to refuse full gains if the battle does not comply to the above parameters or there is an obvious lack of effort in the quality of roleplay. When there is disagreement with a decision from the referee or staff itself, you may ask a second opinion from another staffmember, but if they come to the same conclusion, the decision is final.
