Mona made a confused face when her beams didn’t make the sounds she’d expected them to in the distance and through the debris. It sounded like they were being deflected or something that wasn’t good. She saw a glowing net thing coming at her and it scared her so much that she jolted out of her super saiyan form and back to her base state. “OH SHIT!” she shouted as she grabbed the edge of the net and tossed it aside. This created just the opportunity Mona needed to prepare for Chaos’ onslaught. She was impressed that he was still standing, seeing as though he’d clearly gotten hit by her biggest attack. Now that she thought about it, she didn’t think she’d ever actually hit anyone with that. Usually they used some kind of super powerful attack that trumped her own. Fortunately, some of the attacks were relatively straightforward to dodge. She left behind a series of afterimages which served as sacrificial doppelgangers for three of Chaos’s slashes. Unfortunately, the slashes quickly sped up and even her enhanced speed wasn’t enough to keep up. She In an instant it seemed like her entire body was sliced open from all direction at once. This would ultimately lead to her suffering her first major injury since the battle started. The many slashes she’d taken up until this point all seemed to simultaneously gush out blood which brought Mona to her knees. She looked up at Chaos with a dazed look on her face. She could barely see him one because one of her eyes was gone and two because there was a big gash going along her forehead that was basically gushing blood down her only good eye. “What do you say? Just pay your fine you cheap bastard it’s only three hundred zeni. Then I… then I can get out of here.” She hoped that she could convince the man to pay his due but if he didn’t then she could understand. She took the opportunity to let ki seep back into her body as she rested which would surely help her in some way or another. Chaos laughed, low and cruel. His head shook slowly in response and he took the momentary to slide in to a balanced stance.
Then, he was gone in a blur of reality warping speed, appearing before her with a sword already carving a dangerous arc across her throat. The red sword followed in silky fluidity, flashing in the waning light through a downward Slash.
He worked his feet to keep her in range of his sword strikes but it was hardly his true reason for closing the distance. His red eyes emanated an eerie glow, he stepped in close, and attempted to corrupt her with a wicked spell injected by a simple glance.
If the unsuspecting woman was caught in his trap she would find the world around her vanishing into the creeping darkness until her senses were entirely enveloped by nothingness. Then, from the abyss, a storm of swords would assault her for a hundred years.
At least, she would believe that to have happened, torture and agony. Powerless for a century... but in reality only a dozen seconds would pass.
While she wreslted with the hefty spell Chaos took the opportunity to recover. A familiar red portal appeared above him and a tiny been fluttered out into his outstretched hand. He chewed it in a hurry unsure how his opponent may be faring.

Mona hadn't really thought that Chaos would pay his fine but at least she'd offered to bring this unnecessary fight to a close. Her expression turned annoyed and her hair turned solid yellow as Chaos approached. She brought her forearms up to block the intended slash across her throat and then jumped backwards to create some distance. However when she landed Chaos was gone and she saw an infinite number of blades coming down at her. Mona ran but the swords followed her so she took out her sword and started deflecting as many of them as she could but the attack was seriously nonstop and very painful. She had to take refuge in a broken down ship but eventually the swords made it though that too. Mona lived a hundred years of jumping from cover to cover which was annoying more than anything else. The illusion came to an abrupt end one day and Mona found herself standing right where she had been a hundred years ago. "Oh." She said. "I thought I was in hell or something. Don't do that again, please and thank you." She didn’t really like having to have been made to go through all that mess but there was little she could actually do about it. No doubt this dude would have the ability to get rid of most of her powerful attacks with a flick of the wrist so she resorted to shooting four small beams of energy at him with her right pointer finger. They were golden in color and might have looked familiar to her foe as they’d pestered him not too long ago. Each one would be aimed at a different limb which would hopefully knock him back a little cause he was kind of too dangerous up close. Chaos watched her body rage against the effects of his spell, a sinister grin on his otherwise emotionless face. She came out of it somehow still sane, and shot off another series of those irritating little blasts.
He shifted slightly at their approach, the minutest of movements taking him out of harm's way. He exhaled as the blasts rushed past him near enough he could hear them whistle by.
"Don't worry. The next time you see Hell it won't be an illusion---" he spat, voice raspy after months of not being used. He scratched at his throat, very aware of how irritated his vocal chords felt after speaking.
He extended his arms wide and let his head lull back till he was staring at the twilight above. His eyes fixed on something unseen in the sky and he seemed entranced. The usual red glow of his eyes shifted gradually to indigo and a pin prick of light the same color appeared above the clouds.
The speck of indigo expanded rapidly, nearly encompassing the sky but stopping just short of the horizon. Within the otherworldly manifestation, suggestions of shape played and twirled. The strange shapes poured out of the scar in the scar, coalescing and moving like thick smoke. Within seconds the entire sky was covered by the darkness, crimson flashes of lightning rumbling inside the dark purple clouds.
Plat. Pit. Pat.
A few unusually heavy drops of water hit the ground.
Pit pat. Pitapat. Pitapatpitapatpitat.
The drizzle quickly grew into a downpour coming down in thick sheets. Raindrops splashed and rippled in the puddles all around them. But as more of it came down it would become clear that this rain was nothing like the storms responsible for the puddles.
Pitapatssssss. Hissssss...
Where trees or grass remained on the battlefield small tufts of smoke billowed as the rain came in contact. The caustic rain brought forth from another dimension was the anithesis of the usual life-bringing water, eating through organic material in seconds.
Chaos remained motionless with his arms out wide, appearing to be a man simply enjoining a refreshing bout of rain. With that likely keeping his opponent distracted he began to release the restraints on his true power. Much like his voice there was something uncomfortable about using it after so long, something like soreness or an itchy irritation.
He had spent so much time and effort to remain hidden only to have this random stooge ruin his cover. By now all of Toffit was probably aware of his presence and there would only be minutes to escape planet.
Ultraviolet fire roared to life around him, the ground beneath his feet cracking and collapsing in on itself from the immense pressure. The border between his body and his energy began to blur, his flesh taking on the same color of his Ki until he appeared to be a humanoid flame.
His head rolled forward allowing him to gaze upon his foolish enemy. Despite the thick downpour his eyes saw through the veil with no effort.
Without warning he launched himself at her with both blades working through a pair of slashes across her body with renewed speed and power unlike anything she'd seen him do before.
As his second strike completed its arc he manifested a baseball sized orb in front of his chest. It spun and roiled with black flames on its surface, bubbling with the instability of such immense force gathered in a single point.
The energy elicited an ear piercing screech as reality wrestled to contain the force until it reached a critical tipping point and unleashed the gathered powered in an explosion that tore apart the planet around them. From this distance such a large attack would be hard to avoid, but even with a head start the walls of the explosion went for miles, unimpeded by mountains, forests, cities-- even just escaping the blast radius would prove difficult.
Having unleashed enough power to bring an extradimensional storm to this plane and loosing an attack easily capable of swallowing a country he began to feel the first real signs of fatigue.
As the planet rumbled with several aftershocks and quakes Chaos was calm and collected, taking a deep breath of the smoke filled air. The devastation seemed to renew him, the feeling of his power being unfettered after so many months actually having a bit of a invigorating effect in spite of the massive amount of energy he had used. As he took in the sights and sounds of destruction he wondered if his enemy finally realized the depth of her foolishness.

“Damn, that’s cold,” Mona said to Chaos’s comment about hell. It was one of the few lines that the man had said to her and it was badass as fuck. Mona didn’t quite know what to think about the rain. It was rain that hurt, which wasn’t too much different than being on a planet that had acid rain problems. It ate through Mona’s hat which was probably her greatest worry. It didn’t seem to want to eat into her skin for the time being and instead would leave a myriad of little burn marks all over her body. Then Chaos came at her with another sword slash considerably stronger and faster than he had been before. This was just another notch in the bedpost, another bloody gash on Mona’s torso nearly identical to the rest. The only attack she thought she had a chance of avoiding was the orb that Chaos spent time charging up. Right after the ball fired at her Mona placed two fingers on her forehead and blinked right behind Chaos. “Howdy!” she’d shout as she placed her palms out and let loose two dozen tiny ki blasts which she hoped would annoy him a bit. She might not be able to make gashes with her sword but she had a knack for whipping out tedious smaller attacks. She didn’t really have a follow up plan though. RP Report Winner: Chaos
A note to the both of you. While I see there has been more elements included into the RPs that are more story driven, I would like to point out what I said the last time about "story" in the RP. I really hope you both can include a bit more in this regard because, as I mentioned before, it is my favorite part about a battle and is what I feel this is missing.
Mona:
I want to begin with saying how much you improved since the last RP report. I've seen less plain speech and the imagery has definitely become more noticeable. The dynamic that you have created for Mona is interesting and I have to say I enjoyed reading the most recent posts a lot more than the earlier ones. However, there are still some grammatical errors, but once again they are way better than before. Overall I think you did great and I am pleased that you improved so quickly.
Chaos:
Not much to say that I haven't already, you did touch up a bit more on setting and story I feel, so thanks for taking the time to do so. Grammar is good, nothing too extreme that needs adjusting, keep up the good work.

Dust and debris filled the air as far as even his keen eyes could see, but he sensed he had missed. He managed to hit everything for a hundred miles in every direction except his target. His brows furrowed with frustration. She must have done something to travel within the folds of time instead of the directional limitations of spacial movement, else she would have had to teleport across the planet and back.
Not that it mattered how she did it, he reminded himself, and shrugged off the miss with a click of his tongue.
She was behind him suddenly, he felt it before he heard her voice, but there was no way to turn in time.
Several small blasts peppered his back and knocked the wind out of him but somehow he managed to keep his balance and spin around, firing a fountain of Ki at the incoming blasts and swallowing them several times over. The immense, shapeless mass of his energy continued right on through and to where his opponent stood firing shot after shot.
He felt the muscles between his shoulders knot up but he ignored it, tracing an intricate shape in the air with his swords. The path of the blades left behind ethereal streaks of light forming a symbol in the air. The symbol pulsed once then vanished, the effect of it only apparent when the air molecules surrounding Mona exploded in an earthshattering display of nuclear fission.
His senses remained keenly locked on her Ki signature, not willing to let her slip through time and space again so easily. He dashed forward, ripping a hole in the endless curtain of acid rain and leaving a trench in the muddy ground.
His blades were extended out wide as his figure blurred into view before her, each lit with that familiar ultraviolet light. He feinted with one, swung hard with the other, the reach of it barely enough to make contact, but that was the point.
If she made no effort to move the force of the strike and the energy along it would detonate on her.
However, if she did attempt to avoid the strike she may be caught off guard as the wave of ultraviolet particles split from the blade and continue its arc through her neck.
The simple downstroke of his slash elicited a shockwave of force that ripped a thin trench through the ground beside them. He let the momentum of that boom push him back, sandals sliding in the mud and rain.
With a little bit of distance between them he unbound the restraints on his power even further, instantly refreshed by the release. His aura vibrated and seemed to grow brighter than before, casting the entire landscape in an ethereal glow or pools of dark shadow. A bloody red streak of lightning tore through the sky and the rumble of thunder that followed shook the world, the storm feeding off the energetic release of its creator.

He took slow measured steps towards where she had come to a stop, smoke billowing from where his attacks had connected or the caustic rain found flesh to eat. His methodical approach came to a halt twenty yards away. Without ever taking his eyes off of her he pointed his crimson blade towards the sky, tip of it glinting menacingly in the electric flashes.
There was a pause, a lull in the rain, a stop in the thunder claps. All was silent, and the flashes of lightning halted sending the world into total darkness. Nothing dared make a sound. Then, Chaos brought his arm down pointing the tip of his sword in Mona's direction. At the command of his blade a blood red hole tore the clouds open revealing a bubbling collection of raw power. It fell from the sky like the hammer of god, crushing the location where she had been, branches of wild lightning carving spiderwebbing trenches across the land.
Though it must have felt like an eternity, the massive bolt subsided in an eye blink leaving the air sizzling. His eyes remained locked on her location, but his senses provided the most clarity. He concentrated on her Ki signature, willing a pair of Indagator orbs to rush her like invisible missiles twisting madly as they went.
Chaos followed right behind, keeping pace with any attempted retreat and lashed out with another pair of slashes in a massive cross pattern. At the downstroke of the second slash he unleashed another fireball from within his chest.
He made every effort to keep her in range, eager to brutally beat her to death now that she had accepted her fate. Ironic that she had hoped to use close combat to her advantage initially, now could very well see her quest ended the very same way. It seemed whoever had given her Chaos' name sent her with nothing else of value, damning her before she had even thrown the first punch.

Chaos licked his lips as he saw each strike smash her pitiful figure. He wasn't sure what the grotesque crunch was, but if felt like her ribcage had finally shattered beneath the weight of his sword.
In that moment he inhaled a deep, soothing breath of the putrid air. As far as even his eyes could see there was no trees or folliage in sight, all of it reduced to organic soup beneath the Tempesta rain storm, filling the craters around them with tepid pools of death.
Step-by-step, each stride meticulously measured, the Emperor of nothing closed in. Then, he struck, fist burning with indigo Ki leaving a streak in the air, aimed once again for her ribs.
He retracted his fist and threw a pair of jabs at her jaw using the hilts of his swords like brass knuckles, punctuated by a blurred slash of the black blade.
His swords came together then drew a vicious X with a pair of chops to her shoulders.
Chaos stabbed and slashed furiously at her defenseless body, over and over until his arms burned but his assault showed no signs of slowing-- he was going to brutalize her for her sin of idiocy, and it was important that she felt every second of it. Perhaps then she would be cleansed of her foolishness, on the precipice of death when such acceptance would be futile in the face of the reaper. Then she could carry that sense of irony and powerlessness with her to the grave.
He spun in place, blades rolling over each other with powerful and devastating strokes, mastery still unparalleled in the galaxy.
The red blade darted, feinting a strike, but he pulled up short, leaped and flipped sideways over her and attacked with a pair of downward stabs mid-flight. Chaos landed silently, spinning immediately, crimson and ebony blades whistling through the dead air towards Mona's exposed throat.

Just like that, she fell.
Every blow found its mark and each connected with devastating power and precision. The flame of his transformation vanished along with any threat she may have posed. He knelt down and touched the hilt of her sword. He was going to toss it aside, but as he picked it up he realized the blade was far superior to most he found in his travels these days.
He felt the weight in his hand, perfectly balanced, edge of it impossibly sharp. It paled in comparison to his beloved swords of course, but it would make a fine addition to his cosmos-spanning collection.
Besides, it would fare far better in the hands of a true master and he could sense the sword knew it too. With a casual flick into the air the large double edged sword scattered into motes of crimson dust, swept away to his pocket dimension with all of his treasures. His eyes watched the particles vanish then turned his attention to the motionless woman facedown in a blood filled rain puddle.
Chaos lifted her to her feet with a telekinetic tug. Her limp body hung in the air like a marionette, broken, burned and bruised, blood pouring from her many open wounds in thick red rivers. He let out a disappointed sigh as he approached, blades dragging in the dirt behind him. He paused inches from her face, near enough he could smell the copper-y blood and sweat covering her body. His nose wrinkled in disgust.
Without warning he thrust both blades into her bowels, scraping against her spine until the exploded out of her back. Then, with all the power he could command, he ripped the blades out wide, nearly splitting her in two. The only thing holding her lower half and torso together was the tentative connection between her spine and pelvis now.
He struck her again. And again. And again and again.

A horrifying song of blade and bone and blood echoed across the desolate landscape. The song reached a wet crescendo, and by the time he stopped swinging only her face remained uncovered by blood. He huffed where he stood and released his telekinetic hold letting her destroyed body slump into a gory pile of blood and viscera.
Calmness returned to Chaos' visage and he straightened up, flicking blood from the edge of his blades. With zen-like calm he took a step forward and slammed all of his weight on her exposed ribs. The familiar sickening -crunch- of bone broke the silence as her ribcage fully collapsed in on itself.
He took a few steps back and looked over the destruction. Her face was mostly intact and clean save for a tiny trickle of blood down her chin and a swollen eye. The rest of her body was unrecognizeable as anything humanoid though. The clothes she had opted to wear instead of real armor was stained with blood and mud, shredded to ribbons, and she would have been laying there nude if she hadn't been so totally covered in blood. Her body would remain there for all to find, a reminder and warning for any others who may seek him out.
Over the horizon he sensed celestial forces approaching. His eyes closed and his shoulder slumped...time to find another haven. He wiped away Mona's spattered blood from his face and turned away from her corpse. He paused a moment longer, considering the future and what ramifications her attempted assault could have. Then, as he always did, he faced forward, faced the future, bloody and armed to the teeth, shooting off over the horizon until he was little more than a faint twinkle in the sky.
