It was his folly, or perhaps the folly of the Chaos itself, that saw Rocket ignore the telltale signs that all was not normal. Lightning crackled around them, a herald of the chaotic power that was slamming into Samara with each strike. At least that's what Rocket decided it was. By the time he realised what was happening, Samara was already swinging her stave like a baseball bat to send the lightning directly at him. The wave of overpressure that advanced on Rocket arrived just as he exploded outwards with energy, viscous teal-blue goo covering the arena that the duo found themselves in. Power governors at the edge tried their utmost to contain the energy but were moving quickly towards burnout as the clash between two titans reached a crescendo. The shockwave from the sudden eruption of power from Rocket's form was sufficient to dissipate that which was sent by Samara.
The goo seemed to vaporise into a misty haze that obscured all vision within the area for several moments until it disappeared inexplicably, only to be replaced with cackling laughter from the epicentre of the explosion. Strangely, the cackling had an ethereal, all around the area feeling - almost as though it was coming from several places at once.
"I thought you had me with that one," Rocket responded through the cackling, waving like a maniac from several places all around Samara. The sound would make much more sense now, because there WERE multiple Rockets. The cackling turned quickly into a string of swear words as the Prime Rocket saw the buzz-saw of ki heading straight for him. This was a MUCH more powerful version of his own kienzan and he didn't have enough left in him to get out of the way, or to cancel this one out with an explosive finale of his own. Particles covering his body rippled and hardened, appearing as shiny black dragon scales under the artificial light that blanketed the area. Like an armadillo, Rocket curled up in an attempt to steer the disc through his flank instead of splitting him in half as it appeared to want to. He was ... moderately successful. The disc ripped through his side, tearing the bonds between his nanoparticles asunder and leaving him with a hole that refused to completely knit shut.

”Almost,” Samara agreed in the end, accepting her attack hadn’t taken as much out of the synthetic creature as she liked. She smiled though, noting the lingering hole in his body. It seemed his reformation did have its limits. How much further could she push them? How much further could she push herself?
"Do let me know when you want to stop~" she said in an almost teasing tone, and then she kicked hard off the ground, sending herself flying towards the wounded raccoon.
Once more the ice staff glowed a dangerous white as the see through quality misted over. She gripped the end of the weapon and once more forced the haft into a tiny but fast spin as it struck straight forward at Rocket’s body, at least where it was still holding together. The ice was burning cold, sticking to his wet goo like flesh like a tongue to a rod. She turned, taking the weapon with her before it jumped to her other hand and jolted upwards this time, aiming under the android’s chin in a knock your block off fashion, the shock of impact matching the shock of cold. Sensitive teeth would not have a fun day of it.
She stepped in further, unrelenting as Her palms slid along the weapon to increase its spin again. She kept to and in a fluid motion she once more struck out in hopes of sending the ice crushing into his body to take the wind right out of him.
The dread that had started to calm dredged up once more, covering the battle field in heavy energy as Samara’s own power grew. It sunk into the edges of consciousness demanding action. Panic or fall apart. Combined with this unending onslaught, would the woe turn into hopelessness?

"You know," began Rocket in response to her request that he let her know when he was ready to stop. He looked down at his form, at the jagged gash running through his side and the inert material pouring from the wound like blood. Unfortunately he hesitated too much and she was upon him once more. Perhaps she thought it a ruse that he started talking or perhaps she just genuinely didn't hear him. Nevertheless, pummel him she did. With the amount of damage that he had sustained, coupled with the fact that his form wasn't really stopping anything from hitting him anymore, each strike caused his body to begin solidifying the the cold energy that was being transferred from the staff to him. When she was done at last, all but Rocket's head was frozen solid.
He toppled over, shattering into frozen pieces and leaving just his head and upper body intact. As he surveyed the scene in front of him, Rocket couldn't help but laugh.
"I think we're done here. Could you do me a solid? Collect me in a bucket or something and drop me at the factory. Thanks."

Would it be quicker to use a vacuum? That seemed very disrespectful. She bent down to see how durable the slime remained and it wasn’t quite liquid. She could probably pick it up with itself like the slime elementary schoolers made. She reached into her pocket that tied her to a pocket dimension and removed satchel and started gathering him, using one glob to stick up some before depositing it in the bag. ”Your design is pretty amazing though. It seems I need to get back with the Galactic Science Association. I’ve missed out on some crazy developments.”If Damaskia let her, she’d probably stay at the factory to see exactly how he was repaired.
