Joseph Meets Mona[3 spars][Alliance/Gem/Discord/Complete]

Shortly after Joseph popped back on Earth he decided to go to a forest where he did a number of Katas and practiced his ki control. After finishing the exercises Joseph decided to take a break and go to the Astral realm. He emerged in what appeared to be a Yaidratian city. He sat down and meditated while waiting for someone to join him.

Mona appeared on earth in her astral dreamlike state and was looking for joseph. She thought he'd be back at home.

Mona arrived at Joseph's house and started looking around but all she saw that was of note was someone in a white spandex suit that looked like it had webbing on it. Joseph Wiltshire | Rem

If she reached out to feel his energy or used her crystal ball she'd find Joseph sitting on a rock in front of a waterfall in a trance as his consciousness was in the astral realm. Within the noncorporal plan Joseph was still meditating.

Mona was intent on watching this strange spandexed figure as within moments it'd gone from standing around to shooting some thick white substance from its wrist. It then yanked on the web and took off into the air. Odd.

Mona then reached out and said hi to joseph

<Oh hey Mona. Where are you now? I'm on earth in forest meditating.> Joseph then left the Astral realm and woke up his real body. He got up and did some stretches.

"I'm outside your front door," she said. " Did ya want to meet up or something?"

"Sure," Joseph said before putting his fingers to his forehead before instantly teleporting to Mona in front of his front door.

"Hmmm, do you want to go fight someone? I'm sure if we spend enough time out we'll run into some villain."

"Oh sure that sounds like fun! In fact I saw someone that gave off some spider vibes not too far from here. We should go check them out!" Joseph Wiltshire | Rem

"Really? Where did they go. Are they strong? I've fought an Android named Spider before, but he didn't really do any Spider stuff. Come on lets go find the Spider person."

"Fuck if I know! Race you there!"

Mona zoomed off in a flurry of bubbles and within thirty seconds they'd see a white suited spider person shooting web out they hands and immobilizing some robbers.



"Hey you, what's your deal?" Mona asked the person.



"I'm fighting crime, isn't that obvious?" she responded



"That's a neat little thing you got going on there. How do you use that technique?" Mona asked



"Oh this? I got bitten by a special spider and now I have spider powers." she said back.



"That's interesting..." Mona said curiously. She took a swab of the webbing with a finger and then started casting a spell on it.

"Race? You're on." Joseph kicked off into a dash quickly talking behind Mona. When he got to a road and had a healthy amount of space from cars and buildings he kicked up his speed and a sonic boom echoed through the City as he became blur.



His speed was immense even for his level of power, most had to go to great lengths to match or surpass it, like in the cases of Aria and Mazikeen using methods that greatly reduced their mythic fortitude to increase their speed.



He made it to the scene in a little over 20 seconds. He skid his feet to stop himself and shortly after he did a trail of dust rose and followed behind after the ground had a moment to register his speed. "I win"



"Are you a superhero? You don't see too many outside the states. What other powers do you have?" Joseph looked over to Mona as she started casting magic on the webbing she picked up.

Mona kept to herself for a while while the spider person responded, "I can cling to surfaeces, shoot organic webbing, I have super powerful sensory abilities, and I'm pretty strong. It's not all too special compared to people flying around and shooting out energy beams but it's still fun for me to handle low level crime."



Mona grinned and turned around. "This genetic specimen is too much to let go. Consider yourself impounded for further study."



She put both her hands out and released a flash of light from them which blinded the spider person while Mona rushed at her.

"Wow that's so cool. I usually deal with street level stuff unless someone that needs assitance with something bigger asks me help them." Then Mkns



Then suddenly Mona grinned and said that the specimen was too much to let go. "Wait what?" Mona assaulted the woman with a flash of light and rushed at her. "Too much to let go? Mona, we spent a month with gods." Joseph was so stunned at this Yakumo level zeal and inpulsuvity he didn't act immediately. "You can't just kidnap somebody. Its wrong, illegal, and bad for the brand of our association. "

The spider girl was quick to react. She put her palms together and a giant stream of webbing shot forth. Mona ran right towards the webbing and despite Joseph's warnings decided to press on. He did complicate things because she couldn't be the "bad guy" here. She froze time right before being hit and then swerved around so that she would be right behind the spider person.



She charged her hands with magical energy that she intended to use on the spider person but as she moved her hands towards the person's shoulder the shoulder moved just far away from Mona to miss.



"The fuck?" Mona thought. She tried again, and again, but the spider person's body just kept dodging out of the way and then immediately freezing when it wasn't in danger anymore.



Time unfroze and Mona knelt on the ground, clearly exhausted.

Joseph was initially confused at Mona sudden change in location but he quickly realized she most likely used her time stopping ability. He got hit withe web and fell down wrapped like burrito and he struggled against, surprising him with its strength. He gritted his teeth and surged his energy to break free. He got up and looked at the seemingly suddenly exhausted Mona. "Uhhhh," Joseph looked up towards the woman in white. "I'm sorry for partner," he usually didn't deem it his place to apologize for someone else but she was in an association he ran(ran as in the most technical sense). Plus he hoped it would help keep Mona from being taken to the big house"Please don't press charges or take her to jail. She's my friend and I don't have that many."

The spider person just shook its head and zipped off.



"It defeated my time freeze! That was annoying. I just have to get a hold of some of that DNA!" Mona said

"Wow, I've never seen someone do that before. I gotta find her and fight her at some point. Wait do you want it to use her DNA to get Spider powers like you used Vegeta's to get a Saiyans abilities?"

"Speaking of that. You said you didn't know much about science but replicating Vegeta's DNA and becoming a Saiyan and extracting mutations sound like scientific processes. How do you do those things?"

"I was pretty sure it was that and thought you'd be more specific but ok. That does sound awesome though, using the DNA of other types of beings and enhancing yourself. I'd try it but I'd rather be my natural self and advance myself by training, man the idea is so cool though. Maybe she'd let you sample her if you ask nicely and explain why, or pay her."

"hehe. Magic is unexplainable like that. If I understood it all it'd just be science! Don't you remember when we trained at king kai's place? Traditional training is soooo not me.
