Reading in the Grand library had basically become the most important past time for Ur'Alcyonis, going through multiple books, manuscripts and scrolls, dozens of tomes and grimoires over the course of the several weeks he had already spent on the planet. This day was no different, as he anxiously tried to fill in the gaps that existed within his memory, gaps and lapses created by the fact that in his state as a parasite, as nothing more than a soul without a body to truly call his own, it sometimes could take decades, even centuries to reawaken and see the passing of time with his own consciousness. It was truly a curse he had to contend with, but at least by reading through such a vast number of informative and historical works, the Primeval could allow himself the satisfaction of knowing about things, people and events he would normally not be aware of. A former host of his had been through several damaskian wars, the great war and he himself could still clearly remember the Paladin Rebellion, but during that war he had been defeated and rendered without a body to call his own once more, forcing the ancient being into a slumber which had lasted a decade. It appeared that in that decade many things had happened outside his knowledge. Things such as at least two more wars that spanned beyond even the borders of the galaxy the primeval curently resided in, the war with the Fallen Empire and more. It was all quite the interesting read for him, considering it meant that in the time he had been in his dormant state, the universe had not been at peace at all, proving to the Primeval that in the end it was in the very nature of all living things, be they mortal or immortal, to wage war and to engage in endless conflict. Leaning backwards in the chair he was sitting in, Ur'alcyonis let out a sigh and raised his right hand towards his forehead, combing through his silver-coloured hair with his fingers as he closed his eyes for a moment. "Not even time itself..."Placing a small book he had been holding and reading back on the table littered with dozens of pieces of reading material, the silver-haired man could only let out another sigh and not his head in disagreement with what he had been reading. There had been some wild speculation of people appearing beyond the boundaries of time itself, standing up against threats beyond the span of mortal life. It was rather annoying for someone like himself to read this, considering if there was perhaps one power he would've dreamt of having, it would have been the ability to not just control, but warp and weave time itself to his very needs. After all, if he could control time, if he could jump from one moment in time to another, irrespective of what or when, he would be able to prevent the most disastrous moment in his entire 'life'...his first true loss. Reaching for a cup of coffee which had been prepared for him and which he did need after such a lengthy stay at the library, Ur'alcyonis took the cup by the handle, gently blowing at the hot liquid before taking a sip. "Now that...would be an interesting change of pace..."

Post by Middy Midnight [Elite] on Apr 3, 2022 15:47:14 GMT -5
Seconds later, midnight woke up in his barracks, he was suprised and waiting for his mission. Midnight was in the space pod, heading to a planet which had him on taking an assessment, the saiyan elite now landing on said planet. The war order was taking longer then planned, it was a serious mission.
Soon he landed on the planet, crashing down into a rocky outcrop and these were the landing coordinates.
He then landed in a cushion which expanded then lessened with the saiyan warrior elite coming out of the pod and was in his base form.
He came out and saw the alien, animal and humanoid workers going around with their daily tasks.
He was here to be assessed to see where he stood as an elite class warrior who was officially reconized by the saiyan royals, the saiyan nobles, the overlords and the saiyan throne, crown & the saiyan king, (This was going to be tough,)
Midnight thought to himself, (From what i heard this guy is a ball buster, he was in the mantis elites but got kicked out, he hated weakness more then any saiyan in the empire except i hate weakness more and won't tollerate myself being outclass and out powered by any opponent)
He was now walking down the hallway. "Where's that stairwell, there is a sublevel for elite testing in this sub-level."
He found the stairwell and went down the steps until he got to the lower floor B2 which was where he was told to go.
He walked inside and a saiyan stood there waiting to greet him. "Hello Midnight, the elite saibaman room is right this way."
He walked with the saiyan until he entered a keycode and opened a door which the saiyan elite went into.
Midnight now entered the saiba-man room and was at 75% of full power, wearing his saiyan elite gear with special gloves made by capsule corps which increase hitting damage along with his spiked mantle on the top of the armor with his shield on his right arm, his wrist in a strap and his right hand gripping a bar on the inside of the shield which was annointed by the blood and tears of a celestial named Axle, a celestial of dueling who trained heros to be strong and superior in battle.
He also wore Capsule Corps utility pants to have storage because he was a soilder/warrior, mercenaries were frowned upon from the saiyan empire.
They work for money, relistate and tools, pretty much a form of currency or a power they never had which they would be rewarded.
This was the time of testing and midnight was ready.
He fought saibamen before so he had to get ready to survive this trial, they were so hard; the rites of passage.
But if he did this right, he could get an audience to join the Mantis Elites, a strong saiyan team of elites that work as the overlords fist to the face and his boot to the ass of the enemy.
This trial was going to be hard, this is a Imperial base where the imperials train, this elite is now an imperial to the overlord.
The door closed as he was inside and the lights came on, red lights as slots in the floor opened and was sandy.
The lights glowed red light individually under the four sandy slots in the open floor and soon black saibamen which were shorty size got out of the ground.
They pulled themselves out of the ground and stood up, now getting ready to fight.
A voice came over the intercom, "Welcome Midnight to the first phase of the assessment. Your an elite so elite saibamen are just right for you to fight. As you can see, the lights increase the elite saibamen's powerlevel to the point where there at a battle fighting power of five hundred and forty five thousand. Now begin!"
The four saibamen now rushed forward with midnight throwing his shield and nailed one in the head which fell back, extending his right hand to grab the shield and fired a volley of blasts from the left palm discharging burst fire of two blasts each towards all three of the charging elite saibamen which they deflected both all three and the one midnight hit was getting up.
Midnight now powered up and rushed in with a shield jab to the head with ki infused in the shield, breaking the elite saibamen's skull and stomping on the body with weight behind the stomp, breaking the body hard. The three remaining saibaman now rushed in with claw strikes to the body, midnight had his shield up and all three attacked, clawing at the shield and sparks coming off of the metals of said shield. He threw a powerful blast at one of the saibamen, causig him to blow up and was in pieces on the floor. The two elite saibas now meged into one and turned into a saiba-brute.
The intercom now came on. "This is the second phase defeat the saiba-brute no transformations" Midnight scaned the saiba-brute and he got a battle fighting power of seven hundred and thirty five thousand. "Hrm, i'll enjoy this, murdering this creature will bring satiifaction of success."
He stood and stared down this saiba-brute and clenced his shield grip. "I'm going all out to beat this monster without a transformation since i'm more then just a shield and i'm more then just a soilder. I'm elite class and i'm going to prove it to all of you watching." He said proudly.
The intercom spoke. "Very well. Begin!"
Midnight now saw the saiba-brute come in hard with a hard punch to the chest which his shield guarded and he grounded the force so far down that the ground cracked around him, a circle made crushed. He saw it launch many punches and with his speed, held his shield by his side and moved out of harms way of the strikes while in refined super saiyan.
He kept moving with skill and speed as kicks and punches were flying down from the elite saiba-brute as midnight fired an energy beam through his shield and pinned him to the wall before it exploded on his body, He shot forward and midnight hurled his shield at him and nailed him in his skull.
The shield coming back with the warrior firing a energy beam towards midnight who channeled energy through his sheild and batted it away, now forming a ball quickly in his left hand and swiping it towards the evolved saibaman which discharged a trap shooter like attack which landed on the evolved saibaman and pinned him to the wall with middy shooting forward in an orange aura and preforming a shield jab to the throat of the saibaman. This hit and put him in it's place, dropping him down to the ground with a broken neck. The assessment was over and he passed, now with a grin, he ran out of the room and went to the outside. This was the moon base of Valhalla and this was the end of his assessment. Now entering his space pod, he headed to planet meat because he got orders that there was a saiyan elite who has attacked his own men while trainng on planet meat and defeated them, the majin mark was on his fore head and this was a serious mission if he was sending in midnight. Now closing the hatch he set in a course to planet meat which was a planet in the southern quadrant of space it was near Avalon's solar system but it was saiyan empire own for the vangard units made by elites to train, this being a saiyan warrior elite exclusive training planet. As he left the atmosphere and orbit, midnight went to catch a nap. his super saiyan form not coming off for it was refined and no strain. His arrival time was 30 minutes. This really was something, he passed his assessment against elite saibamen and the evolved saibaman; life was good to the saiyan soilder and he was making his way back to the planet Valhalla, this planet was a strong planet for the saiyan empire, now a temporary home to the saiyan king until the saiyan army got the planet back. THis was the main reason the assessments were being done. To get the planet back what ever means nessessary regardless of how. An hour passed and Midnight's space pod crashed into a puffed up cushion and he then came out after the cushion self deflated. He was done for the time being, working himself like a work horse every night and day to the point that he was having dreams of being hunted down. This was disconcerning for the quazi-immortal. The years were catching up to him and even though he was younger then his mom and dad as one of many siblings. His older brothers were witchdoctor and Killa-snips. He loved his brothers and joined the army after he was seeing them as saiyan elites. They were twins and were 400 years old where midnight was only 256 years old, His birthday was coming up and it was just one of those days. As he was walking down the hallway, he wondered how his brothers would act if he was in the war which they retired from. For now they were super elites and were much stronger then midnight in base power. It was the way of the saiyans to get stronger through pain and suffering. That was the way it always was. It never ended, there was always something to fight and some injustice to battle. He was a bully in school and in the empire for awhile as a neutral aligned warrior but now through his lived experience he was a hero to the saiyan since that's what he tried to be. Training to hold the line and survive suicide missions that he wanted to go on by himself, he wanted this to take it to the kolds directly like they took planet vegeta. He was so pissed off that he could scream but he continued walking down the hallway, making a left then sitting down in a chair relaxing his muscles in a lazyboy. 1719/1719 Revan Edit Note: Added some extra words in a spoiler tag to better accommodate the thread.

In his ship, the android was readying himself for the captain’s challenge that the council was arranging to prove he could be worthy of the honor, a suitably major undertaking but still something that was within the android’s projected capabilities. A thunk on his head happened “oww” he said more in reflex due to lack of preparedness than genuine manner of pain he looked at the cardboard box that fell out of a storage compartment that fell out of his conscious AI memory and out fell anti aged, and anti decay treated his military outfit he joined the protectorate and all the sig he got from defending earth and evacuating the people, he was a bit late to the metal awarding, so he did not get the ribbons of protectorate earth defense he was owed, but he was too occupied by processing all the costs of the victory they squeezed out to attend that day. Still, he had high honors and got all the promotions the war offered an example to the defender he would become, a golden journeyman he looked at his golden paladin frame, he since had it platinum’d tho kept some of its golden zones to compliment the look keeping it all chrome metallic texture/ coloration type. He updated the internal circuitry of the linking armor so all he would have to do is dawn the armor and his new knight emboldened gold sig Vlad would have to request an armorer evaluation of what the full suit would offer since the upgrades to the integrative software. Sure it was not quite a battle body frame, it was equivalent of an android putting on armor that linked with his systems rather than a power armor that had its own power supply as an organic would likely wear it, and no doubt few years a common full suit of paladin armor likely only falls short of this ceremony suit in lacking added functions like the gold sig nano bots that offer a one time per engagement emergency maintenance but is otherwise rather identical to the typical sig. Still, part of the synth wanted to break the armor in. although, it did make for a mighty fetching museum piece in his trophies room.
Jack walked in and was hugged by his creation. "Are you well, my son?” “Yes, just feeling a bit of nostalgia… in a positive way in spite of the great trials those times brought.” he sighed, “yes for you and me both. The aftermath has had me fight off assassination attempts and spikes in raids as AI experts made quite convenient scapegoats, as did pro android individuals… I being both had to be evacuated… repeatedly,” he was held closer as his nano fiber coated bones braced a slight bit to it still safe but clearly an “I wish i could have prevented that” hug “But our allies and friends seen us through and the protectorate replaced any lost tech as the federation helped allies doing all manner of helpful assistance even to AI and robotics experts non-affiliated with the fallen defense organization, I was indirectly associated, or distant third party joined by wish to aid earth technologically.”

Time had ticked by slowly and the Prince had found himself drifting through with little on his mind. Ever since he had discovered his new power he had been at a loss. Should he change his ways, should he continue on the path of war? Questions that he refused to answer at the moment. However, the Prince did understand that like any other problem, the answer was to allow himself time to relax, let the answer come to him, and then he would make his decision. So that was exactly how he went about his day, which eventually turned into days, and then weeks. But, as stated, time ticked by slowly. With each passing day he found himself in a slump, unwilling to answer the question that ate away at his heels, unwilling to think even a moment about it, but at the same time he was plagued by it. Like an infection the questions began to plant themselves inside his mind and they surely began to spread. Upon the Saiyan Dreadnaught, gifted to him for his achievements on a distant planet, Vegeta sat against the commander's chair. His eyes were closed, head tilted back against the soft cushion, and his breathes were slow. " How long has it been?" The Saiyan Prince muttered under his breathe as he sighed and forced himself to sit upright. The question he mumbled fell on deaf ears as the crew worked meticulously piloting the ship back to Earth from Valhalla. All the power he had gained granted him nothing except an emptiness that he had wished to fulfill. But it wasn't supposed to be this way. No, it was supposed to be different. Things were supposed to improve- he was meant to have fulfillment. Yet why was there still emptiness within him? Why was 'that' hole still there? A heart sinking sigh escaped his lips as he hung his head until the muscles in his back screamed for relief. " What am I to do now?" He asked once more out loud in a voice that was barely audible. Faced with the dilemma of power and no more aspirations the Saiyan Prince remained silent in his chair with one desire- a challenge. Only time would tell if he was fortunate to get his wish.... 379 / 379

Training never really ended. Shell knew his greatest threat was still at large. Pierce existing and always finding new ways to challenge him was always going to keep the Namekian on his toes. He couldn’t kill Pierce as it would end his own life, he knew the goal of the evil side of his divine power was looking to fuse with him in order to unite the powers under his mind. Shell had to keep training, had to keep working in order to stop that from ever truly coming to fruition. It constantly drove him to be his best.
He had people to protect. His own planet was not able to have him because of the curse Grand Zeno had put on his power, but the Universe was a different thing altogether. Shell was focused on making it a better place, removing harmful aspects of it, and protecting those that needed his help.
The Seer couldn’t forget what it was like when he was younger. Just a child, gifted with the ability to heal, but seeing his people devastated by the galactic war and eventually the steel legion. It had left a massive impression on his life and sent him down the path he was currently on. He couldn’t ignore that past, no matter how much some people wanted to rewrite or forget what had happened, it wasn’t the case in his mind. The details were still fresh, almost haunting him, while driving him to constantly keep improving as well. It was the only way to be able to make sure something like that would never happen again, at least as much as he could control it.
He knew the heroic warriors from the Avalon Protectorate and what they had done to help him in his youth. He also understood that the RBC units that ended up forming the legion were part of the defense plans that the Protectorate had as well. Corrupted, changed, altered, poorly designed; whatever it was he knew that even the heroic organization that had saved him as a child, was still not perfect. It was why he had fought so hard to build up his own standing with them, he had become the guardian of Avalon and had moved to become one of the most influential beings the organization amongst them. No one was perfect, not even himself, but he had to do what he could to help and do his very best.
He was done with his work for the day. His gear put away and it was time to head back to his home for a night of calm and relaxation. Many masters had told him, that he couldn’t train all the time, he had to be rested as well and keep his body from suffering too much. It was about perfecting the technique, not overpowering it.
He put on his sunglasses, the AURORA system gifted to him by his friend Brianne before she returned to her home Universe. It was almost moments after he did so, that they began to beep. Someone had to have been monitoring him to contact him so quickly after he put on the glasses. He looked around quickly to see if anyone was actually watching him, before understanding what it had to have been. Divine requests…
He didn’t have the best relationship with the divine of the Universe. Zeno had cursed his bloodline; the Supreme Kai of Time had been able to have been corrupted or copied or something and caused issues for him and he questioned where the actual Supreme Kai was. At least Whis had given him the ability to work on his powers and while Lord Beerus tended to ignore the Namekian, he wasn’t always the worst to be around either. Still they were the God of Destruction and his Attendant, so it wasn’t like Shell had a great adoration for either of them too.
The request came in simple. The Supreme Kai of Time was requesting assistance with an incident in the Time Line. Some corruption, some power at work that had changed history. He was ready to ignore it all together after previous interactions he had with her, but when the message mentioned the Steel Legion, Unit 5k and the RBC Units, the Namekian knew he couldn’t ignore this call. He sighed; it was time to get his combat gear; he couldn’t let a part of history that impacted him so much actually end up changed if the message was real. If that timeline was corrupted somehow, then he knew his work was going to be cut out for him.

His feet were kicked up against a solid dark walnut table. Heels digging into the grain of wood after each steady click of his boots. From his lips hung a tiny tooth pick, flicking left and right as his tongue continued to fidget. " Well come on, I don't have all day!" Knives barked, a single eye locked onto the man that sat across from him from behind his orange glasses. "Right..." Sweat dripped from the informant's brow as his hand lifted and slipped a finger into the tightly buttoned collar of his shirt. With a small pull and a gulp he then continued. "I heard rumors of the man you're looking for, but it's just word of mouth..." His thick accent made the words stretch out longer than they were meant to be spoken, but Knives didn't mind it too much, it was unique. " Anddddd?" He mocked, extended his own speech to match that of the man's, just a bit more dramatically. "And he's left Damaskia, that's all I got, I swear!" He said, cowering back in his seat slightly and raising his hands to demonstrate he was all out of information. " No clue where he is going?" Knives asked once more, turning his head slightly and spitting out the toothpick. With a tiny 'ting' the informant's attention was pulled into a different direction. There, where a picture was hanging against his wall of him and his family, the toothpick had landed directly into one of his eye sockets. "Hey hey hey, look man, I told you all I got!" He said, pushing himself back from the seat. " Alright, fine, but if I find out you were lying...." Knives pointed back to the photo on the wall as he stood up. " I'll find you." As he made his way out of the office he was immediately greeted by the stench of cheap booze, cigars, and a unmistakable body odor. Turning his head to look at the bartender he flashed a wide grin. "I'll be seeing you!" He said, giving a final nod of departure before taking off toward the door. As he left he could hear the panicked footsteps of the rat. He could hear the shift of papers and the metallic click of a round going into a chamber. He wasn't sure if the man was going to come out 'guns blazing' but he wasn't too worried. Knives had been in the game for too long, he developed instincts- more accurately he developed the ability to calculate people's actions. If the rat did decide to come out then he would be dead on sight, but the gun was most likely for protection, at least the feeling of being protected. Regardless the Maelstrom of Misfortune continued to walk back to his place of residence. There was no new information regarding his target's whereabouts and no new leads regarding the target's intentions. All he could do was sit back and wait for the answers to come to him. After all, asking questions was bond to bring out a snake or two hidden in the grass. 514 / 514

Pagoma was just a preteen during the Galactic War, growing up on Planet Valhalla. He remembers the adult Saiyans at Overlord Luther's camp being sent to war and the sudden appearance of RBC Units. Then one day, without notice, the RBC Units all stopped working. Pagoma was young and the Saiyans on Valhalla didn't care to update him on the details. But Pagoma knew that something was amiss. That event felt like it had more significance than Overlord Luther was letting on. After the war, a lot less Saiyans returned than left the planet of Valhalla when it started. The younger warriors training on the planet were left with the task of cleaning up hundreds of RBC Units. There were hundreds of them scattered across the planet, heavily concentrated in areas like Overlord Luther's base camp. Pagoma wasn't trained to do much more than generate a few sparks with his Ki back then, so most of the work was done manually. Being the only Changeling in his dormitory certainly didn't help. Pagoma got stuck doing most of the work.
Present day, Pagoma was floating in space in his Starship, somewhere between the planets controlled by the Planetary Trade Organization. He had been completing some minor, various tasks for Master Frost, when something rather peculiar happened...

Post by Joseph Wilson on Apr 5, 2022 19:38:33 GMT -5
After his classes were done for the day, Joseph decided to spend some time in the location known as Break Wasteland. The boy was mainly looking for a way to pass the time until he was sure Goku would be free to meet him for training or any escapades. Break Wasteland was an area neighboring the region of the Gizard Wasteland. It was an area of simple vegetation, vast grass fields with small flowers and bushes.
Hills and mountains were spread throughout the area. Few mammalian species inhabited the area apart from the occasional Sabertooth tiger. The main species that dominated the region were the dinosaurs, such as the T-Rex, Pterodactyl, and Apatosaurus, among others. The Dinosaurs were the main creatures that Joseph was engaging with.
Joseph stood in front of a T-Rex that was across from him. He looked towards the T-Rex and leaned forward before breaking into a dash jumping up and headbutting the Dinosaur. The impact set off a tremor that made the ground rumble briefly as the Dinosaur fell to the side, making another quake when it hit the ground, where it lied for a moment and got back up as if nothing had happened.
The Dinosaur had a cheerful look as it opened its mouthing, releasing a roar with a tone of gratification. Joseph would sometimes come here and rotate around different dinosaurs, headbutting them, like he did this one. The faster he dashed and rammed into them, the more they liked it. However, even with that positive correlation, Joseph was mindful to hold back to avoid any mishaps. The last thing he wanted was to be responsible for a Dinosaur lying on the ground permanently or suffering any other type of harm.
After he was done headbutting dinosaurs, Joseph took to one of the higher mountains and decided to close his eyes and do some image training. He practiced various techniques and imagined that he was engaging different opponents he had faced in his past.

It had been quite awhile since Goku had some free time. Too long really. His days mainly consisted of helping out in the village and running errands for them, grabbing groceries from South City and magazines (of all kinds) for the villagers. Today he managed to finish his errands early enough to go outside and meet up with his best friend Joseph at the Break Wasteland which was several kilometers from where he lived. As he donned his Turtle Hermit Gi and headed for the door, he was met by his mother who shouted his named.
"Goku!" The Saiyan boy stopped dead in his tracks.
"Yes?" He turned to her and was met with her displeased expression.
"Have you forgotten something?" She crossed her arms.
Goku contemplated for a moment until he finally realized what it was. He approached his mother and pecked her on the cheek and she smiled happily at him.
"Remember Goku, that is a good kiss okay? You only do it for me, no one else. Do you understand?" She said to him.
Goku nodded as if he understood, though what his mother said contradicted the "talk" that Roshi had with him, as well as another experience that he had sworn to keep between the blonde android and himself.
"Yes ma'am," Goku turned to the door and walked out, all the while he waved goodbye to his mother while he did so.
---
The Break Wasteland was home to several different species of wildlife such as dinosaurs, reptiles, insects and arachnids alike. Most people aside from the most seasoned of hunters, explorers, and thrill seekers even stepped foot within the wasteland due to how treacherous it was. But for someone like Goku it might as well had been a vacation. He had reached the Wasteland by flight but once he descended he spotted a T-Rex and opted to sit atop of its head in order to ride it. At first the wild beast thrashed about but Goku grabbed the beast by its skull and dug his nails into its skin. Although the beast screeched and continued to resist Goku was able to redirect it forcibly towards the direction of a mountain top where he sensed Joseph's Ki signature.
The T-Rex trekked the mountain until it reached the summit, and it was there that Goku laid eyes on Joseph who had appeared to have been meditation. With a wide smile plastered on his visage Goku shouted "Hey Joseph!" As he hopped off of the T-Rex and before he reached the ground, he landed a devastating round house kick to the back of the creature's skull, causing it to lay lifelessly on the ground beside them both.
"Look, I took care of dinner," Goku said with a smile.

The multiverse was a frightening concept. It wasn't a phenomenon meant to be understood, nor did it adhere to any one set of universal laws. Even the Supreme Kai of Time had trouble understanding it, sometimes. Were there other versions of her, calling other versions of time patrollers to assist her? It was impossible to know. What she did know was that there were an infinite amount of mirror galaxies in the multiverse, each one differing ever-so-slightly. A mortal could spend a lifetime in some and never notice a difference. They could just as easily get lost in others, struggling to recognize even the simplest of symbols. Each of these mirrored galaxies originated from a singular alpha timeline, and for every decision made, a new timeline splintered. This formed an alternate reality; a universe that is exactly the same, except for where the split happened. These splits can happen in the new universe as well, compounding and expanding infinitely for an incomprehensible amount of universes. This is the natural function of creation.
Yet, some have found ways to traverse these timelines. And for every core moment in the timeline, a junction where time itself could be shifted would lay dormant, undisturbed. Shifting these temporal junctions was... problematic.
Artificially splintering reality by time travel was an issue, as it added a foreign element, trickling across other timelines more than what is natural, adding more to infinity. Unbridled creation, without destruction to keep it in check. This feat was normally reserved only for the Supreme Kais. As a safeguard, it was forbidden, though the Supreme Kai of Time also knew that small changes were nothing to worry about. For every temporal action, there was an equal reaction. Time would push back against attempts to change it. It wanted to happen, as if it was a living, breathing entity. Insignificant changes would be set straight, like an ephemeral immune system. For example, if a mortal went back in time to win the lottery, they might be mugged almost immediately after.
But a temporal junction?
Despite all these small changes compounding into infinite futures, each timeline was within 98% similarity to another. These strings of time coiled around their original timeline, forming a sort of rope. No amount of tinkering with the past would be enough to shift the string around a new original timeline... with the exception of a temporal junction. These were key moments in the universe's history that were recorded in the Scrolls of Eternity. These events were knots on the rope of time; a knot could be undone, loosening the rope's grip, and unraveling the timeline completely. Any change here, no matter how insignificant, would have drastic effects.
It was the Supreme Kai of Time's duty to ensure these junctions remained undisturbed and safeguard the universe from abhorrent paradoxes. Woven with a surfeit of strings plucked from the hide of Toki Toki, a deific bird with the power to create time, the Scrolls of Eternity were protected in the temporal fortress known as the Time Nest. To the Supreme Kai of Time's horror, one of the Scrolls began to change. She read through the Scroll, but the letters became blurred and unfocused. Pictures of galactic leaders transformed into unrecognizable figures, and the language it was written in began to change. "Calling all Time Patrollers!" she frantically shouted, using telepathy to broadcast the message to those warriors with the right conditions to hear it. A shimmering luminescence enveloped these warriors, until the harsh light made sight impossible. One by one they would be called by the Supreme Kai of Time, until there were nine. Their souls traveled through the Astral Realm at breakneck pace, a cosmic tunnel into another reality, yet to them it would only feel like flying in a spaceship. "..an you.. ..ear me?" The voice's connection to these warrior's mind began to weaken, like a cell phone that strayed too far from the tower, or whose signal was blocked by interference. The tunnel of light began to shake, and it separated into multiple roads. The summoned Time Patrollers would begin to go their own ways as the voice in their head grew fainter. "..nt b.. ..ight!" They would awaken to a deafening silence, surrounded by a new world.
NOTE: I included some introductory lore in a spoiler tag if you'd like to read it. Otherwise, what is relevant to the thread is posted above. You have been separated into groups, which will be posted below. Please wait for your prompt to be posted before replying. After the prompt, I will list some actions each person can take. You are not limited to these actions, they are just to give some ideas of the options open to you. It'd be best to select which option you're going with at the end of the post, though, as it'd be kind of fun to paint the path we all took at the end. You are weakened, but are still capable of using your fundamental techniques as well as any physicals. This weakness will fade with time. New joins are no longer allowed. Walid can still join this turn if he would like, but please wait for all the prompts to be posted. Any questions, just let me know! I'll get the rest up tomorrow, some stuff came up. Just to note, the group does not have to agree on an action, different people can do different things. Keep replies under 500 words please. The shorter your responses, the quicker I'll reply . Most important part is to just have fun!

Shell and Vlad
The android would be able to count his blessings; he would not feel the headache or the queasiness of the errant Time Travel attempt. However, much like Shell, his power level would be weakened. It was clear something had gone wrong, even if they did not have the reference to know what success would have looked like. For one, that voice was no longer in their mind. And, perhaps more obvious a sign, they were no longer traveling through the Astral Realm. Instead, they would find themselves on Planet Namek. Would they recognize the look of the grassy fields, lakes, and trees? It would be difficult to miss the sight of the Asija fruit growing.
Though, if they had any questions, they could have been fielded to the Paladin standing over them. "You lot okay?" His voice was wary, and his hand rested upon his sword. He was not offering them a hand to stand up, but he was also not attacking them, so karma evened itself out. "There's no time to gather your bearings. Avalon is launching its counterattack, and I've been sent to evacuate a village of Namekians. Come with me, before-".
Whatever suggestion the Paladin was going to offer, his gruff voice was cutoff by a stray laser from a rifle. It missed, instead colliding against the branch of an overhead tree. The wood broke off and sizzled. "Oh, great." The Paladin withdrew his sword from its sheath and entered a combat stance. "Ganr smiled favorably upon you this day, my friends. Stay behind me. You can even run ahead to the village, if you're fast enough."
The lasers came more frequently and missed by less and less distance, until finally, it came into view: a squad of three Shadowguard Shock Troopers.
1) Flee to the village 2) Stay behind the Paladin 3) Fight the Shock Troopers
Note: In your weakened state, you have access to 3 fundamentals as well as physical combos. You cannot fly.

The Namekian found himself brought through the riggers of time movement. It was strange, but in a way very similar to heading into the Astral Realm. Shell had plenty of skill with that and due to some interactions with others in the past had even learned how to control where he would turn out. His trips to that realm now were always much more convenient now because of that. No longer would he turn out in some strange place that annoyed him.
That wasn’t overly important here though. As the broken-up signal came through first, he traveled through the rift and then he arrived, the Namekian knew right away that he was on Namek. How would he not know his home when he saw it. Also, before him stood a bold hero, bravely standing before him offering them a hand up. How had he ended up on the ground? He looked around quickly, seeing an old friend Vlad as well. Was this a time traveled version of the Android or the version of this machine from the time of the Galactic war? Another question that he didn’t know the answer to.
As the energy blast came in, Shell moved quickly into a fighting stance. Well as quickly as he could considering he felt some kind of suppression on his overall power. He didn’t know how powerful he was at this point and what he could truly do, but what he did know was then a fight was about to break out.
”AURORA systems are not online at this point in history. I can try to see what I can find out, but for now I’m a common scouter. I’ll see what I can learn though.” His AI said to him.
Shell saw the shock troopers approaching. He didn’t know his objective here, but he knew he wasn’t going to be a victim this time around. He stepped up next to the brave paladin. A flick of his hands and the healing staff of the Grand Elder appeared. At his hips were still his sword and whip, but for now the Staff would likely be his best bet until her realized just what he was capable of doing with this suppression.
”I won’t be running away. I’m here to fight!” Shell didn’t boldly wear his Protectorate rank on his normal clothes, instead using his clothes manipulation to make him look much less protected that he actually was.
He moved into a fighting stance, looking at Vlad to see if the Android recognized him or not. If he did, then likely he had traveled here as well. If he didn’t, then he didn’t want to let him know that he knew the Android. How time travel worked was really not something he understood and he didn’t want to cause some change that would ultimately shift the tides of battle. For now, he just wanted to win.

In a moment he seemed to glow and power down, but on the table was a sigil that Jack would notice from Vlad’s tales, the sigil of the time patrollers. 'Emotional ride' would be fair to call it as he went from shocked and horrified his son crashed to enraged and confused what caused it with no signs, and then relief. Granted this was a new method for them but guessing it’s more urgent. He, without further reactions, plugged Vlad’s body in to monitor.
With the synthetic consciousness, Vlad awoke in an area that his olfactory sent booting up first quickly matched the unique atmosphere compositions and genes in the environment, he intook the genetic make-up in line with genetic samples of plants native to Namek. His eyes opened, and he rose to a seated position, noticing something… different, he was in his old body that was devastated in acquiring 2 . 0, The synthetic skin on him registered higher clarity of touch sensors than he had been used to. “oh, feels like so far back since I had this highly detailed touch sensory…” he pulled his long hair that was green tinted cyan. All that registered in a hand full of seconds a fair deal longer than it would have in his prior body but still as electrical synthetic biomimetic neural nets operate many times quicker than natural organics it made sense he managed that before the paladin came, did not take long for Vlad to recognize those were model armor from a few years back the improving with rank signant has not been engineered yet.
Vlad looked at shell <pleased to see you, friend> Vlad thought, giving him an ‘I remember you’ grin as his black box memory pulled up the heroic Shell an inspirational figure whose time to inspire had not come to its full splendor yet.
“I signed on with the protectorate to help people and help I shall do my best to” he went to Shell’s side looking indeed more human like than the upgrades he had gotten over the years left him, a coat lined with insulated fabrics and carbon nano reinforcement where before was just a blue chest of uniquely treated highly augmented synthetic titanium and ballistic weaved heavy combat rubber where metal was not. Now he looked like a late adolescent teen with odd hair and eye color but would be none the wiser if one did not focus on the eyes to note subtle camera nature, touch the skin to feel skin quite colder than a living human body gets, or bio sensitive sensing would see a bio mimetic presence in machinery no biological presence.
The android did not fully grasp the ramifications of time travel so many conflicting sci fi sources to what so little as stepping on an insect that was not squished yet could do or others that an organic being could become their own grandpa/grandma and not do lasting damage to the time stream at all, shell was however quite the smart one and intuitive if nothing else he felt sure affirming his position with the protectorate would show him as an ally, maybe his intuition could gauge his lucid gaze as the knowing awareness of a time traveler in spite of his electronic eyes not giving much hint to what is going on in his mind, safe to say in spite of the neurological on par with human status of androids of Vlad’s type they had a hard to match built in poker face.
“Let us drive these enemies back!”

Hal, Knives, Middy
The trio of Ur'Alcyonis, Midnight, and Knives would be the next group to awaken. Cold would nip at their nose, ears, and fingers. The wind whipped across the frozen plateau, carrying the frigid chill like a slap to the face with each gust. In their weakened state, this was not the ideal place to be. The only other indication of life here was a voice. Though, to who, nobody could say for certain. "Arise, Timewoken," it said, so faintly in the back of their minds that it sounded like their own voice. The faintest beeping was within earshot, for those with strong hearing. Rhythmic pounding of drums would soon follow, faintly hiding behind the howling of the wind.
"With my instruction, you will survive. Prosper." By now, all would be able to hear the strange beeps and pounding, far in the distance. The voice seemed like it wanted to say more, but it was not the right time. "Do not speak to the others of this. I speak to them as I speak to you now, but the three of you are meant for different things. For now, you must survive."
And the voice disappeared, leaving the trio to wonder if it was a residual effect from the transportation, their own subconscious in survival mode, or something else entirely. One thing was clear, though; they would have to fight more than just the cold. Now close enough to clearly make out, the pounding of the drums could be better interpreted as the clanking of robotic soldiers walking in unison. Their beeping some sort of communication or echolocation. Whatever the reason, it seems the trio was found.
"Survive!"
A patrol of six RBC Units stopped moving and began to raise their weapons. Behind the trio of time travelers was a cave, carved deep into the snowy mountain. There was no telling if it went all the way through or if it was any less dangerous than their current situation. However, in front of them was certain danger. Could they fight RBC Units in their weakened state? Could they fight the cold as well? Could they even trust each other? A decision would have to be made, as the RBC patrol group had already made theirs. Several targeting lasers appeared over the body of the Saiyan, Midnight.
1) Flee to the cave 2) Fight the RBC Units
Note: In your weakened state, you have access to three fundamental techniques as well as physical combos. You cannot fly. You have no way of knowing how strong the enemy is, though with their scouting technology, they made the decision to bring six units to fight the three of you, which may be used to gauge their strength. They believe themselves to be about half as weak as each fighter there.
