" At least one of you are wise," Vegeta said with a sinister grin as the first of the aliens darted off in fear. Just then one of the others answered, leaving the Prince to his own thoughts for just a moment. That was until the insults of his race came into play. " Oh?" Vegeta perked up, curiosity nipping at his ears. The alien immediately launched himself into the offensive as two others provided support. The attacks weren't particularly awful, nor were they particularly powerful. Instead it showed their skill, their experience. They were warriors, but they were no where near the caliber that the Saiyans were at. Never mind the fact that their power was abysmal compared to the likes Vegeta had faced in his current timeline. Even with the suppression on his power he still had one thing going for him- his prowess and experience. His left arm lifted on instincts alone, intercepting the hook of the alien mid way. Just as his guard deflected the first blow, two more attacks pelted his chest. Admittedly they packed quite a bit more of a punch than he expected. Even enough to make his jaw clench down. It seems that my power is far more suppressed than I thought.... He thought to himself as the plume of smoke bellowed around he and the alien. The smoke began to clear as a chilly breeze danced over the battlefield. Vegeta still stood there, smile on his face and arm solidly placed against the hook that was swung toward him. " We can't win? Tell me, who decided that?" His right fist then flew forward, mimicking the same hook that the alien had thrown. Wind shifted around his swing and soon his white glove appeared from the last wisps of the smoke. Vegeta didn't wait to know if his attack had connected instead he leapt back, gathering what energy he could in both palms. While his power was less he knew he could only manage a fraction of the destructive force that he could normally muster. With that in mind he stuck to the basics, the fundamentals. " Take this!" He screamed, releasing a volley of a dozen small orbs at the three aliens. If luck would have it, his attacks would all land and they would be reduced to ash. There were things he needed to take care of- and these peasants weren't it. [1SA, x2 Energy Dan @all] 399 / 1176

Joseph and Goku Jr would find themselves awakening on a planet of sand and heat. A desert, obviously, yet it behaved more like an ocean. The sands moved like waves, shifting and swirling with no sense of rhythm or consistency. While the other Time Patrollers had begun their fated journeys, these two had been unconscious longer. Perhaps their age amplified the effects of a time travel trip gone awry? Whatever the answer, it would not be found here. Only dehydration and death would.
The smallest iota of luck was on their side. To the North and East, the gaping maw of the desert expanded forever across the horizon. But according to a weathered wooden sign, there were two towns nearby. To the South, the sign read: "... town." The name was far too worn to make out, but it was clearly a town. To the West: "B...y's ..ra..ar.d." It was far more difficult to decipher, though it was a location of interest. If it wasn't, it wouldn't have been on the sign.
A voice would appear in their minds; so softly that it would almost seem like their own inner monologue. "Your fate awaits across the desert sea," it revealed. "Power can be granted to those who prove their worth."
For now, the voice would only raise more questions than answers. Goku Jr and Joseph would need to choose a path to begin their journey.

Despite Shell being so powerful in his timeline, the Namekian seemed to have little trouble with the adjustment. The warriors who remembered their weakness were terrifying foes indeed. In his weakened state, however, mentality would only get one so far. His physical flurry forced his Shadowguard opponent to be on the defensive. Every attack pushed the shock trooper further and further back. This left Shell wide open for an attack from the sniper.
Or it would have, if Vlad had not sprang into action. The mouth blast and smoke cover allowed for Shell's fight to remain one on one. If he was looking for challenge, then he would be disappointed, as his opponent had fallen to the ground in pain after only a few physical attacks. In a panic, the sniper fled; they could no longer see the battlefield, but the squad leader falling would have appeared on their scouter. If the leader fell, the sniper would have stood no chance. At least, that's how they would tell the story to their commander.
"Weak," the Paladin called out from within the smoke. He threw a Shadowguard gauntlet onto the ground, signifying he too had beaten his challenger. "They must've been scouts. A normal battle regiment would not have been that weak." The sniper getting away was not good, the Paladin thought to himself. The trio's location would be revealed to the enemy.
The smoke cleared, and the Paladin faced his new allies. "We need to warn the village," he said. "Our location has been compromised, so they'll know we were heading to a village. I have to save as many as I can."
However... it was never that easy.
"But..." the Paladin began to say, trailing off. He shouldn't be speaking this freely to strangers, but being a Namekian, Shell had gained the Paladin's trust. Plus, both Vlad and Shell helped fight the invaders. He could trust them. "I think they're searching for an artifact known only as a Dragon Ball. Supposedly, it's a magical orb containing part of the soul of a dragon. When all the orbs are gathered, a dragon appears to grant any wish." It sounded crazy, but everything about this war was crazy. If the protectorate knew this planet contained such heretical weapons, they may not have agreed to protect it. Though, it's not like something that large could have been a secret- did the protectorate know? Answers would not help the situation, so he shook his head free from these thoughts.
"I don't know how many they need, or how many are left. But the elder of another village told me where one is as thanks for saving him. It's in a lake equally as far as the village... but in the opposite direction."
They did not have much time to decide; more soldiers would be flocking to their location now that they were compromised. "I have a scroll that will teleport everybody around me to safety on Avalon. I'm supposed to evacuate the village. But..." he again trailed off, this time looking upwards for answers. "But... if the Shadowguard can have any wish of theirs granted, is that the bigger priority? Should we instead evacuate the artifact, preventing their plans?"
1) Secure the Dragon Ball in the Lake 2) Secure the Village Note: If both participants agree on a path, then you can assume success in your post. If the party is split, then success will have a chance to fail depending on the events that unfold.

Shell was perhaps lucky that Vlad had attacked the sniper that had hit him. They were much weaker here then they normally were, but they still had a general idea of how to fight. The Namekian was impacted by the time travel sickness and his power was not what he would have normally had, but his heart was still the same. He remembered the war on his planet and he knew how dangerous everything that was going on was. He recalled his weakness at the time and he recalled those he wasn’t able to save. They were memories that would never actually leave the Seer’s mind; they are what drove him.
The enemy was defeated and in retreat with their combined efforts. It was good that Vlad was here with Shell and that they had a powerful ally as well. Now that they had time to talk, Shell looked closer at the Paladin, hoping to see if he recognized him and give AURORA a better chance at facial recognition or background summary if he didn’t know the man personally. It was more curiosity than anything else.
Hearing what was going on he tapped into AURORA, ”AURORA, any idea where the nearby Dragonball is located?” It probably was strange for Shell to just start talking to himself, but he figured if he could make the task easier then that would certainly be the best idea.
The Namekian then turned to Vlad, ”We need to secure these people and get them away from this area. We also need the dragonball. I think AURORA should be able to help with that second part, but saving these people is the top priority. If we can secure the village and get these people to safety and I can locate the ball, I’ll go after it. They need all 7 before we are really in danger so the ball isn’t top priority right now unless we know they have 6 already. Someone should have a dragonball radar in base, especially on Namek to make sure it isn’t an eminent threat.”
Maybe speaking in such a way would reveal more of what Shell did or didn’t know, but he knew how protocols were now for the Protectorate. If they were on Namek or Earth, they had Dragonball Radars because they didn’t want the balls to cause any problems to what they were doing. Shell had come to know many things that had been wronged with the Namekian’s gift to the Universe and even understood how they had caused his own bloodline issues.
He would wait to see an answer to what they did or didn’t know. If they knew nothing someone would need to gather the Dragonball and he would volunteer. If they knew someone had six he would do the same, but if they were still scattered and being searched for then it wasn’t a priority like saving the people was. That was always goal number one in any mission, especially when Shell was involved.

1) Save People unless eminent threat of all 7 being collected exists or no information is known then go after the ball while sending Vlad to help with evacuating the people with the Paladin.

Vlad looked at shell smiling. “Well done, friend.” should not impact the future that much, acting like they met previously. This was a multiverse, spin, was it not? At least they were in a timeline they existed not had to make an alternative identity to seem less out of place and less disruptive to the timeline to fit in like the Wheelo incident where Vlad had to act like some government project and the continuation of the false namek incident. This timeline may have restricted their powers to be more shackled than their history would have suggested, but no doubt part of that would be logical consequences of the time table changing. Maybe the steel legion or shadowguard tech tampering “Friend a disruption is within my core components I can’t fly, but I shall do my very best.” part of Vlad wondered if in his trips to Namek if he may have encountered Shell in some form or perhaps was an odd village away from him, but nostalgic curiosities had to wait they had to get to the things and get to them in short order.
The android turned to the paladin near the belt buckle of his human like form. He had a pin of the protectorate. Curiosity of if this paladin was still around crossed his mind or if this paladin’s life path had gone on unrecognizably from how it panned in their line, his mind surged. “Wait” he looked at Shell “would relocation even work on the dragon balls? My data suggests they are bound to this world. Would they not just relocate to a new zone of namek? Would it be better to teleport the people and try to fortify a location to house the artifact?” the android ultimately nodded to the prioritizing the civilians, as that was his role and all he aspired to be in the protectorate, a stalwart defender.
Vlad took up a piece of parchment and quickly scrolled down his com data to the two, flight systems may classify as potential combat utility but his com systems are a sub system of the hardware and software that enable him to hear, and he could still hear so perhaps that internal com link was available to him. The android got into position to bolt for the village, if swimming would be more efficient than sprinting he would dive into the surest path to it confident that Shell’s metabolic processes are not being vastly impacted by what forces cut off their learned capabilities and combat centered mods, so he felt likely not to be an issue swimming, his buoyancy regulators should not been impacted.
He gave himself a minute to max out his velocity in this limited functionality, preparing like a Herculian athlete readying for the marathon sprinter round. The moment granting either time to advise for or against a course of action before the android commit.
