Shalem closed her eyes and allowed the space around her to vanish from sight and mind, as she quieted the space around her. Creation was so long ago, yet she did once enjoy the quiet expanse, before so much life entered the universe. But that was not the here and now. She created a world below her, with her floating just above the atmosphere. The Celestial looked around herself calmly before she turned her crimson eyes forward. Yes, this would have to do for a little skirmish. She moved her arms around a moment as she set the space around her as well. Rocks, asteroids, and a distant smaller astral body, what they called a moon in modern days.
Shalem the Witch closed her eyes then as she allowed power from her core into her body. The dark, almost demonic power glowed purple a moment before she settled into a lazy floating posture. An intimidating aura flowed about her person as she waited then. She had been informed that this space was for fighting, and she believed that she needed this. She hadn't had much to do on Damaskia about fighting, but she could let her power out here without fear of crushing any little ants or citizens. Modern society seemed so uptight about that.

Fresh out of the fire temple, with newfound vigor and reassurances that his current vessel's strength was most satisfactory to his tastes, the primeval found himself quite keen on testing out just how it meassured up to someone truly strong. After all, this new body had yet to be truly tested at its limits. Sure he had had a few battles with on one hand that insanely strong halfwit of a half saiyan with his loyal minion and on the other hand an up and coming talented changeling, but it wasn't enough. The perfect tool for such a task was within his grasp though, as it only took a mere little trinket of a gem to allow the ancient being to focus himself and allow his mind to wander into the vastness of the astral plane. One look as he opened his eyes was enough, the feeling of immense pressure and a vision filled with poison and poise was all it took for Ur'alcyonis to realize that whatever or whomever he would be facing at that moment was not going to be some run of the mill pushover. However, the scent of a celestial was always enough to make his blood boil, even after having spent a year among their self-centered and dogmatic kind, he could still feel his skin crawl whenever he sensed one of those belonging to the very race which had cursed him to his parasitic existence for eons. With his own black aura slowly settling down and revealing him in his silver haired glory with a somewhat strained smirk on his face, the primeval calmly walked towards the girly looking celestial. With his eyes shining like golden orbs, he stood still but a few feet away from her, licking his lips and resting a hand upon the hilt of the blade strapped to the side of his hips, his navy blue overcoat weaving gently with the breeze. "Such lonely and strangely tranquil sight...with such a space...one would wonder just what goes through that head of yours..."

Unsealed vs Unsealed Shalem WC: 354 TWC: 568 / 912 It was likely that the demon before her would not have thought that Shalem would reach out in speech through telepathy, but it really was her only method of verbal communication, Such a high complement, spoken from a gentle. But a gentleman that radiates such bloodlust upon our first meeting. I greet you," Shalem gave a small boy of her head, before she seemed to blur a moment. Now was not really the time for all that much talk, now was it? Her blade-like, ebony talons struck out for the demon's body, only to vanish in a blue after-image as her real body struck like a vicious monster as she shoved her hand for his side, where a human's kidney would be. "I am Shalem, the Dark Angel," she introduced herself. The string attached to the mouth seal swung and revealed a blood-red orb halfway concealed within gold trappings, as she swayed back and pulled her other arm forward- the one that had not attacked him before- as she revealed the energy weapon there. Bang, bang, bang. "Allow us both to test out our strengths, and I shall reward you when we meet in the real world." Shalem offered this to the demon, though she had a feeling that he as well knew what he was to be sealed by other Celestial beings. It was likely that by then he'd see them, Shalem's dark wings. The ebony witch of eld that was once said to have chained her wings to so that she could walk among mortals. It was because of that promise, and because she was forced to break it, that she had been sealed herself. But now none of those that had sealed her were around. She was free at last to be as free as she wanted, with only a small amount of chains to hold her down. "Otherwise, we shall simply engage for the sport?" She added playfully as she tossed the gun to the side before another pistol took it's place. After all, she had a near endless supply thanks to Damaskia and their own fascinations with these toys.

It looked like there was no place for any sort of civilized conversation in this place, made all the more apparent when the Primeval was quickly overwhelmed in terms of both speed and strength. With but a few words having escaped the strangely familiar looking celestial's mouth she moved like a blur in the silver haired man's eyes, her strength apparent as she hit the man in his side with enough force to make him slide backwards and buckle over with a hackling cough. "Quite the greeting...Shalem dear," The man laughed, rising back to his full height, rubbing his hand across the corner of his mouth, swiping away the trickling black blood and smeering it in his silver hair when he combed through it with the same hand, slicking it backwards and making a nod into the celestial's direction. However, when shots of energy were suddenly fired into his direction, the first got caught up by a thin, almost glass-like bubble around him, with the second one cracking it and pushing the man further backwards, the third crashing through it completely and hitting the side of his face. With his cheek ripped open, the man simply grinned, which considering the torn half of his side was quite the sight. Luckily, unlike the mortal realms this was the astral plane, a place where no damage was permanent, not even death was a certainty, so Ur'alcyonis could not really bother about how he looked at this stage. "Let's just thoroughly enjoy ourselves...shall we?"Without warning, the primeval vanished from his spot, reappearing right in front of the angelic being, unsheathing his black blade with unparallelled speed and accuracy and performing an upwards slash with the blade followed swiftly by a horizontal one from left to right. "Guns and blades...this should be fun."

Unsealed vs Unsealed Shalem WC: 414 TWC: 982 / 1631 Of course they were here to fight. This was something that the Celestial was here for, to test her power and strength in this age. She watched and noted as the demon attained injuries, and thought that it was strange, that he wouldn't dodge. But it was likely that he didn't care about the astral body that he inhabited. This was not how he likely fought in the real world, unless he took such risks to land critical blows. The Witch was happy that he didn't crumble under the attacks that she had put out so far, because this was going to be a test for her defenses now, as well. And then he attacked, as she gave him a face that looked like she thanked him. It wasn't like she could actually talk. He came at her with blade readied, and slashed at her from under towards her. She moved back a bit and slid to the side, where his sword caught her gun, and locked there as he tried to push against her, with enough success to slice into her stomach area, though more shallow than deep. Still, it sliced the "robs" that she wore, something that she had been gifted in ancient times. "A bold one," she replied, as she moved in for her retaliation. She kept the pistol locked in place as she stayed close. Her clawed hand stabbed out again, but this time her own, smaller blade stabbed at his gut, as the small knife that she carried on her person was stabbed towards his gut. The dagger was not something that a typical Celestial would carry, and she moved to rip out the small dagger as she planted one of her feet to smash the ground as she followed up with a punch that she aimed at his stomach. That blow was meant to fling him back a bit as she pulled her gun away. The pistol was quickly discarded, as the barrel was ruined by the sword. Another gun appeared, but this one a rifle. She aimed quickly, and shot. It was likely not as accurate as if she had time to aim for a vital, so she aimed for his chest, likely around his sword shoulder. "Your tenacity gets my blood moving. I shall enjoy our time here," This time she moved her hand as thought to blast him, but she was curious to see if he would engage with ki or resume his sword attacks.

This particular celestial seemed to have more experience in fighting than the primeval initially thought. He was used to the current generation's celestials being nothing more than self-centered, ignorant and pompous pricks who only had a modicum of skill and relied solely on their image rather than their strength. Even if he had gone to war with the celestials, even if he was trapped, drawned and quartered by a whole host of them, this generation was pathetic and weak...which made him wonder...if this one, this obviously tainted celestial was even part of this pathetic generation of self-absorbed imbeciles who couldn't even recognise a primeval standing in their midst even if they wanted to. It was quite amusing to see how this gun-toting angel managed to catch the edge of his black blade with one of her weapons, avoiding any serious damage by skillfully 'guiding' the primeval's blade. While she had called him a bold one, he silently did make note of her cunning. For while his attention was drawn to the gun trailing off his second slash, the angel brandished a dagger to make quick work of his defenses... That was, if it was anyone else, that kind of underhanded tactic may have worked, but as his eyes darted towards the dagger, Ur'alcyonis instantly jerked his knee upwards with the aim to strike her wrist and forearm with it before the blade would make any serious contact with his flesh, hoping to use this somewhat quick move to unbalance her offense. Yet, even with that in mind, the man could feel her driving her fist into his gut and forcing him a few feet backwards again. With his free arm clutching his gut, the primeval let out a wheeze before chuckling with an expression of sheer amusement on his face. "Been quite some time since I had the pleasure of meeting a celestial with a good nose for brawling...From his position, the primeval bend through his knees, instantly launching himself towards Shalem again, all the while holding his black blade behind him. With a quick shift of his weight, he slightly altered his trajectory, allowing himself to go for her right side, where he'd aim a few quick jabs with his free hand towards her side before making a quick turn in order to swing the back end of his blade towards her head. "The fallen should have someone like you among their ranks..."

Unsealed vs Unsealed Shalem WC: 408 TWC: 1390 / 2448 Shalem was able to take a hit, but to reveal that was something that would only make this one a smarter foe in the future, if it ever came to that. But he was am amusing one, she did admit. The Witch smiled as he spoke about her ability to brawl. While it was hard to understand why he thought that that in itself was remarkable, it seemed that the Celestials of this age had grown soft, and were not as interested in intervention. At least those that had come to rule the Other World. This was likely to become a bloodbath if anyone like Azazel roamed the universe again. "I'll take that as a compliment, she replied, and though he could not see a smirk, the reply dripped with how a smirk behind it. His launch allowed an aviodence to her shot, though she had thought that would be the case. His counter attack started with fists, something that Shalem took the blows of. She wanted to feel his strength, and moved a bit in her stance from it. Perhaps he thought her more vunerable than before, as he followed this with a strike aimed at her head. This was a mistake, as she moved backwards and her shoulder checked against his lead hand and wrist as the blade slashed down at the air. "The Fallen, huh?" She had read up on them, but it was Damaskia that released her from her prison. That at least gave her some gratitude towards the Empire, so she had to at least pay them back enough for that. " "They should have found me sooner, then," Shalem offered this information, cryptic as it was. Though she also had to admit that the energy weapon toys that she got on Damaskia were fun in their own right. She turned around as slashed her hand outwards with the dagger as a feint attack, since she had already revealed it before. The stab went for his sword hand, while her other came for his chest, only this time it was on fire. The flaming punch was not her only surprise for the demon, however, as her palm moved to twin fingers pointed at the demon, " "I still haven't gotten your name," she stated before the attack would go off. She had tried to latch a small orb of ki onto his jacket, so that it would explode like a fireworks display, colorful and bright.

So, it seemed that the longer he dealt with this...Shalem, the more the primeval began to understand the way she fought. There were no wasted movements, no wasted effort or energy, all just a combination of short and simple movements and twitches just to get what she wanted with minimal exercision of strength or energy. It was rather interesting to find someone who fought in such a manner, with such a laid back nature. However, while he did admire the precision in her movements, it didn't mean he liked being the target of those precise and accurate rebuttals to his own assault, as he could feel the stinging sensation run through his wrist when she reacted in an almost similar way to his own when encountering his slash. "One can't fault the ignorance of the current generation of celestials if there's no one willing to guide those poor sods," The primeval chuckled, his permanent grin due to the messed up half of his face making it all look and sound more devious than intended. Though it looked like the celestial was intending to return the favor of his assault once again, Ur'alcyonis didn't intend to be the subject of that darned dagger once more. Alas, with the surprise being too close within range, he couldn't avoid feeling the cold metal of the blade pierce through his skin and flesh. Yet, it was once he could see the orb of energy latching on to his overcoat that the primeval made his move, vanishing from the spot where he stood, leaving behind the overcoat to which the orb had latched onto and appearing a few feet behind the woman, swiping his hand through the air as an extremely thin projectile of his own ki soared through the air towards the base of her wings. Holding onto his blade was becoming a bit cumber some with the deep cut in his hand, so rather than continuing his attack or even propping up some sort of defense, the primeval simply let out a sigh when it looked like the black blade itself was allowing its energy to run through the ancient being's body, healing it in the process and removing the few cuts and burns he'd suffered so far. "If it is any consolation...most people don't get my name, considering I really dislike the way I am now compared to who I was before those celestials created that abomination they call Zeno. Though if you wish to call me anything...Urizen will do just fine."
