Mira VS Juch
Juch — 09/18/2022
Juch sucked in a bit of air as he pondered over how to answer Mira's question. It wasn't as straightforward and a little difficult to explain. However, considering that there was some interest piqued, he decided that there was no harm in at least speaking about it, even if this was just their first time meeting. After all, Juch was still a rather cautious individual, but the potential risks were just deemed neg-negligible.
"Well, I think it may be better to show you; I don't know if I can just explain it," the android nodded his head towards the scenery. The abstract figures and shapes that whizzed by harmlessly in the background suddenly froze in place. A stillness fell upon the scene before they began to fracture, shattering akin to a sharp blow onto the pristine surface of a frozen lake--orderly, yet violently.
They began to revolve around each other, the larger and smaller pieces alike, swirling around as if caught in a whirlpool; spinning faster and faster, the fragments distorted and contorted, smearing across both space and time as a rushing darkness enveloped everything--a cacophony of shrieking wind and discordant tunes of hurtling objects playing...
...
...a small plume of flame lit up Juch's face. A lighter in his gloved hand tilted over towards Mira, "Quite abstract perhaps, but it's a decent representation. What do you make of it?"
Shell Mira Towa — 09/20/2022
It was possible that the vision this scholar had seen was related to Mira and Towa's plans, but it was also very vague if it was. For now Mira would assume it was something else. Showing any possible knowledge of the vision could have been foolish anyways.
"It could mean anything, but a pending change does seem to be on the horizon if what you have seen is accurate."
Juch — 09/20/2022
"I suppose it could," Juch smiled, "But it was ominous, was it not? And it certainly differed from anything else that I had seen before. However, in the end, it is difficult--a tall task, I shall say--to persuade me of action based on visions alo-alone."
As he continued to speak, a minute, seemingly invisible pulse--barely detectable--seeped out between his words; similar to the Ancient one that made its presence known on Mira. However, this entity had more of a malicious tint to it, although it made no attempt to commit any sort of malevolent action, instead just slithering out simply because it couldn't hide itself any longer.
Unlike Mira, however, Juch made no comment on the barely detectable presence on his own personage and instead continued, "And so, I am in fact en route to another planet after waking up, as we speak. It used to be a Damaskian colony before an unfortunate happenstance befell upon it: Konec. Since you have some affiliation with Damaskia, perhaps you have heard of it?"
Shell Mira Towa — 09/21/2022
"It is slightly ominous, but I do agree you can't go on visions alone. More needs to be known before we simply act out of fear." The Android clearly didn't fear anything.
As he continued to listen the Android brought up where he was going next, but not after another strange occurrence in the Astral Realm. Mira's eyes narrowed, trying to figure out what it was, but since Juch ignored it, Mira thought it was best to do the same. Then he mentioned Konec.
"I have," Mira said answering the last thing that Juch had asked, "I recently was sent a request to go there as well. I believe Towa will be going as well. I guess we will meet in the mortal realm as well."
Juch — 09/21/2022
"Hm, what a coincidence," the android remarked as the flames from his lighter shone brighter. The destination that he was headed to right now just so happened to be the same as both Mira and Towa. This is going to be interesting indeed, "Or perhaps some might dress it up as 'fate', hm?"
The darkness slowly ebbed away like the receding tide. It appeared that things were going back down to normal once more, "Y'see, apparently the planet Konec had quite the battle on it before. Have you heard of such a thing?"
Shell Mira Towa — 09/21/2022
Mira shook his head no, "I have only seen the file and heard from Towa that we would be going. We are working as a diplomatic connection between the Shadowguard and Scholars. When she saw it was a joint effort she said we would need to go. I figured I would process the information when I wasn't in here. I wanted something to do though. The mortal realm is so boring with the mortals are sleeping."
Mira thought about what Juch had said for just a moment before he jumped back into conversation.
"What kind of battle and why is it important to us?"
Juch — 09/21/2022
Oh really now? Since Juch had been asleep, there had been quite the change all around the galaxy. What Mira said does also corroborate with the intel that he was able to gather as well as the public news. It was simply a delight that one of those that was part of the diplomatic efforts just happened to be Mira and Towa. Although, frankly, Mira didn't exactly seem to be one who particularly cares about that per say. Perhaps it was more Towa in that regard, "Ah yes, here we are back with the sleeping once more; everyone else is doing it--you sure you don't want to give it a try?"
It was said more in jest than anything else, although what Juch said next returned back to a more curious tone, "So there's the astral realm, and then there's the--as you put it--mortal realm. But it seems like you're more familiar with other realms, no?"
As for the battle that had happened before, Juch's data on that was limited. He was hoping that Mira could know a bit more about it, but it appears that they're more on the same boat when it comes to exactly what happened on Konec, "Well, from what I understand thus far, the planet itself had been torn to shreds as a consequence of that fight. And apparently Damaskian forces were involved. Beyond that, unless you know something from your reports and are willing to share, I can't say much more than that. Of course, from a research perspective, Konec has significant potential, even if it's in ruins; quite the shame, really. I'm not a fan of rubble per say."
Shell Mira Towa — 09/21/2022
"I'll pass; I can find something to do." Mira declined again, sleep wasn't important to him and he had no reason to waste time. Even going to the Astral Realm would be enough for him.
The Juch asked about other realms, it caused a slight grin to come across the Androids face, "Maybe a few. It is all part of my design." He left out the part of his history also having taken him to many of them as well.
After Juch explained Konec Mira shrugged, "Rubble and ruins seem to be all that Towa mentions you Scholars do. Is there a reason you aren't a fan of such things?"
