Mira VS Juch
Juch — 09/21/2022
The third rejection (or was it second? Juch didn't particularly keep track) of the sleeping or resting idea simply amused the Scholar more than anything else; Mira perhaps didn't find it as funny, but he was being a good sport about it all, "Maybe I'll convince you one of these days."
Instead, it was the mention of other realms that drew out a smile--albeit a teensy small one--from the otherwise imposing Mira, although there was not more elaboration beyond a vague, but knowing confirmation, "Heh, now you're teasing me too. Well-well, if we do stand to collaborate further, I suppose I can look forward to you telling me a bit more about those other realms and your design."
"Perish the thought though; whilst rubble and ruin do told a vast majority of attention, I would admit, at the very least it was due to the decay of time and abandonment, not other external factors. I will also point out that the ruins belonging to the Lost is also kinda key to all this. We're looking for knowledge and technology, not merely digging through dirt like children in a sandbox."
"As for myself..." he trailed off for a moment, crossing his arms and humming to himself, "Well, I dislike destruction, to put it simply. I find it distasteful."
Shell Mira Towa — 09/22/2022
Sounded like a boring job to the Android. He didn't like simply digging through dirt even if they were looking for something important. It was always boring and Towa normally made him do all the hard work. It was part of his role though...
"I destroy a good number of things." Mira retorted with a sadistic grin on his face now, "Just recently I blew up a world. Rather simple, but it deserved it."
Juch — 09/22/2022
"Hm hm, is that so?" Juch's smile never wavered as he adjusted his glasses; it was a bit of a push back from Mira, but the Scholar was unfazed by it, "Not that I'm going to stand on some moral high ground or anything of that sort. I dislike that sort of showing as well."
"But since you brought it up, I may as well ask: how did it deserve it?"
Shell Mira Towa — 09/22/2022
Mira smirked, "I heard the stories of the new world and knew it could become a problem for me in the future. A mirror planet to Earth with all of its failures and yet somehow it remains a power in the Universe. A second version of that loyal to the protectorate and saiyans was not something I wished to let grow." He paused a flicker of power forming in his hand, "So I blew it up."
Juch — 09/22/2022
Juch's gloved fingers stroked his chin in thought at Mira's explanation. Obviously, he was unfamiliar with the context of the situation, but even if he took it at face value, it was something that he could understand. After all, he had to face similar situations in the past before, just on a much smaller scale than planetary levels--and in those cases, he also chose violence. He disliked it, but Juch was also pragmatic.
But it was the harsh reality of nature, the unending turmoil of power and politics. As long as there was no Chosen One survivor as foretold in the prophecy that would send an upheaval across the Galaxy, that is.
"Whilst not an elegant solution, I suppose it is still a solution. Interests just don't align sometimes," he said, his gaze darting towards the ki that flared up in Mira's hand, "Or it is, as you say, people being stupid."
"So the Protectorate and the Saiyans...then the Damaskians and the Keliouxians--I see where you stand. How about the Planetary Trade Organization?"
Shell Mira Towa — 09/22/2022
The power would fade away as Juch looked at it, but it was clear that Mira had more than enough power if he wanted to destroy much more than just a planet if he desired to do so.
"My solutions are to stop problems before they become worse problems for me."
Then Juch asked about the Trade Organization, "As long as they stay out of my way, then I don't mind them. I'm loyal to where I need ot be loyal and a nightmare to those I don't."
Juch — 09/22/2022
Indeed, the individual standing before Juch was clearly very dangerous; however, Mira didn't appear to be the volatile type. It wasn't as if he needed to walk on eggshells around him, at least not for now.
"Simple and direct, I'd say," the android nodded in response, "That power you wield will certainly stop most problems. Although the saying does go, that when you have a hammer, all your problems look like nails, do they not?"
As for the PTO, it was an attitude of near indifference that Mira had shown. However, did Mira's loyalty solely lie in those who can help him with the pursuit of power? And how much of an influence does Towa exert? If they were meet in the 'mortal realm' like Mira had put it, then perhaps Juch will see for himself, "Mm, I see. Then, could I interpret that the Protectorate and the Saiyans have gotten in your way, so to speak?"
Shell Mira Towa — 09/23/2022
Mira smirked, "I can see what you are saying." It was true that the Android was clearly a hammer and that was his design. The fact that Juch explained those he vanquished as a nail certainly did make sense.
The Android was not a fan of hero types and while the Saiyan Empire in this realm had yet to directly interfere with his alternate objectives, the Saiyans certainly had. It was rather obvious, "I am not friends with either of them for a reason."
