Mira VS Juch
Juch — 12/26/2022 11:46 AM
Another trip into the astral realm. After a longer session in the realm, Juch had a subsequently shorter one. While he had done much research about this dimension, it still was finicky sometimes. That made it difficult to obtain good data, but he felt like he was close to something.
Regardless, Juch found himself materialized in a...Hm. The night sky first slowly formed above. There was a hazy, humid atmosphere to it all, before the countryside flashed into existence. A quaint little road forked into the rolling hills and short stone walls that seemed to stretch out to infinity.
With a sigh, Juch leaned against on the wall as rustic wagons rolled past, pulled by a type of animal that he hadn't seen before. Hm, interesting.

Visiting the Chamber of Repose has caused some issues with Mira's ability to connect with the Astral Realm. It was strange, but since he also connected to this place because of the Eye of the Titan it created even more of a question to why this had happened.
Either way, he knew he had been in there with the Android Scholar Juch before the disconnection and he wanted to find out what happened. Was the demon really dead, what had happened, why had they been disconnected violently like that? Maybe the scholar knew the answers, but either way the only way to find out was to go to the astral realm again. Now that he was out of the chamber it felt like this was as good of a time as any.
He popped into the realm, arriving to a night setting. It seemed calm and peaceful. Even animals dragged things around as if it was a much older time. Maybe it was just an older setting?
Then he saw Juch. He nodded, calmly crossing the road to see how the scholar was doing as he seemed rather relaxed at this point.

Juch looked up, before smiling and giving the approaching figure a small wave. The glittering stars above provided light where the lanterns that hung on the posts didn't. A small breeze caressed the long unkempt grasses, sending a small cloud of fireflies up into the air. Their shining orbs may not have illuminated much more of the scenery, but it certainly set the tone of everything. After all that has happened so far, Juch was appreciative of something a little more calm and relaxing. Everything had been a whirlwind thus far, but if Mira hadn't shown up, he would have been comfortable just hanging about in this quiet night.
Only the sounds of the wagon wheels and the buzzing of the insects would be his only company, but he wouldn't feel lonely. Such scenarios gave him a sense of solace and peace. But, since Mira was here, it was only appropriate that he go and greet the other android. It had been a while since their last conversation. He was curious to hear if anything significant had changed since then.
"Well, didn't expect to see you again so soon," the Scholar remarked, remaining where he was, "It was a rather violent disconnection that we experienced last time. Who would have thought that we found each other so quickly soon after?"
"So, how've you been?"
Shell Mira Towa — 12/27/2022 10:02 AM
"My interest had been peeked after the way the battle with the demon ended." Mira explained quickly.
The scene around them, kept them in a place that felt like it was almost real, but it was still the Astral Realm. Nothing here was ever normal. It was just a projection of normal or at least that is how Mira had come to understand this place.
"Well I got sidetracked and somehow magically got brought to this maze with some ancient mage. She wanted revenge on others and brought a bunch of people there to test the place out before using it for her revenge..." He paused a grin on his face, "She did not realize the power of those she brought and even with her magic neutralizing many powers, she still ended up defeated."
It was a team effort for sure, but the being sidetracked was certainly not something Mira enjoyed happening to him. Towa would need to make sure this kind of magic did not impact them ever again.
Juch — 12/27/2022 10:19 AM
"Ah yes, the Demon," Juch nodded as he got off of the stone wall. More wagons seemed inclined to take a small detour, the scenic route during nighttime perhaps. The rolling of their wheels on the bumpy dirt road dissolved into background noise as Juch and Mira could now face each other without much interruption, "I've looked into it after our last disconnect. However, I couldn't find the Forest of Illusion again afterwards. It's a winding maze, this place."
"Well, perhaps different than the maze you've been in," Juch raised his brow, "Hm, an ancient mage. I wonder if there's details about her in a grimoire somewhere. Regardless, it was evident that she chose the wrong people to test out her...torture chamber, I'm guessing what it was, from the context."
Mira at least seemed pleased with the results, "Was there anyone else notable that was transported to the maze?" Juch asked.
Shell Mira Towa — 12/27/2022 8:57 PM
Mira scoffed thinking about the weakling mage, "The Ancient Mages we were told simply are cowards that surrendered in the time when the Kais took over the Universe. They live in a realm away from others believing they are impressive beings. They had cool magic, but the one that set up all the trash maze just proved to be nothing."
Mira tries to think of something redeeming he had learned from this encounter, "I did get visuals on all these beings when they came to reclaim their own. Maybe it will be a fun hunt to kill them on my terms one by one?"
Juch — 12/28/2022 9:39 PM
"Those are beings that I haven't really heard of before," Juch crossed his arms in thought, "It sounds like the universe was rather colorful back then. You have the Mages, the Titans, and then the Kais...jolly."
"But it sounds like you weren't impressed with what happened," he continued with a small chuckle; evidently, the mage wasn't strong enough for Mira's standards, "Now, if you just killed everyone, then there'd be no one left. Sounds like a different kind of boredom if you ask me."
Shell Mira Towa — 12/29/2022 3:18 PM
"Menoetius never spoke of the Mages before. From his reaction to experiencing them again it had to do with them being cowards during his time and surrendering to the Kai's." Mira explained, "I found it interesting the powers they had, but it was nothing that was overly concerning. They were weaklings in the end, not worth my time even with it being on their terms."
Then Juch asked a very important question, if he killed everyone then what fun would that be. It was a solid question, but not one he had ever considered, "I never plan on killing everyone, but maybe those mages. Cowards like that don't have much of a place if you ask me."
Mira also hated people that annoyed him. It wasn't hard to get on that list, but the Mage order had certainly done just that.
