Mira VS Juch
The hole in the wall led down to an underground passage. It was a rough-hewn tunnel, cut into the rock. The air was damp and musty.
At the bottom of the incline, Juch murmured to himself as he pressed a hand against his head. He didn't seem injured, rather just shaken at the second ambush he had suffered in the astral realm thus far. In the distance, the sound of dripping water echoing through the passageway. The walls were lined with glowing moss, providing a dim light, but the tunnel twisted and turned, leading deep into somewhere. The winding tunnel descended deep into the earth, its rough-hewn walls closing in around him as Juch looked towards the tunnel going further down. The air grew colder and damper, the only light coming from the flickering lights still emitting from the distant hallway behind them. The path twisted and turned, never going in a straight line for long. The sound of dripping water echoed through the cavern, and Juch couldn't shake the feeling of being watched.
Another rumbling came about. This time, it was another fist came rocketing towards Mira, this time even stronger than before. Whatever this creature was, it must be huge to keep bursting through walls and rocks. However, while it was difficult to get a read on any sort of energy signature, as it continued to get distorted through the cavern, but it was clear that this opponent wouldn't be a pushover like the previous ones that they had faced thus far.

Nothing was visible right away. After such a massive fist and the hole that the monster had created, the simple fact that all they could see was a underground passage. Mira tilted his head for a moment taking in what they could see, but as he was doing so the fist came for him once more.
Mira moved himself into position to brace himself, but the force of the attack still pushed him back into the wall. In the time he was pushed back though, he released a tidbit of energy. A small flicker of power that seemed to ride the hand away like a ring on the finger as the fist went back down the hole.
Moments later he snapped his finger causing the energy to erupt down the tunnel. It probably did not do much damage, but his eyes watched down the tunnel, but nothing really was visible with how far back the explosion happened.
"Interesting, can't see the full form with how big the opponent is after the explosion." Mira relayed, "We will probably have to figure out a way to get closer, I doubt that blast style will do much of anything to such a massive monster.

"Mmrgh," Juch muttered to himself as he sat back up. He heard some commotions here and there, but after that heavy blow, he needed to reorient himself a little bit. Some sounds occurred above, as if a struggle was happening before another explosion sounded off.
The bright flash down the tunnel thankfully didn't strike Juch, so he was able to stand back up. The illumination helped him see a little better, however. At the entrance, there were a few small shrubs and mosses clinging to the walls, but as Juch looked down, he saw that if he were to descend, he'd come closer to larger ferns and mushrooms. The ferns were lush and green, their fronds reaching out to brush against Juch's legs as he took a first few steps. The mushrooms were of various sizes and colors, some small and white, others large and brightly colored. The dampness of the tunnel seemed to nourish the growth of these plants, and they covered nearly every inch of the walls and floor.
It was evident that he didn't sustain much damage from the attack and was just stunned from the blow instead, "Well," he called back up to Mira, "if it's such a large monster, then maybe this tunnel was made by it instead. We can follow down there and see what we can find, but we should keep a distance between each other to not get hit at the same time."
Shell Mira Towa — 01/17/2023 10:19 AM
Mira darted down the hallway to get to where the monster was. Juch was likely right that the large monster had caused or created the tunnel; it made the most sense. The only thing he wondered was what was waiting for them further down that tunnel.
As he moved down the tunnel though another large fisted strike came his way. He bounced off the ground kicking into the wall to form his own little side escape path to watch the fist go past. The speed and force though made it hard for him to see many more details. Instead he waited for the arm to retract before jumping back out and continuing down the path.
He wasn't sure if Juch would follow or find his own way, but he would push down the wall, following the same pattern until he saw a large lit chasm up ahead. That was likely where the monster was and where the next opponent waited for them.
Juch — 01/17/2023 6:29 PM
The rumbling increased. Mira first moved forward, with Juch following a ways away behind from a lower top speed as well as strategic choice. The winding corridor was wide enough for several to move through comfortably, so if need be, he can jump up to the ceiling or flatten down to the ground to avoid any more massive punches if necessary.
And look at that. Another punch coming this way. Mira moved around, dodging the strike; the looming knuckles came towards Juch next, who slid onto the ground with a burst of speed to get ahead of its landing site. Just in the nick of time! It crashed in behind him, boring another branch to the already twisting and turning route that the two androids were traveling towards.
Over time, Juch sometimes was even forced down different paths compared to Mira's, but the intersecting routes soon allowed the Scholar to catch a glimpse of Mira's figure every now and again. It didn't matter if they didn't follow the exact same line. As long as they continued heading down, they'll find their destination eventually. Every so often, the Scholar passed small alcoves or side tunnels, but they kept to the main path, unsure of what lay ahead. As the two androids descended deeper, the tunnel seemed to go on forever, but finally, the Scholar saw a faint light in the distance. With renewed energy, Juch quickened their pace, eager to reach the end of the tunnel and discover what lay beyond.
With more dirt and gravel tumbling behind him, Juch saw the light at the end. A cliff, an edge. At least there was light. Obviously he didn't want to fall over, so the Scholar skidded to a stop. Torches lined the walls in here, with a wide gap between their current location and the cliff directly across from them. Remnants of a broken rope bridge hung over the edge as the ground began to shake. A heavily armored gauntlet suddenly reached up from the abyss, the towering fingers gripping the ledge as an entity began to emerge, pulling itself up...
If the Ogre they faced was thought to be big, that creature seemed just a tiny mite compared to this over encumbered giant. Other than a suit of armor crusted with rust and a seemingly limitless amount of tiny weapons stuck to it from previous adventurers, it was difficult to see what was underneath.
Shell Mira Towa — 01/18/2023 9:36 AM
They made it to the opening and saw what was a rather amazing sight for an opponent. This figure was at least 100 times bigger than the Ogre they had faced moments ago, and looked like it was able to just absorb the attacks thrown at it as weapons littered its body.
Mira looked at Juch, the two of them even tiny compared to such a massive monster, "Looks like weapons don't do much, probably just like little scratches to one of us from any weapon type. Means we probably have to figure out how to blast it away."
The idea was rather basic. Mira knew some basics of demolitions. If you were trying to take down a massive building you didn't use a pick axe you used something massive for an explosion or chain of explosions.
That thought was what caused Mira's next theory to go into action. He fired a powerful blast at the creature, but even the power and magnitude of the blast wasn't enough to really mess with the monster. It basically just shrugged off the attack.
"Think strategic demolition. If we hit it at multiple points all at the same that, that might be the only way to get this massive monster to feel anything."
The one benefit was in this open area where the monster was, they had plenty of room to maneuver. It was not a closed corridor or tunnel the size of the beasts fist. It was an entire room. It would let them use their speed and mobility to avoid whatever was likely going to come at them... That was unless the beast released some massive body sized explosion.
Juch — 01/18/2023 10:32 AM
Juch let out a low whistle at the sight of such a monstrosity. Mira immediately started to strategize upon seeing the giant--his experience at taking down dangerous targets showing through. The Scholar meanwhile, took a moment to stare at such a creature with curiosity; the closest he could think of that came close to reality was something like a transformed Saiyan Oozaru. He hadn't faced off against one of those before, but it would no doubt be a similar experience if he had.
A test attack. Unlike the Demon that they had faced previously in the astral realm, this hulking titan didn't dodge the blast that Mira threw at him--with the sheer amount of armor on it in addition to its size, Juch doubted it would be capable of such agility; rather, it took the hit head on. Other than a blip of scorch on its armor, it didn't appear to be affected at all.
"I think that's the best solution we have for now; we have to at least try," Juch nodded as he took to the air. That seemed to have caught the armored creature's attention. It raised another fist and swung it towards the Scholar. The monster's movements were slow, sure--but when it got going, it was also difficult to slow down. It was a basic fact of physical motion after all; the largest masses have larger momentum, which meant that in order to change it, it was going to need a lot more energy. That meant for both speeding up and slowing down. So right now, the most difficult aspect of the giant's attacks that needed to be worried about wasn't exactly how fast it was going, but rather how much space it was taking up.
Its massive fist missed as Juch moved out of the way, and it slammed into the ceiling instead. It seemed to get stuck, struggling to pull its hand back out as the Scholar charged up a barrage of ki blasts all around him. No doubt Mira would attempt the same. When Mira would attack, Juch would too--sending the multiple hits down towards various points of the monster to see whether or not they could get some actual damage onto it.
Shell Mira Towa — 01/18/2023 10:38 AM
Mira jumped around, dodging the incoming attacks as he watched Juch start the sequence of his attacks. He had seen the same thing that Mira had when he attack and it seemed to make it rather obvious what the best way to handle this was. The one thing he had yet to know for certain was how durable was the armor the beast had.
As Mira dodged around, he fired specs of energy to different parts of the body. The attacks would stop just a little bit away from the monster, almost moving with him to make sure they were close enough to explode, but not be touched. It was a massive focus on energy that he was trying and did make a few of his dodges rather sloppy. Juch having seen Mira move in battle before would clearly be able to tell that something was up.
Then just as Juch's barrage of attacks was about to land, the energy of Mira's ignited in raging flames. It was as if he had sprinkled multiple flame breaths around the monster and as the fire erupted he hoped to weaken the monsters armor for the barrage that Juch had unleashed.
Flames engulfed Mira as well. The Android feeling confident as he took the last strike aimed at him head on, letting the flames do the job of hurting the monster as well. Hopefully the shield would hold up against the might of the monster, but his flames would still activate either way. Maybe they would see some damage this time around? Maybe not... it was hard to know until the flames and dust truly settled.
