Once the blast had ceased, Joseph looked in the distance, having his contacts scan the area for any sign of the Android. Joseph lowered his hands and took a breath. “Did Mona use that Kamehameha when she fought you? I bet mine was better-hmm?” Joseph looked in the distance, fuddled by the lack of banter and attack. His contacts scanned. After a few moments, the dust settled, and the connections pinged to alert him to something in the distance, her sword, only her sword, then a realized he his error. She had done a similar trick during a previous spar.
Before he could move, Yua had seized the opportunity to strike, firing several purple bolts of energy that bombarded him, sending him stumbling back as they exploded from all angles peppering in a series of sharp stings that his clothes could only partly dampen. It didn’t end there. Yua was upon him before he was afforded his footing, a horizontal slash colliding across his chest. The blade struck with a loud thud,. Likely to the Paladin’s surprise, the blade would cut through the gui or undershirt, showing the materials to be uncannily sturdy. However, its impact made it through. A heavy shock of pain jolted through his chest and radiated to his arms and spine. The Demi-Earthling landed prone on his back and was left open two blast that hit him like two pinches. Joseph jumped back up to his feet as Yua approached the child, contrary to her expecting him to move back, meeting the General mid-approach. The moment she stuck her out, ready to unleash a hellish flurry, Joseph shot his hand forward, hitting just beneath her chest with an open hand. Yua would feel a jolt enter through her as the flow of power was disrupted. A spark of electricity was all that came from the Android’s hand. The Paladin was on the move. Joseph watched her as he took a breath, focusing on restoring his reserves. He noticed her moving toward the planet’s sun and positioned her hands to the side of her head. All too familiar with what gesture heralded, Joseph quickly shut his eyes tight. The overwhelming brightness ravaged his vision. He instinctively backpedaled while his eyelids twitched in irritation. A twinge of annoyance hit the boy. He didn't like being on the other side of this move and he attributed his earlier lapse as to why she had the chance for such a maneuver. The Paladin followed with another cross slash at his body. Joseph grunted in pain as the edge of her blades started to cut through his gui and bite at the skin beneath. Before he knew it, her leg made contact, and literary exploded on him, sending the child flying back across the lands of Odin. Joseph landed on his back, coughed, and rolled over to his side. His eyes were still closed, as that was his only means of nursing them. He slowly opened them and squinted as he focused on distorted shapes, specifically the red and white blur he recognized as Yua. A golden aura erupted from Joseph as crackles of blue lightning sparked around him. He had finally unveiled his true strength, and he suspected Yua knew he had held it back until now. He had lost the momentum he had maintained throughout this fight. However, there was some good in the Android getting those hits on him. It let him measure the strength behind her blows in the absence of a perceptible energy signature. For now, he would have to brave the storm and wait for his vision to recover.

Joseph really wasn’t prepared for the damage that he would take, so it was well worth it. He hadn’t managed his resources in the fight, and held back so much that he was without his full power. Not until he was sent flying away and was beaten into the ground by most of her attacks. He had canceled her strongest attack launched, but she was honestly fine with that. The blinded child did his best, and the android moved in for further attacks against Joe. He may have powered himself to his full, but that was on his backfoot. The android leveraged her full strength as she didn’t leave his side, even as he was launched away by the kick. Her weapons were out in full now, as they caught on with purple and pink fire, as she grinned at him. “Sorry, this may get a little hot.” It was at he started to get up that he found the blades rushed in, the crimson one aimed at his body, as the white blade flew at his ribs on the side she had already broken through his gui with her earlier technique. This movement was made so swiftly that Joe would not have time to fully dodge or back, as she ended it with a draw back of her swords before she slashed in a spin movement that would go to his shoulder area. A fully brutal strike with swords that glowed in unnaturally colored flames. She was hardly finished, however, as the android narrowed her gaze and moved forward, as she spun in the air and slashed as she spun around with a bit more speed than normal, as she slashed at him like she was trying to bisect him from head to pelvis. He wasn’t really in the head space for this, was he? The android smiled lightly as she stopped and then launched right at Joe yet again, only the briefest of breaths given. Blad igniting once more, the flurry of blows would have seemed like they struck all at once, doubly so as she struck with both of swords. They rained at vitals areas. All seven as she pressed forward. And slashed at his back as she flashed stepped behind him. The frontal assaults had started to kick up dust again, though she was sure that whatever lenses he used couldn’t see her through such dust. The android stayed even closer to him than ever, as her limbs gave her only so much advantage against his smaller form. He would need to actually try to get away from her, but they continued their fight on an even more uneven ground that ever, thanks to his earlier attack. She was ready to go back into her aggressive mode once he was done with his little defenses. Actions: 1-3. Even while flying back from the explosive kick, the vague shape of Yua was pursuing him. The child’s fuddled vision could make only a slight glint as she brandished her swords, though it was enough for the child to prompt Joseph to form another layer of white aura to shield himself. Joseph raised his arms and curled into a guard as the Android apologized before unleashing her most relentless flurry yet. Her blades collided with his shielded arms sending out loud clangs and thuds as each blow sent the child pedaling back farther with each contact. Joseph took steady breaths as he yielded to each strike and turned toward each blade to divert some of its force. Eventually, the shield started flickering, and the force of the strikes reached the boy’s arms, making them throb in pain. He gritted his teeth, baring the pain and frustration, wishing that he could put his speed to work instead to avoid the blades altogether. Still, it would have been foolish to bounce around these wreaked grounds trying to dodge someone he could barely see, let alone who did have ki compensate for that. Joseph’s ki flared as blue flames erupted from the child, rushing to engulf the Paladin. "It did," Joseph said. He hoped the fire would give as good as he was getting in this assault. Joseph’s eyes began to clear. A red and white blur, now a terminator waifu once more. The boy reeled farther back as the white aura became thinner before completely shattering against the weight of her blades, leading to a blue aura flashing as it absorbed some of the remaining force. Joseph’s arms remained up as they shook in response to the throbbing pains. The spun before him, still bathed in the colorful flames. Joseph clicked his wrist together. A pair of blue metallic gauntlets layered over his cuffs in a split second. He turned toward the slash, meeting it amid its spin. A loud clang sounded. The gauntlets shattered into shards like glass as the child was sent skidding back. He was starting to think Yua made more attempts to cut him in half than Chaos did. Joseph flinched as Yua came in with another flurry at a pace that made the strikes appear as if they came all at once. However, akin to his crushing blows earlier, it was an illusion. Green eyes narrowed as he focused on the blade and its wielders. Joseph backed away in brisk steps, leaning and shifting from the path of each of the slashes. No elaborate acrobatics, no darting about at supersonic speeds. Joseph may not have looked that fast compared to the General, but he was fast enough. Each duck, weave, and pivot was automatic, some just enough to let the General’s weapon brush against gui and shirt harmlessly. Yua broke off into another burst of speed. Joseph could see her circling him at blurring speed in an attempt to get behind him. The child quickly spun to follow and pushed his hands out, forming another circular shield of ki. It stood in the way of her blade and sent out a discharge of energy to repel the Android and threatening to encase her in ice. Joseph flicked his wrist, throwing down a pellet of ki that exploded into a thick cloud of ki that rapidly spread throughout the battlefield.

Joe went into an extreme defensive posturing again, and he was pretty good at that. Despite the fact that he could defend himself this well, he still expended more resources against the android, as she placed even more pressure upon the child. He likely started to tire, as he had to restore quite the amount of ki. It was, of course, to be expected from mortals. Even if the kid was tough, that didn’t make him immune to the effects of organic biology. Still, she was glad to see that he took plenty of her attacks with a lot less effectiveness than before, not just fully avoiding damage. His pressure forced him to use that icicle attack again, but she had seen that as she smiled. “Did you think that you were the only one with that move?”His ice turned into flames that surrounded the android in a brilliant purple and pink flame aura that she smiled about. He wasn’t a bad combatant, but when he used all of these, it was inevitable that his repetition would turn in against him. She hadn’t asked if the boy had been to the Fire Temple, but by the way that the burning shield of his hurt her, it was likely. Though, to his dismay, so had Yua. This transmutation was simply to take away his attempt to force her into less action than before. When she formed the shield, she had been forced to throw her sword into the ground. Then he attacked with another smoke bomb, but he had already used that before as well. She swiped her hand forward and slashed the ki ball into a little piece of nothing as the crimson sword absorbed the smoke and ki into nothing as she smiled lightly. The blade continued its path sword Joseph's arm that had produced the smoke bomb. “No, you’re not getting another one of those off.” It was like he thought that repeating tactics that he had used would work against her. He was severely mistaken. Now she had him again on the backfoot as she pressured him with her strength. Even if he thought he had everything in his hands, he didn’t have the pressure, and she pressed her advantage as she stabbed her sword forward with blinding speed, not helped that it was almost the same color as the very ground of Odin. She had turned her body so that her other hand was hidden from his vision. She then brought that about in an arc with a swift hand as she swung for where she had pierced his gui. He was no longer as armored as he usually was, and that meant that he had a weak spot that he’d have to desperately defend. Yua was aggressive to the point that Joe likely didn't see the Yua that he knew. That much should have been expected as she had warned him. She wouldn't be aiming for non-vital parts. His power forced her to go for kill shots with every swing, every thrust of her blades. It was the only way that her programming would let her fight against a more powerful opponent. Actions: 1. Smiling, of all things, wasn’t the expression he expected Yua to make after having dealt with the effects of the technique earlier. He watched as the energy changed in color and shape as it surrounded the Android in the form of a fiery cloak, similar to how he had done with her eye lasers. She went on to no-sale his next move destroying his smoke bomb and absorbing its energy into her sword and saying she wouldn’t let him get that move off again Joseph almost wanted to scoff in annoyance as he turned his arm, meeting Yua’s sword with his cuffs. Two moves that had gotten him a great deal of momentum earlier both swatted away. Admittedly, the boy felt he should have expected no less from the General. The half-Saiyan backpedaled from the Android. It felt like they were back to where he started, with Yua relentlessly pursuing him, except this time, he hadn’t managed to slow her down. Yua followed with a swift thrust of her sword. He pivoted with a quick jerk, turning his body from the sword’s path before backpedaling to put more distance between him and the tenacious opposition. He noted her shift in position that kept one of her blades out of his line of sight, which made him wary. Though the blade was hidden from his sight, how Yua turned alerted him to the path of her next strike. He caught the blade in the corner of his eye and quickly leaned deeply, almost becoming parallel with the ground. As he dropped beneath the sword's path. Where she aimed the swing reminded him of what Yua had warned him about, each move carried out with lethal intent. It was a factor that excited and perturbed him. The moment the blade passed him, Joseph snapped upward and lunged at the Android, shooting a set of four jabs at her stomach, moving closer with each one before arcing his other hand to slam an uppercut under her chin. He could feel the fires burning against him, but he bared the pain, confident that his protective clothes and time in the fire temple would let him endure it well enough for the pressure to be worth it. If he wanted to turn this fight around he'd need to be the aggressor. If dominating Aria in a grapple or how long he had Chaos on the backfoot were any indication, it worked quite well whenever he could do so and keep it up. Joseph continued his attack, launching a barrage of punches to her stomach. They shot rapidly, seeming to roll off each other, each one coming just before the first would have hit its mark. After the final punch, Joseph raised a leg and snapped it forward at the Android’s torso to push her back. He wasn’t done. He rushed toward her at a blurring speed. Just before he would have gone back into her reach, Joseph turned and ran around Yua in a circle. She wouldn’t be raised into the air this time, though. He was mainly trying to throw her off. After circling her a few times, Joseph began sending punches and kicks her way, throwing punches at her face and ribs as well as kicks at the side of her knees and at her heels as he continued circling around the Android. Joseph closed the assault by throwing a final punch at her face before zipping back to dart away from her. Then he remembered a certain move he hadn’t used on the Paladin yet.

Well, was this really all that he had? The android narrowed her gaze as the child rushed after her and attacked with the fury of a small and angry wasp. She swung towards the kid as she smashed her fists against his as she forced him to face against her prodigious strength against his full form strength. That allowed her to match his speed against her strength, as his blows failed to live up to her full strength. His strength was less than her own, but as she noted, he was at least closer. His final blow was merely pushed aside as she then slammed her foot into the ground as she launched herself into the air as the ki moved about on the uneven ground. He swung, but with the even more uneven ground and dust, it gave her just enough time to get away from his grasp. She landed quickly afterwards as she lowered herself on the ground, and shot her leg out and hit Joeseph against his stomach with her legs, as she smiled lightly, before she launched back into the air above Joe as she pulled her arms above her head and slammed both fists, aimed against his back for maximum damage. He was a wriggly little one, so she went back on the offensive as she swung herself back into action as she followed after him as she spun in the air and slammed her weapon towards his chest, though perhaps it was closer to say that it was a follow up to the hammer smash she had done to his back with the counter attack. She followed that up with that as she jumped at him as she narrowed her eyes and then snap kicked at his stomach as she gave him a much harder blow than just that as ki exploded out from her kick. She landed not far away, and bounded back for him, as she grunted. He was sure going for an evasive style that didn't suit well to fighting her that well. Not so far, anyway. She still had aces up her sleeve that she had yet to show him. Of course, that didn't mean that Joe didn't have even more that he had still up his own. The assault didn’t go as expected, she had decided to meet him head-on, meeting his fist with her own and keeping up with his pace better than he would have expected or liked. Speed wouldn’t get him far against a solid wall. She had jumped over the second set of blows and dropped beneath the third before launching her feet into his stomach, sending him into the air and knocking the air out of his lungs. He was denied the time to recover when Yua quickly met him in the air. Joseph gritted his teeth to brace himself for the pain as blue flames enveloped him before the hammer blow crashed into his back, sending him hurling down and flipping over to where he faced the Android, who was moving in before he could even hit the ground.
As Yua swung her blade at his chest, Joseph raised his hands and formed another thin blue shield of ki. Her sword struck the shield that flashed and sent out a discharge that would knock the Paladin back while snaring her in its energy. The move was far too fun to give up on, and he knew a transmutation technique she utilized was on its cooldown like his was.
Joseph curled and did a backward flip, becoming right-side up in time to land on Odin with two feet on the ground. He was only there for a moment before the Paladin jumped at him, snapping a leg out to kick him. Joseph stepped to the side and turned with a jerk to move from the path of the kick. The half-Saiyan could see the kick pass him before making a small explosion.
The Demi-Earthling began moving his arms up and down rapidly. His arms began to blur, and it looked like he had four arms on each side before he rushed at Yua again and began shooting a barrage of punches at her, sending barrage of punches that targeted her face and body seemingly at random as he pressed forward, sending nearly a dozen blows. Compared to the Mystic Teapot techniques from earlier, they didn’t have that same power. It was simply a flurry to drive the Android back.
After the first combination, Joseph began circling around the Android, not wanting to be caught being too linear again. He ran around her in a circle, rushing in and shooting punches at her face and different parts of her body before darting out of her reach and then moving back in to continue on her opposite side, launching punches as kicks from multiple angles. The second combination ended with Joseph nearly jumping up as he launched an uppercut at the Android’s chin.
Joseph lurched at Yua to continue his multi-arm attack. The child pressed forward as he attempted to pepper her with punches and elbows from seemingly every direction; jaw, temples, stomach, and sides were all targets in his flurry of blows as he moved closer into Yua’s space before hoping up and knee at her stomach to close the final combination.

It seemed that Joe believed that he had the fully control of this, but he was just someone that repeated their same actions over and over again. She grunted as he activated the fire, but as usual, it wasn't something that he took full advantage of. Instead, he decided to try the icy defense again. Normally, one couldn't get a third use of this move, but he would have noticed that her weapon smashed right through the icy wind as she used a combination of her immense strength and her fury at seeing him repeat this tactic over and over again. She ground her teeth as the ice blew apart into beutiful snowy flakes for but a moment as the air became super heated thanks to his flame shield and sparks.
The ki infused kick was dodged, though she guessed that was just something that she should have thought he'd do. She landed and then the kid used Hassenken, a technique that the android also knew. Her eyes or body language didn't give away that she knew what he was up to, however, as she cracked her knuckles as he rushed right at her. His swings, though likely faster than her own, met with her fists as she knew the attack patterns typically used with this technique. Since he wasn't a being with these amount of arms normally, he only had so many options.
That said, since she had gotten used to his movements long ago, she already had his ways and means down. He just continued with his motions, as he started to circle yet again. She had seen this all before, so he didn't even come close to catch her off-guard yet again. He continued his silly little game, however, as she slipped and slid now, as she had gotten used to his speed and had used the earlier blocks to accurately check the length of his arms against her own. He didn't have anything new against the android, as she had seen this entire play already, two or three times by now. His circling was just easy to read by this point, especially without any speed bosting techniques used.
It was then that her psychic energy kicked in as she weaved away from his finisher to the attacks, as she just moved her head to the side as he uppercut the air in front of her. Her pink hair fluttered as she smirked at him. He was now predictable, as he brought nothing new to the table. This must have triggered it, as she saw him move into a slower range of movement. He would have found these dodges prescient, almost like she knew where he swung, even if he barely thought of them just on the fly. She swung her body in such a way that it looked like a dance compared to his random and wild swings.
But that was all that he got. As he went for the blow to her stomach, she pushed at him from Odin's ground as she crushed yet more of Odin's flesh as she used his momentum and swung at blade at his chest like a baseball bat. It wasn't a counter, so it wasn't so immediate that he'd get chopped in half. Maybe a half second delay longer? But she didn't give him the chance to rest as she turned and swung the other sword with precision at his back with a grin on her face, as she aimed to score a slice in a diagonal cut along his back.
She needed to keep this pace. This was the only option. For the time being, she needed to keep in mind that he was still stronger in the speed division, so she needed to use everything to her advantage, and that included terrain.

Joseph was sure that Yua would have relied on brute force to break out of the ice if it had encased her. He didn’t expect her to simply smash through the wave of energy. He witnessed flakes of snow form from the vestiges of the attack and quickly melt, a sight he would have taken time to appreciate if he were not dealing with a robot brandishing two swords and moving with deadly intent. Her blocks and evasion of his assault did not surprise him. The main difference of note was the output of strikes. The boy thought that his strikes would land if he kept moving from her center and kept throwing hits, but she was keeping even at this level. He recalled that Yua had analyzed his speed fairly quickly during one of their sparring matches. Her retaliation as a rather unorthodox slash, swinging like she was going for a home run. Joseph raised his hands and raised the blue shield once more, intercepting the blow and sending out another burst of blue energy and cold winds. It was axiomatic that she’d likely have an answer for this counter-effect. Even so, it protected him from the strike, and Yua would be in trouble if she did not repel the blast. The General’s next move was going for a strike on the child’s back. He quickly turned a 180 to follow the Android’s movements and saw her going for a diagonal slash. The Demi-Earthling moved and stepped toward her, raising an arm up to meet hers midway through her swing before turning and swiping it to the side, steering the Android’s arm and blade from its path. However, after circling his hand, he didn’t pull it away but instead snatched it to try to clamp his hands down on Yua’s forearm painfully tight before shooting his other hand at her jaw before releasing his other hand and striking at her neck. Joseph bounded back in a flip and widened his stance upon his landing. He raised his hands, curling his fingers and raising them, positioning them to mimic the jaws of a wolf. Joseph dashed forward with the hands drawn and then launched his hands forward, shooting two quick punches, each targeting a side of her ribcage(or where one would be if she was organic) before jerking forward, shooting both hands at once to nail her stomach and with a double punch. Hoping that his body strikes would goad her to guard her body, Joseph shot two more punches at her cheek at her neck and cheek before shooting his hand up for an open palm to hit her under the chin. Afterward rotated to her flank and began stepping back briskly but carefully. This terrain was a hindrance to his footwork and, in turn, his setting up his punches. However, there was a move he had not yet used, one that would be quite helpful in traversing rough terrain. Joseph lowered down, one leg forward, one leg back, as he set a hand on the ground. He suddenly began spinning in place. Golden ki enveloped him, making him look like a spinning ball. A revving could be heard as the ground below the child crunched as dust was kicked up behind him. The golden ball began rolling forward in a burst of speed. A sonic boom echoed as the child rocketed on its way to ram into the Android. At the last moment before he'd be in her reach, he'd seem to disappear for a few moments before coming behind her and bouncing up to hit in her the back of the head and he'd keep spinning against her occiput and upperback threatening to cut through her like a buzzsaw through wood. The child then bounced into the air, rising meters above the ground as raised his hands over his head, blue flames swirling over his head merging together to form the shape of a sphere that grew to the size of a beachball, heat waves appeared around the child as the blue fire ball casted like over the entire area. "Praise the Sun." Joeph said, though given he once had to explain the story of Batman too her, this statement would be rather esoteric for the Paladin. He then the fireball down to land on the android where it would burst and make an explosion that spread 20 feet through the area.

Well, it wasn’t like she knew any of her attacks would land, but to see that ice trick against didn’t matter. He just used it again like she wouldn’t notice. He had nothing original to show the android, as her sword bashed against the ice wall yet again, and again it shattered into little pieces. Though neither had taken damage from that exchange, that didn’t mean that he hadn’t used up a far more valuable resource. In all honesty, Joe burned through so many that Yua thought that he had wasted a great deal. But that wasn’t what was important right now. She grunted and moved as he moved her arm aside, but she found that he gripped her arm. Unfortunately for him, there was little to no pain felt as she had cut the feeling to her arm as he moved it out of the way and held it. Two shots aimed at her face and neck were slightly diverted, so that his blows were off their mark, but it wasn’t much. Her face didn’t matter, and nor did a blow to the neck. He must have forgotten that though Yua was human shaped, she didn’t rely on her looks or a windpipe. He must have forgotten, because it only succeeded in annoying the android. His next blows hurt more than before, punches that he rained against the android. But this too, she knew. It seemed like he thought she would go for a strategy that was to take no damage, but that just wasn’t her style, that was his. Though he struck at her, he would find that she still didn’t look away from him. The look was uncanny, almost an uncaring glare. And then he telegraphed his next attack. It was a popular trick, but it wasn’t anything special to the General. He charged up just a bit, and then rushed at her like a gerbil that wanted that damn kernel of food! He moved and then she pushed off the ground and vanished a few moments as well. He rushed right past her as she grunted, her arm extended from the ground- she had scanned him earlier, and had continued to use her arm like a measuring stick. The android was not fooled by his attempts to strike her so straightforwardly. He had moved right at her, did he think she’d just stand there against that kind of technique? Foolishness. The General landed not far away as the boy put on a light show. He said something about ‘praise the sun’, and though he likely thought she didn’t get it, the android had downloaded enough knowledge to know it. Unfortunately for the kid, she didn’t really move. “Good thing the little 'sun' you produced ain’t shit,” she retorted as she was struck by the fireball, emphasizing how she didn't think much about his little fireball. Though it burned, the fire was soon snuffed out as the android had pulled her arms to the side. Though it was unlike much else, her eyes glowed crimson as she had opened up her chest through an unseen mechanism within her mimetic polyalloy body. As he was finished with his assault, the boy was now in a spot where he thought hat he was safe. He was not. The air was no escape as Yua’s chest suddenly let forth a brilliant light that was seen only once before, she she had fought against Mona. From her position, the pink and yellow light flared out much like a beam, but then the bombardment started to explode everywhere. 20 feet around her, the flames were snuffed into wisps of smoke as the entire skyline and everything about it flared into destruction as if a nuclear explosion had went off as she had used one of her more devastating attacks. The force of it would have blown the android over if she wasn’t anchored to the ground. But that wasn’t all, as she pushed off of it while Joe couldn’t see. The devastation had destroyed even more of the planet, though she had been sure to fire so that the surface wasn't entirely destroyed. Her next move would not disappoint either, as she put more pressure on Joe, as she looked like she would have struck him in the face with her fist like a sword, but it was only in the last moment that lightning could be seen to crackle around her fist as she attempted to spear him through the chest. Odin had been cleared away in preparation for battle, but Keres had chosen not to leave. She was doing some research on the various minerals on the planet, and felt it a bit pertinent to get the samples now before Yua turned them all to dust. If worse came to worst than she could always IT away in a jiffy, but she was a bit aways from that battle so she figured she had time, at least until she felt the energies in use. Now she knew she had time, unless Yua got frustrated with the infamous boy who dragged out battles only to lose again and again. She had a bone to pick with that boy as well. He had made a number of faulty promises that had reached her ears, and she knew for a fact he was not supposed to be on Odin, or even Avalon, right now. She would definitely inform his mother after this was all over, but unless Yua did a fine job of beating and lecturing him here and now, she didn’t think the message would get across. The child was crafty as well, and a fine liar, so Yua probably didn’t know anything about this before inviting him here. She didn’t know what to lecture him on. That . didn’t sit well. Keres summoned her staff and ‘watched’ the battle with closed eyes. With Yua’s new organic parts, she could sense the bio-androids movements as well as the Super Saiyan. It definitely wasn’t a match of fireworks, not to start. She did feel the boy’s power rise higher, and could almost hear the trademark cry of a certain finisher, but was too far away to actually hear Joseph. And then it quieted again. Yua was going too easy on him, but while the general had an impressive record in war, and could be counted on more than most in such a setting, her record for friendly one on one battles was quite lacking. The Battle Sisters were for that, real battles. They rolled in deep with no mercy, set on a specific task. War was very different from a single fighter versus a single fighter, and if it weren’t for the boy's impressive track record of losses, one might think he was taking advantage of the general for that lack of experience. Perhaps it was time to give him a proper lesson. It wouldn’t do well for the boy to get an even larger ego. Right now he was almost comparable to the one called Tarble, rolling into battles half cocked and unprepared. He was a child, and despite all that power, he acted as a child, desperate to play hero without actually knowing how to save lives. No, he needed another loss, but could Yua accomplish it? Speaking of ill prepared, the battle android was especially that, and Keres let out a sigh. ”Alright,” she said, ”Let’s make this more interesting. A nice little interruption wouldn’t hurt things.”Resting her staff in the dirt, her eyes stayed closed, but a breeze seemed to pass by, lifting her short hair up before causing it to sway across her cheeks. Her power level didn’t rise, but she unlocked the door for it, a thin white aura surrounding her. She looked deeper inside her into the depths of her being where countless doors sat neatly closed. It would be wrong to say she wasn’t a prison. The summoner tied many spirits to their very soul in order to invoke them at will. Some were there willingly, and their door was just an entrance way to the home they made for themselves. Most were like this, but some were chained here, bound to her will and control. In this place, her appearance made the weaker spirits dance around making her heart feel aflutter as she moved through them. Stopping at one door she opened it only after knocking and was greeted by a happy dog. The spirit behind this door took the shape of an autumn samurai. His kimono was beautiful, its fabric matching the shades of the sunset, with a sword clasped to his side. He didn’t speak and merely waited for her approach. He was a willing spirit, as long as she kept him well paid, and he seemed the appropriate one to call upon now. She lifted her hand to give the proper offerings, and he nodded respectfully in contractual agreement. Her eyes opened and the white aura flared again before turning into those muted colors of fallen leaves and then she vanished, reappearing within the battlefield. Yua seemed to have finally gone in heavy, but the sword for hire was already paid, so now Joseph would be victim to the weight of two powerful Paladins. Life wasn’t fair after all. She swung her staff forward, and her aura rushed past it, taking the shape of that samurai in something akin to a mirage except her power built rapidly with every graceful step he took in his swift rush. His blade was unsheathed and he stopped right in front of the boy before swinging. He stopped in case the boy fled, ready to change the direction of his blade, but once swung, his entire aura-made presence snapped into that slice and became a giant disk of vicious ki that cut through the air faster than the blade that created it. Just like how the power of the attack grew with each of his steps, the disk grew larger the further it moved, ready to cut the entire battlefield in half if it could not reach its target. It could kill a weaker opponent, but as much criticism as she had for the boy, she was confident he could at least survive this much. Probably. ”You’ll have to excuse me Yua,” she said, her eyes closing in an easy smile. ”I think this boy needs a stronger hand. I hope you don’t mind the help.”She did feel a little badly for interrupting a private training session, but the bioandroid did look a tad frustrated with the boy’s tactics so far. Keres doubted she minded very much, meanwhile Joseph was a good deal stronger than both of them. This didn’t seem very unfair. She wasn’t very prepared for battle either. She had just been collecting rocks after all. ”Some teamwork now?” she offered, then swung her staff again before Joseph could get any ideas for lulls, sending a rush of wind that popped open like a firework once it reached him, filling the air with a thick mist. He couldn’t help but feel satisfaction from landing those three combinations, even if it seemed like the Android was very affected by them. Yua’s cold look and lack of pain would have been harrowing to the boy had it not been for something she had told him in the Astral Realm. He remembered that she explained that he outclassed her in all physical areas but strength. The Paladin did not realize how strong of a psychological advantage she had given up by saying that. Aria had terrified him on Kelioux because she seemed impervious to his attacks, not seeming like she’d ever go down, able to keep going until damage and exhaustion enfeebled him to a point where’d she eventually break him physically. Such an advantage was lost to Yua. It didn’t matter if she didn’t act hurt because he knew her breaking point was lower than his, and he knew if he were on the other end of these punches, enough of them would ruin his day. The Demi-Earthling looked down as Yua stood as the fireball came down, brazenly insulting it right before she took it head-on like the tank of the woman she was. As Joseph descended toward the ground, he saw her eyes give off an eerie red glow as her chest opened up. He felt a pang of anxiety hit him, and he quickly held his hands together before slowly spreading them apart as a red orb of ki formed in the space between them, becoming hotter and brighter with each moment. The boy had an apprehension about what he was about to do, but Instant transmission was off the table, given that the only ki within his perception was his own. Yua’s bombardment was unleashed, and Joseph detonated his own blast, quickly separating his hands as the crimson orb exploded, exerting a destructive force that met Yua’s blast head-on; Joseph was held in the air by the force of his attack. The struggle between the energies shook the planet to its core as light drowned out everything. Eventually the quaking ceased and the lights eventually dimmed and vanished, and Joseph huffed as he made his way to the ground. His contacts focused in on Yua, outlining the Android as she swiftly and inexorably pursued him in the smoke. He harder had time to before she thrusted her hand at his chest, only being able to move enough to make her hit a part of his gui she didn't cut though and reeling back so her hand didn't go right through him. Joseph groaned in pain as he was struck back by blunt force and electricity and as he was sent back skidding on his soles riding, he breathed heavily as he felt his heart beating at an unsettling rapidity. "You can sure go big when you want to,"Joseph said as his as he held his chest. He panted fatigued from having used that gargantuan blast after how much ki he had already used as well from the stress of what he had narrowly avoided. Then something caught his attention. Another woman suddenly appeared on the battlefield. Joseph jumped back to gain distance. His history of facing deadly interruptions made him wary of people who came to his fights unexpectedly. The moment the interloper swung her staff, Joseph turned into a ball once again and rolled in the other direction, quickly gaining speed as he traversed the ruined land smoothly, like a set of wheels on the road. Joseph could sense a power quickly rising as it followed him. The child continued forward even during the brief pause. He felt a shift in the energy. It quickly gained on the golden ball, ravaging the Earth in its way before slicing through the golden ball, splitting it in two. The ball faded a split second after. If his movements weren’t beyond the perception of the Paladins, they would have seen Joseph push his hands against the ground before pushing off, launching into the air, and shooting himself meters over the arc of the disc. He looked down as the disc quickly passed under him, tearing through the land in its path. “Whoa, cool,” Joseph said. He watched it as he made his landing. He turned around and took a better look at Keres. He was initially confused to see her standing by Yua so casually after interrupting them he heard her talk to the General, asking to have her interjection excused and giving her reasoning. “Oh, you’re a Paladin. You're of the Master rank right?” Joseph said. He figured she had to he either or to have clearance to stay on the Planet when it was meant to be cleared for Yua's purposes. Either way it was a relief, at least compared to the many misaligned interlopers to enter his battles. “You could have asked ya know? but I’ll run with it.” The Half-Saiyan watched as something ignited from her staff and made a mist that covered the area. Joseph clapped his hands together, sounding a thunderous crash echoing as a shockwave blew away the fog. The presence of the other Paladin made him tentative to rush at them. Joseph took a breath and channeled his aura. Tiny blue embers manifested faintly glowing as they hovered around the half-Saiyan. It might not have looked like much, but the ward he raised would considerably dampen their attacks and shield him from potential lingering effects. Now feeling safer with some cover Joseph ran toward Yua while keeping eyes on both the woman in front of him. He stopped in arms length her and put his hands by his head. "Solar Flare" Joseph said, in a literal flash bright light erupted from there the kid was standing with intent to assault her optics and render her blind. Hopefully it would give him time set up and attack on them both. Keres may have been the fresher fight but Joseph considered Yua the most dangerous element since she couldn't help but go for the kill.

Joseph spoke over her attack but seemed to still have time to defuse it. That was fine. If he kept using his time so poorly it would eventually bite him in the ass, and his cocky demeanor was what she had been warned about. He merely received a quiet smile, her mismatched gaze fixing on him with a dangerous look. It was very difficult to read. Her eyes felt very old, far beyond her physical age which was probably early twenties. It wasn’t quite malice, or even something condescending. It was something more neutral and blank. She wasn’t looking at him as an opponent, but she wasn’t looking at him kindly as she would a child. He was a rebellious adolescent. She wouldn’t show him anything of her intentions so he might misconstrue them. He would simply have to learn. He lunged at Yua, which was perfect for her. The other Paladin needed the time to recover. She was already slowing from Joseph’s earlier attack, even if she would never admit to it, so a further slow down would suit her well to regain her bearings. Joseph should know better than to leave an opponent unmanned, especially one so acutely aware of wardings. Joseph ran, and Keres picked up her own steps kicking off the ground and shooting towards him as his blinding light unleashed. She swung her staff swiftly, aiming for his skull, seeming content to crush it. He assumed she was a Paladin, and he assumed she wasn’t a malicious force, but the previous attack could easily have killed him or at the very least dismembered him, and now she went for the head in a blow that could kill a weaker being. The logic before him said he had miscalculated, and while Keres had no killing intent, she had no aura of anything, similar to Yua’s robotic rush. The strength of the hit wasn’t his worst worry either. The staff itself sparked with dangerous energy and any impact would send a sharp electric jolt through his nervous system that his ward seemed to do nothing to counter. Her arms pulled the stave back as she ducked low, and she slammed it forward again, this time up under his small chin in an attempt to knock his head off. She pivoted, following him and the staff sparked brighter before she swung again this time short but it didn’t matter because the light erupted from it crossing his eyes and splitting the battle field in two once more sending his vision spinning into darkness with that electricity sparking like red lights that did nothing to actually help him see. If she couldn’t unleash her worst with such a guarding, she still wouldn’t give him the time to either.

He had wasted enough of Yua's time, but he instead decided to use even more ki to cancel out one of her moves that could have finished the battle, or at least winded it down significantly. The android was not all that bothered by it, since the boy had at least used far more ki than she in his attempt to defend against her onslaught. That then threw her other parameters, as he slapped her hand as she had attempted to spear the boy through the chest, as she had thought that he would do. He had used yet another precious resource to defend against her little blow, some that she believed he thought as relatively useful here. It wasn't. But it seemed that Joe thought that she had told him that, in the Astral Realm, to give him hope. That wasn't the case. It was just a note for him to have- though he surpassed her in many parameters, he lacked experience. True experience, not against these little Earthling enemies that he seemed content to fight against, besides the odd other fight or two. But it seemed that Odin was not quite as empty as Yua had thought, as another ki signature showed up. Yua was fairly certain that she had all of the Valkyries sent away, so this was either another Paladin or really bad news for the two of them. But the ki signature was known to her, so it wasn't longer than a moment as she realized that this was Keres. "Help?" She really wasn't the type to accept help on something like this, but she was not against the Summoner's assistance here. Joe was quite a stranger warrior to face, in that he was like a quick turtle. The issues with a turtle, however, was that once they ran out defenses, they would be quickly done in. This is what the child had done to himself, as he had expended a lot of resources against the android. The attack used against him turned him into a little ball as he ran around like a little ball. Samus Aran, if she recalled, but it didn’t matter much. The attack made the boy scamper like a rat, before he eventually came back up and rushed at the android. He gave away the game, however, when he thrust his hands up and Yua closed her eyes and placed her arms in front of her, before hr shouted his words and used the same move she had against him earlier. The arm movement was not as swift as Joe’s own hand motions, but her eyelids closed before he could get the words out and shine that light in her eyes. But, that didn't matter, as the light blinded her as she growled against the pain of it, as she knew that he would have also been put on the backfoot. But if he thought that Keres was any less dangerous, than he must have been smoking something at his age. This was a fight, even if it was to teach him a lesson. There would not be a lot of mercy until the end. Only after that, she jabbed a syringe into her arm as she grunted, “Then let's team up for this.” Yua was no longer the android that Joe knew- she likely would have protested against this if she was. He had triggered this. And now he was going to have to deal with two Paladins. As she thought on that, an aura flared around the android for but a moment as the nanobots within her surged once again to restore just a little more energy to her systems. 1. Stun 2. Stun 3.
