Frieza VS Juch
Juch — 04/25/2023 10:47 AM
A sudden vortex materialized, its jagged edges tearing through the fabric of time and space, as a cacophony of dissonant frequencies filled the air. The atmosphere crackled with electricity, the scent of burnt metal heavy and pervasive. The wind howled, violently flinging debris across the landscape as Juch stumbled out of the portal. As he emerged from the swirling portal, the air crackled with electrical energy and the ground trembled.
His once sleek and shining exterior was now battered and broken, with deep gouges and ripped circuitry marring his originally heavily armored suit. Taking the damage against that warhead may have been a suboptimal strategy, but it had kept the time machine from harm long enough to send them all back safely--at least, that was what Juch had hoped.
Now with his optical sensors blurry, he couldn't exactly see where he had emerged to. His knees buckling, the android collapsed on the ground, slamming face first into the terrain.
---
He wasn't sure when he woke up back on Grace. But in the end, Juch seemed to have made it out okay. There was a period of time of extensive repairs, but with that being over and with his mind finally cleared up a bit, Juch decided to make a call to a certain monkey.
He dialed in the number on his cell and waited.
Yan — 04/27/2023 1:06 PM
Yan hadn’t bothered to check and see if Juch and Anna made it back. They were both capable adults and could figure out their own shit. Probably. Neither had replied to his text, so neither concerned him and he went right on his way with finishing his date with Yua and readjusting himself to the current timeline.
It was a little bit later when his phone rang with the familiar four letters and a ringtone that no longer made sense to him. He thought about changing it, but was still holding onto some off chance things would return to how they were, and the ringtone was a reminder of that. He didn’t have it in him to erase things.
“Cass Dance Academy,” he answered. “We are providing a 50% discount to all androids~” The Steel Legion had most certainly proven they needed it.

Dance Academy.
Juch let out a small chuckle; looking back on it now, it was just another surreal wrench thrown into the works--but, it worked out tremendously in their favor; otherwise, with both the missile that landed on top of their heads in addition to the Control Units, the situation had been dire indeed.
"I know of a group that could use your services, but I don't think they have the time these days."
"I just wanted to say thanks, y'know? There were many factors in salvaging the precarious situation we were in, but yours proved to be the most decisive one."
Yan — Yesterday at 2:28 PM
“For what?” Yan asked, and the tilt of his head could almost be heard in his words. It wasn’t that he didn’t have an idea what Juch was talking about, he just didn’t do it knowing it would help him. Well, he had reasoned the control units were likely going to Juch and had put added pressure on them, but that was merely because he thought that would be funniest. Big five million power levels reduced to a dance off was pretty amusing.
“I was hardly aware you were there~” he added, in his usual coy way to act haughty when he was upset he’d been ignored. Such an act rarely lasted very long.
Juch — Today at 11:34 AM
"There was a time machine that needed to be fixed," the android replied as he walked around the room, adjusting the cell phone between his shoulder and ear. The distinct sound of water flowing could be heard through the phone as he watered the plants, though not nearly as strong as the raging currents that they had fought through before, "Apparently that was the cause of this whole fiasco; ripped a massive hole through space and time, which caused so much of the distortions to happen in the first place. I'm sure you noticed them as well."
"Looking back at the logs, it also appeared that my mind wasn't there at the right place either. So if there was anything that I missed from you during that time...I'm sorry about that. Truly."
Yan — Today at 11:39 AM
“Sounds terribly boring,” Yan replied as Juch explained the time machine fiasco. He hadn’t even used it to get back so it really didn’t concern him and compared to his misadventures Juch had been stuck dealing with a mess versus making one.
He apologized though and Yan made a face Juch could probably picture even if he couldn’t see him. “Too busy saving the day for little ol’ me,” he countered, only half curious where exact Juch’s brain was.
Juch — Today at 11:59 AM
"It was, in a way," Juch chuckled as he put down the watering can, "There was at least some team work throughout the endeavor, but let me tell you, it wasn't ideal at all."
Indeed, it seemed that they managed to succeed barely by a hair, and just a little more in the wrong direction, and things would have gone terribly different. All in all, he had to count himself lucky for even surviving the trip back, given how damaged he was from taking the brunt of that missile just to protect the time machine.
Yan didn't seem satisfied by this, however; and certainly, Juch was almost certain that the distortions must had affected his own judgement and perspective of the events that transpired, but he didn't think bringing that up would be constructive--it would just sound like more excuses, "Let me make it up to you. Will you allow me that?"
Yan — Today at 12:36 PM
Yan grinned at Juch’s dismissal of who had been with him. “Who’d you get stuck with?” he asked, knowing the universe was as small as the Astral Realm and he probably knew a few others that got swept up into this mess. It was possible he wouldn’t know anyone of course. He had been gone for a year and his memory was in tatters but he had been doing his due diligence with catching up on his own personal personnel files, along with the Shadowguard ones. He had little interest in being caught unaware. As chaotic as he could let things be, he was the control to that chaos, meaning he needed to know the variables.
At Juch’s proposal he let out a loud hum for him to hear through the ear piece. “And how will you do that? It’s not every day we’re sucked back in time.”
