It did seem messy, and Barkley agreed with a nod. But messy was also interesting to Barkley. Hearing him call it so just enticed her into it more. Puar needed it anyway, she has been shaken since the time jump events. She had been locked into her room since then... Barkley would need to get her out and about somehow.
"Sounds like a lot of work to get things in order again," Anna said with a sigh. Anna did give Aria permission to do so and she hadn't forgotten that. But she would not let herself forget that she still got jealous from time to time. She pushed it away for now though. "Do you plan to try and get it in order?"
"...pft. I want to poke the Trade Master and Puar drama. I totally want to borrow papa for it. It would be fun. Kinda wanna see a lot of things with that whole story. Like, the Azara Ring shit. Sounds like a whole video game. It comes with two hot succubus/Vampire hybrids too.
"Totally better than boring work with Damaskia," Barkley said while looking over to Yan. "We could so mess around with her and her little boyfriend Mate. Cause a little mischief -- see who could get to them first –"
Though Barkley was sure if Yan got involved he'd win instantly with his charm, she could not help but bring of the challenge. She had given herself a head start on purpose before even suggesting it -- though she had yet to interact with Mate the way she wanted to yet.
Anna looked over to Barkley with her eyes lowering in annoyance at first -- at first. But then she thought, friends! Her eyes opened some. Could she try and compete too? Anna? Anna had NO charm at all. She was just...cute. Cute counted as charm right?
And Anna was pondering silently now, off to her own little daze.

Yan
"I'm not out just sleeping with everyone I've missed sleeping with for the last year," Yan said with another pout, but grinning quickly after, since that definitely was a task list he had fun getting through. But, he had to occupy his mind outside of just sex. He had exceptional stamina, but even he couldn't go non-stop as that would have been. Even if that was still a huge chunk of his time.
At Barkley's explanation, Yan gave her a look of consideration, his arms still crossed at the challenge of it.
"The Long family is very monogamous," he said stoically, "and they all hooked up with someone while I was dead. A great loss." He paused though, his gaze shifting upwards. "I wonder if I'd have a disadvantage or an advantage though..."
Yan was actually far from a home wrecker, and respected such things. He would never push where he was unwanted, or when there were mixed signals. He didn't like being a regret, so he avoided that, but Barkley had suggested more so being a third...
"I have a good repuation there, but as a hoe, which could be awkward for young Mate. I also introduced him to Juturna who has both made his life easier and ten times harder," he said weighing it in his two hands. "He did say he was glad I was alive again though. Very cutely."

"Aha, that just added to the challenge then," Barkley said to the monogamy claims. She wasn't on the level of homewrecking, and Yan was definitely right in her tone being just an addition. Just as he would back off if it would wreck things, she would too. She had gathered that Puar seemed to be the monogamy type herself. It would probably end in failure.
She pouted at the Mate story. "Well I need to talk to mate more often then! I haven't really been talking to him -- he is pretty elusive. I have been training with his uncle and Puar though!"
"Training with masters huh. I haven't trained like that in a while. There might be some things for me to learn... and being cooped up in the house is starting to takes its toll on me. I've been actually itching for more adventure lately," Anna said as she got out of her dazed thinking.
"I want to have fun again and get back out into the universe. Get involved in the randomness of it."
"Well... just do it then. No one is stopping you, mom. It would be nice to not have a boring mom for once. Pretty sure this old man here would like for you to be less boring too. As stressful as it was when you guys fought, at-least it was more entertaining than cleaning dishes."

Yan
"Jutters keeps him busy," Yan said. "I'm sure if you volunteered to help her, you'd come across him, and then she would stop pestering me~" he offered with a closed eyed grin. Of course, Yan knew this was unlikely, as Juturna was totally just finding him more things to do to keep him occupied, but monster fighting was only so much fun.
"Go play with Grey," Yan offered to Anna at her wandering words, referencing the Long master. He was an eccentric old man, and Yan liked him. "He might even try and adopt you into the Long family. Just drop some hints about your mommy and daddy issues, and you'll be welcomed into a crime ring in no time."

Anna gasped. "Oooo a crime ring? That sounds like a lot of fun! I think I will. I do need to learn a different style of fighting with how things have changed for me personality wise. It does have my power a bit out of wack too. Personality switches tend to really screw with the power outputs and stuff."
Barkley nodded to needing to bug Juturna more to get closer to Mate, and she noted it. "Sounds like a bit of fun. What are you going to do though? If mom follows up for real, then I will probably see her more, since I train with Grey as well.
"We need more fun family time. We don't really have much of that anymore. I want something all of us can get our hands on," she said with a mischevious grin. "A little behind the scenes tinkering and what not. Such a big universe -- so many things to play with."
"Well, I like the aspect of being put into a crime family. That sounds like it could bring in a lot of things to do without us having to come up with it ourselves."

Yan
“Hmmmmm,” Yan let out, thinking through his list of priorities. He had a long one. Before he died he was a bit of a deal maker and had a lot of different projects going he could easily drag the two of them into, but all this talk about the Long’s…
“Chamomile has been bugging me about some work,” he said. “She’s the bigwig in charge of Long transport, smuggling and the like, though she usually makes me do more piracy stuffs. That could be an odd family venture.”

"The Cass Pirates!?" Both Anna and Barkley yelled that at the top of their lungs with excitement. Now that was something both of them were excited about. They gave each other a look of excitement and then back to Yan with equal looks of readiness.
"Yes! Can we really be pirates!? That sounds like so much fun!"
"We get to build a crew and we can do whatever we want and the excuse? Oh -- Ha we are pirates," Anna said while closing her eyes and putting her hand against the center of her chest. "Yup, no other reason. I'm a pirate."
"Yea, that sounds so cool."

Yan
Yan lifted his hand over his mouth at their joint response, hiding a laugh that showed he was mostly back to normal. He still felt a little shaken. A part of him still wanted to jump out of the bed and go confirm everyone was okay, but that was irrational, and it kind of went against the mold in general. It wasn't actually a likeable quality to show up with no warning when someone might be sleeping.
The dream still bothered him on a few levels, really. He didn't like that he'd moved. He didn't like that he tried to act against the stranger, if only because that made him feel even farther away from himself. Before he lost his connections she'd been placed on a pedestal, an untouchable villain of his past. He didn't want to face her. He didn't want to acknowledge her, and he simply coped with the damage she created. There was acceptance. Now he felt like a little kid again lashing about.
"Ah," he let out to their excitement, and pointed to Barkley. "But you mustn't fall for Dine Larner. It's forbidden," he said with extra dramatics. "He's bad news!"
