Somehow, Ponytail died.
Well, she wasn’t dead, exactly; the sheer volume of punches that she took seemed to put her down, though; she didn’t even try to fight back, before falling to the ground, sending sand flying every which way from the force her dead weight dropped. Panic shot through the Saiyan’s sympathetic system; her body had fallen so roughly, that he wasn’t sure until after approaching her just how down she was.
He knelt on the sand next to her, ignoring the water lapping at his legs, and pressed two fingers hard against the woman’s neck. He needed to be sure that she was fine. Needed to know that he hadn’t just let his blind rage (over a t-shirt, of all things) take over so completely that this stranger would need to be buried.
Ba-bump. Ba-bump.
He breathed a sigh of relief. He wasn’t crying, exactly, but his eyes were wet enough that he rubbed them to clear his vision before placing his hands underneath the woman’s lower back and knees. One leg at a time, he got back to his feet, ignoring the fighting going on. His peripherals still let him know of the dark stranger who had arrived on the battlefield, and Uub rising to meet the challenge. The Saiyan couldn’t care less at the moment.
First, he had to ensure that no further harm would come to his combatant.
Master Roshi stood outside the house, his freewheeling, raucous self now quiet and introspective. No thoughts were spared for their previous disagreements; if there was one thing that the old Master loved more than his rowdy hypersexuality, it was martial arts. Even someone as starved for affection as him would never disrespect a fighter in her resting period, so Nappa felt no qualms in passing her limp body over to him.
The Saiyan watched in silence as the Turtle Hermit made his way back into Kame House, feeling a sense of inner peace wash over him. She had given him as much satisfaction as he could have hoped for from their skirmish, and he would ensure in kind that her body not be further damaged by this newcomer and his insistence on combat.
Nappa turned, facing the two. They were floating in the clouds, and he raised his gaze to meet them, interested to see how Uub fought against this new figure. He had turned just in time to see the younger fighter shoot through a blazing maelstrom of fire, closing in on the raven-haired alternative.
“...down there?”
It was difficult to make out what was going on from such a low height in comparison to them, so Nappa flew up as well - still keeping his distance, but wanting to hear any dialogue between them.
Had he triggered some defensive mechanism? The moment he’d gone into the sky, it seemed, the strange man, unnervingly wide smile plastered on his face as he did so, threw a couple purple balls of energy down at Nappa, so quickly that he didn’t have time to react.
They popped against his chest, pushing the Saiyan down a few feet; the fact the Ki balls moved him bothered Nappa immensely, despite the fact that he was just easier to move in midair as opposed to firmly planted on the ground. It still, in some context, implied that this new fighter was his equal.
He could see just from how Uub was doing that this stranger, desperate for competition, was not, in fact, competition for the Turtle School. He saw his friend rush closer, and a shadow of a smile crossed his lips: it seemed that the much more close-range physical fight he’d been doing had rubbed off on him, and Nappa jumped in, not wanting to miss out on this close-range assault.
He flew around, attempting to get behind the humanoid stranger; he didn’t want to get so close to Uub that he would actually become a hindrance to the young warrior’s plans, so if they were on opposite sides of this new fighter, they could both attack simultaneously without causing any trouble for each other.
It hadn’t worked on the woman in black, but he was willing to give his finger trick another try; so fast that his individual digits blurred, the Saiyan began trying to poke at various parts of the stranger’s body, hoping to turn him sluggish and weak from the effect of sending his body’s toxins all through his system at once.
“...getting a little more up close, and personal.”
“Mind if I jump in?”
A flash of ruby-red Ki encircled the Saiyan, pulsing with manic energy. Perhaps he could compete with Uub to see who could beat this new guy up the worst? He couldn't beat Uub in a fight, but maybe he could beat Uub in fighting.
Without waiting for an answer from either of them, the Saiyan closed in behind the creepy outsider, hoping that between the sheer mass of space he took up by existing - and Uub’s physical attacks (that he could hear, but not see) - they could box him into a fight of mostly martial arts skill, rather than energy spam.

"What if I don't? Will you play with me more?" Seven responded to Uub. The martial artist appeared rather dejected at Seven, which made things all the more interesting. His aura continued to ooze from his pores and shroud his body like a ghastly cloak. This power was new to him, one he had awakened in the aftermath of killing an old friend. The nature of his strength was born from the thrill of the hunt, the furnace within that ran hot when enthralled in combat. This was the result, and he wanted to test himself to his limits.
The dark skinned martial artist floated out of the salt water and continued to ascend towards the PTO patriot. His pace was even and steady, his trajectory easy to track. Even when his pace quickened, Seven's emerald gaze remained fixated on him.
"But I have to confess, I've always preferred getting a little more up close, and personal."
Uub increased his velocity, and Seven's eyes widened with shock. At the speed of a blink the martial artist was no longer visible to his naked eye. A wisp of wind blew past his cheek and his pupils darted from side to side.
He's fast!
Where was he? Was he above? To the left? Behind--?
No.
He was directly in front of him.
White hot pain seared his nervous as Seven lurched forward, his mouth hung open wordlessly as spittle flew open from it. What speed. What a guy. To move as quickly as he did...
Yes. He was a true fighter.
A savage palm strike jetted towards his throat. Upon impact it caused him to stagger backwards in the air and he momentarily dipped downward as he had to regain his bearings and generate his Ki to keep himself afloat. The hacked and coughed and choked out a gurgle of a groan. This was it. This was it. This was what he had wanted.
A vicious blow hammered into his chest, and his opponent's fist swelled with tendrils of Ki that seeped out out of his knuckle. A dark bruise marred Seven's chest as his aura spiked to life around him and he retreated backwards to avoid engaging in close quarters combat. The thought to experience the marital artist's strength enticed him to no end that much was true, however, he opted to keep himself in as advantageous of a position as possible. If Uub wanted to close the distance he'd have to work for it. That was part of the fun of it all.
“Mind if I jump in?”
The voice came from his flank, and wide emerald eyes met the burly Saiyan's abyssal pupils. He timed his assault to not only catch Seven unawares, but to also not hinder his partner's assault. Such a wonderful display of teamwork could only be born through kindship with one another - through training and companionship and common ground.
Beautiful.
Magnificent.
But in comparison to his partner the large hulking brute might as well had moved at a snail's pace.
Too slow.
Violet Ki combusted around him in an explosion of lavender energies that caused embers of purple to cascade from his aura like amethyst gems. He changed his trajectory by summoning the bulk of his Ki to the heels of his feet and he shot upward like a rocket, in his wake was a trail of power as he managed to narrowly avoid the bald warrior's strikes.
Seven's grin remained ever present on his lips as he continued to climb the skies. Oh how he loved it when he drew the card he wanted. Wasteful
For all of Seven's posturing and showing of power, the uninvited guest to Kame Island was completely overwhelmed. With Uub at his forefront, and Nappa joining the fray from behind, the stranger found himself fighting a battle he hadn't a hope of winning. Devastating blows rocked the young man's body, but he stayed afloat, caught as he was between the Turtle Hermit's students.
"You shouldn't have bothered!" Uub said, pursuing his foe as the man shot upward through the clouds. He would have preferred an enemy more capable of keeping pace with him, but all the same, he was in his element. There was still a part of him that held back - this raven-haired intruder had done nothing overt to earn his hate, he had merely interrupted a thing that was not his to interrupt. Uub himself had been guilty of it on occasion, he knew well enough, but when one willfully threw himself into a situation that did ask for or need his presence, he invited ruin upon himself.
As he rose, Uub aimed his knee toward the bottom of Seven's chin. "This isn't even decent training!" he fumed, leveling himself with the cretin and punctuating the taunt with another open-palm throat jab. On the follow-through, Uub leaned in close, grabbing for Seven's shoulders, and threw his head forward with reckless abandon. Then the martial artist pulled back in midair, took a breath, and surged ahead once more. Both fists swung forward, fingers interlaced, a trail of energy following them as they arced upward - a double uppercut aimed at Seven's gut. Where at a point, he may have had more interest in drawing the fight out and seeing what the opponent was capable of, he now sought a more swift ending, striking with an eagerness to return to his usual training regime.

Seven lost a lot of points to formatting. Change your speak color n00b.
Jokes aside, skip to the end if you ain’t in the mood for critique I got into a tangent. I give a lot of RP points to who controls the flow of the battle, as well as keeping to the flow of battle. I personally dislike when people take all the time in the world to do things when they’re in the middle of fighting, so Nappa lost a lot of points delivering Obsidian to Roshi while Seven was attacking him. It just takes so much realism out of things. You didn’t have the time for that. He’s not standing there attacking you and Uub but waiting first for your nobility.
Seven had the chance of getting control of the fight, but he fell apart dodging two grapple attempts when you can’t be grapple attempted more than once a turn and Uub edited his out but he wasn’t paying attention. So, Uub took the flow in only one post of combat.
And it was a really good post. The flowery points had a lot more purpose then Conner’s who seemed to just like describing his aura in detail for himself that added nothing to the battle.
Nappa’s second post meanwhile was a bit more forced in its anger and lacked the right oomph for black out rage. I couldn’t get invested into why he was black out angry, and there wasn’t enough monologue or thought processes to feel immersed into it. There were some points describing the anger that vibed but it needed more backing those up.
Seven had a similar issue. The jump felt forced and the first post was boring. The second post was okay, but Uub just outclassed it in his reply, and then like I said, he lost all momentum in his third post. I’m trying not to take points away from Seven’s characterization, he’s a masochist, but it reads more like he’s happy to get his ass kicked over actually fighting back which doesn’t encourage me to give him an extra stat reward. Give me more drive to WIN.
Uub’s final post does not count to the RP Award as his jump started the second round, but TLDR: I’ll still give Uub the reward this round.
DMG: Nappa: 36.95% Uub: 9.53%
Seven: 32.60%
Weakening system exists meaning more damage taken the more damaged you are and n00b system so face tanking dem DR4s isnt as advisable…

Uub moved like a wild animal, and yet still graceful; he truly was going to become a high class martial artist, and despite his disappointment at not being able to keep up, Nappa was still pleased. He didn’t need to keep up with the human, and couldn’t hope to try; his heart and excitement on the field was unmatched.
It was easy for him to notice this in the middle of the fight, because the raven-haired combatant for the two of them was mostly avoiding getting trapped in by Nappa or Uub. His maneuvering around them was a bit bothersome, but at the same time Nappa could see he had already landed several hits on the warrior he was facing, and so felt confident that he wasn’t able to keep up with the two Kame House students simultaneously.
Perhaps after this was over, though, he could show his friend what he was capable of?
The idea of fighting Uub - even in a match where he was obviously outclassed on every level - made his punches just a little bit quicker, and as his excitement turned into energy for their current fight, his fists began to turn to a blur, hitting the mystery man all over his back, shoulder blades, and lumbar.
I wonder why he showed up in the first place, Nappa wondered briefly. “Did... Master Roshi... send for you?” he panted in between jabs. “Are you... today’s... training... for us?”
Managing to talk in the middle of fighting had made his throat slightly raw from the heat of exhaustion, and he suddenly got an idea. He stopped his attack for a brief moment, glancing around the strange visitor’s body to get Uub’s attention; he didn’t want to accidentally burn his friend, so he needed to make eye contact with him.
Once he was sure the human had seen his eyes say to ‘get away!’, he felt safe with his idea. Opening his mouth, a barrage of fire-infused Ki blasted from his mouth, aiming right at the still-nameless fighter from behind. He’d been practicing his ability to produce flames from his maw, and the returns were paying off; they came out faster and stronger, and even Nappa himself had to blink back tears due to the sheer heat coming off it.

Uub pursued Seven through the clouds, his speed was incalculable, and Seven had a hard time tracking him through the naked eye alone. He burned lines through the sky, streaking through clouds as the mohawked martial artist pursued him like a bloodhound. Seven prepared himself for what was to come. He eyes scanned his foe for any and all subtleties in his movement.
A sign.
A tell.
"You shouldn't have bothered!"
His voice echoed. Seven's gaze remained fixated on his opponent's body. The last barrage taught him that his opponent preferred to attack up close. There was no ire in Uub's voice, but there was conviction - his move had already been planned, assumptions had been made.
He thought Seven would take it on the chin.
He was wrong.
A film of lavender Ki encased Seven's body in preparation for Uub's attack.
He approached Seven at mach speeds, and his knee collided with Seven's chin. However, the barrier that he had erected protected him from the damage. However, a crack formed, a white slit that began at his chin and ended at his feet.
He felt firsthand how devastating Uub's strikes could be, and thus this was the counter.
The palm strike rammed into his throat, and his aura managed to block the brunt of the attack, however, the slit grew wider and the concussive force of the blow caused Seven to sail backwards across the skies. The martial artist followed through and rammed his head into Seven's. The blow caused the aura to dissipated entirely, and that left him open for a double uppercut that caused him to lurch forward in pain. The energy that surged with his knuckles sent Seven reeling, and he floated away to gather distance. However, his senses remained on high alert. His eyes wandered. Something was missing.
No.
Someone.
"Come on out."
The burly Saiyan's body broke though the clouds to Seven's flank. He attempted to pounce on Seven with a vicious assault, his fists quick as lightning without compromising its stopping power. Very good. Sensational even. But he was prepared.
Once more a film of Ki encased him, blocking hulking brute's assaults for as long as his shield could hold out. At first it blocked the blows completely, but eventually it wore down and cracked like a mirror, leaving Seven open to be harmed by the concussive force until his aura finally shattered like glass.
"I'm here for some fun. That's all."
That was the truth of the matter.
While Seven once more retreated backwards, the big brute managed to spew forth flames from his mouth. It superheated the air and the torrent came directly for him. His eyes widened as he braced himself, screeching to a halt when his body eclipsed the sun.
The flame licked at him and nipped at his body, but Seven managed to swipe his hand and clear the fire from him, dissipating it into embers.
Next he had placed his hands directly in front of his face with his palms facing himself, acting as a visor. There were no clouds to block their sun's brilliant rays - his gambit had paid off.
This was why he lead them here.
"Solar Flare!"
A blinding white light encased the landscape, blinking and flickering. The affect may not reach the burly Saiyan, but Seven was more so concerned about Uub, thus, the sun's divine radiance would be a blight upon his eyesight.
Not wanting to waste the moment he had been given, began to fire off several bolts of Ki towards the Kame House students. Seven's armed continued to pump more and more until there had been ten in total. Five careened towards Uub while the other five careened towards the burling fighter.
Seven's aura crackled with electricity as an emerald green sphere generated from his palm doubled in size - it opened up and fired off several smaller bolts of green energy that locked onto Uub specifically. Wherever he would go, the blasts would follow.

Energy Waves, Ocean Waves, and... Blutz Waves?
As Uub heard his opponent's shouts, he realized that he'd been led into a trap. Using a technique the boy had thought was created by the Turtle Hermit himself, Seven redirected the sunlight that had been exposed with their passage into the skies into Uub's eyes. The lens on his goggles darkened in reaction to the concentrated light, and after a moment cleared.
That was a close one...
Seven enacted an all-too-familiar set of motions, throwing a barrage of ki spheres towards the Kame School students. Uub pumped his arms, firing a set of his own that intercepted the enemy's. Explosions buffeted him from all around, but the satisfaction of success was short lived - a blast that he'd missed hammered his chest, shoving him through the air and driving the air from his lungs.
Not good enough... Did Nappa get hit?
Before Uub could worry at length for his friend, he felt an even greater source of energy gathered near Seven. The boy gulped, and steeled himself for what came next. To his surprise, it was another barrage of smaller orbs that split from a single point, these moving directly towards him. He moved and weaved his body around in the smallest, tightest movements he could. A few clipped him, and the final one hit his shoulder square, spinning him through the air.
Even as he arrested the spin, Uub opened his eyes and found that he could see, though hot tears clouded his sight. Still, he found Seven hanging in the air in the same spot he'd last been in, and couldn't help but to grin. "That was pretty smart, but you got caught in your own snare!" he called out, hands moving to his forehead. "Solar Flare!" Uub has practiced the technique countless times, honing it until it surpassed even the version Master Roshi had painstakingly taught him. As the light of the sun redirected like a lens flare, a kaleidoscope blast of colors traveled with it, a rainbow tunnel that encased the beam of light.
That'll teach him not to use the Master's moves against the old man's own students. Now, to prevent that from happening again...
An idea had already begun to form, and it was one he'd been tossing around for awhile. He'd been looking for a way to help his village survive the harsh desert summers.
Can I block out the sun?
Uub brought his hands together and gathered energy there, forming a pale orb. He reared back, carrying the orb with one hand, and with a mighty heave he launched it towards the sun. It disappeared against the bright backdrop for a few seconds, then made a dramatic reappearance as it flattened and expanded. As the new circle grew, a shadow fell over the aerial battlefield. Uub clenched his fist and grinned.
Success.

Fun? What did that mean... the fight?
Nappa hoped so. But even as the raven-haired stranger spoke, his tone had given off an utterly eerie, bone-chilling tone; he’d made the simple joy of being in a fight appear perverse and unseemly to the Saiyan, to the point that he wasn’t even able to properly enjoy himself in the moment.
The stranger used some interesting techniques to avoid the brunt of damage he and Uub were dishing out, encasing himself in what basically amounted to some kind of Ki-based bubble that was softening their blows. It didn’t frustrate Nappa, but rather intrigued him. He’d long held that even as a Saiyan, the greatest way to become the best warrior he could be would be to study the ways of all cultures and peoples, and while he didn’t recognize what world (or worlds) had perfected the art of defense to such a degree, he would travel the cosmos until he found them, and mastered their ways.
“Solar Flare!”
What the...
There was no mistaking what the greasy stranger had said, however; even from where Nappa floated - behind the newcomer - his eyes began to sting from the growing intensity of Sol’s rays. Its radiance kept growing until it was nearly impossible to ignore, reminding him yet again that no matter how many times he looked up at Sol and was convinced the star was orange, yellow, or red, it in fact was a burning white that could not be mistaken for anything else.
As the light faded, Nappa wasn’t sure what he was going to see of his friend, Uub: it looked like he’d taken Master Roshi’s technique full on, with no way to block it. He hesitated in the fight, fists raised to his chest; normally, pausing like that would have been dangerous, but it seemed even the black-haired fighter was curious to see how Uub had fared with the light of the sun bearing down upon him.
Suddenly, the man turned so that both he and Nappa were in front of him, and began throwing energy balls with wild abandon, a freedom in his eyes that only those with some issues in their mental abilities would have. He started to throw up his arms to block the energy balls to see that Uub not only had recovered beautifully from the attack, but was already back into the fray, destroying every energy ball that he could spot.
That was one particular talent that Nappa just could not get down the way Uub seemed to naturally; he was able to throw regular Ki attacks with perfect aim at inanimate objects or people, but he still wasn’t good at getting the target when he was canceling blasts in midair; thus, he generally avoided the practice.
“Thanks!” Nappa shouted over the explosions, hoping his friend with the mohawk had heard him. “That wa-- ow!”
One of the blasts had made it through, and smacked him in the chest. Ah well, he should have been focused.
As the dust cleared, and Nappa could once again make out his friend, he could hear the young prodigy shout a sentence that made him immediately jump into action: “...caught in your own snare!” He’d heard something similar from Uub only a few days prior while they’d been training: he had hit Uub with a headbutt, and the human had laughed it off, before responding in kind, hitting the Saiyan with a bump to the gut that had left him on the toilet for nearly twenty minutes afterwards.
He barely had enough time to spin and face the other way - eyes clamped shut - before he heard the words, and waited out the luminous, blinding attack. A few seconds later, he experimentally opened his eyes to see that his vision was clear, and the sky was once again clear blue.
Hopefully, nobody else would attempt to blind Nappa, because twice was two times too many. He began to feel the weariness bearing down on him, but he knew he couldn’t tap out of the fight yet. Despite how vaguely sickened he still felt from the stranger’s earlier words, despite his confidence in Uub’s ability to win on his own, and despite his worry about the unconscious woman down in Kame House, he still couldn’t help but feel that he hadn’t yet shown his growth in a way that made him confident Uub would be proud of him.
The crimson aura pulsing around his body began swirling, and the bald Saiyan began channeling all of his dormant Ki, hoping to bring his true power to the surface - even transformed, he hadn’t really unlocked access to his full powers - and hadn’t felt like he needed to - but if nothing else, the fresh flow of energy through his body would give him a new lease on the fight, and he started grinning openly, adrenaline pumping, heart beating.
Sky...darkening.
The Saiyan spun around, looking into the sky, and found a positively massive ball of energy far above their heads, sliding right into the part of the sky where Sol had been moments before. It moved with the speed of a solar eclipse, and briefly Nappa wondered which of the two fighters had generated such a massive amount of energy in such a short time.
His chest... Nappa clutched at his ruined shirt, nervous; why did he feel so... heavy? He felt like he was going to break out of his body, hatch from the egg that was Nappa and become something new. The feeling was so alien - and yet, so familiar. His heartbeat noticeably slowed. And that was when it clicked for him, because that ball of Ki in the sky was no ordinary combat technique: it was a simulation of the Moon.
Someone had created a Moonshine Blast right here over Kame House... why?
Why?
Whhhhhhhhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Its gaze was the same height as the two flies buzzing around it, but its feet were firmly planted in the Earth. A few toes were poking out from the beginnings of the ocean, but it mattered not. What mattered was its eternal call to feast on the weak and prove itself to anyone watching that no other being could have such a dominant effect on the world around it.
It lifted its hands into two great fists and screeched, beating its chest. The eyes glowed a vicious, unyielding red. It stared at the two gnats for a moment, before deciding, a cruel smile crossing its face. Its white teeth glinted against the dim glow of the Moonshine Blast above as it approached one of the two insects: It had chosen its next victim, and this pygmy would be a delicious start to its day. His lightshow had been reflected back at him - countered by an even more powerful concentration of sunlight. Iridescent and luminescent light assaulted eyes, and his emerald pupils dilated. Searing pain caused his eye ducts to well shut. Tears cascaded down the length of his cheeks and dripped from his chin. He grimaced and groaned and uttered a curse beneath his breath.
Uub was delightfully strong, but frighteningly adaptable. Still, Seven wanted even more, and he wasn't going to roll over - even with an impaired vision.
He still had his wits about him as well as his other senses - the keys being smell and sound. His mind was also a weapon, and as he continued to rub the tears that welled he used his mind's eye to recreate the battle field and approximate his opponent's positions. Seven had been intentional on keeping both of his opponents to either side of him instead of his flank. So if he could recall correctly then....
Uub was to one side.
His partner was on the opposite end.
As far as he knew he hadn't heard the faint whisper of the wind from a deft approach, nor the crash of a sonic boom from supersonic movement. This gave him time to gather himself and summon the bulk of his Ki energy to push himself to his maximum capacity. His aura flared around him, the violet flame swayed to and fro around his figure like a metronome as he floated backwards to further distance himself from his foes. He had to buy himself some time. Once his eyesight was restored he'd --
.... Whhhhhhhhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Seven grimaced at the sound. It was a horrific, bloodcurdling cry that wasn't at all human nor mortal in nature. It sounded like a feral beast had been unleashed onto the battlefield.
Where?
Who?
What?
He focused on his breathing to calm his nerves. Panic would do him no good. He had to concentrate. He referred to his last visual approximation of his opponent's locations. Uub was in front of him on one side, and on the other side was his partner. Seven keyed in on the sound of an animal bellowing to the heavens, its titanic fists beat against its chest akin to a war drum, and the sound echoed across the skies. Wait. The sound, the beating of the chest...that was a monkey. An ape. A large ape. No....
A great ape.
One of them was a Saiyan?
Seven's lips curled into a smile.
Magnificent!
The ape vastly approached his position, he could hear its large footsteps as it stomped against the ocean floor. The beast was brutish, bullish, he could hear it's feral snarl escape its nostrils. It was close, and it was approaching. Seven's aura spiked and he ascended higher into the sky, burning holes through the clouds as he tried his hardest to get out of dodge. The last thing he could do was to allow the ape's paws to reach him. As long as he could hear his approach, he would do everything in his power to keep the ape at bay.
He had to keep them at a distance.
That was the best he could do for now.
Seven went to wipe his eyes but grimaced when he did so. It still burned, and his eyes as well as eyelids were still sensitive.
Not yet. His vision had still been hazy.
But his counterattack would come soon.

King Kong Aint Got Nothin
Uub looked away from the solar eclipse he had manufactured, smiling with pride, pride that when he traveled back to his village, he'd bring with him a way to provide relief from the harshness of the desert sun. He saw that Seven was reeling from his blinding technique. His focus shifted from his opponent to his ally, who floated opposite him from Seven's perspective.
"Nappa?" he called. The Saiyan stared up at the false celestial body that had appeared in the sky. He seemed as if in a trance, his body rigid. "Are you-"
Whhhhhhhhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
A breath caught in Uub's throat. The hairs on his arms stood up. His eyebrows rose halfway up his forehead. Before his very eyes, Nappa's body grew many times in size, his skin sprouting heavy fur across every inch. Where his friend and training companion had once floated, an eyeball bigger than the man himself remained, its sclera a mesmerizing pool of crimson with no visible pupil or iris.
For a moment, Uub allowed fear to well up within his chest. For a moment, he let that fear freeze him. Never had he encountered a monster like this. What could he do against that? What could anyone do?
Breath...
Uub closed his eyes and pulled his arms in, pressing his palms flat near his chest. Pose 1. That monster wasn't a monster, it was Nappa. Regardless of the change that had come over the Saiyan, it was his friend. He'd figure out a way to get him back to normal - if he couldn't, Master Roshi would help him.
The tension in Uub's body evaporated as he opened his eyes. "Don't worry buddy, we'll figure this out," he said, more to himself than to the giant ape parading in front of him. For now, Nappa's frantic attention seemed focused on Seven. "I just got to take care of this guy first. Can't have him hurting you, and he's gonna want to do that."
Uub maintained awareness of Nappa's inflated presence on the battlefield while shifting his focus back toward Seven. Once a wide open plane, ripe for rangy movement and creative flourish, had surrounded them. Now their field of combat had been reduced, impeded upon by an angry kaiju to one side.
Time to finish this...
A pebble from a slingshot, Uub skipped across the sky. He threw his left arm out wide, allowing room for an extended encasement of energy to coat his fist. Ozone burned the edges of his nostrils and a hiss filled his ears as the blade moved through a cloud of moisture. A myraid of colors leapt from the blade, dazzling in the dark of the artificial moon. "Let's see your shield block this!" he said, and with his right, he jabbed two fingers into the soft spot under Seven's shoulder. Master Roshi taught him that, if done correctly, a tiny energy pulse could disrupt the heart's rhythm, putting excess strain on it when an opponent tried to call on his inner Ki.
Uub delivered the impairment pulse and threw himself into a spin, using the momentum to stab the short energy blade toward Seven's gut. Wrenching the arm back, he led with his elbow and slashed down across the man's chest, then followed through by following the same line with a reverse slash.

The Great Ape could feel the salt on its tongue from the winds blowing incessant waves of ocean water at It. The taste reminded It of the sweat of battle, and - unbidden - another roar rent the skies and shook the island beneath. That unseemly irritant had avoided Its clutches, buzzing around aimlessly. Clearly, the mongrel thought better of himself, to not allow himself to be swatted down by the mighty Oozaru. No matter. There was no escaping fate, and this bug was destined for devastation.
Its chin rose, sparing a quick glance at the irradiant ball in the sky. This was not the star that It was used to, the one that the Ape knew as the Mother of the universe. This ball also wasn’t Luna... though It could sense her somewhere nearby. The hum made Its blood pump harder, hotter, faster, and the bloodthirst rose.
Splash.
It paused for a moment, feeling its foot completely coated in water. Clearly, It did not have the room to maneuver freely on this land. What a useless settlement. Land that barely stretched for a single pace. The Ape contemplated destroying the whole world for this injustice. None on this planet could be worthy, if such a folly could have occurred without correction.
Something flew past the Oozaru, catching Its attention. Another of the mites around It, though not the one targeted for death. This second one - a speedy gnat - was a wonderful maroon dot soaring across the sky. Something was attached to his arm, flashing different shades of crimson, scarlet, and ruby. Something in the Ape felt a kinship. Perhaps that they both wanted the other to fall... perhaps not. Regardless, the Oozaru refocused Its efforts. Its irritant may have only been a trifle to beat back, but resisting the call to die was a crime that would not go unpunished. The quicker one flew off, and the Ape stomped a single monstrous step forward, the movement causing sand, water, and various debris to fly about.
The Oozaru raised Its hands, and opened Its maw to reveal dozens of crooked, jagged pincer teeth. A ball of sickly green energy formed in Its mouth, charging rapidly before flying through the air. The air rippled with the force of the energy blast sent through the air.
Not enough.
Before the first ball had even exploded, another was in the Ape’s mouth. The Oozaru’s jaw was opened so wide that the appearance was of a pig holding a green apple in Its mouth, ready to be cut up and eaten. However, It was not the prey, but the hunter, and It would have Its prize. The second ball shot through the air, mighty enough to slow time around it. Surely, this would satisfy the Mother, but in case this was in fact not enough, the Ape approached where the blasts had aimed. It was careful to move around the faster spot in Its vision, for he had won Its approval. This other should be lucky to not be a smear on the ground, but if he were not, that would soon change.
Perhaps - very soon - there would be peace.

Uub burned through the sky like a fighter jet. He waved his hand and summoned a burning plasma of Ki that superheated the ozone, causing a wave of heat to emanate from his arm. The backdrop of the moon shrouded his opponent's figure, making him appear like a wraith in the night. Instinct guided Seven's next move, and he coated himself in a film of violet energy. It wrapped and coiled around him in a protective shield, and the first strike that aimed true nearly shattered his shield in one blow. The force took Seven aback, and he reeled back in the air. Flesh burned and seared when the plasma sword cauterized his arm. Seven hissed at the pain as Uub continued his onslaught. Again and again Uub's flourish wreaked havoc on his shield, and it caused his shield to shatter like glass, exposing his pale flesh. The final blow seared into his abdomen. Flesh burned and blood oozed from the wound. Seven coughed and held his hands over his stomach, guarding the wound.
His fierce Ki that had shrouded his body dispersed into embers that fell like lilac petals.
Through it all however, Seven smiled.
Thank you, for letting me have some fun with you."
The last vestiges of his energy left him as he suddenly descended head first into the water. There was a splash. And then there was nothing.
