Last time I asked a question like this, it got a pretty good response! So, I'm back, almost six months later, to ask another few questions!~ What's your favorite movie, movie series, genre of movie, or TV show? Personally, I like a lot of different ones. Have to say that I can rewatch the Harry Potter movies anytime of the day, and recently (in honor of Ncuti Gatwa's new doctor coming this spring) I've been watching Doctor Who (David Tennant FTW). I'm also watching the Percy Jackson new series now, which is making me so happy!~ I really enjoy thrillers - but not slashers. I like supernatural ones, like ones involving apparitions/ghost stories - mysteries that need to be solved, like um... Gone Girl. Romance, obviously is a good pick. I love a good rom-com - P.S. I Love You is one of my favorites. So, let me know! What's your favorite anime, movie series, or what you just like to watch in your spare time! If anyone says DBZ I'm fighting you ofc we like dbz we're on a DBZ SITE

I have yet to watch past the 2nd HP movie. Waiting for HP and snuggles during halloween damnit.
once upon a time is good but over. Horror and suspense legit make me scream so I stay away lol. I love stupid comedy, mysteries, scifi, romance, deep plots, and long walks on the beach.

When it comes to TV, I'm much more likely to watch something with a comedic element to it, or in general just quite light-hearted and easy to watch.
Favourite TV show is probably a toss up between My Hero Academia and Ted Lasso. Both fantastic in their own rights. Agreed that the Percy Jackson series is good, although I've fallen a little behind on it. Special mention to Parks and Rec as well, which I tend to watch once a year, or every other year for pure comfort.
Movies are a bit more difficult to pin down. Lord of the Ring trilogy has to be up there for me. Also really enjoyed Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse. Great art style, brilliant soundtrack. Haven't seen the second one yet, but looking forward it.

The second one is just as good - had me in tears by the end of it just from how much emotion was put into it. I think it's on Netflix now!

I didn't read all the posts here but I saw Percy Jackson and Into the Spiderverse mentions. I haven't watched the new PJ but I heard atrocious things from my friends about it. As for the latter, Into the Spiderverse felt like a peak art form. Absolutely phenomenal shit.
I'm currently listening to the Murtagh audiobook (newest spin off of the Inheritance Cycle) and watching Parks and Rec for the first time. Fantastic show. Fills the void that Eastbound and Down left when I finished it.

My favorite video game would have to be Dishonored. My favorite TV show... Hmmm, I'm quite torn because of Channel 4 back in the day. Had Nash Bridges/Walker Texas Ranger double hour

The terminator duo of films a fairly obvious pick tho it has painted a large synth being the sci fi equivalent of the undead being the default evil faction, the Sarah Connor chronicles has a bit of nostalgia for me.
Scrubs was an entertaining cast of characters and antics, Dr cox best asshole doctor with a secret good caring heart, and the janitor one not to mess with as grudges last.
The outer limits and the twilight zone I have enjoyed worlds constructed to tell a tale of what if and wounder, spinning sci-fi staples in intriguing directions often of all matter of explorations of humanity and how it would face a twist, a sentient robot on trial for murder, a man trapped on a planet with a synthetic companion and refusing to leave without them growing so close.godly powers given to a kid and having to babysit said kid with universe bending powers, many episodes that have been parodied and referenced.
Star Trek because optimism in the future is sorely needed these days, a universe that bounces back even at its lowest hours where history repeats its grand mistakes and people fall to their weakest most self-interested drives but come back better. Never a perfect civilization but one that at least the fight ain't over till the last punch is thrown, unlike many futures where the fight is over, and it's just circling the drain time till the biosphere is utterly unsalvageable.
Star wars original and their legends timeline so many great tales and characters, a good multi culture inspired as well as pulp inspired universe plenty philosophical and fantasy tropes as well as its own spin on plenty sci fi concepts, as well as the odd adventurous tale like the death trouper zombie plague in space!
Batman & superman the animated series batman beyond, and the tragically short-lived and mostly forgotten project Zeta. Iconic rebirths, neat passing of the torch & an entity trying to forge their own identity away from what they were made to be, all for me timeless

Scrubs is GOATED Everything Everywhere All At Once is an incredible movie. I need to find new anime to watch.
TV/movies aren't what they used to be, so I tend to stick with older stuff, aside from what's streaming.

All of the Spiderman movies, along with the Spiderverse are a must-watch. (Also audio-books are fire?)

Loving everything that came after Tobey does not mean I love Tobey any less. Also audiobooks are the shit. I've come across a few "audio dramas" which are also fucking AWESOME. They'll usually have full voice casts and special effects. Pretty dope stuff.
