Bulma vs Azazel
She was a fan of cafes. After the war, when Bulma could bear to be outside again, she would sit under the cover of the roof or large umbrella and watch the people go by. She could see life going on even after everything that happened, see people finding their own paths again. Sometimes it made her feel lost, empty, but always relieved.
Perhaps that’s why the astral realm made one now. It was on Earth again, where her thoughts were lingering for different reasons now. Or were they the same? It was hard to tell.

It was almost normal for the prince to open his eyes and be in some construct in the astral realm, it normally only included a few people and this time proved no different than the last dozen or so dips into the in between realm. The primordial could feel her, her essence, the link between the chaos seeds they had almost hummed as he finished materializing. It had been awhile since they had spoken... or for that matter seen each other, but time made little difference to the immortal... it was only a drop in the bucket. The human female seemed pre occupied, perhaps lost in thought as he took a step forward, his hands in his pockets as he stood behind her and looked down.(edited)

“Feels real doesn’t it?” Bulma asked after a moment, curious how long he might stand behind her.
The sentiment wasn’t lost however. The world she created was intensely detailed. Each passerby had a face and different clothes. Each shop had a detailed sign and you could see in the windows where the normally the astral realm was become fuzzy. You could even smell both the cafe’s bakery as well as the less noticeable smells of the city. The clouds moved in distinct patterns. As people walked by, you could make out tidbits of their conversation, stories completely irreverent to them both. It was more complex than the average realm, pulled from different pieces of her semi-perfect memory to make something that did not feel at all like a dream. It was as if they really were on Earth, outside a little cafe, watching the city pass them by.

"Real? Yes... I must admit, you've done a fine job crafting this elaborate structure...I'm not surprised though, you normally out do yourself." The prince chuckled as he took his hands out of his pockets and moved beside her, the reality that had been crafted was almost indistinguishable from the main reality in which they resided.... separated the vast distance of space and time. Chuckling a bit to himself Azazel moved closer towards the cafe, a table and chairs sitting outside the establishment offered a nice chance to sit and watch the unfolding events around them. Pulling a chair out he removed his coat and draped it over the back, his suit of battle armor and shoulder holsters making him look very much out of place in the serenity of the moment. He sat, his attention completely focused on the woman still standing, fascinating little creature.

Bulma’s gaze stayed fixed on her surroundings for a moment longer, as if trying to find something out of place. There should be some jarring detail, but there wasn’t. Her mind was like an advanced computer system, filling in data based on other data to create a more complete picture. None of it was real, and yet it very easily could be.
“Tricky,” she hummed, before looking back to Azazel her daze gone for a happy smile. “You know, I once created a device to stabilize and lock the current reality in one section of space in case someone made a wish that altered it entirely,” she explained, moving to sit as well. “Outside of that space, no one would remember their previous existence. They’d be changed, and not even know it.“

Azazel grunted in approval, that was quite a feat, and yet he was not surprised someone like her could pull it off. It appeared not all mortals were complete fools, his time with her thus far has proved she was probably in the upper echelon of those who were worthy... and she had even been touched by his brother, given a gift if that's what you could call it. It seemed even Lucifer was capable of change... though he always had a game within a game.
"Somehow you never cease to amaze me..." The primordial just chuckled as he stared her down. "Imagine my surprise finally seeing you again... I thought our paths separated for good for awhile there."

Bulma smiled wider at the compliment, though once more her gaze moved on back to the astral realm. She lingered there for jut another short moment before looking back to him with a title of her head and a look of confusion.
“Oh my, did you almost cease to exist?” she asked in a mixture of tease and curiosity. Nothing so exciting had happened to her in recent days, though it was possible she might have vanished completely while on Grace. The sentient planet apparently had that kind of ability, though her studies only got her so far in such a short time. The Lost technology was expectedly advanced after all. On his side, he had said he could not die, not really, so the sentiment was otherwise quite curious.
“Or did you stray that far off course?”

A grin played across the primordials face as Bulma spoke, had he almost ceased to exist? That was laughable...but there was slight jest in her voice... he had however permanently extinguished the lives of one of his brothers. He was many things, he had done many unspeakable things...but the death of one of his true brothers was not something that pleased him...the grace of the fallen archangel resided in his body, a resource he would later use for his own goals.
“You could say... the course no longer exists Bulma.”
A tiredness exuded in his voice, a sort of pain. His eyes looked off into the passing crowd as his mind wandered toward the flashing scenes of battle he had with his archangel brother.
“But some of what I’ve lost has returned to me at least.”
The full power of his transformations had returned, but he was still far from his old power level.
