"Well you're clearly here for a reason. Or you're avoiding your responsibilities. Whatever the case, you're here now. Perhaps we can make this meeting worth both of our time."
At the last word he released the restraints that held his power-level to undetectable levels. He let out a relieved sigh, his power at a similar level to Broly's the last time they fought.
"Show me if you've progressed at all. Or, I can do you a favor and put you out of your haunted misery."
He dashed, closed the minuscule distance between them in a heartbeat, and attempted to slam a palm strike through the saiyan's thick chest.

Broly could feel the emperor well before he noticed a visual difference, with the mammoth energy lunging forward in a blur. He moved on instinct, wrist snapping to his waist while unsheathing his newest blade. The wide dark steel of his axe intercepted the would be gut blow with little time to spare, Broly’s gasping surprise turning into a low chuckle.
“as unpredictable as ever,” he replied before cocking his hands forward and sending a widening wave of ki back at the man, aiming to swallow him whole.

Chaos' sick grin disappeared behind the furious Ki wave. He ignored the searing pain of his exposed skin flaking away, swung his hand as if he were swatting a fly, extinguishing the attack.
He was exposed, skin smoking, still smiling. With a simple mental flex he blew apart the mirrored ground, commanding the shards to surround Broly.
The semi-spherical trap shimmered around the saiyan like a brilliant disco ball for a moment. He snapped his fingers and it collapsed, innumerable whistling shards coming at Broly from every direction.(edited)

The saiyan felt the pavement beneath him crumble before watching hundreds of crystal daggers collapse on him. Sharp slashes tore at his body, forcing limbs to throb in pain.
Broly’s ki flared in anger as a stream of blood trickled down his arm. Now it was the brutes turn to go on the offensive, charging forward with a leading left hook.

Surprise flashed across the Emperor's visage, Broly's fist reflected in his shock widened eyes as it sailed into his jaw and took him off his feet.
He twisted and caught himself mid-flight, sprining across the crystalline ground. A glowing ball of Ki had already been gathered in his right hand and he unleashed it in a wide cone at his opponent.

The rebound was somewhat majestic as the celestial twirling back onto his feet. Broly watched the graceful maneuver until an illuminating light caught his eyes, but not before it was too late.
The corralled energy was pitched like a fastball, punishing Broly’s core with an intense burning sensation. The saiyan grinded his teeth in pain and responded by pushing forward, coming down with two curled fists.

Chaos narrowly weaved around the blows and felt the woosh of their nearness, forced to duck beneath the last. He was inside Broly's reach now, yet he smiled wider than before.
"Got ya," he said solemnly. A crimson ripple extending from his hand took form and became solid. The legendary blade was manifest and thrust at the brute's exposed abdomen with frightening speed and precision.

It took less finesse to get in his danger zone than Broly would like to admit, as chaos’ erect blade tried to turn him into a kabob from close distance. Lacking the quickness to avoid the blow, the saiyan sharpened his focus and took control of the realm he occupied by manifesting a hardened protective coat that fit over and shielded his core from the oncoming pierce.
He took a deep sigh as the blade clashed against the mysterious substance he commanded to life. Broly took the moment to dash backwards, creating a steady amount of distance between them, with a hand on his stomach. A grin crept on his face.
