Gotta Squish That Bug It wasn't until he'd completed his opening assault that Burter realized his new opponent had moved in front of the girl. His initial reaction was to spring again to the woman's aid but there was just enough hesitation for the soldier to see what had really been going on. Or, at least, what the battle he'd happened upon had turned into. After being offered - and accepting - one of the small green healing beans that Earth was so famed for, the girl gave a quick word of support to her opponent.
She ain't just call me a freak, did she? Man, these hoes aint loyal.
Bewildered, Burter watched the girl take off through the air with a sour face. Finally he sighed and looked back towards the strange creature that he'd mistaken for her enemy. "My bad homie, I saw her arm missin and shit and figured you were over here trying to kill her," he said with a shrug. "I guess every damsel with a fuckin stump aint gotta be in distress. That's on me, yo."
Falling quiet for a few seconds after his sincere apology, the Na'Vadian thought about what he should do next. Jeice was waiting on him and he probably should hurry back to the Zoteran's ship. Then again, the prospect for an exciting battle was more than enough for him to keep Lord Frost himself waiting. "I kinda already got started so uh... hope you understand," he continued, shrugging again. "The name's Burter, by the way. They call me the Blue Hurricane!" Regardless of his original misunderstanding of the weird situation or whether the creature wanted to fight or not, his blood was boiling and his excitement could only be contained by the distracting heat of battle. Energy gathered in his right hand until another disc had appeared there.
"Ready or not, bug man, Burter's comin and he's servin pain on a platter!" he yelled, punctuating the last word by flinging the energy frisbee towards his foe. True to his name, he was close behind the disc with his spear in hand. The obsidian tip sliced through the air twice, aimed in two diagonal slashes across the creature's chest. He reared his head back twice, each time trying to smash his forehead against the green skinned thing's face because after all, Jeice was always reminding him that he was hard-headed.

Juturna was all for the happy ending, and it seemed Kale was not on Cell's dinner plate tonight. If he could just survive these final beams...But then new contender jumped into the fight, and the mechanical spider scurried for better cover after reading the higher power level. She still watched as the Creature took damage he might have otherwise avoided if he did not have it in his mind he needed to protect his new friend. He was very protective of his friends, even when they weren’t in real danger. The disk ripped apart more skin then Cell seemed to at first notice, and would surely be a wound he would have to protect going forward.
Fun fight guys! ...Oh, wait, we’re still fighting.
Kale’s defenses were her downfall, but the writing behind them was pretty neat. Using Ouzaru as shield and stuff. I got down with the finishers but had to like double check to find the Big Tree Cannon and almost gave Cell no damage for it, but it was there with a microscope. Flee posts are always underwhelming. Thought the overall flow was a lot better this time around. Good job!
Cell’s freak out was really entertaining to read, while also strangely touching. Added a lot more energy to counter Ouzaru energy. Second post was captivating as things calmed, and that was a beautifully successful improved regeneration, cause I would have fucked your ass up otherwise. I love pain writing and the actual regeneration was fun along with the emotional response to it. I really liked Cell’s response to Burter, though it probably should have had more OUCHIES to it.
Who the hell is this wannabe space gangster? I feel like Jeice is referenced in all your RPs but always so briefly that I’m like WHO IS JEICE THO??? I liked the trans and your attacks were neatly written but the timing in your RP was a little wonky. Second post too was really smooth and it was enjoyable. If you had a third post, you’d likely have won it just because you’d have had more action going on while the other two were really winding down, but they got the advantage with more words.
RP Award goes to Cell this time around. Regrow more limbs plz. But don’t because you will probably KO yourself.

Hemimetabolism
Once the Kale had left the area, Cell relaxed considerably, seeing that it seemed the battle had finished. Especially, seeing the Blue Turtlebug acquiesce to the situation was a relief. The Cell was more injured than it wished to admit, and another round of constant attacks would have been extremely discomposing to say the least. “ We understand the misconception. Looking at the battlefield with no knowledge of the situation, one might assume…” It nodded in agreement and let the apology slide. However, the Turtlebug’s next statement surprised the Creature and put it on edge again in the blink of an eye. Its eyes flickered reddish again, its body — though built for destruction and consumption — seemed confused at the on again off again coursing adrenaline. “ Oh. Still wants to play. Well we just did the main course but if we’re gonna have Butter Hurricane for dessert… Hit us pretty hard just now. Just give us a moment to refresh and—“ Without being allowed to finish the sentence, another buzzing disc of energy flew towards the Creature. Its eyes widened, “ Wait—“ It said, the ki splashing against its fiery aura before being consumed by the souls that held it together. They acted on some lifesaving instinct rather than command, causing the green flame that surrounded it to burst to life again. “ We said—“ It adjusted its stance just enough that the two slices didn’t hit any vital organs, although giving off its own personal conflagration would make it much more difficult for the Turtlebug to get in close without taking damage. The weapon attacks ceased and the Cell held its hands out as if to halt, “ If you would just—“ Except of course, he didn’t. Cell ducked down and shot its tail forward to meet Butter Hurricane’s headbutt, overflowing with energy as it smashed forward. When the Blue Meanie decided to try for a second verse, Cell rushed forward to take advantage of the opportunity. “ We said,“ Using its position underneath its adversary, it ducked under the attempted blow and smashed Butter’s body into the sky, fists moving in unison like a pair of overcharged pistons. “ Give us” Even as it did, it pressed hard into the ground, rocketing upwards with the same momentum that it used to send the alien to meet the midnight sky. Just enough control of its own personal energy, it surged ahead of its foe, flipping in a full 360 and bringing combined fists down on his back. “ A minute!” Cell raced back down to Earth, landing hard on terra that had been softened by the previous bout. As it was falling its tail popped out another bag of cocooned beans. They landed in the hands of the Creature as it hit the ground. It chomped down hard on one and met eyes with the blue alien. The Creature’s wounds began to close up as its aura flared anew, howling souls trapped in an ever-dancing shroud of green energy that expanded significantly then controlled themselves back close to the Cell’s body. “ The Butter Hurricane wants round two. We’re gonna give it round two.” The red in its eyes that had previously flickered with curiosity lit like two haunted will o’ wisps on an empty road. “ Ding. Ding.” 1. Real Ass Nigga Give A Fuck Bouta Bitch Just before the first swing of his spear, Burter noticed that flames of an emerald hue had sprung to life over his opponent's body. As he neared though it was as if the blaze were more attracted to his demonic pull than to the bug creature's energy. They siphoned away from it, coating his body and his sword and turning black like the hellfire at his feet. Such was the speed of the two fighters that the next couple of exchanges passed like a blur before his eyes, only his instinct saving him from the creature's counter attack.
Standing up and wiping his shoulders off after being forced to dive indignantly to safety, Burter turned to face the odd critter again. "Since we're fightin' on friendly terms now, I'd 'preciate knowin' your name," he said with a friendly smile. While he listened for the thing's response he pulled his hands out to his sides and began to reach inward, breaking down the barrier that helped him to conserve energy outside of battle. It would not be needed for the remainder of the battle - his opponent was too strong to hold back.
"Cell, huh? That's a dope ass name, my man. It's a pleasure meet you'n shit," the Na'Vadian replied genuinely. "Now... back to the fun shit, aight?" Burter flashed a wink and took off at a sprint. Grass and other debris flew as his feet rose and fell fast enough to appear like .50 cal rounds strafing the ground. He began to run in circles around Cell, his body becoming little more than a blur. The wind followed his lead, spurred on by the energy that leaked from his body and seeped into the area of his circle. Soon Cell would find himself surrounded by a hurricane, raging with infused blue energy.
Once his storm had become self-sustaining, even if only for a moment, Burter broke off and slid to a stop with both arms raised. On one hand he splayed his fingers out wide and from each fingertip there came a thread of energy so thin that it was swept away by the cyclone, pulled tighter until it reached the epicenter of the storm and immobilized his opponent. From the other hand came a large energy blast so dense with destructive energy that it cut through the storm with an audible 'bang'.

Dragonfly
The Cell had to admit that Butter Hurricane was incredibly fast. The Creature itself had always considered itself especially quick when hunting or battling, but this alien gave new meaning to the term hurricane. No. It just reinforces the original meaning. Same word. Just also a fast butter on it. As the Creature’s wounds closed up, and its breathing regulated a little more easily, the Turtlebug asked for Cell’s name, “ We are Cell,” The Creature responded, and in return said, “ We are pleased to meet you as well.” At the request to return to ‘the fun shit’, the Cell nodded. Seemingly instantly, the alien began to run in a circle around the Cell. It looked around itself, wings fluttering in concern as it attempted to even see the blue alien. “ There. No. There? No. There. Somewhere. Not everywhere.” It murmured to itself. In growing concern, the Creature began to lift off the ground, head on a swivel and eyes darting everywhere as it attempted to get a bead on the blue blur. In a moment of panic, the Creature popped itself out of existence for a just an instant, escaping the eye of the whirlwind and taking refuge from the heart of the marring gales. As it reappeared, the Turtlebug was fast enough to fire two attacks at once. The one firing faster was the rude, sticky string of captivating energy. The Cell darted to to the side in an impossible lateral movement without moving its legs. “ Not falling for that one again,” The Creature mumbled. It seemed to be talking or chittering nonstop, but not necessarily in a conversation with the Butter Hurricane. Following that was a burst of condensed energy that aimed straight at the Creature’s core. The Cell took a step back and readied itself to knock the blast back towards its opponent with— Oh mustard! The attack came in much quicker than it had anticipated. The Cell let out a hiss and nearly toppled backwards as the attack reached it, batting it away at the last instant rather than knocking it away with some clever response. A flare of air exhaled from somewhere on the Creature’s face, indicating that somehow it seemed to have nostrils… somewhere. “ Not a fan, not a fan of the fast. Gotta go fast but can’t catch up. Might have to think of another strategy. Maybe something with… omelettes…” It spun a large circle in the air, coalescing the souls straggling around its body into a strange discus covered in misshapen teeth and claws, an amalgamation as hideous as the Creature itself. “ Catch it with your teeth!” The Cell shouted as it dropped the disc near the ground, kicking it forcefully towards the Blue Hurricane, counting on the unusual launching method to catch its opponent off guard. 1-2. Gotta Be fast to live fast Smiling at Cell's antics as the creature talked aloud but seemingly to himself, Burter marveled at the strangeness of his opponent. Now that he was closer he realized that there was more than just a single Powerlevel coming from the green-skinned alien. Instead it was as if there were countless ki signatures amassed atop one another to form a being of incredible strength. Cell was like Frankenstein's monster, right down to being good at heart but forced into battles it did not necessarily want because of its dastardly appearance. There was far more than met the eye, of that the Na'Vadian was sure.
"Shit, Imma try!" he shouted back at Cell's request. Doing something that he had no doubt Jeice would have scolded him for the soldier opened his mouth wide and waited until his opponent's disc o' horrors reached him before clamping down on it. From an onlooker's standpoint it would appear that he'd simply done as Cell said, catching the attack with his teeth. From the moment the disc had entered range though it was buffeted by an invisible barrier of Burter's own energy. The barrier coated the attack, handicapping its ability to hurt him nearly completely. Once he'd bitten down hard enough to stop the disc's spinning the energy became unstable and unraveled, dissipating into the wind. At the corner's of his mouth blood streamed down, though he was not badly injured. "How's that?" he replied with a tooth-filled grin.
My turn!
Hoping that his bold defensive scheme would leave Cell stunned, the warrior known as the Blue Hurricane returned to his bread-and-butter. His feet again pounded the dirt as he took off at a sprint around his foe. With part of his orbit passing through the still-raging storm he'd previously created he was able to draw from its rotational energy and pull it towards Cell again until the creature would be faced once more with a massive raging cyclone of blue-colored destruction. From his ever-moving position outside of the storm he launched first one, then two golden energy beams. These 'samplers' were followed closely by another large blue energy blast that ignored the gale winds to hawk down its target. While he hoped Cell was distracted, Burter weaved a cloud of energy into the storm that would paralyze his foe, preventing him entirely from moving.

Up the Water Spout
The battle had taken some strange turns, the Cell had to admit. Things were unusual when the giant monkey appeared, and then the Creature itself had set the forest on fire. Then the Turtlebug appeared and hit the Cell a bunch of times then kept doing it for the last several minutes. All in all, when the Creature thought of it, it was actually a regular battle with the exception of the monkey. The monkey had been weird.Where had it been going with this? Oh yes. The Butter Hurricane ate its ki attack. Not inhaled it, like some who ate energy had the ability to do, but bit down on it to the point where it shattered and became just shards of energy that joined the wind like dandelion seeds. Despite being mid-battle, where this thing was definitely trying to overwhelm the Cell, if not completely kill it, the Creature took a few moments to praise its opponent with a slow clap. “ We admit, you got us with that. Bluff called. You answered.” The break ended as quickly as it had begun, with the alien beginning to run in circles again. The Cell watched it for a moment before deciding that enough was enough and letting out a harrowing cry. A dozen wailing souls were expelled from its aura, disrupting the whirlwind that kept threatening to enclose around it. Of course, that didn’t stop its opponent, who fired off two golden beams of energy which struck the Cell and knocked it off balance. “ Ow-ow! Don't have an answer to that question. Not nice, Butter Hurricane! Uninvited from our birthday party!” When the next attack came, another dense ball of blue energy, the Cell stepped towards it, its form hazing out of existence in one specific place, before reappearing just beyond the attack as it sailed off into the forest. The fires started again shortly after, “ We think we can agree we’re not paying for that.” Before it had time to settle into the next round of combat, the Cell realized that the storm was reforming yet again. This alien, it seemed, was determined to keep the Cell from moving as much as possible. Keeping it in the storm, keeping it sticky and rude, keeping it still. But the Cell was made to move. Made to keep moving. Leaving spectres of itself in its wake, darkened wisps that seemed just out of focus, it danced away from the storm. Kicking off of the ground with each movement and keeping as erratic as possible, changing its mind on each step to prevent its opponent from predicting its movement. It had done this for the Kale’s massive beam but hadn’t come away from it without damage. This time, however, it needed to stay completely away. Keeping an eye on the haze was hard enough, but it had to keep away from it. It grew closer, with each and every movement it was threatening to overwhelm. The Cell had a hard time keeping control. The Cell had a hard time holding on to its...self. With one more burst it pulled upward into the sky, stretching itself wide and shouting in a mixture of despair and pain. “ The Butter Hurricane is not better than us! It will not stop... us!” As they spoke, as they moved, their eyes paled to a clear white, and their voices changed, multiplying with every voice that remained within them, all in unison. From within and without. The souls, the spectres, the relics from their energy blasts, everything that had been scattered to nothing across the battlefield joined in the unending chorus “ Nothing can contain us. We are THE CELL." They roared their own names, no longer a singular entity controlling a body, but several entities contained within one. "We will be everything. Everything joins The Cell. We. Can. Storm within, storm without Though Cell managed to escape his trap, Burter was far from finished with his pursuit. The storm was raging within him, fueling his desire to win. He hadn't met a worthy opponent that wasn't Azazel or the Cosmic Emperor in so long. It was like he was alive again for the first time in awhile. As his foe fled into the sky he slid to a momentary start. With a flick of his hand he redirected the blue energy blast that Cell had managed to dodge, sending it after the creature once more.
"Get your ass back here, nigga!" the Na'Vadian roared, then launching himself into the air after his opponent. With more room to run wild in the open air, Burter was able to push his storm to new heights. The winds grew more fierce, becoming strong enough to cut flesh with their speed alone.
The sky filled with the steady hum of the storm's vibration, becoming like a hundred trains speeding down the tracks together. After the battle had concluded, citizens dozens of miles away would still wonder where such a freak storm had erupted from. News channels would report on the strange happening for weeks, speculating on its cause and predicting on whether it would happen again. There would be no victims though - none outside of Cell.
"How amazing is this storm?! Aint it a thing of beauty?" Burter cackled eccentrically over the roar of the wind. ----------------- Attacks Taken (Round): N/A Ki Used: 17.5 Total Used: 50.5% | 54.1% [Pre/Post Power Up] Remaining: 20.4% DMG: 0% Prepared Weapon Techs: Improved Windmill, Verberation Blade, Final Smash 1) Sensu Bean

You can really tell that Cell is roleplaying for the speed action lol. His game from when he was fighting Kale just shot up and every defense is carefully crafted while he keeps control of the flow of battle even while pretty much only defending. I really liked Cell's switch back into battle mode, and the roleplay of that main assault. There's a lot of personality going on in his frustration that draws me in and makes me laugh. I know counters and telepathy are a pain in the ass to write, but was pretty disappointed by 'shit flashed by, I dodged.' One sentence finisher was also super disappointing. I do like how you're roleplaying the Azure Typhoon and keeping the maintains fresh, though I wish it were a little more targeted. Burter's spirit is pretty catching, and the barrier block of the Kienzen was great It made me wish the battle flow was different and you had more room for defense. Down Came The Rain
The Cell’s enraged madness was driven from them by the wild energy that returned for a second volley, smashing into the Creature’s back and thankfully returning it to its senses. The Creature was sent reeling by the attack, managing to catch itself in mid-air just in time for the Butter Hurricane to join it in the air. Its eyes filling with color again, regaining lucidity as it stopped upside down, voice and personality reacting in a manner completely different from the unholy triumphant roar that had preceded. “ What did you call us?” Righting itself and realizing that the alien had entered much the same fury as the Creature itself, it refocused on the battle. This happened just as the now airborne battle became more dangerous, with the winds beginning to lash at its flesh. The Creature let out a rumble of warning and its aura flared into existence to combat the winds. They would be less of a problem for a few moments although the buffeting storm gave it more than enough to worry about. The Cell wasn’t sure how many times it had dispersed this storm only to have it regrow. It was likely the core of the Butter Hurricane’s power. And that was fine. The clouds were roaring and the sky was crackling. The alien wanted a storm. The Cell would assist. “ It is,” The Creature acquiesced, “ Allow us to grace it with our own majesty.” Letting out a long, strained howl its power shot up to its zenith, reaching new heights as it had grown even during this battle. The souls and spirits that had danced around its body seemed to swim and swirl faster around its form, as though they were counteracting the storm around it by traveling against the winds. With a sudden snap, the ascension stopped and took hold, the Cell flying up into the clouds themselves. It didn’t seem like before. There was no loss of control, no struggle from within. It was pure and it was calm. The storm that had become the battlefield heavily contrasted the peace that it found when it worked in tangent with the souls within it. From the clouds themselves came crackles of energy. The alien’s storm was focused solely on Cell. The Cell offered no such luxury. As a warm up it had threatened to destroy the forest around them. Now, it was serious. The blast building seemed to be as great and wide as the clouds themselves. Over the hills, beyond the gale, the sun was letting a whisper of light into the atmosphere, dwarfed by the rolling energy above. Like a burst of lightning itself, the Cell dropped from the clouds in an unpredictable zigzag of trailing ghosts and fleeting whispers. Trailing and soon overwhelming the single figure was a veritable cascade of burning ki which fell like an instant scorching deluge over the battlefield and beyond. Even as the fiery ki flooded the once beautiful park, the Cell let loose a charge of energy bursts to join it, starting somewhere in the middle of the intense heat with one massive ball that soon dropped down over the battlefield like hail joining in the onslaught, as thought to truly say 'fuck this place in particular'. The rain had quickly turned to a pouring torrent. Now the Cell had to put its own personal touch on the storm. Emerging from somewhere within the new, very very different storm, was the Cell itself, covered in its own aura, a single fist extended and a howling hiss that shook the heavens as it aimed to pierce the alien straight through. Moonlight to Break the Storm From a far the storm was beautiful, even with the cloak of the night sky. The moon was no longer visible which did make the young emerald girl sad, but dwelling on her feelings would make her forget the reasoning for her to be here. Chirai had made strange acquaintances these last few months and a certain ship needed help keeping an eye on a friend she recently made. Chirai hung back at first, seeing that he was only battling against a woman. They exchanged pleasantries and the green girl could tell that Cell, the one she was convinced to check on, was getting tired.
Once the blue alien appeared, Chirai wanted to jump to action then, but she stopped herself. It wasn’t the right time. The girl was mildly seasoned in battle, but being with Juturna had helped her gain a sense of her style and also controlling the curse she was blessed with. This was definitely a moment to test out her new battle prowess. So she watched as the blue alien conjured literal storms to combat against The Cell and she was impressed.
Battle was meant to be beautiful and both Cell and Blue were doing their part at creating the canvas of engagement. The Cell’s last attack added its own loftiness to the atmospheric phenomenon and just as the green arthropod dove toward the blurring blue comet she acted. She wedged into three variants of herself and one of them took to the blue comet in a flight that flustered the winds around them. Her body secreted a thick fog slowly as it approached Burter, and then upon reaching him, especially barring he was surprised at the sudden entry, A thick wave of fog threatened to gobble them up and while it did such a thing, this adaptation of Chirai placed her hands against her eyes and flashed a flare of light into the thick fog, which increased the blinding effect around the blue guy.
That same girl gave off a confident smirk, even with her strength cut into three she had to give him a nice welcome and it came in the form of an explosive kick, which if it did make contact with him, would spin the fog into a miniature maelstrom. Her job was to keep him busy, and while this version of the girl did so, the other two also performed their supportive stunts. The first one, or the original, tensed her body as ten tiny dots of energy seemed to painfully pop from the pores on her skin.
She winced and there was a tiny audio being suppressed underneath her breath.
“Shit. That hurt.”
She needed some time to put those dots of energy to work. While she stood there, the third one, which did not engage into fisticuffs with the alien, looked over to The Cell with her hoodie half way cloaking her head and hands in her pocket. Her purple eyes scanned him for a moment.
“Stay awake for me. Jutters sent me, so don’t get too confused.” At the words stay awake, she pulled a Monster brand energy drink out of her hoodie pocket and tossed it over to The Cell and then looked up to the sky. She pointed her hand upward, each finger outstretched almost to their maximum stretch. From her shoulder came a spiral of energy which looked more like veins. Once they connected at the palm of her hand she fired a bright ball of energy to clear the clouds and display the moon she missed so much.
The Chirai which attempted to tango with Burter spoke to him.

First things first, man, you're the fuckin worst Despite all that he had thrown at the creature, Cell showed an amazing resiliency. He took the lumps like a man and kept coming back for more. As admirable as it was anyone could have predicted that a man stuck on the defensive was a man in a bad position. It seemed, in fact, that even Cell knew, finally making an effort to turn the tides. After a dramatic charge up sequence that seemed to simultaneously pump up and calm the insectoid warrior he rose higher into the sky. After a few seconds he unleashed an energy blast of epic magnitude.
Amazed by this sudden burst of energy, Burter slowed his frantic spiraling to a halt and watched the enormous collection of energy bear down on him. "Here's goes nothin," he muttered with a dogged grin. With one fist held straight out before him the Na'Vadian raced to meet his maker. Dim in comparison to the energy blast aimed his way, but bright in relation to the rest of the storm-shrouded battlefield, his ring glowed furiously on his outstretched hand.
As the first wave of heat hit him Burter released a roar of pain and squeezed his eyes shut. For a few seconds he pretended the world around him wasn't on fire, and that all was well. As if commanded by his will the heat disappeared, replaced instead by the pitter-patter of rain against his skin. He opened his eyes to see a second - smaller - energy blast dropping from Cell's perch within the clouds. He crossed his arms over his head and took the blow head on, grunting on impact. The pain he endured was lessened greatly by the shield of flames that leaped up between his skin and his enemy's energy.
Pressing his advantage, Cell swooped out of the sky and made a course directly for him. His momentum and outstretched fist betrayed his intentions. Faster in every aspect except for one, Burter held his arms out and grasped his spear with both hands. He met his opponent's fist with the shaft of his weapon, immediately dropping and rolling his shoulder and allowing the creature's momentum to transfer through the spear. It pushed him straight down and out of the way of the freight train that Cell had become. The rough shove jammed his shoulders but otherwise left him unharmed.
"My turn again!" the Na'Vadian yelled with excitement. He turned to pursue Cell only to find himself facing a cloud of rolling smoke. Puzzled, he swiped his spear through the cloud, clearing it with ease. As if concealed within the smoke like a prize of some sort, a bright flash of light struck his eyes the moment his spear passed through the smoke. The flash forced him to drop his spear to clutch at his eyes, if only for a second.
Apparently a second, though was all that was needed for his opponent to strike again. A kick, far too weak to belong to Cell, met his gut. There was a small explosion, though this too he was somewhat shielded from by the flames that still licked hungrily at his body. Forcing his eyes open so quickly that they bulged from their sockets, Burter finally laid eyes on the newest arrival to the battlefield. Offering him a brief respite, she took the time to compliment his speed, even going so far as to ask if he would teach her to be as quick.
The Na'Vadian scoffed, his eyes moving behind the girl. There he saw, to his amazement, two more identical women, each near Cell. This was not a simple third-party wanting to get in on the fun, this was an ally to the bug creature. An unwelcome guest to a fair and up-until-then thrilling sparring session. The energy coming from the three women, he noticed, was as identical as their faces.
Split form technique...
Alone, he'd have handled either of the two warriors soundly. Together they were a far more formidable pair than he had an interest in tangling with. And while Cell had seemed friendly enough - willing even to have a battle in which neither party intended to kill each other - he could not afford to chance that this woman would share such a sentiment. It was time he returned to Jeice.
"You know what? I'd love to. Watch this, nigga," he said with a fang-filled grin. To his right a portal opened through which he threw his body with haste. Some distance away, out of sight of the destoyed battlefield, another portal opened near the ground. When he stepped out of it he had already reduced his powerlevel to such a low-level that he doubted he'd even be detectable. Before he made his grand escape he noticed a small drive of some sort laying in the grass. Feeling an odd compulsion to grab the device, Burter scooped it with one hand as he sped away from the battle, pouring what energy he had left into making his escape a nimble one. Fleeing from battle didn't sit well with him, but winning a meaningless fight that he'd only chanced upon any wasn't a risk that was worth the potential reward.

I won't let go of you, not yet...
There was a large gash of hope in her eyes when he told her to watch and she was doing just that and with all six eyes. A portal of some kind manifested and swallowed the blue man whole. This wasn’t speed and it disappointed her. Was he going to run now? It was the smartest decision to make considering the circumstances, but Chirai was a little battle hungry. Disappointment was not going to be something she settled on. No. The girl decided she was not letting him get away, after all she had just gotten there. His energy signature popped up somewhere else and all three forms of her looked that way.
One of the two closest to Cell pointed.
“He went that way. If he is running, why doesn’t he mask that big presence?” Little did Chirai even know, he probably didn’t know how to. It was easy to deduct, but he was pretty far away and now seemed to be getting further and further by the second. The only way Chirai saw herself catching up to him was…
Stopping the Clock. She understood that ki ran through every aspect and every dimension, but how would it affect the passage of time? Chirai wasn’t a scholar, she was a dreamer more than anything. So she concentrated on that concept. Stopping time with her power. A vein pushed up from the side of all three of their heads and they hunched over in a pained expression.
As they did things around them began to slow down. If Burter looked around him he’d notice it too, it was subtle but the falling of leaves were getting slower. Birds began to flap their wings at a decreased velocity. Even his own movements began to slow down, and what made it interesting was that he probably could tell.
The Cell would see it too if he decided to pay attention. The things around them slowed down until it was to a sudden stop. The gang green trio opened their eyes to see what they accomplished and each gave off a different grin. Now it was time to chase.
He wasn’t going anywhere yet.
All three of them took off in the direction they sensed him. On the way there, they each consumed two beverages to help replenish some of their stressed out energy reserves. As they flew their path on the look out for him, they looked all around them and were in awe at just how successful stopping time was. They could still feel the strain of holding it, as well.
It felt as if they were holding a rope in both hands while on each end was a car driving away from them. They felt their grasp on it slipping but it didn’t slip until they had him surrounded. When time resumed to Burter they would have just appeared out of nowhere and just that split second was enough for him to act. Even so, two of the three girls attacked.
The first one dropped another bomb of smoke to mask the rest of the attacks. One of those attacks was a thin string of energy threatening to wrap around the blue alien and hold him in place.
“That was fast, but I’m not letting you go that easy. You are going to need more than just speed to escape from me.”
The second Chirai shot a very small ring of energy at Burter. It would expand and clasp around the torso of the blue guy. Whether that was successful or not, she pulled her left hand back and gathered energy into her palm. An electrifying beam of energy pulsed out from her as she thrusts her left hand forward toward the side of his head. It wouldn’t hurt as much, but his muscles would definitely feel.

Colony?
The Cell twisted hard against the Butter Hurricane’s weapon, landing in a slump on the ground and quickly picking itself back up. The alien had done an impressive job of dealing with its part of the attacks, but it seemed as though another power had shown up in the meantime. No, it had been there, the Cell realized. The lining of the sun had brought another into the field, but in dividing its power by three, the calm fury of the Cell hadn’t noticed it until it sat next to the Creature. “ The Jutters sent you?” The Cell said, catching the drink and looking at the green alien from whence it came. “ The Jutters sent us… help?” Regardless of whether the help was necessary, the Cell had been deemed fit to receive it, and that was something that the Creature had never expected. As it understood these things, having allies, having friends was something that required acceptance. This was something that the Cell had not contemplated ever having. Picking itself up and looking at the drink, it realized that it had never had a canned beverage before. There was a moment, after the girl had gone, when the Cell pondered just how to drink this. Seeing a silver rim curled just around the top, it figured that must have been the proper opening point. Using a single claw to peel it back like a can opener, it opened the drink and chugged it down at once. Which proved to be a mistake. A fiery burp shot out of its mouth and its mind raced with infinite thoughts. Pupils dilated as its left eye twitched uncontrollably. “ Oh dang,” it said as it moved its body faster than it had intended. The sugar and everything else rushed through its body, a perfect machine intended to absorb and adapt, fortifying and partially numbing it to the future of combat. Realizing now that the Butter Hurricane had departed without even saying goodbye, the Cell blasted towards it only to have its hypersonic movement slowed. The rain drops splashing around it, remnants from the storm that the green alien had dissipated, began to slow around its face, drawing its attention before— Everything came back in a rush. Like a streaming film with video jerking to catch up to the audio, the Cell felt itself lurched forward in the strangest sense. Its organs seemed to jostle, either an effect of the time dilation or the energy drink, as it continued its full blown rush towards the Butter Hurricane. Whether its piercing fist landed or not, the Creature rolled to a stop and stood up. Flicking a burst of energy behind it, aiming straight for the blue alien, the Cell remarked, in a perfect imitation of Burter’s voice, “ I kinda already got started so uh… hope you understand.” Before the energy exploded in the Azure Tornado’s face. Turning to face its opponent again, the Cell rushed in for a close bout of physical combat, the true heart of battles like this. It fully expected to be rebuffed, but couldn’t help wondering if the Butter Hurricane had the fortitude to take the challenge. Meanwhile, towards the green alien, the Cell sent a telepathic message. There were no words, as the Creature itself didn’t understand how to convey verbal messages telepathically, but the feeling of warmth reached out towards her. may the odds be ever in your favor, and if not, fuck the odds Finding his escape suddenly blocked by all three versions of the intruder in his battle, Burter gasped. He'd been confident that he was fast enough to get away unimpeded, but here was this trio, appearing out of thin air. Before he could gather himself for some kind of response he was covered in smoke again. The thick fumes burned his eyes and his nostrils, distracting him until he was trapped by a rope so thin he could barely see it shining through the smoke.
As the girl proceeded to taunt him the Na'Vadian clenched his teeth. "Aight then fuck the escape, let's scrap bitch!" He dropped the drive in his hand and wrenched his arms upwards, breaking his bonds and clearing the smokescreen in one motion. He immediately moved towards his pursuer but before he could mount any kind of counter attack he heard a whistling coming towards him. His attention torn away, he saw Cell closing in on him fast with his arm extended.
"Shit!" he yelled, throwing his arm up to protect himself. A band on his wrist glowed and exuded a barely-visible shield that took the full brunt of the attack, even absorbing the momentum and dispersing it into the air so that a shockwave of air rushed away from the impact of the two titans. With a shrug of his shoulder he threw the creature away from him but Cell hit the ground and rolled neatly back to his feet, sending a small energy blast his way with almost perfect rhythm. The blast struck his barrier, harmlessly breaking itself apart.
Faced with two attackers, Burter considered his options for a moment before Cell threw an unsettling taunt his way by imitating his exact tone and voice inflection from earlier. Though that was enough for the soldier to decide who he wanted to party with first the decision seemed to be shared by his bug-like enemy. Cell rushed upwards to meet him, apparently looking to exchange a round of fisticuffs - a prospect that Burter looked forward to greatly because it meant the creature's new ally couldn't throw any serious attacks his way without worrying about hitting his own side.
Meeting Cell in mid-air, Burter began to unload a series of jab set-ups at the alien's face. As if excited by the new arrangement that the battle had taken the flames that surrounded his feet before jumped up his body and to his hands, eager to lick at his opponent's flesh. ----------------- Attacks Taken (Round): [10% Damage Reduction] [ Chirai | Cell] - Freezer Beam (DR: 0.5)- 10% Ki Shockwave (DR: 5.5)
