History: Nikolas Kranzer; aka Niko was the fourth born son in what some would consider a powerful family. Several generations had built a manufacturing business from the ground up. Despite being their fourth child Niko’s parents held high hopes for his future. Not only did he exhibit intellect but he also possessed as shrewd sense for business. The attention his parents gifted him caused a rift to form among his other siblings. All with the exception of Tristan; Niko’s youngest brother. Niko and Tristan were close growing up.
Tristan never showed an interest in joining the family business but most Kranzer children weren’t given an option. Three years into Niko’s apprenticeship Tristan ran away from home and enlisted in the Damaskian military without warning or consent from their parents. Having the closest ties to Tristan their parents naturally held Niko accountable. The situation only grew more volatile when Tristan vanished without a trace during a mission. Niko was cast out and disinherited.
Without a sense of purpose the young Damaskian drifted aimlessly until he was grabbed by some pirates. They’d discovered the truth of his lineage and sought a ransom for his safe return. When it became clear there would be no ransom Niko was sold off to a small criminal organization based out of Cactaylisma. For three years he was forced to bloody his hands in service as an enforcer.
Just when he thought he’d had enough and saw no hope a new force arrived and destabilized the many organizations that ruled the planet. During the chaos that ensued a series of unfortunate accidents befell key members of the organization he served. With the path now clear Niko planned to raise himself up and take the place he felt was his by right. He realized it was time to show the galaxy who he was.
