and i know i'm supposed to have a backstory but my character doesn't have one it's part of his character thank you for understanding
Bowie leisurely sipped his wine. He gave a satisfied and refreshing sigh of delight as he regally twirled his wine glass. A cool breeze swept through the restaurant patio and the crisp air was a welcomed addition to his afternoon venture of fine dining.
The day was perfect.
Absolute perfection.
And there would be nothing - no possible event - that could ever have the slightest chance of ruining his experience.
His waitress approached him with a professional smile and a practiced Italian accent designed to give each and every customer an authentic experience. Bowie appreciated the facade nonetheless.
"Good aftoinoon sirrr-a, ow may I be of soivice to you today?" The waitress asked him.
"Posso avere il Vitello Piccata con asparagi grigliati e patate?"
The waitress stared at him blankly. Bowie said nothing, and the silence between there lingered until it reached the peak of discomfort.
The pause was broken by Bowie having a heart-felt laugh. His laughter was contagious it seemed, as the waitress began to laugh as well, albeit with a hint of trepidation.
"I was kidding my dear," Bowie began to say. Oh how he wished he could have taken a snapshot of her face. He would kill to have such a priceless moment immortalized on his wall. It would fill his heart with such joy....
"I knew that you were not familiar with the native tongue, I just decided to speak use the language in jest," Bowie explained. "I asked for the Vitello Piccata with grilled asparagus and potatoes."
The waitress gave him a slow nod of understanding and wrote his order down on a small notepad.
"Is dere anything else tat I cano elp you with today sirrr-a?" The waitress asked him in a composed manner.
Bowie simply smiled. "Oh no dear, that will be all."
The waitress collected his menu and turned to leave, but Bowie raised his hand catch her attention.
"Actually, one small thing," Bowie began to say. A dark veil befell his visage.
"How would you like to be added to my collection?"
