From amidst the treetops Entoma watched on as a vibrant red-skinned man had now joined the fray against the lone midget. Her new vantage point had already proven to be quite useful. Maintaining good visibly was a far greater challenge while on the ground. Now she could look down on the battle from above with a much wider range of view, allowing her to track their positions quite effortlessly. The change in scenery came at just the right time as well. Another two powerful combatants had shown up soon after. Things were starting to get dicey. Entoma could tell that her full might wasn't nearly enough to match with some of these guys, even in her currently empowered state. Hanging around was starting to feel like a poor option for her to endure. Another ping from her scouter detecting a new presence headed in her direction only reaffirmed this suspicion. Hm... more food is arriving...This incoming warrior was a bit on the weaker side when compared to the others currently here but not by much. They were still better suited to her current level of power though and appeared to be traveling alone. Hunting a single target like this one while keeping herself hidden away from the others didn't seem like it would be an arduous task. With any luck, these guys would take themselves out and Entoma could come back around later to sort through the remaining scraps. The thought of procuring their DNA to use in her experiments brought on a delightful smile. Before that could happen, however, she'd have to intercept this stray and so she left her perch immediately. To catch this wanderer by surprise, Entoma shrouded her true power and darted off into the dense foliage. She then threw her hand forward and summoned one of the many minions under her employ from within her sleeve. A centipede suddenly appeared from the dark cavity inside. It was quite small at first, some might even say rather cute but once it touched the ground it had rapidly grown to a monstrous size. It had large black scales covering the most of its exposed body and silver legs that numbered somewhere in the thousands, each razor-sharp and nearly as long as Entoma was tall. Normally a hunter would set up a trap or use bait to catch their prey but this guy should provide a suitable distraction. 'Go my thousand bone bug, rend his flesh.'The insect queen whispered a command in the critter's native tongue and it quickly acknowledged, burrowing deep underground in response. From there, she took on a jagged flight path of her own to approach this new spectator from their flank. Meanwhile, the massive multi-legged vermin burrowed its way towards the unknown intruder head-on. If the rumbling of the thousand bone bug digging through the surface wasn't enough to grab the invader's attention then its attack from below with sword-like mandibles would surely do the trick. At the same time, Entoma flew in from the man's side as she released the restriction over her power letting it all rush forward. Her eyes held the man with a sinister gaze as she drew closer, waiting for an opportune time to pounce. Once a chance presented itself she spewed forth a paralytic web towards him. 'That's enough, retreat,' commanded the insect queen. It was better to get that big guy out of the way lest he crushed all the good hiding places with his overgrown body. His purpose had been served. As she flew past the wanderer's location, Entoma tossed a talisman that she had prepared beforehand at the man's feet and then took a hard turn for a higher position within the treetops. The paper was marked in blood with the symbol of an ankh, a shamanistic item designed to restrain evil entities. The charm quickly began to smolder in dark flames before it erupted in a violent wave of energy at the stranger's position. She then altered her course once more with the sight of the charms expulsion and barreled down from above. "Hehe, you're mine now," the young girl quirked as she twisted and turned along the path back towards the man, sporadically jaunting to either side in an attempt to mask the destination of her desire. Her eyes remained locked on his person as best they could, trying to make note of any movements he made as she altered her course through the trees in pursuit of him accordingly. As the distance closed, she let out one final burst of speed and guided her small frame directly at the man's chest. 'Mmm, what's this...' mumbled the young girl beneath her breath. With such proximity between them now, Entoma could get a good look at him. He was much taller than her and quite handsome by most standards. His appearance was human but that wasn't quite the case with this one. At such short distance, she easily caught a whiff of this guy's scent and her chest began to tighten. The rush of emotion was so strong that her growing hunger almost went out of control. She was already feeling quite famished due to the disturbance in her laboratory earlier and having missed snack time as a result. After smelling this guy just now a mouthful of drool was sent bursting through her lips. He wasn't a normal human being like he appeared but instead a demon. That was her favorite dish and with that amount of power coursing through his body, she was sure he'd be delicious. Entoma quickly covered her mouth in a bit of a panic and drifted back into the dense foliage. The smell of him alone was almost too much for her to take. She had to put some distance between them again and wipe the remnants of saliva from her mouth. She hoped it wasn't already falling out from behind her mask. She would've felt embarrassed if he had noticed. Did he see? He must have seen? Whatever, I'll just roast him. Ah, I bet he tastes wonderful! The young girl's thoughts had obstructed her from the task at hand for a moment but that had soon changed. After cleaning up her face a bit, she was ready to resume and strafed around the man's position. Black smoke gathered around her wrist and formed a magic circle above her left palm. During which time, another dark stream, much smaller than the other, developed into a similar pattern just above the tip of her right index finger. Entoma then pointed at the man with her right hand as she swiftly darted around his side and swished her finger like she was stirring marshmallows in a cup of hot cocoa. She chanted the words, "Piercing wind", as she moved, releasing an invisible stream of energy that was sent winding out in a coil at the demons lower back as she passed by. During this time the circle in her left hand had gathered enough energy and she raised it to the sky. Similar to before, she chanted the words, "Lightning Bird Swarm", and two violet birds wiggled their way out of the puddle of ki in her palm. Both quickly flew off along a twisted path overhead before colliding with one another, creating a barrage of smaller variations that rained down on her destined prey. The insect queen continued this process multiple times, switching between the invisible whip and flock bombardment all while flying around amidst the trees that surrounded her soon to be a snack. Each attack was just as deadly as the last while coming from alternate locations where she thought they would best provide some form of cover. From large bushes to treetops covered in branches and leaves, if it could mask his sight even the slightest she'd use it to her advantage. After various attempts to tenderize and bake this demon, Entoma's yearning had finally taken hold. She had to get closer and embrace his succulent scent once more. Compelled to move in, the girl planted her feet momentarily against the bottom of a large tree and prepared herself. She then pressed off its thick trunk with both legs and burst through the brushes with all the speed she could muster, launching herself straight at the demons back with her mouth wide open. "Mmm, so hungry..."

VASH [Base PL: 860,692; Champion II; Combat Rune] The Winona sat still in Maverick's atmosphere, magnetically tethered to the Finis. Vash had been travelling with Tarble and Yamato for some time now, but still liked having his personal space available to him when he needed it. He was waiting for his comrades to return so they could leave this god forsaken place. Off to bigger and better things. "I wont be long, I swear," the Saiyan had said before heading down to the planet's surface. Yamato followed him shortly after to help move things along. That now seemed like hours ago, and now neither of them were answering their comms. They must have run into trouble, Vash shook his head impatiently. Welp, off I go to save their sorry asses, again.Drabbed in his signature red leather duster, Vash teleported down to the planet's surface, choosing not to haphazardly throw himself right in the thick of things. Instead he settled for some breathing room to get a grasp on the situation at hand. His scouter trilled through its cycle as he scanned the horizon to pinpoint his comrade's location, and also see if he could pick out who was causing the delay. The scouter beep as he clicked the side button, sorting through the menu's options. "Update required?!" Vash complained as the message popped up on the display. "For fuck's sake I don't have time for this nonsense. Looks like there's two powers with them now, probably more on the --" His sentence was cut short as his nostrils flexed, sniffing at the air. "My god.. What is that awful smell?" A small herd of cattle mooed to his left, pulling his attention toward them first before he looked back down at his feet. "Ohhh that's just fucking great," he whined as he lifted his right boot up and out of a fresh pile of feces. "I just got these back from the cleaners..." With no time to waste he dragged his boot across a patch of grass before he took off to join his friends. How am I gonna explain this one to them? he thought as he darted through a patch of trees. ’Oh, sorry I’m late guys, had to deal with some bullshit real quick?’Suddenly, the demon’s momentum came to an abrupt, screeching halt. Something was off. What the hell? He could feel the earth trembling beneath his feet, increasing in intensity with each second. Jump… Now! A lifetime of battle hardened instincts shouted from within, instructing his muscles to leap at the last moment. Gargantuan mandibles erupted from below, clasping at the air the demon had just stood. ”Jesus Christ!” On your left! A sudden energy spike drew the Crimson Typhoon’s gaze. The crackle of electricity rang through the forest. An all too familiar net of energy flew at him in a hurry. ”Now, now, I know this one!” he scolded as he reached out telepathically, stopping the net’s momentum and holding it hostage. ”You’re going to have to do better than that!” A symbolic flick of his wrist sent the net back towards it’s originator. Vash could hear the word retreat from his assailant’s lips, and the massive insect obeyed. Relief that he might have seen the last of that grotesque creature was a comforting feeling as it bounded off into the wood. He turned his attention back to the stranger just in time to see her rush by. She had left something at his feet. ”Hey creepy bug lady!” he hollered as he bent down and picked the item up. ”I think you dropped somethin’!” It was a piece of parchment, marked with an ankh, inked in blood. The relic burst into flames in the demon’s grip, singed his fingers, his hand recoiled from the burn. ”Aww, it was a love note!” He joked through annoyed, gritted teeth. Whoever this person was, she had clearly come to hold Vash up. It had to have something to do with whoever Tarble and Yamato were dealing with. And that’s when he felt it. The overwhelming sense of douchebaggery in the air. He knew the feeling well, stemming all the way back to his time in the Justice League. The Cosmic Empire… his eyes squinted in disgust. Vash wasn’t sure how just yet, but he knew they were involved in this distraction. Now fully on guard, flames swirled around his body as he called upon his demonic power. His blond hair shaded to an oily black to match the set of wings that shot out of his back. The sweet release of transformation. It was like a muscle that needed to be stretched for so long. And it happened not a moment too soon. He braced himself as the attacker slammed into his chest with an incredible burst of speed. As he struggled to remain upright, expecting a follow through, something strange happened. The girl moved around him, scuffling about, sniffing at the air and grunting, licking her chops. I think… I think she wants to fuckin’ eat me! the realization washed over him. The girl, this… creature… She was a wild one, wasn’t she. Not in the sense Vash was used too, either. ”Look here, bitch,” Vash put his hands up, palms outward. ”I don’t want you gettin’ any crazy ideas now. If you wanna eat someone, I know a guy, his name is Yan, I bet he tastes like ginger. But, thing is, I really don’t have time to be messin’ with you right now so I think I’ll be on my--”Pain cut his sentence short, as once again his own mouth left him vulnerable. A sharp yelp left his throat as an invisible whip crackled on his back. His frame arched as his hands reached to coddle the pained area. A bombardment of energy blasts rained down from above before he could react. Rinse, and repeat. Whip. Rain. Whip. ”ENOUGH!” Vash cried out, arms thrust out to his sides in protest as another invisible whip slashed at him. His jacket now ripped to shreds, hair disheveled, looking like he had just been trampled by a herd of elephants, he stood defiantly. His chest rose and fell heavily with each breath. He could hear the rustling of the foliage as she made her final move. ”Fool me once, shame on me...” he snarled as the feral girl whiffed on his after image, his figure reappearing safely out of harms way. Now, it was his turn. But, first thing’s first. Vash rifled through his pocket and pulled out a small handheld device and pressed a couple of buttons on it. ”Look, lady, I don’t know who you are or what I’ve done to piss you off,” he hissed as a drone flew in over the top of them. ”But you picked the wrong demon to fuck with.” A massive energy field shot out from the drone, settling on the area like a dome. It would help keep any would be party crashers at bay, but more importantly, it would trap her inside with him. Vash charged at her with an insane burst of speed. He would let ‘Hall and Oates’ do the talking here, as he withdrew his energy revolvers and fired off a volley of shots while he closed the gap. All the while compiling his energy within. Vash leapt into the air and launched four energy rings, each one seeking out an appendage on his opponent. Better double it up for good measure, he nodded to himself before launching a second set. This oughta slow the bitch down at least. The thousand bone bug was largely successful in creating a distraction, although that was about all it was worth. Entoma expected as much, it wasn't often that he managed to catch his prey by surprise. Her own flanked attack was the real prize and it had nearly pinned him down until his eyes shifted in its direction. The electrified web had suddenly stopped midair causing the girl to flinch. Her head tilted to the side at his words. "Know it huh... then what about this!" Entoma's eyes flashed with a violet hue as she exerted telekinetic powers of her own on the web dispelling his mental grasp and allowing the net to proceed towards him unobstructed. "Hehehe."Continuing her onslaught, the Insect Queen ignored the demons quibbles and rude remarks for the most part. She was used to being degraded by others and looked down on. Even being ostracized by the rest of society wasn't outside the regular treatment she had endured. Entoma was well aware of how different she was when compared to the rest of the normies out there. Being unique was something she took pride in. Standing outside the box had its perks. She was free from the constraints of immature pleasantries. It wasn't until the man started shouting that he truly garnered a response. Although, that was more so because of the way his scent filled the air when his garments were torn to shreds. "Mmm... Tasty." Entoma was so close, she could feel the moisture of the man's sweat in the air. Drool was dripping from her lips again and she had to wipe it. The man appeared quite distraught after such a thorough tenderizing. His response was inevitable given this bizarre situation and one that she would expect from his point of view. In her experience, meals on wheels always had trouble understanding why they were on the menu. Unlike his predecessors though, this guy was rocking some giant metallic nuggies. Rather than flee in terror like a frightened child, or curl up into a fetal position like most often did, his retort was to instead stand his ground. She was delighted by his decision to provide the young girl with a delivery service. He was even so courteous as to ensure this Queen would have a fine dining experience that wouldn't be interrupted by unwelcome guests. "My-my, quite the gentlemen." Entoma was just starting to see this dashing lad in a new light but then he had to go and ruin it by bringing his toys to the table. The young girl's head tilted to the side as she frowned at the man. A surge of images then entered her mind. They showed her a path to take and a rhythm to follow. She focused on the vision intently and soon began to move, mimicking the dance of destiny as she weaved through the forestry like a delicate flower in the wind. As if taken straight out of a fairy-tale, sparks were quite literally flying all around as gunshots peppered the bark of trees while Entoma took to the refugee behind them. The trunks were much thinner higher up while the demon was left scurrying around at their base. Even a herd of stray cattle had joined the duo in their flow when the girl returned towards the ground, although they were quickly turned into little bits of ground beef after being riddled with shells. "Like to play with toys do you," the Insect Queen quarried as she popped out from behind what remained of the minced bovines. Her left arm was held up and pointed towards the demon but before she even had the chance to show off some of her little goodies, a strangle looking gold ring latched onto her supple wrist. Her remaining limbs were fettered soon after as she stared in surprise. At first glance, they appeared like nothing more than fashionable accessories. She was about to comment on the demon's potential desire to buy her off with a handful of jewelry when a sudden jolt of pain went coursing through her lithe body. "Waaaaaa!" Entoma screamed in agony. The pain that accompanied these gifts was much more than she could have anticipated. Trails of smoke bellowed from her limbs as the manacles dissipated and the searing pain had begun to subside. It was clear to her now that this man wasn't as refined as she was previously led to believe. Rings of charred flesh now blemished the absolute perfection that was her porcelain-like skin. This was an outrage, a travesty even; they were likely to leave a scar. Displeased with his defiant behavior, the Insect Queen threw both hands out towards the demon. A deep violet mist emerged from the darkness within each sleeve forming an array of symbols that were outlined in a thin circle band. "Bullet bugs!" At Entoma's command, a swarm of overgrown Lampyris Noctiluca poured out from each magical formation ready to commence bombardment. With a subtle push, the fireflies dashed towards their Queens prey knowing full-well their lives would be spent in a glorious series of explosions. Entoma then pulled up her left sleeve to reveal a Dolichovespula Maculata attached to her arm. She continued to chase after the demon from above while using the bald-faced hornet on her arm like a rifle, firing bursts of larva from its butt. As if changing her clip, she stuffed a strange-looking gem down the insect's throat and continued her pursuit, lobbing larger grub than before. The girl was having so much fun playing tag that she even forced the bug to feed off more of her energy when the precious stone had run out of juice, giggling like a child as she hunted down her next meal. It wasn't until her pet had inadvertently died, having overfed, that her giddy laughter had finally ended. "Oops!" Still sensing her prey amidst the dust and scattered debris Entoma lunged towards the man for a delightful taste of what was to come.

"Hang around me long enough and I'll show you all my toys," Vash jested back. For a second he realized just how creepy the sentence came off, but he quickly shrugged the notion away.
This bug lady was definitely resilient, and unlike any enemy he had come in contact with before. Things weren't adding up, he could sense her power level, he should be able to dispense of her with relative ease. But, here she was, giving him fits.
Finally, at long last, something stuck. The sound of her wailing was like music to his ears. She had gotten the drop on him from the get go, and his initial attempts at retaliation were in vain, evidenced by the literal holy cow left in her path. I wonder if that's how they make Swiss cheese? he had thought at the time. Better to leave that comment holstered.
She was quick to bounce back on the offensive, pelting Vash with more of her loyal, explosive insect swarm. He could feel the toll really setting in now, his signature duster a shell of its former glory. Blood began to creep out of the corners of his lips from the internal injuries bubbling to the surface like a high school science project gone awry.
I cant let her continue on like this...[/I] he began to panic. Tarble and Yamato need me...
Through all the chaos, Vash was able to notice she had shoved something inside one of her bugs before sending it off on the attack. He could feel the ancient energies radiating from it as it closed in on him. "This could be a problem..." he muttered to himself. Thinking quickly, the demon thrust his hands out in front, calling forth a shroud of mystical energy. On contact his temporal shield reacted with whatever she had forced down the creature's throat, combusting into a fiery field that enveloped the Crimson Typhoon, adding a little extra meaning to his nickname. It wasn't enough to stop her onslaught, but it would help.
Suddenly, something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye. What he thought was a decorative stone attached to his armor began to radiate. A beam of light shot out of it, grabbing hold of one of her explosive creatures, and trapping it within. "Huh, didnt know it did that," he shrugged a little surprised with the result, but he wasnt about to question it. "I just thought it looked cool."
He would take all the help he could get at this point, as the persistent little bugger, pun intended, threw herself at him once again. She would, of course, connect once more, but this time be met with a wall of fire for her efforts.
At this rate, their skirmish would be over much sooner than he could have ever expected, and certainly not in his favor. While she dealt with ramming into the flame barrier, he quickly popped a sensu bean into his mouth. He felt so re-energized it was electrifying. Literally. Sparks ignited all around him as his core surged with power, unleashing a ring of energy expanding outwards, directed at his opponent with a wave of his hand. Wanting to capitalize while he had the chance, Vash burst forward with an insane influx of speed, phasing in and out of visibility before a shotgun blast of energy rocketed out of his extended palm, right at her face. "Suck on this!" he yelled valiantly.

Entoma's eyes narrowed as she spotted her advisory amidst the wallowed dust and debris. He had somehow survived an impressive rain of artillery with narrowly a scratch. It was quite the awe-inspiring display like some kind of mighty king that transverse the battlefield in lieu of his own soldiers, slaughtering all in his path. Zeta frowned in disdain as she reached into her sleeve and pulled out a small insect she held in her palm. "Clockwork Cricket, roll that back." The vermin followed Zeta's command and an old timely pocket-watch poofed into reality. He then grabbed one of the hands and gave it a spin. Time itself reversed and Entoma was once again in chase of the demon with a hail of buffed up grub from her critter cannon in hand. A short time later and things were back to normal as though nothing had ever changed. "Waaaaah!" Entoma let out an ear-piercing screech after she collided with the demon's staunch chest like a bird off a windshield. She anticipated a nice taste of his meaty flesh but was instead obstructed by an impregnable wall that sent her tumbling to the ground like a rag-doll. Her clothes were left in absolute tatters that revealed patches of bruised or cut flesh beneath their ragged remains. Even the ladybug mask she wore to keep her true face hidden from the world was now tarnished with dirt and left falling apart. It was clear her cute pet was dying and yet she was all but helpless to save the distorted critter she had adored. The Insect Queen grit her teeth in anger by the unexpected turn of events and swiftly shifted her gaze to the man that had so tragically ruined her perfectly cute figure. She was practically seething with rage while she stared daggers at her prey despite the writhing agony she felt and yet the demon stood looming over her as calm as a millpond. Something was strange. He was oddly too confident as if lauded as a hero in the eyes of all those around him. Then his hand came up higher as though he was preparing to smite the vilest scum in existence but there was nothing she could do. Her wounds still burned with anguish but she was content to suffer it through. It came as no surprise that the demon would be relentless after the humiliation he endured at the girl's hands thus far. A gift from the gods had surely fortified whatever meager amount of courage he carried with him as begun a pursuit of the young lass almost immediately with a radiating wave of energy. Entoma was no stranger to rejection. She understood this was a clear sign he didn't want her anywhere near him. Unfortunately, she wouldn't accept the refusal of a feeble-minded meal. Instead, her eyes glazed over with a violet hue and she harnessed every last once of her formidable will over the tide that approached. Zeta then clasped her hands together like any other desperate infidel while ignoring the pain it caused her and offered a plight to whatever superior entity there was that towered above them while plucking at the strings of fate. She hoped to be granted similar mercy as was previously afforded to her prey. To Entoma's surprise, her petition had been heard and the ring that expanded towards her came to screeching halt. It twisted and struggled a first but soon transformed into the very same web that had been magically poofed from existence only moments ago and was now closed in towards the demon from above. Benevolent as the act was, it only provided Zeta with a mild reprieve from the ruthlessness of the demon who knew little bounds. Despite the encumbrance of any kind, he was on the move once more only this time he traveled with such speed that the lass couldn't even hope to follow. His movement was so terrifyingly quick that even her scouter was helpless to track him down. An assault was imminent, that much was certain but wherefrom, was unknown. The Insect Queen's options were few but she reached into her sleeve the moment she lost sight of the man anyway. Her best hope was that perhaps she might find just the right toy to deal with this horrendous turn of events lest she be maimed once more. The dice had been cast in Entoma's favor and she pulled out a praying mantis from the remnants of her clothes. Its bladed limbs were stacked together and extended out like a short sword in which she focused her thoughts to create a makeshift sanctuary around her frail exterior. The veil was under siege before naught and pulsated with rippled fluctuations from the impact of shrapnel that would have otherwise messed up the child's once beautiful complexion. Surely only a demon could be so crass as to try and harm a cute little girl's face as he did. "You bastard," Zeta shouted while she struggled against her wounds to roll back a few paces up to her feet. A murky haze then exploded out from Entoma's pores as she let out a fierce howl that caused the ground to rumble and crack in circular sections that extended out from her position until they finally shatter into dust in the wind. She was then clad in a swathe of darkness that wrapped tightly around her lithe body as she bathed in a massive stream of energy that penetrated the very skies. Clouds soon rolled in overhead that rained down inky droplets that littered the ground in the smog-filled area. Woeful entities emerged one after another from the stygian puddles with sorrowful cries as they lingered about around the blackened pillar. Then everything vanished in a sudden but fragmented burst when the Queen had finally tapped into her latent potential. Her wails had started to wane as she reaffirmed her fiendish gaze on the demon and stared at him keenly. "I'm going to enjoy eating you..."

Jumping on Vash Entoma’s side A Saviour to Little Girls
High above the planet known as Maverick, Recoome waited. He stood at an open doorway of a heavily cloaked ship, floating just within the atmosphere, watching everything unfolding below him.
In the distance, the confrontation that he had come here to watch was drawing to a close. Son Goku, an ally of the Cosmic Empire, had been engaged by two powers that for some reason assumed they could cause him harm - oh, how mistaken they were. Dabura, the very demon he had fought mere weeks before, had appeared to fend off the attackers.
And then, Azazel had appeared.
Not Azazel… Samael…
After that, the fight didn’t last long. The two would-be assailants seemed to roll over and die without any kind of resistance - but who could truly put up a resistance to the Cosmic Empire. With a snort, Recoome turned away from the battle, his eyes drawn instead to a disturbance that permeated his senses, the hairs on his neck standing on end.
It was outside of his field of vision, but Recoome didn’t need to be close to sense what was happening. From what he could tell, there was another battle ongoing - this one between a being who had a power greater even than Recoome’s, and… A little girl?
A growl escaped his lips as he waved his arm, commanding the ship to move to that position. He ground his teeth as they sped across the sky, completely invisible to anybody who would happen to be looking for them.
He arrived above the battle within a few minutes, and his eyes narrowed further. His senses had been correct, but there was also a huge dome around the fighting pair, seemingly erected by a drone that flew a few feet above it. Obviously whoever this fighter was, he didn’t want any company - which would certainly make it easier for him to murder the small, innocent child he had locked in with him.
Recoome’s hand rose to his scouter and he clicked it, the screen over his eyes flashing as it displayed information about just who this miscreant might be.
Name: Vash. Known Affiliates: Shadowguard. Level of Risk: Minimal. Skills of note: none.
Recoome snorted before scrolling down to see who else this warrior was connected to, and couldn’t help but grin. He had connections to the two fighters nearby, who had so tragically perished - obviously this creature had decided to take out his loss on the sweet girl below rather than trying to aid them.
Turning to one of the black cloaked individuals next to him, Recoome nodded. The man nodded back, moving further into the ship. Recoome turned back to the dome, raising his fingers to his forehead.
He disappeared from where he stood, reappearing just inside the top of the dome. Gravity pulled him downwards at an alarming pace, and he hit the ground on one knee, his head bowed. The ground beneath him buckled, sending cracks in all directions as dust burst into the air around him.
After a few seconds, he rose to his feet. His head moved up last, locking eyes with the one known as Vash.
”Play Recoome’s music!”
From above, speakers from the ship blared into life. Music filled the dome, amplifying and vibrating through every molecule of air within the container. Recoome rose one of his arms and pointed a finger at Vash, a wide grin plastered on his huge face.
”Vash! You come to this planet to help your allies, but Recoome’s got news for ya - and it ain’t no picnic! While you’ve been busy going toe to toe with a girl no higher than Recoome’s knee, those counting on you have fallen faster than a leaf from a tree. And now your actions have driven you to Recoome, and Recoome intends for you to have a life-ending reunion with those you failed to protect!”
He glanced over at the girl next, his hard face softening as he did so. This little girl was more than met the eyes, that much was for certain. But he wasn’t truly there for her sake anyway - the thrill of the battle was more important to him now.
With a soft grunt and a clench of his fists, his aura burst out around him. The crater beneath him, his landing zone, vibrated as power flooded the cracks in the ground.
A second later, he leapt into action.
He pirouetted on the spot, his hands outstretched, and fed ki along his arms down to his palms. As the ki arrived it burst outwards into twin identical discs, humming with latent energy. ”Recoome Disc!” he roared, stopping his spin and launching both of the discs directly at this girl-assaulting male. As soon as they left his hands he lowered himself into a half-crouch, tensing his tree trunk like legs as he watched the discs close in on his opponent. The crater below him deepened further as his huge legs pushed downwards, forcing the behemoth towards Vash with a burning intensity. His aura flared around him twice as strong as he flew, his head lowered and his arms by his side.
”Recoome Headbutt!”
He landed nimbly after the attack, barely disturbing the ground as he did so. His positioning seemed random at first, but then Recoome grinned - the sun, as he had expected, was now directly behind him. ”Recoome Flare!” he said, barely holding in his pure joy at the situation. He threw his hands up to the side of his head, fingers splayed as light focused from behind him and burst right towards Vash’s face.
With the light still burning through the small dome, Recoome rose to his full height. His hands extended outwards from his body once more, orbs of ki now growing in his frying pan sized palms. Veins bulged on his biceps as he fed more and more energy into them, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. A groan began to escape Recoome’s lips as the energy drained from his body and pushed into the orbs, but still he didn’t stop feeding his attack.
And then, he leapt forwards.
With murderous intent he shoved both of the orbs forwards from almost point-blank range, intending to make the most of the freshly- blinded Vash’s situation. When he was a mere inch away he released the power he held, letting the orbs hurtle towards Recoome’s opponent. "Recoome Big Bang Attack!"
He landed back near his landing zone, panting and visibly sweating. His hand rose to wipe a bead of sweat from his brow, and then lifted it into the air. The music that had been echoing around the arena dialled down in volume until it wasn’t audible anymore.
”Let Recoome tell ya somethin’ little man, this is just the first course of a banquetted smackdown unlike any the galaxy has ever seen! You stand there in your ivory tower, but you ain’t nothing but a coward to Recoome! Maybe you can hold your own against a girl half your size, maybe you thought you would come out of this confrontation with another notch in your belt, maybe you think yourself to be the biggest man in town, but that doesn’t mean a thing to this man! Because the name’s Recoome!”
His face grew serious, teeth clenched and gazing directly at Vash.
”And it rhymes, with doom!”
He threw his fists into the air, muscles bulging along his bicep and threatening to break through his armour.
”And you’re gonna be hurting!”
He clapped his hands together above his head, the sound reverberating around the dome.
”All!”
He brought his arms down, one across his chest and the other out to the side, muscles still bulging.
”Too!”
For his last maneuver he pulled out the greatest move in his arsenal, twisting so he was side-on to Vash and bending at the waist at a 90 degree angle, balanced on one leg and extending his other out behind him.
”Soon!”
He straightened up slowly, wiping away another bead of sweat that had formed on his head. If this wasn’t enough to scare Vash, he didn’t know what would be.

Maverick must have been the place to be this week. It was strange for a backwater shithole where visitors were scarce. Everyone and their mother seemed to be hanging around these days. One such tourist even found their way to where Entoma was now. Her hunt was going quite well until the godly interloper's stuck their noses in and now some giant of a man showed up at the scene personally. He was a bit flakey but Zeta wasn't one to judge. She ate people and collected bugs for a hobby after all. This guy was built like a tank too, so it wasn't likely in her best interest to be poking fun at him anyway.
Fortunately, it didn't seem like he was there for her. It appeared these two had some unsettled business between them. This conjecture became evident after she witnessed the way he laid into the demon as if he was some kind of back street bimbo from London in the late 1800s. By the time the big guy was finished, Entoma's prey was left crumpled up on the ground lying in a mixture of leaves, cattle remains, and dirt. It was quite a sight behold. This guy calling himself Recoome was quite impressive. He clearly knew how to put the beats to a bitch, a true professional. Zeta thought she might even learn something from all this and so she took a seat against a tree and watched.

Alright, well the typical ref break down really does not apply here.
Vash had taken from what I counted 10 attacks ranging from 6 to 6.5 with a 8.5 mixed in. Considering his PL and Toughness along with his Damage reduction he sat at 77% dmg. Vash managed a sensu bean at a slight reduction in usefulness from the totality of the onslaught which brought him down to 47% dmg. Had he not been 24’ed and forced to take two DR 6.5‘S a DR 7 and a DR 10 directly to the dome this fight would of been ongoing I am sure. With that being said, Vash is KO and at the mercy of his foes.
Adding this in here per a conversation with AZ: Flow Interruption ONLY works against the Action Block or Dodge. It doesn't work against defenses that might mention such terms in the description like Kiai or Deflect. Also it certainly doesn't work against techs or items that don't mention block at all. Second, losing an action for handicap still counts towards your 7 action limit.

The End
And so, faster than it had begun, it was over.
The so-called man who had been attacking the girl fell to his knees, his life leaking out of him as if he were a leaky faucet. The deep green grass drank deeply of his lifeblood, gorging itself on his last act.
With a small sigh Recoome stepped forwards. His aura vanished, absorbed back within his body and taking its almighty power with it. He crouched in front of the man who had been known as Vash, looking him directly in the eye.
”Now you know that Recoome means business.”
He straightened up slowly, looking over towards the girl he had come here to save. She was sitting against a nearby tree, the picture of innocence - but Recoome knew better now. This one was no little girl.
With a grunt, he turned back to the almost dead warrior who thought that he stood a chance. He picked up one of the blades that Vash had brought to the battle, testing its weight as he considered his options.
”Now, you have made Recoome do something he does not like. Blades are not a weapon that Recoome enjoys using, Recoome much prefers his fists - but, there is indeed a tool for every situation.”
He placed his foot on Vash’s chest, pushing gently and sending him sprawling onto his back. Blood welled in Vash’s mouth as he hit the ground, visibly escaping at the corners. Recoome walked around until he was next to the man’s head, the blade placed precariously upon his neck.
”Now once more in case you forgot…” Recoome said, tensing his arm and allowing the blade to taste the exposed flesh of Vash’s neck. ”The name’s Recoome.”
His words weren’t loud declarations - this time they were almost whispers, as if he were caressing a lover. He pushed the blade into Vash’s neck, severing his windpipe and passing cleanly through half of his neck.
”And it rhymes, with tomb.”
With a grunt of effort he pushed the blade clean through Vash’s neck, the tip of the blade embedding itself in the ground beneath.
”So maybe, in the future.”
He yanked the sword outwards, allowing Vash’s head to roll backwards, inches away from his body. With a distasteful look he flung the sword away, and it clanged loudly as it hit the floor. His huge hand came down and picked up Vash’s head, blood dripping onto his white gloves and flowing down his arm.
”You’ll sing to a different tune.”
His last words were so quiet that even the little girl nearby would struggle to hear. But no doubt, wherever the soul of Vash had fled to, he would know the words that had been said at his grave.
Recoome let out a bark of laughter, breaking the silence that had settled over the small clearing. He rose to his feet and looked over at the girl with a grin. ”Now little girl, Recoome thinks it is time for us to leave. This will make a fine addition to the Empire’s collection,” he said, brandishing the head of Vash.
His laughter echoed through the clearing for a few seconds, before vanishing completely. The only sign that the huge man had been there was the headless body he left in his wake, and the almost unbelievably large footprints that peppered the ground.
Victory, especially one that has taken to so long to materialise, is sweet.
