“I could take you back to Kelioux if you wanted,” Yan said with an air of flirt as well as brag. Anna had explained a little of Wriggle’s situation, mostly due to needing to admit her crimes to someone. It was an arrangement but Yan reminded Anna of her lack of friends, and even if Wriggle saw her as a superior it was better than her normal loner status, so long as she didn’t abuse it.
Just like Anna could easily erase her, Yan could easily keep her out of the eyesight of someone out to get her. It might cause a little chaos, but that was the fun of it wasn’t it?
“Narka parmesan,” Yan answered, listing an Avalonian bird that was very similar to Earth’s chicken. “Gotta make something that’s easy to reheat.”

"No thank you," she said with her eyes simmering down and her head falling toward the counter to rest it on. "I don't like that place, I am rather excited not to be allowed there. I wouldn't go back there to save my life."
At the mention of it for such an extended period of time, she placed her hand onto the choker upon her neck, which was always on her. "They did things that I am angry about."
He spoke about her what had gotten. She didn't even know what it was. "I see. Sounds yummy."

"We could go back and blow them up a bit," Yan gave as a counter offer, smiling gently as he did as if understanding the burdens of such things. It didn't mean you were angry all the time over injustice, but it could leave a very sour taste in your mouth. His offer seemed genuine though, a contrast difference than Anna's more peaceful alternatives.
"But sometimes it is better to just let go, and move on...at least until the right moment for revenge strikes on its own."
Aria/Anna/BarkleyToday at 4:38 PM
"....well I most certainly like you," she said looking back up to him. She could feel the genuine of his offer. She wouldn't have mind the blowing up portion at all. Matter of fact, she was probably a sliver of a second away with agreeing with him. All she needed was for him to remove her muting device and she would be set.
But then, she thought more on it. "But, you are right this isn't the right moment to strike for revenge. But when I do, I am certainly coming to you over Anna. She would just talk me out of it." She rolled her eyes a bit.
"So she never tells me about your job. She keeps a lot about you nice and secret. I am interested. What do you do?"

Yan gave the nightbug a closed eyed smile, pausing in his meal prep as if prepared to drop it, stick everything in the fridge and have a day of it. When she agreed instead of it not being the right moment, he nodded and began preparing the sauce.
“Anna cannot stop herself from feeling guilty after she acts out, so she assumes everyone else will too unless they prove they won’t. It’s her way of protecting you,” he explained with ease. He knew Anna might be cross with Wriggle for acting out, but she wouldn’t hate her for it and if Wriggle’s reasons were probably explained she would more likely sigh in acceptance. She was not against what some deemed as evil, she just couldn’t do such actions herself, and didn’t want anyone to fall unprepared into the darkness she knew so well. Yan didn’t think that would be a problem for Wriggle, though if he was wrong, such things were always good learning experiences.
“Which one?” he countered, flashing her a smile before looking back down to his work. “At the end of the day I am best defined as a mercenary. I find and take whatever jobs interest me where my skill can be applicable.”
Aria/Anna/BarkleyToday at 4:53 PM
"Ooooh, maybe that explains the secrecy! Sounds like you work for a secret government. Anytime I ask she never goes into detail about it. Like she is afraid to let out your secrets! I'm a bit scared to find out actually.
"Now that I have told you, you must die!" She said the last part mockingly like a deeper male voice that was no where near Yan's vocals. She then chuckled. "But that is kind of cool. I used to be part of-- ugh. They wiped my memory clean. I remember up to the point where I try to remember."
She was talking about her days in the PTO. They wiped her mind clean before selling her off.

“She’s just dramatic,” Yan countered, though as he said it there was an affectionate smile meant for his wife’s silliness. He laughed at her impression though, hiding it behind his hand before an easy smile was left in its place. When she went on to explain however, he looked back to her with a little more interest.
“I’d probably be a bit scared too in that circumstance,” he told her. He highly disliked his mind being tamered with, and believed his experiences helped carve out who he was. A whole chuck of time being removed would leave him unsettled. The idea of it happening again would leave him paranoid.
“But don’t worry, I only talk about things that would get me killed,” he explained with another easy grin. If a secret came out of Yan, the people he told wouldn’t be at risk, because he never told just one person when he thought it’d be leaked. At that point it became damage control and offing him. He was always good at making sure that worked out the right way.
“Would you want them back?” he asked turning again.

"Oh, you got connects for that?" She pulled her head up and with intrigued about her features. "Because if you do, then I will gladly take them back. There are things I need to remember. I have fighting styles and espionage techniques that I am just too lazy to try and re-learn."
