Walid Avatar of War Android - R Drunken Droid

Over the course of the passed couple of day, the Zaunite had participated in a round of pranks with a man. It'd even gotten as far as him including an ally to it so that they too could have some fun with it. Eventually a decision was made, one that indicated that things had gone far enough. At first he found it suspicious when he found a letter taped to the hatch to his spacecraft.
Who in their right mind would open it after declaring war in the form of mischief? That's when he took out his axe and sliced the letter open. In hindsight it probably wasn't the smartest decision since it could have contained a bomb, but he didn't care. He then noticed a piece of paper that he'd sliced in half in the process.
He was able to read it still and noticed that there were words on it. It was... a challenge? The Crimson Typhoon wanted to settle the end of their game with his accomplice. He half wanted to go alone, but he practically already dragged the robotic raccoon in their shenanigans. He then folded the piece of paper and handed it to his comrade.
"Take a look at this pal," he said, "Looks like it's time to end this."

Taking part in his ally's prank war with a demon had been something of a risky proposition, but even the ever-meddling Nephilim inside him enjoyed it. Perhaps he liked attacking evil vicariously through the actions of the diminutive android and his paladin friend. On his part, Android R was a chaotic beast and enjoyed nothing more than causing trouble.
He was walking with Walid back to the latter's ship when the pink-haired paladin stopped in his tracks. Taped to the hatch of the spacecraft was a letter. Android R wondered briefly if it was some sort of explosive surprise. The pranks had escalated as late and so it wouldn't have surprised him. Walid too seemed to have the same thought as he sliced it with his axe. R wasn't sure if that would have helped defuse an explosive but nothing went off so it must have worked. The Avatar of War read two halves of a letter before handing it to R.
He scanned it quickly, ascertaining that it was an invitation to a fight. Excellent. Android R liked to fight and his brawl with Yan had only served to awaken that desire further.
"Excellent. And it looks like he'll have company. One each?"
Jax08/06/2020
It had to be a fight, the letter itself didn't specifically say that, but what else could the blonde-haired demon mean? Even if it wasn't a brawl, the Avatar of War would have made sure to make it one. He was itching to go around and pound someone's face in a good ole fashion fight. He crackled his knuckles at the thought as he rested his weapon onto his back and then turned to his comrade.
"Can you fight?" he asked, genuinely unsure what the answer would be.
If they were going to go into combat then it was probably a good idea to know that question. They did have some time so there was plenty of time to prepare, get whatever was needed and get a good spar in. That's not all that the Zaunite wanted to do. For him to call someone their comrade, he at least needed to get to know them better.
"Do you wanna pick up some things from the store to get ready for this, or just test your luck," he said and then grinned, "You could get your dream of coming back as a Tiger."

Android R was posed a valid question by the Avatar of War. In their very first encounter, he had bitten himself and then shoved Walid's tooth back into his face. It hadn't been any sort of indictment into either of their battle prowess. With a moniker like the Avatar of War, Walid had to be either very good at fighting them, starting them or watching them. Android R had seen his ability to fight a prank war, now he would get to experience his ability to fight an actual one.
"Fairly?" he asked, raising an eyebrow, "absolutely not. But I can kick, bite and scratch with the best of them. Oh and there's also this."
From the pocket dimension on his back, Android R pulled his quadblaster. It was a massive weapon whose length was roughly equivalent to his height.
"If scratching, biting and kicking doesn't work, then I usually just shoot them in the face."

The Avatar of War nodded in response, his tactics did make sense. It was how animals attacked. Would it be enough though? They didn't know who they were messing with. He really wished he'd known before getting the demon riled up, but that's just how he was. He didn't care about planning his next move at all. Thankfully, that didn't appear to be the only useful thing Rocket was good for.
His eyes widened as he watched as R pulled out a massive gun from what looked to be out of thin air. That could definitely work if scratching and biting didn't help. There was, however, only one question to be asked. Was he a good shot with it? Maybe he was going to regret it, but the Zaunite tossed his jacket onto the ground.
"Alright," he said as he stretched his arms and legs, "I have an idea. I'm going to fly around and let's see if you can shoot me down."
The pink-haired warrior then shot into the air and hovered around causally, just to get a warm up started. He would then pick up his speed little by little to gauge just how fast or slow he needed to go.

Upon seeing the weapon, Walid shucked his jacket and threw it on the ground. As it impacted with the earthen surface, Android R shot it. In response to what would undoubtedly be a protest against the murder of his clothing, Android R just shrugged and said, "it moved."
Aftermarket modification of this particular weapon was something of a hobby for Android R and he had settled upon four main end states. The first was a plasma-based projectile that would burn through anything the target was wearing. With a delighted grin, the chaotic woodland critter selected that setting and looked up where Walid was hovering. On the top of the weapon was a simple holographic battle sight. For another creature to use this weapon would be difficult without a second point of reference, but R had the end of his nose as well as the two-layer optic sensors in his actual head that resulted from having an eyeball in front of another sensor.
He peered down the sights and took not of the wind direction and strength. The humidity and gravity of the earth wouldn't play a part in the flight of this particular shot at this range. His movement was somewhat random, but the speed only necessitated a single point of aim offset so all he had to do was wait for the zaunite to reverse his direction. As he did so, Android R made the appropriate adjustment and squeezed the trigger.

He could see that his little challenge excited his comrade and that only meant that things would be fun. Or at least he thought that it would. He had no idea what kind of weapon the robotic raccoon was doing, nor did he know how dangerous it could be. For all that he knew, it could melt his skin and reduce him to absolutely nothing. That, however, didn't bother him. it in fact excited him more.
Or that was until the gun was fired and shot out a plasma-like blast towards the Zaunite. He thought about punching it away for fun, but then thought back to what he originally thought. What if it was dangerous to human skin? He simply sped up and then reached for something in his pocket. He then pulled out a handkerchief.
"Let's see how it does against this," he said and then tossed it at the blast.
It had completely reduced it to absolutely nothing. It was clear to him at that moment, he couldn't risk letting it hit him. Sure he could heal, but he didn't want to get hurt on purpose. The pink-haired warrior's speed increased until it was half of what he was capable of. Flying around in the formation of a figure 8 like an annoying gnat.

The Avatar of War was clearly demonstrating his superior abilities now, as he moved quickly enough to have a chance to throw a piece of cloth at the plasma before he had to deal with it himself. When the cloth was annihilated by the plasma without any sort of interruption, Android R was delighted to see a shift in the alien's face. Walid zipped away from the plasma at this point and started doing zoomies in mid-air.
The slower pace of the plasma wouldn't be suited to this situation. Instead, Android R switched to the energy particle mode. In this mode, the weapon would fire a simple energy bolt that would arrive much quicker. The aiming was much more complicated too. There were a couple of methods for such a moving target. There was the ambush method, where he lined up with a certain point and waited for Walid to reach the aiming point, or the sweeping method, where he followed the progress of his target and moved his weapon's aiming point sufficiently far away that by the time it reached that point, Walid would be there.
Android R used the latter method in this instance. He swung the barrel in a figure 8 motion, mimicking the movements of his target and gradually moving the aiming point ahead of the avatar's progress. When he was comfortable with his predicted path, Android R squeezed the trigger once more.

He waited to see how his comrade would fair against his aerial acrobatics and noticed that they messed around with his weapon. He immediately scratched his head, unsure what his tactic was. Still, he didn't let it falter as he kept moving around and around. As he went, his eyes picked up that R was doing the very same with his loaded gun. The Zaunite was never a bright one, so he didn't know what the robotic raccoon's goal was.
The trigger was then pulled and he watched as the bullet was heading straight for where he would go next. It also had an increased speed, making it almost impossible for him to put the brakes on his flight. It was then that he knew that a choice had to be made, either allow it to harm his arm, or he could think of a way to avoid that.
"I ain't no bitch," he said as he grabbed his axe out and turned to face the impending doom.
The Avatar of War then grabbed his newly acquired guitar out. It was a long shot, the thought, but he decided to try for it anyways strummed it as hard as he could once to send a soundwave of energy to slow the blast down. He then cracked it up to the highest volume and strummed once more, unleashing a much more powerful one.
It not only knocked the bullet off course, but also ripped the ground to shreds a little. He huffed a little because that was a little too close for comfort. Maybe he would have been fine, but he also wanted to test something out.
"I'm really loving this thing," he said and then kept strumming it, causing more and more ki shockwaves to plague the land.
