Alice hadn't made a lot in her new apartment lately. It wasn't large, maybe it'd fit three to four in her living room alright, since she didn't use any kind of television. Just a couch and a chair that she often slumped in when she needed to think. She used to make food for her bunkmates in the barracks, but she had made some real progress in that front. She'd made one of Damaskia's meat specialties, though with it she had a salad with a light dressing and some Earth-styled French baguette made. The baguette was, though, made the other day. The salad was fresher, bought earlier that day.
For drink, she had two glasses of water and a bottle of wine that Daji had made, and that she had stored away from their last visit. It was simple, something she had requested be so, though she had the good stuff tucked away elsewhere. For herself, though, she had decided only the water.

Freshly bathed and with a pit stop or two made, Yan landed at Hayami’s door in relatively good time. Without blood and torn clothes he looked much more presentable though his hair kept its messy style he most likely did on purpose as it looked well enough on him. He was semi-casual, with a fitted tee and sports coat over khakis, and that was about the best one could manage from him unless it was for a training exercise. And he was done with that for now. He stretched out his still sore muscles, before giving the door a light knock in a short melody.

The Celestial had everything out and done, before she turned her heads towards the door. She unlocked it with her mind as she wiped her hands with a towel before she came over and opened the door. "Welcome in, Yan," she said with a smile. She wore some casual clothing, though no skirt. She worr her own tee shirt with a dark grey blazer, baggy jeans, ankle high socks with her shoes on a may by the door. Her long hair had been pulled back into a ponytail.
She allowed him in and closed the door. Her apartment was still only lightly made up. No pictures on the walls, mostly just the chairs and tables that could be seen. "Sorry its a bit bare. I don't exactly know how Damaskians decorate their apartments yet," she admitted. She'd been pretty busy lately. "Ready to eat?"

Yan flashed her a closed eyed smile when she opened the door and followed her in only for his expression to immediately sadden.
“Oh dear, oh dear,” he let out almost anxiously as he wandered in looking over the place. Yan’s places were always well decorated, even the ever changing front rooms of Juturna and the suites of the Dancing Spider had been personalized and rearranged by him. It was a hobby, and thus he was almost hurt to see this place.
“Let me fix this,” he said, still not looking to her as he scanned the room almost in mourning. It wasn’t a bad apartment either. It had good lighting and space, it just needed...depth.
“Let me draw something up,” he said, looking back to her.

Ever the workaholic, she supposed. Yan's critcal eye for this sort of thing was a new side to him that she had not exactly understood. She sort of had her own place on Grace, but every planet and even regions on that planet had their way of decorations. She wondered how he might do it, and she let out a soft, low sigh, but smiled when he looked back at her.
"You can draw something up after we've eaten," she said, and even gave him a tut-tut finger wag. She motioned to the chairs, which weren't really bland. Well, maybe they were for Damaskia? At the very least, she had gotten them second hand and had a carpenter fix up any rough edges. "Do you think the table and chairs are too much like Earth's?" She asked only because she wasn't sure. She hadn't made any friends here that had shown the Celestial their own living spaces.

“I can do both, can’t I?” Yan asked but followed her to sit, opening his jacket to pull a sketchbook from his dimensional pocket. “They’re nice, something to build around,” he offered but didn’t immediately open the book lest she argue he could not sketch and eat. He was supposed to be company too.

Alice wanted to karate chop him on the head, but since he'd offered her this free service, she wasn't about to complain. Well, was it free? Whatever this was, she decided against an argument over it. "Alright, but only if you eat everything you put on your plate," she compromised. She seated herself and waited to see how much Yan'd take first. He was, after all, the guest here.

Yan grinned at her answer, and patted his hands together with a nod of his head before he began reaching. He took small portions of each thing she made, taking more if egged on with any type of stare.
“It smells good~” he said cheerfully, taking a sip of the wine first before finding an open page. He flipped past drawings of Bulma and Anna, and even a girl she would not recognize that looked a bit like the Saiyan before he reached it.
