Okay so I posted this on Discord but may as well put it here too.
It would be great to see current NPCs (people like King Vegeta, Lord Frost, Guru etc.) being RP'd in a way that can directly affect site canon. We all have our different ways to RP NPCs (and they probably all have different personalities, mannerisms) so it would be good to get some consistency in there.
Now I'm not talking about having NPCs RP'd by people in every Easy Quest - I'm talking more final level promotions, Epic Quests, even Master Trials. RP Guides and Mods taking over the character to RP with you, and allowing you to get your character truly into the canon.
Obviously RP Guides and Mods have lives (apparently?) so it wouldn't be a requirement - but you could ask them if they are available to RP with you, either after the end of a quest or at the beginning, to allow you to really get into it.

But then what happens when somebody joins as that Canon? You would lose all your interaction with them - which is the entire point you're trying to make, that you want interactions with dead canons. By that logic, Mods and RP Guides could be RPing every untaken character until somebody takes them. If you're Gohan and there is no Goku, would a Mod NPC Goku for you? What is the definition of "dead canon"?

Marron, Olibu, Puar, Oolong, Launch, Spopovich, Yamu, Valese, Kakao, Daizu, Dore, Torbie, Vinegar, Panboukin, 15 (I should be him lowkey), and etc. There have been canons that literally no one has ever been, and we've had one-offs on most of the canons I've named, or for a gag character. But my point is that it's been years and years since anyone even touched them and it doesn't look like it's going to change anytime soon.

But why do you wanna RP with them? They're all minor characters who dont't really add much to anything...
But I guess if they were important to your story (lol) maybe they could be included as long as the person (you) knows that as soon as someone comes along and wants them, you lose out on that interaction.

One of the things I started (and will be rebooting soon) will be the residents of [planet] to give names and some backstory to commonly used character - currently playable canons will not be added on the list unless they are moved to NPC status.
If you're interested in having a site NPC in one of your RP's and want to have someone else play them, send me a message and I will find a RP guide or do it myself. Just as we would want to encourage that kind of RPing we also don't want to limit people who want to RP it themselves.

I think some of it is interaction that becomes canon too - gdtting your character intertwined into the life of NPCs in a way more than just "oh yeah, me and 500 other guys did the same quest so we pals now"

I've always been worried when we have people do even like the trial quests how NPC's like site masters get played. I think it would be cool if we had some place where we had them listed and had a general personality/demeanor thing for them to exist within for others to RP them in that same way.
Would it make sense for King Vegeta to be a prick to everyone, but then my character shows up and now he suddenly is super nice, friendly and helpful? My answer to that is no. That is why I would like an idea where we have a general personality makeup for them.

Maybe make a template Character Vault for NPCs, like big one's, then have RP Guides fill out them out and have them under NPC folder in vaults.
