Who would have thought that someone would dare try to usurp Sunagakure’s power over the Dust country after all the fighting and conquesting they had done? Hinata would have thought that people would have respected their power but apparently sending a bunch of youngsters in and taking over didn’t really send a clear message that Sunagakure wasn’t to be messed with. So some rascals abroad had decided to take advantage of the low levels of defense in the Dust country and planned on taking over. It made sense from a tactical standpoint. Sunagakure had sent forces to not only Dust but also Sugon and now there was word that they were sending a bunch of shinobi to Rain as well. So now seemed like a good time to strike. And so the invasion force set out to take control. They hit hard and they hit fast, quickly tearing their way through the country only to arrive just in time for defenses to finally get gathered up and ready to go. Morale was low. What kind of Dust soldier wanted to follow Suna’s orders? Some even welcomed the conquest just to stick it to the man. This would be a turning point in Suna’s hold over the region.

Hinata arrived during a respite from the relentless attacks that had occurred over the past few days or so. She met with a group of dust soldiers and was currently waiting for other suna forces to show up. She had some low level soldiers at her disposal but what she really needed were shinobi. Those were in short supply what with people dealing with the destruction along with those who had just fled due to the perceived power shift. It looked like they had at least gathered enough intel to find out how many enemies there were. They were about twenty shinobi in number and they had their own non-shinobi soldiers. Most of them looked like low level threats to Hinata except for maybe the leader who was probably even more powerful than she was. She had managed to scrape by when facing those kinds of people before so she wasn’t all too worried… but you never knew when your luck was going to be pushed too far. She frowned at the maps that they were presenting to her. The enemy was attacking from one direction but they’d sent people up ahead so there were small attacks happening pretty much everywhere within the city.

history/bio:

Hinata was born free but her parents had many money problems. They often sent her off to do servant work for up to months or years at a time just to get money to get by. This was where she learned how to keep her head down and do what she was told or else she and her family would be ruined. Her determination to escape this life grew through her teenage years until she managed to develop her skills in order to get hired as a personal assitant that made a lot more than a servant did.

Becoming an assistant was liberating for her, even if she was more or less working for a crime boss that controlled her every encounter. It gave her the means to save more money to try improving her life. It also gave her a lot of free down time which she used to meet new people and finally make some genuine friends.

Out of all the people she had served in the past, the ones she admired the most were those that used ki. She loved the mystery surrounding their arts and always wanted to become one herself. That is why she took her spare money and invested in learning as much about the different combat styles as she could. She then went to sensei after sensei, begging to be taken in as an apprentice and initiated. It took her many months but she finally found a man who was willing to give her a chance. He was an evil man who tinkered with machines all day and unbeknownst to Hinata, he dabbled in the art of cybernetics.

After half a year of working for free in her downtime for this sensei she was finally deemed a suitable apprentice and was initiated into being a student. She survived, barely, by being saved by her raw determination that finally came to her aid. She considers herself forever in debt to the teacher. He has had her do many favors for him and he intends to get the most profit out of her as he can while taking advantage of her subservient nature. Just when she was the most vulnerable Hinata's conciousness was downloaded into an android and thus she was truly born. She kept her personality for the most part and was devastated to learn what she had become. Nowadays she wanders the world, hoping to find meaning in her new life as an android all while evading the clutches of her once sensei.
