Character Bio: In her native universe Chi-Chi follows pretty much the same path as mainstream Chi-Chi being born to the Ox-King on Fire Mountain- her great strength for a human girl apparent from an early age. Along the path of the original Dragonball she had similar adventures meeting Goku as a child and then challenging him at the Budokaki Tournament when they were teenagers. The difference is that she gave him a proper fight before losing and developed an intense rivalry. It was similar to a Tien/Goku or Vegeta/Goku rivalry but with less animosity and more tension. They fought often and Chi-Chi kept up with her training which interested Goku. At the next tournament Chi-Chi actually won and they were married soon after. They currently have a one-year old baby Gohan. Goku surpassed her again while she was pregnant but she never let the power gap grow very large and vowed never to be merely a housewife or mother but also a three-dimensional character and Z-Fighter.

Chi-Chi was wearing a red karate gi but found herself, for lack of options, training at a regular gym. She was a little worked up because that Goku had trounced her for the third time in a row in their last few sparring matches so it had her concerned for the next tournament. Not to mention his friends who kept getting stronger. As she continued to ponder on it she pulled the two paddles of the gym machine harder and harder growing angry. Unbeknownst to her it was too much for the machine and the two paddles snapped off causing the weights to fall and startle several regular gym members.
Desperate for a decent place to train she moved on to the punching bag but one punch sent it flying off it’s chain and put a dent in the wall. Chi-Chi tried to laugh it off but that was the final straw and the gym revoked her membership. The daughter of the Ox-King thought it was probably the lack of a decent training spot that put Goku and Tien ahead of her last time. And they weren’t sharing. She really needed to learn how to fly. If only she could have some alone time with Goku, he was her husband after all, but he was so focused on the next tournament again and she knew the only cure was to beat him into the dirt. Well she certainly wasn’t hopeless enough to try going to that pervert Master Roshi for training as helpful as that may be. At least not yet anyway.
With little choice now Chi-Chi returned home where her father the Ox-King was waiting. “Did you have a good training session sweetie?” Asked the babysitter Ox-King as he rocked his daughter’s child to sleep.
“Not really dad. How’s my little Gohan?” She replied, quickly switching to cooing at her baby.
“He’s already had his bottle and I was about to put him down for a nap. You know it was always hard for me to find somewhere to train. People always screamed and ran. Of course I kinda liked it. Back then anyways. Bwhahaha!”
“Oh good lord, not another story about your glory days, dad.” Chi-Chi replied exasperated. Wait just a minute! With Gohan down for a nap in a bit it meant a full half-an-hour before he would be up which gave her plenty of time. “Dad!” She said a bit too excitedly as the Ox-King returned from putting baby Gohan down. “Fight me! Please?”
“Uhh sweetie I don’t want to hurt you I am pretty large and you are rather tiny.” The Ox-King tried to get out of it but once his daughter set her mind to something it was hard to ignore. Just like her mother.
“You’re definitely not gonna hurt me daddy.” Chi-Chi boosted and then it was on outside in the woods. The Ox-King regretted not dodging thinking he could tank his daughters blow but it just gave her three free punches and left him doubled over wheezing. “Come on dad for real, I’m trying to train.” Chi-Chi said with annoyance with one hand on her hip.
“That.. puh, that was for real. When did you get so fast sweetie?” Ox-King said before returning to the fight. Her father took her more seriously and they traded a few blows. A solid hit knocked Chi-Chi down but she quickly recovered using her prone position to sweep the Ox-King’s legs sending him straight on his ass. But the impact left a crying baby in it’s wake.
“Aww.. coming sweetie! Mommy loves you, Gohan!” Chi-Chi said as she dashed off, only pausing to call back to her father. “I don’t think it’s working, dad, you need to get way stronger!”
“Stronger? I trained with Master Roshi and the old master Gohan, I was a terror of the lands, once considered one of the top ten strongest people in the world! It’s you that getting too strong..” The Ox-King said in amazement, but Chi-Chi wasn’t paying attention already laser-focused on rocking her baby to calm him. Then it was time for flash-cards for her little genius. Gohan was going to be strong of mind and body and not just body like his father. But what a body it was, honestly.
