Cauli exited the library, her thoughts abuzz with possibilities but also mentally drained from the studying that she had been doing. There was only so much dimensional physics that a person could look at without turning her brain inside out. Long hours in the lab had paid off and she believed she was onto a winner this time. The earrings that she had been wearing since she arrived were emitting low levels of trans-dimensional energy and were somehow connected to her physical changes. If she could work out exactly what they did, she could return her dark ki to the gold that it had been before her erasure.
So intent was she in what she was doing that she failed to watch where she was going and bumped right into a passer by.

Ever since she ran into the demon known as Kotarou, the pink-haired woman decided to set her sights on Kelioux. She wanted to study and learn, and was told that would be the best place for her to acquire said knowledge. As she walked around the planet, she couldn't help but notice that it was a different environment than what she was used to. Hardly anyone carried around weapons.
As she was caught in her daze of thinking how nice it was, with her eyes closed, she ran into someone. Her initial reaction was anger. As nice as she wanted to be, parts of her family's rage couldn't be contained sometimes.
"Hey watch where you're going!" she said and then stopped, realizing the person she bumped into looked familiar, "Wait do I know you?'

Cauli heard an instantly familiar voice and smiled. She had enjoyed her time on Ippen with Kari, even if it had meant she got her ass kicked and had to sneak away in shame. She was surprised that the girl didn't immediately recognise her as well... it hadn't been - but of course. She had been a true Saiyan then, not some half-breed that was infected by interdimensional particles that changed her appearance.
"Hi Kari," she said, "its me, Cauli. I had black hair and a tail when we hung out on Ippen."

At first the teen took a closer look at the mysterious person, trying to pinpoint exactly if she did in fact cross paths with them. Her memory was a little fuzzy from her time on Ippen, she didn't remember much other than learning that she really was no match for the enemy. She did, however, remember that someone was there to share the pain with her.
"Ohhhh," she finally remembered, "I remember you now. We tried to show skin to win without a fight but apparently they weren't interested."
That was certainly one way to look at it, Kari didn't really see that as a possible tactic. Maybe she was a little too innocent to realize something like that. Her view has changed a little since then, but she was glad that Cauli was still around. The matter of the tail did make her curious.
"Wait what happened to your tail?" she asked, peering around to look at the woman's backside, "Was it ripped off?"

"That's me," said Cauli with a laugh. Maybe they didn't like girls."
Cauli's tailbone twitched subconsciously. The lack of prehensile tail was the thing that had taken the longest to get used to.
"Not exactly," she said, "it just sort of shrank until it wasn't there anymore. I used to have black hair too."

“Hm,” the pink-haired woman mumbled at the changes the other woman had made before moving her head back up, “Well do you like it at least?”
Something she struggled with herself was constant changes that were happening to her. Some from that were natural and some where from an outside force.
“I know that I wouldn’t be happy if I didn’t have a tail anymore, I could get so much work done with one,” she added.

"I'm not sure, to be honest," Cauli responded, "I've been doing a lot of study rather than training. Maybe you could help with that. Fancy a good fight to blow the cobwebs out?"

"There's nothing wrong with studying, that's what I'm doing as well," she responded, "As for a fight, I'm game. Just a heads up, I'm much stronger than I was before. Both physically and mentally."
