“Eh. I’m down. Though I can’t imagine what I’d learn that I don’t already know,” Eighteen joked arrogantly. The headmaster smiled at her. This woman seriously knew how to look right through you which made Eighteen uneasy as she might even be smart enough to uncover their true identity. Or maybe Eighteen was just being paranoid. The alien woman rummaged through her organized desk.
The siblings waited patiently. They knew how fond this planet’s inhabitants were for paperwork and records. This place was organized enough to make Eighteen sick. Then again, for carbon life, this was efficient for they lacked the built in supercomputers the Androids had as memory.
Eighteen yawned and rolled her eyes. Any year now, she thought. After another minute of rummaging, the headmaster pulled out two forms. “If I could get signatures please…” she smiled as she handed them out. She reached into her desk once more and pulled out two pens. She handed one to each sibling. Android eighteen looked at her brother then looked at the form. Was she ready to spend more time here and would it be a waste? Guess I’ll find out, she thought to herself.
She stopped herself from signing Eighteen by scratching out Ei and writing there instead “Lazuli”
She looked over at her brother who had finished his as well. She then looked up at the headmaster who had walked over to collect their forms. The headmaster looked both over and smiled, “Perfect”.
A moment of silence ensued as she pulled out her computer to plug in the siblings’ information. The silence was then broken by Eighteen. “What now?” Eighteen questioned, tucking her blonde hair behind her ear.
