The black inferno engulfed her and Legion could only stare on behind the shattered fragments of his broken mask. Chips fell away from what parts remained and slowly revealed the eyes of a possessed man. Legion could feel his mind and will bending to that of Hades', yet still he continued to siphon from the being as old as time. Part of him wished the flames would purify her, steal away the thread of life that she so desperately held onto. But it was for naught as she rose from the flames like a phoenix reborn from the ashes. Her eyes peered out from the darkness that shrouded her and a hallow gulp called for her rejuvenation as her aura roared with the breathe of life once more. " Tsk," Legion's tongue clicked against his teeth as his expression soured. How much longer did he have to continue this bout? Was even Hades' power not enough to free her from her petty existence? Legion had put every ounce of his strength into the two techniques and still he seemed to have not harmed the elder. Was this a sign of his weakness or a testament of her durability? Legion could only wallow in his own doubts for the moment while she flaunted her rejuvenative abilities. " Had enough?" Legion taunted with a double voice, one much deeper than his own echoing off in waves behind each word. " No?" He muttered baffled by her wick grin that had broke through her once calm façade. Her hand then slowly wrapped itself around the hilt of her blade now shrouded in void. Fingers dancing in an almost rhymical fashion as they cinched themselves around the hilt for an extra grip. Her arms bend and so did her knees as she steeled herself for her assault. " Perfect," The excitement of Hades could not be suppressed as he masked Legion's free with his own emerging will. Then, she charged, dead ahead like a boar charging after its prey. That's when it happened, for the second time since he had met her, the blue lines. As if telling him tales of the future and events bound to happen. He could see them everywhere, slowly tugging away at his chest, neck, back, and arms. One after the other falling closer to him. His eyes began to rapidly trace the lines, inspecting and observing each one with a hyperawareness he had never experienced before. Was this the power of Hades? Slowly he began to understand, it wasn't the future but understand. It was experience paired with raw skill, it was simply instinct. Hades' instinct to be exact, he was adjusting to the battle, interrupting it as it happened, analyzing every detail of his opponent in order to survive. A predictive ability based of a hyperawareness only awarded by millions of battle or bestowed down upon the gods. Regretfully this meant that Hades had saved Legion's life countless of times before, influencing his actions with the tales of futuristic possibilities. Rather he would have liked to admit it or not, he was indebted to the King of Hell. Fully trusting the demonic lord he threw his body to the side, narrowly escaping the initial lunge of his opponent. Finally he rotated slightly, like a boxer weaving inside the guard of their larger enemy. As his shoulders rolled and his back slanted he could feel the blade kiss the hairs on his neck, feel the blade trimming the hairs that lingered in the position he once was. As he finished the movement he could feel Hades smiling, feel the sly sinister grin that will was filled with joy because Legion finally understood what the "blue lines" were and meant. Manipulating his ki once more he spun the webbing of strings unlike anything he had done before. They thickened and whipped nearly uncontrollably before threatening Halsey and her movements. It was without question that Halsey hated this technique based off her reactions before. But more importantly, Legion found himself relying on the ability to lock her out of the battle and force her to struggle with her plans to overwhelm him. In his own way it was a fighting style only he could pull off. In fact, the ability to lock down his opponents was developed purely to suppress and subdue Hades if it every came down to it. With a twist of his hands the strings suddenly sprung like a fly trap and attempted to reach out for Halsey arms. Then the laughter started. A deep and booming laugh that echoed into his mind. Hades had figured it out, if not known the entire time, Legion's plan to subdue him in the future. With this knowledge Hades would be able to prepare for it- not the ideal situation but that would be for later. With the laughter echoing his hands lifted to his head and his fingers began to dig into his temples in order to relieve the pain. His chuckle began to burn and resonate with Legion's own thoughts driving him deeper into madness and causing him to slap his hands against the ground in his outburst. With a roar filled with pain and agony, spit dripping from his lips as he screamed, he released all his emotions. The ground splintered like wood and fractured like glass before flames began to spew as if they were rising from the depths of hell. Tinged with the faintest hints of blue and white they began to rain down from the heavens after bursting into the sky like a geyser. His arms swayed and wave as he controlled them like a conductor to a masterpiece. Bending to his will the fire soon found itself closing in on the woman. Wasting little time he charged, obsidian spear twirling in his hand after plucking it from the ground once more. Then, with a flourish, he spun once more to gain momentum and strike with the butt of his spear. Spinning once more he then took the hilt firmly in his palms and threw his body into one last swing, extending his slash by holding the end of the hilt like a baseball bat. His fighting style had changed, it was more wild and unrefined and now he had slowly begun to fall to Hades' will. How much longer would he be able to hold on? Combat Rune / Base PL: 74,692

The Rage of a madman, the fury of a god, the imposing power of a demon, Halsey would utilize all these assets, all these strengths to succeed where all her earlier attempts had failed. She let out a mighty roar as she coursed with blinding speed through the air, her feet stomping on the ground with such ferocity each step further scarred the battlefield with cracks. She was almost upon him, surely the red-eyed demon couldn’t keep up with such speed and...she missed...how could she miss, how was this annoying fly still capable of pulling such tricks out of his ass? As she passed him, her eyes seemed to turn in slow motion towards him, gritting her teeth as she was fully aware that this meant she was yet again forced to fall into the flow of battle dictated by this...this...goddamn pest that seemed to toy with her, all despite the fact that theoretically it should’ve been the other way around. Halsey could feel the threads ensnaring her again, tying her hands behind her back as she was practically helpless and bound to the boy’s mercy yet again, she hated it, loathed the man’s sneaky and sly tactics, but couldn’t deny the effectiveness thereof. She felt tired, this battle had been dragging on for so long, with nothing happening in the slightest...but her defenses were practically depleted and her opponent just didn't seem to be off his gale for one bit. It was both annoying and quite frustrating to even try and continue this wild ride of pure frustration and the feeling of getting nowhere no matter how hard she tried. It all made her wonder if trying to get stronger, trying to regain her true power was even worth it if people like this existed, who could completely nullify the use of raw strength and power. While she was still bound Halsey screamed in both pain and anguish when the hot lava poured over her, making her feel the previous burns even more than she already had prior. Her hair was going up in smoke, her skin writhed and felt like it was bubbling, but the torment wasn't over yet, as when she managed to emerge out of the lava, her eyes bloodshot and her skin red and very very raw, she felt the but of the red-eyed demon's spear smash against the side of her skull, before the sound of the spear's sharp tip slashing onto her armor knocked her off her feet and onto the ground. This wasn't how it was supposed to be, she wasn't supposed to end like this, this was NOT how she imagined this fight to go. This wasn't right and she knew it, there was no way someone could just ignore her power, ignore the brunt behind her attacks and continue just turning it all around. No, this was NOT how she envisioned it all to go, but while the passing moment seemed to be an eternity for her, the primeval's mind snapped completely, allowing the unhinged primal nature to emerge from within, if the earlier orb of energy forcing her to her knees had not done that yet, being sent flat on her behind did. With a maniacal, completely insane laugh, the prieval's energy flared up, dozens upon dozens of black strands of energy were send flying at blinding speed towards the brutish red-eyed demon, there were so many of them that they did not look like a spider's web, but almost as if the void between universes itself was attempting to grab a hold onto its prey. As The primeval's energy started to gather into one of her hands, her eyes widened, the corners of her lips turning into a wide, vicious grin as she slowly hunched over and started to shimmer, leaving behind a rather realistic image of herself, as she reappeared up in the air, right above Legion. She said nothing, only continuing to grin and grin her teeth together in utter insanity. As she let go of the energy she was charging, a massive blast of black Ki careened towards the ground with the intent of swallowing her opponent into an awe inspiring show of force. The void called, a somber song gently echoed from the cracks of the planet and the crackle of the lava that still poured down from the sky. It was peaceful in its own way but even the lost wanderer found little joy in the flames that bathed Halsey. Her screams broke through barriers of sounds and scattered the distant wildlife that had gathered at the edges of the field. However, there was something more defeating that Legion noticed. Her will, it seemed to shatter and she had seemed to nearly give in to her 'old' ways. " Like a cornered beast snapping at the hand willing to feed it. You're nothing more than a coward, barking as if you had a bite." Legion said with a face as cold as ever. As began to laugh he could feel the craters and cracks opening up to their new master's will, this time calling forth a void as dark as ever. The rose from the dirt like tendrils of pure hatred, dripping with a ooze akin to oil as the sickening slurping sound as some fell from the main line to the ground. Then, as if the detached ooze had a mind of its own, it began to crawl back to the main body of darkness. Reaching out like a baby to its mother. The darkness was hungry, no it was starving. Sweat continued to roll from the forehead of the wanderer and he felt the icy hands of death's palm rest against his shoulder. Was it time for him to finally lose? The immediate change in her personality was incredibly frightening, even the look in her eyes caused his legs to shiver and lock in place. How did he manage this? How did he manage dictating the battle when she was so powerful? No, how did he let himself even get into a situation like this, he would have never accepted a battle where someone as strong as her fought him. So why did he do it? He actively hunted her when she made herself known, this was her doing, her summons! This mind filled itself with questions as the tendrils began to whip out like venomous snakes. Luckily Hades was not as distracted. His body was suddenly yanked backwards and the first tendril fell against the ground with a gut wrenching thud. The sound of the strange suction only continued as other tendrils flew forward in attempts to bind the warrior like he had done before. For as long as he could he avoided them, dancing through the brief moments of pause as they repositioned themselves. Fire started to roar from his shoulders, licking the darkness and fighting it back, making it crawl against the ground in fear of the light. Soon the once small flames turned into an inferno and while expectancy would led the eye to look for a brilliant orange, only a beautiful blue remained. Hades' was only a single step away from awakening. The blue flames were the first sign of the end drawing near. Legion was slipping into the void of his own prison and Hades was slowly clawing his way to the front. " No, not yet!" He screamed as his nails racked against his own face. " Hahaha! Ahahaha!" A laughter soon followed as a stream of blood from the claw marks on his cheek appeared. His arms lifted and the flames soon found themselves engulfing in his form. Once near liquid like flames soon solidified into a coat of armor. From behind the mask of flames Legion could see and feel the heat of the King of Hell's fire. The brilliant blue and tiny sparks of white within the flame meant that there was little flames as pure and as powerful as his own. A truly frightening though to be surrounded by the very thing that could end his life. Yet, once again, without the ability to adjust to the battle before him, Hades reacted before anything else. His arms lifted in an 'x' and along side the already in place barrier he took the brunt of Halsey's attack. The impact of the blast echoed against the outer shell of the barrier and dampened the, what could only be assumed to be, ear piercing boom of the explosion to a laughable thud. His arms, braced as they were, allowed his body to absorb most of the impact and the combined layer of defenses allow even the weak Legion to take such a mighty blow from the incredible primordial. His eyes lifted and this time there was a different, while once they were etched with runes now one eye seemed to be void of the markings, Hades was coming as Legion had assumed earlier and it would only be a moment before he escaped. Therefore he needed to make his last ditch effort, he needed to use all the power afforded to him against the woman in order to end things before it was too late. His feet moved before his mind could make up a decision and he felt his hands already scooping up the spear's hilt as he simply thrusted it forward with little regard to aim. His attacks were more savage and far less refined now as desperation began to settle in on his mind. Releasing his grip on the spear allowed him to use both of his hands to be the catalyst for two small beads of ki. They were tightly compacted and a bright light illuminated the darkness all around him. Legion found himself in perfect form as the first pitch let loose the first orb of ki. Like an atomic bomb there was an impact so large that its shockwave could be felt for miles. But, without waiting another second, he turned his left shoulder and let his arm fly through the air like a whip. The second blast rang out not but a second after the first, sending shockwaves that rivaled and clashed with the first's until the battlefield became riddled with dust and debris. Legion wasn't sure if his attack had landed, but it was one of the last chances he had to actually hurt her. Hades was coming but maybe if she was defeated he could turn his attention to suppression the lord of hell once more. Combat Rune / Base PL: 74,692

It was quite surprising, even in her maddened state to watch how her threads, in their infinite darkness had managed to spread out and crawl unto her opponent until she had to witness with her own eyes how her threads were burned to nothing, removed completely from the equation, yet her scowl at least lightened somewhat when she noticed how her opponent seemed to take on the full brunt of her latter technique, resulting in Halsey letting out a mad cackle as she looked down upon her work, dropping down to the ground with a rather bestial grin upon her face. Alas, as her eyes narrowed, she noticed the glistening energy which had seemingly prevented the majority of the damage of her attack, resulting in a growl escaping her lips. Witnessing how the red-eyed demon was getting more and more barbaric in his patterns, the Primeval tilted her head slightly, allowing her own energy to cover quite the space around herself in order to just be certain. It seemed this was not a bad choice, for as soon as the red-eyed demon’s spear pierced the veil of her energy, the beastly being tilted her head to the side, feeling the tip of the blade merely scratch her skin, while she herself jumped towards her opponent, with a wild growl, she swung her hand towards the man’s face as she leaped past him, aiming to rip of his face’s extremities and perhaps even have him spin around from the force of her swipe. Even so, it didn’t seem she’d be given any reprieve, as with a single glance, even the shattered mind of the Primeval could understand the incoming danger that was presenting itself. Thus, almost like a newborn, she huddled herself, making herself as small as possible by bending through her legs, holding her arms over her head to protect herself to the best of her abilities. Halsey could feel her body being pummeled by the incoming barrage of blasts, the heat and the force of the explosions almost suffocating her as she did her best to remain in her place, digging her feet deep within the ground in order to hold onto her position. When everything seemed to subside a bit, as Halsey straightened herself somewhat, still hunching over slightly forward, with her armor nearly in tatters, black blood running down her skin on several places and half her hair having been burned away, the woman’s body suddenly started to shudder, as she opted to use the whipped up dust and debris to somewhat allow her to take a better position for herself what would be coming next. Vanishing from her spot, leaving behind a wilting after image of herself, she found herself in a position she hoped to be a blind spot for the red-eyed demon, with the clouds of dust still covering large swaths of the battlefield. Black energy start to crackle around her left hand, a violent and virulent type of demonic energy enveloping all of her fingers and even her wrist, while the same started to happen on her right hand, which began to radiate with an eerie, yet strangely divine silver glow, a gentle and somewhat uncaring form of energy. With the pressure building up, the energy started to expand and began to pull in the dust and debris around her. Instantly, the woman slammed both her hands together, with her energies mixing together into a basketball-sized orb of silver and black energy, compressing it further with the ground cracking under her when finally, the orb seemed to collapse unto itself and unleashed all the cooped up energy in the form of a massive black and silver blade coursing through the air at blinding speed towards the red-eyed demon. As his spear crossed the threshold of her aura he could feel the tides of fate shift. Halsey shifted her stance and rotated her body slightly as the tip of Eldritch Bane grazed her face with care leaving only the slightly scratch on her skin. Then, with absolute bloodlust she leapt forward with her fingers extended out like claws. She racked them through the air, the very wind slicing apart from her talon like nails. Legion couldn't do much to react, only brace himself for impact with winched eyes and a flinched jerk as he attempted to turn his head slightly. Feeling her fingers dig into his face, clawing and shredding against his fair skin turned his stomach into knots. How could he let this happen? How could such a savage beast like Halsey manage to touch his face? As he questioned the events his eyes flashed with rage as blood began to surface from the fresh wounds. Dead eyes found themselves slowly moving to the corner as his gaze peered out from the cocked position it was in from her strike. He would not waver, nor would he give his back to the woman. With feet firmly planted into the ground he clenched down on his jaw and fought back to twist his body once more to face her. Then everything faded, his mind, his vision, his will to continue. Hades had taken over. From the explosions thrown in the moments of Legion's last ounce of consciousness the flames engulfed even him. They devoured Legion's flesh like an animal starved for months. His skin began to burn and tighten against his body withering away from his cheekbones and below. The flesh around his eye sockets suddenly peeled back and from what little flesh remained on his face appeared to be a depiction of a skull. His arms, from the wrists and to to the elbows, had found themselves scarred from the kiss of the flames. As the explosion finally died down all that stood in the place of where Legion once stood was a burnt and scarred shell of a man who was. His eyes were no longer dead but instead filled with nothing more than madness and disgust. Runes once etched in his irises had vanished in his left eye completely and shifted hues to a green that was brighter than the purest emerald. Unlike before his power only expanded further beyond its limits and he found himself baffled at his own strength. He looked onto Halsey, bloodied and battered, body still hunching slightly forward from the barrage, and smiled with a sinister grin. " I thought I killed us all before the dawn of creation.... Looks like one of you managed to hide away though." Hades chuckled and ran his hand through his hair until the sweat and grease caused it to stick up slightly in a messy spiked look. Glancing over her he could see the armor in tatters, the wounds seeping with fresh black blood and her body clearly in worse shape than she had begun. " Did he actually manage to wound you.... You're pathetic! How could you, a being as old as time allow him to stain your image. You should be ashamed of yourself." His face soured and a scowl found itself in the place of his once sinister grin. " Oh well, guess it means there is less work for me to do." He continued to look at the woman masked in the plume of dust but still she did not answer. " What's the matter?" Hades beckoned. " Do you not wish to reply to your King?" While taunting his prey the image shuttered slightly and a surge of power crackled across the battlefield in waves of black lightning. His eyes widened and he turned with what little time he had. " You resort to such tricks?!" He barked, eyes finally locked onto the woman and her real position. As the gathered silver ki imploded Hades merely smirked in response and his body flickered from existence. Appearing in the sky, high above the planet and the field of battle, he could see the black and silver beam rip through the very spot he once stood. The ground was completely removed from sight, as if it had been swallowed into the void itself. There was no explosion, no dust nor debris, it simply ceased existing. His right hand lifted and his his eyes narrowed. " You are too dangerous to be left alive." Hades declared with a voice fitting to rule. " I don't know where you were hiding, but a power like yours I should have been able to track down. You're either impressive or a thief. Regardless, it is time to end this little game." A blue flame ignited itself in his palm and slowly that tiny spark began to grow. The grass that had managed to survive the battle up until this point was still flush with green hues but as the flame grew it withered and darkened. The trees began to dry and splitter at the base of their trunks. Leaves crumbled and scattered in the wind like dust. Small rodents and other beasts fell lifeless to the ground as the orb continued to blossom. " This technique is fueled by life itself." He muttered as if the woman could hear him. " Farewell," his words vanished in the wind as the blazing sphere above his head reached a size unlike anything he had created before. It was a ball of flames, azure blue with tinges of white and silver whisking away on the inside. To anyway it may have looked more like a star, floating within the atmosphere of Kelioux and slowly descending onto the surface. His eyes watched on with glee as the flames from his gathered ki began to reach out like a small child, touching everything within its path and spreading like a virus. Soon the surface found itself shrouded in blue flames and still the star had not landed. The ground fractured under the weight, the crackle and roar of the flames echoed into the air, and suddenly there was silence. Then, with a brilliant blazing light spreading across the land, there was an implosion. The ki devoured itself like the flames had done to life around the surface, but after that bead of silence happened a supernova seemed to erupt from the epicenter of the blast. He could feel the heat raising from the ground and the plume from the explosion made the atomic bomb look minuscule. " Finally.... I'm free." Hades said with a chuckle under the raging inferno below. Looking to his palm his expression darkened slightly. " Damn it," he spat. " Looks like my power isn't fully back. It looks like the boy still has a hold." Lifting his hand he felt the sweat dripping from his brow, the fatigue setting in, and the muscles tighten. His power had been sapped completely, if he wanted to continue he would run the risk of draining his own life to continue. A risk, but one he was willing to take if it meant defeating this Eldritch being. Combat Rune / Base PL: 74,692

Halsey's Damage: 87.45% remainingLegion's Damage: 85.30% remaining RP Reward: Legion Explanation: Although the writing was good on both sides in this round, as it had been on the previous two and I did see Halsey stepping it up on detail and syntax. Legion stole it on his last post like he did last round because I like the build up to and reveal of Hades, although it was closely contestant. Sorry for the delay, fight on. Other Notes: Though this may have been a typo but the barrier proc against Halsey's Ion Blast did reduce damage by 90% because it was charged. I put it down as 50% due to it being charged. I gave you 50% on the block, between both that was 75% of the Ion Blast reduced.

Dullness, absolute dullness was all that could befall the maniacal, unstable and insane woman who was now on the verge of both a complete mental and physical collapse. She was coughing up her black blood even though by all means she shouldn’t have been all that wounded or damaged, but those who knew the risk Halsey took by pushing herself to her limits, also knew that the body did not need to be all too damaged for her to be riddled with adverse effects to torment her physical well being. All one needed to do was push the primeval to expend their power, dip into their very reserves of their energy and to have it wreak havoc upon the vessel carrying the primordial being’s essence. With her senses dulled, her emotions going rampant and her sense of self collapsing under the pressure of her own fallibility, Halsey was seething with anger, rage and showing just how unhinged one could get if they lost their mind completely. Confused by how she just couldn’t seem to take home the victory in a fell swoop, annoyed by the red-eyed demon’s persistence and frustrated by the fact that she could smell the scent of an old one without knowing where to find them all culminated in her mind’s fractured and primal state. A growl escaped the woman’s lips as she had to bear witness how her voidstorm wreaked havoc on the battlefield, ripping off chunks of the ground with ease in its path, only to have her target be nowhere near the path of the massive energy beam. She knew which technique it was he had used, but still...she had hoped that pushing herself beyond her limits would’ve been enough to end this farce once and for all. To make matters worse, the red eyed demon seemed to still have something up his sleeve, when Halsey had to bear witness to the man, utilizing a strange yet somehow familiar sounding voice, lifted his arm and started to form a massive orb of energy, darkening the entire battlefield with its shadow. It was a conglomeration of cold flames, hellish fire in an unnatural inferno being shown before her. Yet, rather than show fear or anguish, Halsey’s mind had long dropped such notions, such pathetic pretenses, retaining only the desire for destruction and death that had long ago been the main reason for why she had been considered too dangerous to be left unchecked. As the demon flung the orb of flames and utter devastation towards her though, her eyes glinted for a short moment, her hand raising towards her forehead with a wicked smile on her face, forcing herself to instantly displace herself and to return floating in the air with a shimmering reappearance. She would allow the destruction of this pathetic playing field of theirs, but the words the young man had uttered had hit home quite hard. He called her a thief, he had called this a game with that strangely familiar voice and though she could not understand or realize who or what was talking to her, those words did reach the one thing that was undeniably unique to Halsey among all her brethren: her sheer arrogance. “This...game?!” She snarled as she reappeared high in the sky, looking down upon the insurmountable destruction Legion’s last attack had wrought upon the battlefield, her eyes turning from the crimson hue of earlier to a sinister, yet somehow divine golden hue. Tilting her head backwards, she reached out for the orb she'd been carrying around with her this entire time, letting out a cackling laughter when an energy similar to the one she had shown with her void storm started to envelop her, regrowing her hair, removing almost all marks of bruises or outwards damage that she had sustained, even if it was but temporary, for that very moment, her body had regained the prime strength it had at the very start of the battle, in fact, she was truly glowing with vitality to an almost insane degree. Her muscles seemed to ripple with power and strength she had not displayed before. "Fine...let's end this indeed."Just like legion had done earlier, she raised her arm while hovering in the air, stretching out a single finger, atop which a small black orb with silver electricity started to crackle and form, rapidly gaining in size and mass until it too darkened the battlefield underneath its own mass and size. While not truly created from the woman's own life, the primeval was now risking it all in one go, knwoing fully well that this technique, utilized in rapid succession after her void storm, would truly break down her vessel's power and sustainability. However, it was a risk or rather a pleasure she was willing to take and endure. "You think you make the plans, you decide how this game ends...wrong, that would be me...Only I get to end this miserable charade..."With those words, she flung down her arm, the massive moon-sized orb of energy carening down towards the surface of the planet and the intended target, the incessantly annoying and surprisingly difficult opponent she had to deal with. Halsey though, wasn't spared from the repercussions, as her skin started to turn gray, flake in certain areas and her hair turned silvery gray in streaks, while coughing up black blood in insane quantities. Even so, while sounding a hackling cough, with black blood trickling from the corners of her mouth, her golden eyes looked down upon the battlefield with an air of superiority only a primeval could display. "This isn't funny anymore."Attacks taken: WA x4 Mesposo x2 Ki sword 70% redux Mouth Blast x2 Fire Breath Charged Tsuihidan (mine) Charged Ion Blast Blocked EEB

Lowering himself into the cinder and ash, he fell like the morning star. His hair was now covered in the gray flakes of ash staining the once raven shaded strings of hair into a tattered white. His face, heavily scared as if affected by his own flames, twisted with a smile that could send chills down even the most vile of foes. His eyes, one now void of the ancient runes, burned with the essence of Hell itself. With a deep inhale through his nose he tilted his head back. " I really wish you hadn't done that," he said calmly as if bothered by the need to further exert himself in this battle. He locked his gaze on the flying woman, her finger extended to the very heavens that Hades wished to defy. That is when the tiny bead of energy began to float from her nail. It was small, maybe the size of a marble, but more surprising was its color- or lack there of. Shrouded in darkness, like the void he had once wandered for eons before forging his crown. As he stared into the void he could feel the faint whispers creeping into his mind. The whispers of voices he thought he had long forgotten, long slain, and that was the moment he realized just who Halsey was. She was like him, a being from before the creation, a being that quite honestly could rival or succeed his own age. She was possibly as old as the Eaters, maybe younger. It was strange, her aura made it difficult to ascertain just who she was, but it was the shroud of mystery that allowed him to know a fragment of who she was. It seemed that his instincts were right from the beginning and Abel's emotions, Legion's emotions, were steered in the correct path from Hades' will. In this trying battle Hades had met a being that he once hunted, a being that managed to escape his bloodlust entirely or simply managed to avoid his path of destruction while he fought to become the being he was in his prime. " How interesting," his said briefly after a short chuckle. " I like you, woman." He faced the orb of darkness that had now came within the same size of his own attack. " Yes, yes! Show me the power that I have long since slain!" The King of Hell roared in response to her sudden proclamation of the shifting tides. This entire time his power continued to climb as his soul became more and more prominent within the helm of Legion's body. At first he was prepared to take the attack head on, his heels digging into the ground and his face contorted with a wide grin from his uncontrollable excitement. But as fate would have it, he caught the tail end of her skin flaking much like the very ash that fell from the cinders of the shrubs around him. She had put everything into her attack, her very life force, which only meant one thing for Hades. It was filled with an ancient power that few understood, few other than himself that was. So, with the knowledge granted to him by the fleeting glances of observation, he knew he could not face the attack head on. Instincts took over as his power continued to climb. His body found itself turned in an about face as he rushed away from the falling black sphere. Faster, he thought to himself, you have to move faster! Fear set in as his head refused to glance back at the darkness that was closing in on him. Yet, even without looking he could feel it, the heat, the shadow that cast itself over his frame and blocked out the sun above them. He found himself repeating in his head his new mantra, faster, faster, faster! Lightning that arched from the cusp of her gathered ki kissed his back and sent a shock down his spine. Was this the true extent of his speed? No, it couldn't possibly be! This was Hades- first King of Hell, slayer of the eldritch beings that lurked in the void, the very man that lived before time itself- this was not all he had! Suddenly his aura erupted out, repelling what faint arcs of lightning made their way for him and then, after the explosion of his ki surrounded his body, his image began to flicker. Pressing off of the crust with his rear foot he let loose all of his might, vanishing from sight and leaving nothing but the spent energy in his place that flickered like static on an old television screen. No matter his speed he could still feel the power at the edge of his heels, chomping down toward him as if it were a ravenous beast attempting to devour his very soul. But, rather it was luck or skill, he had managed to avoid the brunt of the attack, remaining on the edge of it's devastating power for what seemed like hours, but in reality was no more than seconds. Sweat now poured from his pores as if someone had dumped a bucket of water over his head. Had it not been for Legion's early scuffle with the woman he may have had a bit more energy. Regardless, he would not allow the fatigue to remove him from his battle, with what little ki he had remaining he knew he could continue. As long as his lungs were filled with the breathe of life, then he could continue. He came to a halt, looking over his shoulder toward the primordial with a grin that seemed to mask his true exhaustion. " Not half bad, it has been some time since I have faced off against one of you." Managing to control his breathing for the short bursts of sentences he continued to approach her with a power still not reaching its peak. " Doesn't seem like your body is holding up very well though... Do you think you can escape me like all those eons ago?" In truth, Hades was unsure if she was one of the few entities that had evaded him long ago, but if she was he knew the line may have some kind of mental affect on her. If Halsey knew of Hades and how he rose to power, she may reconsider the battle. However, if she didn't this game of cat and mouse would prove.... Interesting. Combat Rune / Base PL: 74,692

He had dodged her attack, of all things she had not accounted for, that little twerp had managed to avoid the majority of her deathball, the technique she had put everything she had left into. Withe her arms now drooping to her sides, the primeval dropped down to the ground, feeling her energy being drained beyond what the vessel allowed the primordial being to maintain. With her skin pale and crackling, her hair gaining the unmistakable silver streaks of age and exertion, Halsey could only growl and scowl in anger and disappointment. She had been outplayed and outmaneuvered by such a miserably little demon, an inferior kind of being had bested her...her of all people. Panting heavily, the primeval simply allowed herself to sink through her knees, observing the destruction the little squabble had wrought upon the planet. It was big, it was bold...it was pathetic, a mere planet withstanding the full brunt of her power was nothing to be pleased about. In their hayday, Primevals and progenitors wiped entire systems off of the map in their war...look at how far they'd fallen. "Funny how an Old one thinks they've won...it's not you but the kid who has shown potential far beyond what I expected," The primeval let out a sigh, tilting her head to the side in abject humiliation. "Escape who exactly? I never had to escape anyone...a Primeval does not run from battle like some ordinary beast. However, I would be remiss not to admit that if I had any strength left...running would be the wisest option now...wouldn't you agree?"

She fell to the her knees with a face twisted in agony, she had lost. More over, her will seemed to be as broken as her vessel as her heavy sigh and body language flaked before his very eyes. Then, through her broken façade, she looked up at Hades with golden orbs glistening with the reflection of the azure flames around them. She began to speak, stabbing into Hades' ego with words as sharp as his own blade. Twisting her metaphorical knife she ended the little line mentioning the boy and his potential, a potential that Hades knew all too well.... And quite possibly feared. " If it was not for my power he would have not been a candle to your flame," he said with sincerity, standing over him like a King to a peasant. She continued speaking of Hades and his long forgotten title 'Old One,' then, like a candle slowly dying out, she ended her speech with a sad tune. " Yes," Hades began to say immediately after she stopped speaking. " Running would be the safest option for you." His eyes danced over her, his fingers curled and flames began to grow against his fingertips. Would he allow her to leave? He began to look within himself, evaluating how much power he had left, how much damage his body had taken, and what tricks he could pull from his hat if the battle waged on. After a brief moment of consideration he sighed, flicking his hand a single time to extinguish the flames. " You may have something I need, so for now you will live." He said, almost displeased with himself. His conclusion; the battle couldn't continue. He was out of resources and even if he could annoy her- he couldn't defeat her with the power he currently had. Legion, no, Abel, had controlled Hades for eons without allowing him to be free. So, while he had the chance, he wanted to be sure of something- the future. " As a thanks for sparing you, I believe you can repay me with one small favor." He looked at her, possibly relating to her in his own way as her vessel crumbled before him. " Release me from these shackles, free me and I shall be in your debt." Once more he fell silent, feeling the tug of Abel clawing his way back to the surface from the tempest of souls. " Until next time..." He said lifting his fingers to his head and vanishing in a near instantaneous fashion. Combat Rune / Base PL: 74,692
