Starting Character: Upa
Starting Planet: Earth
Character Race: Human
Starting Stat Distribution:
Starting Trait Distribution:
Starting Technique: Bukujutsu
Character Bio: (Un)surprisingly a simple human ignorant of the many races and lore in outer space, Upa is pretty much aimless. Coming from a bit of an old civilization, he resides by the base of Korin Tower in a small settlement and lives his days without much thought. He's stern, reactive and persistent; not really much else to tell about him. With his village more-or-less detached from the mainstream, he's a conservative fellow and has a hard time adapting to different customs and methods. His life revolved around hunting, scavenging, socializing with his village folk and not much else. In the few times he did come in contact with the world outside his confines, Upa showed significant distrust. Regardless, even in a close-minded villager there's that spark of human curiosity that if we didn't have, we'd probably be stuck on Earth through the entire roleplay, wouldn't we.

Progress was certainly made. He'd grown more accustomed to the style, relying on it more often than not, surprisingly. He had to admit to its obvious usefulness, putting him out of harm's way first off and allowing creative options on the fly. Ninjutsu. To think he'd struggled with even performing a single technique only not too long ago.
And in his further exploration of the field, Bachou had come to the training area with a single scroll borrowed. Reading its contents and focusing was the easy part, naturally. The lesser challenge was, considering where he stood, the concept of an audience stopping by to observe. Now granted nobody in their right mind would take time to watch a Genin struggle with a simple Jutsu, but vanity and a fragile ego did work their magic in that worry. So if a mental issue was the lesser problem, the primary must have been --
Performance. "Oof..." Even for a simple technique and concept, with his innate skill with Chakra, Bachou had a hard time accomplishing much with his training. That is, of course, to be expected; learning to use a new nature transformation was arguably harder than learning flow in a new language. He'd memorized the handsigns by a couple calmed makeshift practices, seated down as he repeated the sequence a couple times until it came naturally. Enough to set that aside and focus on actually bringing the technique to realization.
Late afternoon, and the Akimichi opted to have his second lunch there in that field. He must have stayed for at least three hours by this point, enduring some minor exertion and major frustration. Yet he wouldn't let his defeatist nature surface here; it was obviously going to be difficult to pull off! Especially on the first couple of times. "Fire Style." He announced again, having completed the final seal. Inhaling deeply, Bachou thrust his form forward as he blew out with all his might. "Great Fireball Technique!!" Despite his obvious efforts, the Genin could still produce only a fraction of what the image would suggest in his head, for barely five seconds. "...Tch." Wiping away at his lips in their heated state, the boy's eye winced as he marked yet another failure.
Learning from scratch, on his own. A rough task if he ever knew one.
