Character Bio: Android 24, formerly known as Gino, was a typical American High School’s model student. He had good grades, was Quarterback of the football team, and stayed out of trouble. One day during a football game he was hit hard by an opposing team’s lineman, and suffered moderate injuries including several broken ribs. A descendant of Dr. Gero, who happened to be present at the game, rushed to the field and told everyone he was a doctor. Dr. Gero’s Grandson, Dr. Hedo, rushed Gino away to his lab, where he not only repaired his broken ribs, but implanted Android technology throughout the rest of his body. Gino woke up from the surgery incredibly upset and depressed, feeling as though the doctor ruined his life. Now when he picks up a football, he can throw it 1,000 yards. But Gino, newly appointed Android 24, is too afraid to even show his face again at school. Dr. Hedo convinces Android 24 to use his new powers for good. He can start a new life as one of Earth’s great super heroes. Gino just wanted to be a regular High School kid and didn’t ask for any of this, but as he learns to fly and use other incredible powers, the idea does grow on him. Although he was turned into an Android against his will, he agrees to use his new powers for good.
