Mira VS Juch
Juch — Yesterday at 11:31 PM
Sometimes it was the thought that mattered more than the actual effect of it. Even if Mira didn't care for the action, Juch would have done it anyways.
Now that they were out of the rain, it wasn't needed anymore. The ki umbrella disappeared and Juch's cane fell back down to the ground. Both of the android's gloved hands grasped the top of the weapon as Mira walked in first.
No light from the lightbulbs. Makes sense; if there wasn't power running the electric fence outside, there may not be power from inside as well. Mira's aura provided some respite from the darkness however and Juch peered into the room.
The staircase leading up to the second floor had been smashed through, the splintered steps providing no hope to access the upper floor if they didn't know how to fly. More debris lay further inside towards what most likely was the kitchen. Juch stepped inside as well, looking around, "Most likely they didn't have a choice, based on what we see here--"
Before he could continue, the door behind him suddenly slammed shut. Juch spun around to look behind, uttering, "That wasn't me."
He had already displayed his competence with telekinesis to Mira before, so he felt that this clarification was necessary. Reaching into his side, Juch slid out a small pistol. This didn't seem to be like their confrontation with the demon, his gut feeling told him; if there was someone else here, and that has yet to be confirmed, they were much more cunning than trying to outright attack them head on.
Shell Mira Towa — Today at 6:53 AM
Juch shared his thoughts on the place and Mira nodded. It was clearly possible he was right, but considering the location nothing was certain.
"What if this entire scene was just one that someone used as a backdrop for a fight and then never came back to it after. The realm has the details of the location set, but not fully defined by the one who used their mental power to create it. Then after they got what they wanted the realm kept it stored and from that point it just processed what normally would happen as it had been designed?"
Maybe it was a strange option, but Mira saw no reason why that could not be the case as well.
Then the door slammed shut behind them. Mira looked to the scholar who immediately spun and made sure it was known he had nothing to do with that action.
The Android grinned slightly. If some entity was trying to mess with them he was more than willing to put it down as well. It was possible that maybe this would lead to more answers too.
Juch — Today at 11:18 AM
"That was certainly an option as well. For the intention of the scene is certainly not well known; as for what happened to it after the creator was finished, that would be difficult to say. Your thoughts before on the world flourishing afterwards without any supervision seems to be the most likely option. That hole in the fence allowed the livestock to move out and propser."
"Whether this place has a hostile entity or if this functioned more as a haunted house of sorts, however, that I'm not sure of," Juch finished. He reached in his other pocket, taking out his light. With a click, a small flame added to Mira's glow, adding a bit more to their vision, "I think to be safe, we should secure the first floor first before checking any other levels of the building."
Shell Mira Towa — Today at 1:40 PM
Securing the building was right down Mira's ally of expertise. He did like to beat up things and kill them. If it was actually a haunted house, then maybe something would jump out that needed vaporized.
"Haunted house..." Mira pondered the concept, "What if you do not have fears?" He questioned a smirk on his face.
He felt he was the one that was the horror story and invoked fear, but maybe this house if Juch was right then something would prove him wrong.
He nodded beginning the adventure in the house heading deeper in. Not really sure what he was looking for, but looking as if he knew something was here now.
Juch — Today at 7:36 PM
"Then I suppose it would be an amusing romp," Juch chuckled as he readied his weapon and moved further into the kitchen. Leaning against the wall, he peered around the corners before moving further in.
"Looks like they were cooking something," he remarked, nodding to the rotten sludge in the pot that used to be some sort of stew at this point before looking around. The boards creaked with every step as he held his lighter up. Cobwebs dotted the various cabinets and there were unwashed dishes in the sink as well. A movement in the corner caught his attention, but by the time light shone at that place, there was nothing there.
"Hmm."
Shell Mira Towa — Today at 9:19 PM
Dirty people. Well that was an easy observation. Mira looked at the uneaten food, the dirty dishes and the mess around the kitchen area and shook his head. Whatever had caused this place to be abandoned, did not care about the mess left in its wake. But it was not pure destruction, it was certainly something uniquely different than most strange situations.
"You catch that movement too? Mira said watching the light of Juch move around.
He wasn't sure what it was, but he felt like something was here for sure now.
Juch — Today at 9:22 PM
"Yeah," Juch muttered with a frown, holding his lighter up higher in his hand. While there was movement, there wasn't any noise to it whatsoever. But at least he knew that he wasn't hallucinating, because Mira also confirmed it as well.
"I did. This path leads to the living room next. I'll go check it out," the Scholar spoke, walking away from the disgusting mess and into the next room. As long as Mira was behind him, he felt that at least his six was protected, rather than being forced to be on alert from all different angles.
Moldy couches and a static filled flickering television set in the next room. Juch paused, "What the..." he murmured to himself.
Shell Mira Towa — Today at 9:26 PM
The living room on the first floor was next. Juch went in first and Mira followed watching for something stupid to happen. Would he be jumpy if the first thing that popped out he blasted away? Was it better to just ignore the random attempted freight?
The disgusting furniture was here, but then the televisions flickered on to the snow screen. His eyes narrowed, maybe this wasn't a house of horror, but an actual trap for an attack?
"If they wanted to turn the TV on they could have at least put something interesting on."
