Anna/Barkley
Anna had such an innocent blink when he turned to her and then suggest that she beat him up when he moved. That bit of light shedding almost flew over her head, and she was about as quick to agree to it in her mind. But it hit her that his reaction tailored toward that request and that was more or less the issue.
He flopped and yawned as Barkley asked him the direct question. He said he tried to kill her. This lowered Anna's eyes in intrigue and suspicion. Normally he tried to kill her -- which he immediately said afterwards with a grin to boot.
"Who are you trying to kill other than me? I'm a bit jealous," she stated with a rising pout. They both had normalized it at this point, which was part of their twisted relationship. Not many would agree or understand how malleable Anna was to Yan. Most would think she needed rescuing or something.
She never did. Anna sometimes thought Yan needed rescuing from her. Maybe they needed to be rescued from each other -- who knew.
Barkley flung herself off the bed to stand and she looked between her parents. It had been a long year. They both had suffered changes that shook the strange foundations of the House of Cass, and yet Barkley was probably the least changed one between them. When she thought on it, it brought on the memories and thoughts of George. His meddling did a serious number on her father. It weakened his soul and mind in ways that allowed these kinds of things to happen, for him to break the character he built up all these eons -- for him to lose that composure he made commonplace.
It was evident she was a bit lost in thought, half listening to what they were saying.

Yan
At Anna’s question, Yan’s grin grew even more mischievous at her jealousy and leaving her in suspense of another rival. Truthfully he just didn’t want to say. He had gotten so far away from her throughout the years and now she was the third strongest connection he had. If Anna hadn’t gotten Shin’s she’d be smack dab second. It was infuriating, and manifested in various ways. He never tried to kill her before though. It spoke to his utter desperation, as well as the effect so much positive attention had on him. Without the connections making things feel solid, they all felt even more vulnerable, like she could snatch them away from him like she did everything else.
He lifted his hands and covered his face, under his hair to grip at his scalp to wake himself up better, then sat up again. He didn’t want to worry Barkley any more than she was, though he wouldn’t insult her intelligence by telling her not to worry at all. Seeing her caught in thought gave him an ache, and he looked down to the bed. His power level had relaxed again but he looked up to them with an ‘oh my’ face.
“It’s a good thing the bed’s reinforced,” he said, purposefully trying to embarrass Barkley with any thoughts to why to snap her out of her stupor.

Anna/Barkley
Barkley's snap out of her stupor came with a blink and then there was a sudden crimson blow up upon her facial features that symbolized embarrassment. But she still grinned at what he said, despite just how much she hated thinking about what her parents did in this bed.
Mostly because her own mind understood that all too well. She had her share of moments to share to counter the embarrassment and put it on her father, but she honestly thought he'd turn that into pride, knowing his daughter had the same charms as he did.
Well, there was a certain competition vibe, as Barkley did want to usurp her father's charm and become the most desired Cass in the universe! But... now that was a challenge. This? Well parents aren't supposed to do this, even though the logic of it meant she would never be born (She wasn't MEANT to be born though).
"Ew," she let out while also sticking out her tongue in mock disgust. "You two are nasty. Go do it with someone else!"
Anna then chimed in with a surprising answer, that typically went against her previous jealous nature. "I've been planning on that. Don't give away the Y day secret, Bark!"
Anna then grinned with her eyes closed in a very innocent fashion. "I was thinking maybe 2 or 3 extra to test the room? See if we need to add a bit more reinforcements. Ah! Well since the secret's out, I need a list of suitors."
Anna reached outward and pulled a notebook out of the dimensional ether and flipped it open. Another reach and she grabbed a pen. "More boys than girls would be nice so I can... I can waaatch~"
Barkley's eyes widened in shock and... almost intrigue. Not in joining or anything of the sort. She could never touch her parents in that way or feel comfortable letting them see her in that act. But -- damn she needed to find a partner like that. When did her mom get like this? Was this another change brought on by the events?

Yan
Yan grinned at Barkley’s response only to blink at Anna’s words. It wasn’t her nonchalance, as he was getting used to that, but he was seriously confused about something else entirely.
“Did you actually make friends?” he asked her with a dumbfounded expression that would probably make Barkley giggle.
It had been a running…well, almost a concern but definitely a tease that Anna lived far too much for Yan and Barkley over anyone else. Even when Barkley was growing up and in school she was very happy as a homemaker taking care of them versus actually building relationships with the other moms. She was the A+ trophy wife that Yan never wanted and found quite boring of her. Ironically, it was her jealous fits kept him entertained, as no one could say Anna’s personality wasn’t adorable. She just didn’t reach out. She never had after Revan.
“There is Yua…Riya might be interested. We could have Jormand’r manifest…” he said thinking off the top of his head people she might at least know.

Anna/Barkley
"Well... n-no," she said while putting the pen up to her lips. "I haven't really left the house other than to try and capture Plutonia. Then ended up in that time thing... and blacking out... and waking up... and I mean –"
"Huh, you tried to capture Plutonia? Wait back up, Plutonia as in Puar?" Barkley had known about Puar's actual name, but only from her own extensive research and piecing things together... (spying on Adel and Puar talking was the extensive research).
It was how Barkley even got to be Puar's student and the reason that she was opening on a line of trust between the two. Puar was very frantic and paranoid when it came to her true name and identity. And now... her mother was trying to capture her?
"Yes. I guess I didn't tell you. But it also was very recent. Trade Master didn't want me to kill her -- he didn't even really want me to fight her, but he also said it would be fun to fight her so to bait it. But he also said to not damage her, as he wanted her in one piece and serviceable."
"Huh," Barkley let out. Puar told her about the Masters as well. Puar assumed something entirely different.
"But anyway, we can get into that later. I-I need to actually make friends," Anna said with the last part fading off into a whisper. "Yua is a friend though! And Riya is a fan -- I guess she is a friend too. Jormand'r comes along with Riya. So we have 3!"
She went on writing, but now it was evident she was thinking on what he said about her making friends.
"You two are just gunna plan your sexual escapades in-front of me like this," Barkley asked with a joking annoyance.

Yan
"You're ruining Trade Master's fun," Yan said wagging his finger at Anna. "Barkley's gonna tell Puar everything you just said."
It was likely that the man knew of Barkley's connection to Puar and why he reached out to Anna. He seemed like a four steps ahead of the plan type, so he was likely expecting Puar to have found as much if they hadn't been sucked back in time.
"Back in time, complaining I was ignoring you only to ignore me," he added crossing his arms over his chest with a pout before looking back to Barkley. "Juch ignored me too, would you believe it? Aria came running though."

Anna/Barkley
"Well, I tried not to ignore you but I got disconnected somehow," Anna stated in defense. "And oops, sorry TM. I am sure he should have planned for that, though. If he doesn't know that my daughter is involved with Puar then he's slipping."
"That could be the play," Barkley mentioned while putting her fingers to her chin. "Get Puar to find out the truth, invoking her curiosity to want to meet him. I will let it play out. Once I tell her everything, she'll react and I will just follow up. TM might just think the Cass House is a valuable resource to get what he wants."
"Probably, who knows. But you said Aria came? Ah shit, that was probably my fault. I didn't turn off the connection thingie and I pinged her a few times I think? But aw, that's cute. Through space and time Aria always comes running to my mans."
Anna's eyes lowered in both jealousy and annoyance. "I so wish my mother would leave Houzi alone. You need to stop charming her man chasing ass up."
Speaking of Aria, Anna was a bit curious as to what she has been up to. "She has been pretty quiet lately, or is that just her working with Adler on Damaskia? I guess if Damaskia is quiet and behind the scene-ish then she is as well. But I am sure YOU would know what she is doing -- and its probably you."

Yan
"Seems messy," was all Yan said on the matter. Regardless of his intentions now, Trade Master and Puar had a literal blood feud. Maybe they could let bygones be bygones, the universe was so very gray and forgiving when it suited someone better. It seemed he was incapable of meeting someone who stood strong by their principles and grudges without folding at the first sign vengeance or righteousness wouldn't benefit them, forgetting neither were for benefits.
"She did come to me," he said thoughtfully. "Probably thought correctly that you were another one of her annoying kids," he added with a grin, though when she complained he shrugged. "You did give her permission," he said solemnly, like it was some sacred bond, but he shrugged again when the topic of Damaskia came up.
"She's been doing some things for me, along with me," he said matter of factly, but not denying it at all. "Adler did his best, but he lacks my charm. A lot of things got messed up while I was away."
