Anna/Barkley
"Dine Larner? Heh, fine. But it isn't against the rules if he falls for me instead, oho!" Barkley gave him two pointed fingers right back to him.
"Oh is he available for the Y day squirmish," Anna asked and Barkley turned to her.
"Didn't you just hear? He is baaad news!"
"But...B-But the more the merrier," Anna said with a bit of a trail off of confusion and also doubt. Barkley rolled her eyes.
"Let's not talk about Y or A days. Let's talk PIRATE! I heard there is a famous pirate out there too. Heard she is all brutal and nasty. We could become friends with her or even better -- rivals!"

Yan
"Oh, I don't care if he falls for you," Yan said. "Let him suffer."
He lifted an eyebrow when Anna jumped back into orgy mode. She really was stuck on that. He'd have to do something about it.
"While he has grown up and gotten a really attractive rugged man look with a totally hot bod..." Yan started, trailing off in his own little fantasy, but snapping back with ease. "I'm afraid I will always be too high above Dine for him to ever see me as such," he explained with such a big headed braggy tone before his smile opened up to something sincerely warm, but still mischievous.
"Besides sometimes he'll make a face and all I see is brat," he said with genuine fondness as he might have called Hayami or Daji. Yan was far from ever being a father figure to the horse, but he would probably get sparkly eyes in private if he was thought as Yan's younger brother.
"Always a weird thing with my travels. When I leave him he's a little brat boy, and then the next time I see him he's a grown ass man," he said with amusement. It usually suited him because while kids naturally flocked to him, much to his distress, they reappeared all grown up and he no longer had to feel uncomfortable. But Dine was still a bit bratty to be sure, not that he'd ever show such a side with someone he didn't trust. That was the name of the game.
"If we're gonna pirate, we're bound to run into Dine," he said, helping Barkley back on track. "But he is very charming~" he explained. "That's why he's a spy~"

Anna/Barkley
"I see," Anna said in response to how he explained his relationship with Dine. It began to cool her off of the entire orgy process, that and Barkley hurriedly trying to keep the subject on piracy. "Well, are beginnings probably should be to poke at the Star Wolves, right? When do we start?"
"If everyone is well rest, right now eh? Should we go and gather a brand new crew for the thrills or do we lean on people we already know," Barkley asked while looking to Yan. "And what should your Captain name be? I'm First Mate! Juturna is definitely the Sailing Master. Mom can be...well the cannon. Yea. She can be Gunner."

Yan
“Maybe not now,” Yan said looking down at the much needed shower and not feeling rested at all. Looking at the clock it was somewhere around four in the morning, a dangerous time indeed. “After showers and waffles,” he said looking to Anna with an expectant closed eyed smile that would probably further gross Barkley out because he made the better waffles so he was definitely being expectant about the shower.
At her questions though he held his chin. “A bit of both I think,” he said about new people and people they knew. Along with an arrangement with Chamomile he kind of wanted to put Fayte in a pirate hat. It’d be interesting to meet some of Barkley’s friends too. Maybe she could even con the elusive Puar.
At the captain question he perked up.
“Jutters made my captain name Mister Cass, like Mister Smee and Mister Spock, the ones actually in charge,” he explained confidently. “Or at least that’s what she told me,” he said destroying the earlier confidence with gusto. “It’s fairly possible it was an early power move so that she was the captain and I was just first mate.”

Barkley visibly showed her sign of disgust to the shower bit, knowing very well that her father was making the breakfast. Thankfully she was already off the bed and she stuck her tongue out at him for the obvious tease. She then grinned with thoughts of a subtle revenge, and she placed her finger upon her lips and gave a little hmph out to the room.
“Well, I guess I will go grab a quick shower as well,” she said with a tone that told them both more than just it being a simple shower, sounding a bit sensual. “Dad better be the one making the waffles! Because I am bringing a guest to breakfast. A cute one.” Barkley wanted to just disappear without saying a word, but she couldn’t help but want to linger to see if her bait that she set out would catch.
Anna gave Yan a very sweet smile, her eyes simmered to a close itself. But that smile changed a bit when she heard what Barkley was saying. “Huh,” she let out. Of course Barkley doesn’t really speak to Anna that much about her love life or who she is interested in, and opts to tell Yan most of it. But this one was a fresh face, and she had yet a chance to even introduce her.
Anna wasn’t the fish she wanted to catch though. Barkley looked to her mother and gave a small nod, however. “I’ve texted dad about her a few times, she is the lucky one.”
It was way too many interests and partners for both Yan and Barkley to keep up with between each other, but she had only called one girl lucky. The last actual name Barkley called her between text was Bailey, and the picture that would pop up in Yan’s mind would be a dark grey-haired girl with vibrant green eyes.

Yan
Yan snorted at Barkley’s tone, covering his mouth apologetically after. He never did as such when she was building her confidence in such matters, but now that she had it in spades, he couldn’t keep a straight face. Her trying to be sexy translated to the same effect as a toddler trying to do gymnastics in his mind. You couldn’t help yourself from laughing as they did a summersault for the first time only to get a look of sheer confusion on their faces as to what had just happened.
It was not an insult to Barkley’s technique, after all, a toddler doing a summersault was impressive, he just couldn’t take it in any way seriously. It might have been a subconscious defense mechanism of some sort, or maybe that’s just one way parents saw their kids.
“I think Barkley wants me to scare her date,” he said to Anna, leaning over and wrapping his arms around her waist, his chin on her shoulder, for a larger display of affection. “Put on the big scary father act.”
He had probably done so a few times at Barkley’s bequest not because she wanted to test a date but because she thought it’d be funny. He had different levels of course. The hitman, where he put on his most cold hearted emotionless mask that made normal warriors sure Yan was going to kill them. The joker, where he put on his most pleasant face and smile while jovially explaining how he would rip them limb from limb. The scrutinizer, where he said very little at all and simply watched them with his knowing gaze.
Of course, if Barkley wanted to keep a partner, the big scary father act didn’t tend to keep anyone around at any level, but why else would she linger and look for his response? He knew she really liked this girl but perhaps not enough…
He flashed her a grin of course, expecting a quick backtrack.

Anna/Barkley
Barkley pouted at Yan's actual reaction, but she shouldn't have expected anything more than that. Her pout easily turned into a grin to show that it was a very simple and short lived feeling of embarrassment. "How else can I test their mettle," Barkley said while closing her eyes and shrugging. "If they can't handle scary daddy, then if I am to have a serious relationship one day it won't even work."
None of her relationships were serious and most were just flings, or maybe friends that wanted a little sprinkle of sensuality. Normally, if they wanted to try and be with her seriously, they took this scary dad thing serious -- and some run when they realized he's too much to handle --. Some? No, basically all of them ran so far. Barkley wasn't looking for a serious mate though. Was there one that took the challenge just as silly as her and her father took it?
"You two are always scaring away those poor people," Anna said with a frown. But she wasn't any better. She was worse to be quite honest. Yan's act was that; an act. Barkley knew that her father was an expert at what he did. Her mother? Anna was no act, she was actually a scary mother. Or was. This would be the first time that she would bring someone around, or mention someone in this light with Anna's odd shift in personality.
