Yua VS Delyth
Juch — Yesterday at 2:44 PM
"Yeah..." the girl trailed off, rubbing her arms in embarrassment; honestly, she didn't really think that far ahead. Maybe she needed to train up a bit more before using the gem again.
"Drawn to the -- so, you didn't use any gems or anything like that? You just...came here?" Delyth had a confused expression on her face before looking back down at her own attire, "Oh yeah, I am. I just finished picking some fruit before I woke up here."
Rei — Yesterday at 10:43 PM
"Of course," Yua said as she tilted her head and pointed her hand in the air. The dirt on her friend flowed off as she waved her hand around and set the dirt into the hole that she came out of. "On the planet Kanassa that Damaskia had taken over, one just simply spends time and can use psychic abilities.
One of them is the ability to come to this realm without the use of the gem. It's also more efficient than the gem." The downside was that it seemed more likely to get called out of nowhere. "On the bright side, you could also use those psychic powers to help you with farm work!" She suggested the alternative, or perhaps a different way to see it.
Juch — Yesterday at 11:04 PM
Delyth gasped, as the earthy scene seemingly vanished in an instance; with just a gesture, Yua had moved to the soil right back to where it had come from! Amazing!
"I thought psychic stuff was just looking at crystal balls and stuff," the girl said with her eyes wide, "I didn't know you could do stuff like that too!"
She had heard about things such as the recent conquer of Kanassa, but other than praise for the empire and what essentially passed for a holiday, she didn't think too deeply on it. And the access to this place even without a gem - why, that would save up on much of her pocket money indeed if she did choose to frequent the astral realm more often. But what Yua suggested next simply turned her world upside down!
"I didn't even think of that," Delyth continued, muttering now more to herself; if she could master that sort of thing then...
She imagined herself just sweeping produce away onto the truck without breaking a sweat, or just levitating the animals back into their pens - why, it would be a piece of cake, wouldn't it?!
"H-How long would I have to be there?" she all but blurted out, looking back at Yua with eagerness, "That sounds amazing!"
Rei — Yesterday at 11:16 PM
Yua beamed as the girl seemed to take in all the information and got excited. Ah, so this os what it meant to get surprised and excited. The girl likely didn't even think of shame, at least not while she was so absorbed in the thought. "Psychic abilities are more than just a crystal ball, yes."
"Ah, that's the crux, isn't it?" She added when asked how long. "Six weeks to get to the point you can access this realm without the gem. So half an Earth year." Quite the investment, but in many ways, it was worth it. At least for many warriors. "I must warn you that if you leave prematurely, that timer will reset. But to be able to just move objects, two weeks."
Juch — Yesterday at 11:32 PM
"Six weeks," Delyth repeated, crossing her arms, "six weeks, six weeks. Oh, would I be able to leave the farm for that long? I'll need to find a helper for them or something."
"Gah, I'll figure something out," she shook her head. She didn't particularly understand why early leavers would be subjected to such, but it must have something do to with...psychic-y mumbo jumbo stuff. Absorbing the energies like plants to sunlight maybe? All that made her head hurt.
"But I heard that there was a scary forest on the planet, and the people there are like, giant fish people. They aren't scary?"
Rei — Yesterday at 11:57 PM
Yua tilted her head before she blinked. She then got a most mischious look on her face. An awrful, extremely mischivious grin spread as she teased her new acquaintance, "Come now, you aren't afraid of bipedal fish people, are you?" She left that grin on for just a moment before she walked over and patted the girl on her back gently.
"All joking aside, you can avoid the forest itself, if you want. In your case, it's very likely that they wouldn't put you in any danger. Besides, the Kanassan are a nice people. Just don't show them any aggression and you should be juuuuust fine." As she had walked over, the liquid metal was reabsorbed back into her body, with a wet pop sound.
"Just think of it as motivation." She nodded her hea at that. Motivation was one of the great equalizers, and even then, effort and hard work were as well. One that trained hard could sometimes defeat the mutant that was born powerful.

Her expression changed.
It was - Delyth didn't know how to describe it, but while the smile was still there, it was definitely different! "N-No? I mean, I dunno! Maybe?!" she squeaked out. When Yua put it like that, the image of giant fishes with two legs and arms sprouting out from their sides is even more concerning!
Right?! She wasn't crazy, was she?!
Absolutely flustered, the Damaskian calmed down a bit when a more reassuring hand from Yua pressed lightly against her back, "...oh, okay. That's at least a relief," Delyth instinctively winced at the squelching sound from the melted sword - Yua looked normal, but that definitely wasn't normal! "I'm not the type to be looking for trouble anyways."
"So like, do you just stand around for six weeks or something, and it'd like, naturally come to you?" on second thought, Delyth shouldn't be as worried; after all, Kanassa is now part of the empire now right? So it wasn't like she was contemplating about visiting a completely foreign planet altogether, "Weird. But if I do find the time to go, I think I definitely should."
She affirmed with a more steady nod, "Yua, you know a lot of this sort of stuff; you must be well traveled."
Rei — Today at 12:25 AM
The Paladin grinned as she nodded her head. It was a delicate thing, to reveal information like where she hailed from, and rank in any place. The android decided to give her a little more detail. "Well, I'd say you should meditate while there. In essence, you relax your body and mind and just...think. Contemplate. Warriors will look in on themselves and think or their shortcomings as warriors.
You might think of it as introspection. What do you lack, and what can you fix." She nodded her head and waved her hand up. She made a little wind that blew gently and used that to brush against the tree. "I'm a lot older than I may look to you. But don't let that get you down. You're a stronger person that you know." Just the ability to reach this place was proof enough.
With that, the android looked up and smiled as she made a night sky for the girl. "I have to leave here for now, but stay under the night's sky. It should help you relax some, right?"
