Trade Master
His eyes slowly simmered into that fuchsia color once more, searching for an answer to Yan's trade request. "Her strength... her level of power. or equivalent. It would give me enough influence to fashion a trade wish for her connections back without disturbing the order of the original trade. Of course, I would gain a lot of power, that probably won't be put to good use other than to be a big stamp of power in the universe that sits behind a desk all day."

Yan
Yan was kind of hoping for something like memory or life, but the more boring but suitable answer came instead: Power.
"You could give the current Distora a run for her money," Yan joked. Trade Master might have been being honest just then, that he really didn't have use for the power beyond certain tasks, but unfortunately, it was a huge chunk of power not in a large number. It was a game changer for many, though still had quite a few giants over it.
"Her power level for all her connections?" he asked after letting his thoughts roam around the idea as he sipped his coffee. "Would you need less for just one?" If that wasn't the case, the way he spoke of it, maybe he could get more than just Anna's. Yan probably wouldn't hestitate to trash his power level for that, but he thought just one of the missing connections would give Anna some balance back. She paid a hefty price of her identity to give his back. The difference one more piece could make could be quite significant.

"The more power that I have, the more potent your trade wish will be. To get all of her connections back it takes her level of power, anything more would require more. I would also like to note that we are trading power for connections here, this will not nullify my agreement with her and she will still have that irresponsible power. I can add taking that away and nullifying the original trade agreement. It was all in good fun really," he said with a smirk, his eyes finally fading from that color.
"But, yes I could always take a little less for just one as well."

Yan kept his thoughtful expression, holding the warm cup in both hands. He felt a little disappointment, but he didn't let it show. If Trade Master were a friend he might have pouted or been dramatic, but this was business and he wouldn't show any commitment or true interest, just consideration.
"It's okay, I'll just murder her if she uses it again," Yan said absently, still lost in thought at the opportunity. It showed a bit of his true character, but maybe he wanted that known at this point. He'd played very nice, but he was still that type of man at the end of the day.
"Let's see, she gave up her purpose, her righteousness, and her wrath," he said, half to himself before looking back to Trade Master. "Do you think it's in thirds or that one might cost more than an other? Is it bad I think her wrath might be bigger than her purpose?" he asked, beginning to become more familiar with the trader, at least enough to show this more personable side of himself--joking but also kind of dangerous just by his very nature. He kept those in check when talking about Puar. Mostly.

Trade Master
Trade was... curious. He showed it as Yan spoke a bit differently and showing a bit more of his character. His expression was thoughtful as well, but it was more so stifling down shock that a man would simply murder the person he is trying to save. It was intriguing. As he asked, Trade thought even harder. "Well is she more mad than she is purposeful? Heh, if she is then it might just be the biggest piece. But...then what was her purpose? I suppose the righteousness wasn't all that big. Hm," he stopped himself and closed his eyes. He could give the answer sure enough and there was a chuckle.
"Well damn, you are right. There is more value in her wrath than her purpose and righteousness. She didn't really seem like the angry type -- but she was also crying when I met her so..."

Yan simply shook his head to this, as if scolding her right then and there for it, but he looked back to Trade Master when the man explained his impression of her.
“That’s how she fools you,” he said, but somehow sounded a bit proud versus upset. “Anna had a literally explosive temper that could be very easily triggered, but until it was, she came off as cute, calm, and a little nervous. But it always raged under the surface. She was literally forged in war.”
He probably shouldn’t have explained Anna so much to someone who was trying to use her, but with the paopu fruit restoring their connection, he was back to being a braggart husband who for some reason always bragged about her bad qualities.
“It was fuel for her purpose and righteousness, which is probably why it’s bigger,” he explained in a more reasonable fashion, figuring it out as he said it. “Without her righteousness and purpose though she’d probably destroy the universe with just her rage, so that’s a lesser priority even if I will miss her trying to kill me over dishes.”

"Interesting. You lot are very interesting," he said and then he nodded. "So I take it you want to get her purpose back, I could rope righteousness in there for a 2 for 1 special. You, sir, have dropped the cost of power significantly. About 25% of her power is what I need now, that wrath is pretty heavy. Is this the trade deal you are looking for? 25% of her power or equivalent for her connection to purpose and righteousness?"
He liked to clarify the deals, and give time to his tradee to think it over. Trade Master was no snake or devious person by default. It was always clean business.

Twenty five percent was quite doable, even if he had to sacrifice his own power to do it, but he didn’t really want to do that. He’d much rather force Ms. I Can’t Live Without You to do it herself. But he did think about his own connections then. It was like the black stars being one at a time. It was far from likely his entire power level would be enough to restore him to his previous self. He could consider that original list of people who looked for him, maybe toss a few extras in, but he’d have to think on that, who he really wanted back. Now that he knew pure power could be traded however, he might just have to actually train.
“Well, I assume I can’t just give you hers, so I will broach the topic with her and threaten divorce if she disagrees,” he said easily taking another sip of his coffee. “If you don’t mind putting a small hold on it? You don’t take me as a take it right now or leave it business man but I don’t like making assumptions with deals either.”
Yan could usually tell a liar, and while Trade Master wasn’t really sure what he wanted to do with Puar, it seemed like she would still have the advantage even with this deal. With Yan’s power level on top, she might struggle but he remembered her response in the arena. She probably wouldn’t blame him for getting what he’d lost. It was fair, even if it wasn’t preferable.

"Take all the time you need," he said. "I have lived quite a long life, and wait times have lost its annoyance for me. If its important to you then you will get to me soon, if it isn't -- well it isn't as important to me either. I do take a lot of value in this meeting, however. A lot of value was given to me, and I am not disappointed in it in the slightest. I feel you have impressed me more than I could have impressed you. My goal was never impression though, it was just curiosity. I only know you by face and name, and even that much was a hassle to get.
"I was just interested in who Yan Cass was, and how could someone throw their life away to help him. There are several people like that in the universe, but to shake someone so powerful to their knees to where they were ready to risk it all for you -- now that is admirable."

“It’s rare I escape certain reputations after my ventures,” Yan said thoughtfully, finding himself missing his more discrete work. Ironic that he stepped out of the shadows in joining the Shadowguard. Somehow his position had ended up very public when he hadn’t even started there with his last name.
At Trade Master’s next words though, Yan’s expression softened a little. “I don’t think she’s the only one,” he said in a neutral tone, still light but not as cheerful. Riya had definitely thrown her life away for him, or had been fully prepared to. Aria also spent her time trying to jump into a crazy battle she wasn’t sure she could win. Even Tomoko stepped up. Two Chaos Lords dug their claws into things that could cause great conflict.
He sipped his coffee again, keeping himself from frowning.
“I guess there is still one more question,” he admitted. “For me,” he said looking to Trade Master again, his expression neutral and yet this time his gaze was almost piercing, at the very least pointed. “If I were to ask for my connections to Aria Rondown, Lee Adler, Grandmaster Adel, Fayte Zema,” he paused there, “and Juch…” He wasn’t sure he wanted to ask for the latter but knew it would fill in a lot of blanks.
He didn’t think Keres cared enough to include her. He had already reestablished his connections to Tomoko, Anna, and Samara. He was enjoying rebuilding something new with Riya, knowing they hadn’t had a huge link prior. The connections he asked for were important to his memory, as much as his guilt.
“What would that cost me?”
These connections would certainly be unbalanced with cost. Aria and Fayte were the most expensive, followed by Juch, then Adler and Adel were of similar sizes after. Despite his connections meaning so much to him however, the things that took up the most space had already been reconnected, or had never disconnected to begin with. He wasn’t sure how much they’d cost. A lot? A little? More than Anna?

Yan asked for a lot just then, and Trade knew. His eyes twitched before he even closed them down to activate his ability, and when he did he saw two beings he did not want to see ever again.
It spooked him enough to at-least cause a stirr, but he calmed himself -- steeled himself. It would take more than Yan's power alone to restore things with such meaning.
Convincing those two though? Why these two?
He opened his eyes. "Saturn and Irkalla, those two cannot possibly be here and this universe still be in tact..."

Yan's head tilted as Trade Master checked the prices, as it were, but this was not a normal price check. Whatever he saw spooked him, and he didn't hide it well, most likely because of his surprise. The answer however confused him.
"Uh, what exactly do you need from them?" he asked. Unlike whatever was in Aria, the two menaces were on more record. Ami's transformation thing was on file, a control system for Emi, and Emi...well, he had fun with her quite recently. He did promise her a planet when he got back.
But he knew neither were, or really should, maybe could, be at full power. Even if they were, they couldn't give that much power to one person without them imploding. No matter how old and magical this man was, he would not survive such a thing.

He sighed. "For that level of wish power I wouldn't be the medium in this regard. I couldn't be. But the medium that would be used, the only one that could be will be completely destroyed afterwards."
He sighed again. "They would have to channel their power into this." He took his cane and tapped the table and a pitch black ball, similar to a black star dragon ball, appeared on the table with an assortment of crimson red stars around its circle.
