Trade Master
"It would have been a massive benefit for me, if the ball itself would not completely tap out afterwards. So I do not understand why my ability labels this a price for you to pay -- clearly I am losing out here."
He stroked his chin a bit. "But there is always a reason. There is something I gain from this that is of equality, I just do not know what it is yet."

Yan
Yan listened, misunderstanding for a moment, before understanding came to him. So the power would go into the ether as it was, or maybe even just take a surge that could be recovered by dumb and dumber. He didn’t reach for the ball immediately however, waiting for him to explain the price for it. There would be a price for a ball like that wouldn’t there be? As the only thing that could possibly be used, he imagined it to be a large one, but Trade Master went on to explain he was essentially giving it to him for free, because the universe was telling him to do it without explaining exactly how he would benefit.
That must be terribly inconvenient.
“I hope it doesn’t think I’ll be forever grateful and do you some favors or something,” Yan said touching his own chin in thought. He wasn’t the type for that. Discounts maybe, but nothing for free unless it suited him. They had already exchanged contacts though, and Yan would probably be more interested going forward?
“Or perhaps Saturn and Irkalla coming into their strengths a bit more pans out well for you,” he offered, thinking that the way they were now, they would not have quite enough. They were little power houses, but nothing to their full potential. Adler was a bit concerned about Emi’s. “You don’t think they’ll end up trying for a new world order do you?” he asked, half joking now, half serious because it was totally a legit possibility. “No yucky foods, chores, or bans on explosives!” This would definitely confuse the man.

"That doesn't sound like it pans out well for anyone. Irkalla was never touched, but Saturn was erased for a reason -- or so I thought she were erased. Beings like Distora and Saturn are not meant for this world Irkalla, well that is a presence that won't ever go away.
"And -- it would seem that you have knowledge on this. Maybe -- hrm. I will take that from you then. I will trade the ball for everything you have on those two. From all your sources."
He tilted his head to what Yan had said just a moment ago, but there was no immediate want to question just what he meant.

“Always sneaking in something a bit harder,” Yan said with a grin, not at all serious, even if this did cause a complication. “A good deal of my sources are highly classified Shadowguard documents and experiments,” he said, expecting a thoughtful response to this. It was always a concerning thing hearing the Shadowguard was messing with anything questionably powerful, let alone an existence that was supposed to be completely erased.
“While I am not afraid to be fired, I am very afraid of what Chaos Lord Konstantine might do to me if she finds out I was spreading her business,” he said, his fingers wrapping around his coffee mug, his expression not showing fear at all but amusement. Fear was too strong of a word, but it captured what he needed it to capture. It would be quite unpleasant, inconvenient, and potentially deadly in a way that might counter what happened to him in the Realm of Separation. Just because he wasn’t afraid of it didn’t mean he shouldn’t be.
“But I can say the majority of that is on Irkalla,” he added, which wouldn’t be too surprising considering the Shadowguard’s close relationship with hell these days. “I can probably get quite a good deal of information on Saturn. That’s a more privatized experiment, and the one running it likely has a lot more knowledge on them then Damaskia has on Irkalla, and potentially their link to each other. I don’t believe she is very afraid of anything in the Shadowguard. There is also the advantage of being underestimated that I no longer have with them.”

Trade nodded as Yan explained things. He knew the basic information about Shadowguard that was put into the light, dealing with hell included. It didn't shock him as much, but it was still highly ambitious and a little reckless in his mind.
"Okay, you have my contact. How long would it take to transfer this information to me?"
He placed his hand on the ball and rolled it closer to himself, tapping on it with his finger.

“You’d be okay with just the Saturn info then?” Yan asked, but he was pulling his phone out anyway, opening the message system to Aria and quickly typing away.
He had kept his promise to explore every bit of her new body, and had been forcing her to play Shadowguard with him while he got business in it back on track. Not enough to pull her away from her experiments, but they could prove nice little dates.
Aria didn’t really seem like the secretive scientist type, hiding her research lest someone use her work to steal what should have been her breakthrough. There weren’t a lot of people that could meet her mental processes on the same level, not because she was an android but because of her temperament, but if she found someone, she’d probably be happy to have been saved the time versus gaining a wounded pride. She just wanted to see what would happen after all, but maybe he was wrong.

can you send me all the data you have on ami, saturn, and her connection to emi’s little alter-ego? assuming you dont mind me sharing it to an interested party

"Hm." Trade thought on it. Irkalla wasn't as important to him when it came to information, she was hell. Hell was hell. Saturn was the one that was more of the real target in his mind, and it panned out. He nodded to Yan. "If that is much easier I can downgrade the trade to just Saturn, that is no issue."
In that slight moment, which would be called a moment of weakness, there was a desperation that was very small to capture by an inexperienced dealer in deals. Trade had been great at holding in his cards and close to his chest, but the ease to downgrade was far too easy, and there had been a lie somewhere down the road to this.
Trade knew why Saturn and Irkalla were the ones. Sure, the ball would break and there was probably many ways to emulate the combined power pool of the two, but the fact that those two showed up on his Asset Vision meant that one of them, or both of them were important to him at some point.
Seeing how easily he let Irkalla go and was happy to just take in Saturn's was very telling.
There was not even seconds that went by before Yan got a response and an alert that was asking him did he want to download this data some of it was unsafe.

Ping. Ping. Ping. There ya go darlin'. Who is interested in that little monster?

“Let’s see~” Yan said, not looking up from his phone.

Trade Master, hm. Sounds a little familiar. That ball must be really something.
I don't mind at all. If he is thinking about waking her up, then be my guest! I had already noticed strange activity with the ring she used to be in. Oh this looks like it is going to fun
Distora and the seven, huh. Guess that has something to do with the whole Azara's ring thing. I killed part of Tiquan a few months ago. I have been looking for her other ring. Wonder if its time to collect the seven and see what they were about and why they were erased.
