Yua: Telepathic Link, Combat Rune
Delyth: Combat Rune, Gem of Telepathy
Yua VS Delyth
Delyth eagerly took a step forward. However, her excitement got the better of her, and she assumed a flawed stance without realizing it. Her feet were positioned too close together, lacking stability, and her posture leaned forward slightly, leaving her off balance.
With a determined look on her face, Delyth raised her right arm and clenched her fist tightly. She pulled her arm back, gathering what little strength she had, and then threw a punch towards Yua. Despite her enthusiasm, her technique was far from polished. Her punch lacked proper form and control, resembling a wild swing rather than a focused strike. Her arm extended too far, overextending her shoulder and leaving her vulnerable to counterattacks.

Yua wasn't really one to hold back against those that could contend with her strength. That was something that was integral to her training ways. Her eyes analyzed the form and technique of the punch, stance, execution, and the way Delyth's eyes looked. Where they looked.
Yua stepped in, and this is where her extension of her hand came into play. As the blow hurtled forward, Yua corrected her punch calmly. Not only that, she stepped passed her and bonked the girl on the head with a light, very light, chop.
"I see, you have some grasp, but let me correct a few things after I see more." Telegraphed, no strength, and poor form. But so long as she was passionate, the android was sure they could work this out. She resumed her stance and easy smile.

Delyth's eyes widened in surprise as Yua effortlessly corrected her punch and gently bonked her on the head with a light chop. It wasn't painful, but it served as a gentle reminder of her shortcomings in technique and execution. Delyth blinked, momentarily taken aback by the unexpected correction.
Determined not to let her initial disappointment overshadow her enthusiasm, Delyth's expression shifted to a determined smile. She appreciated Yua's honesty and welcomed the opportunity to improve. With a nod, she readied herself for another attempt, eager to absorb the corrections and make progress, "A-alright, I'll try again."
She readied herself once more, this time aiming a roundhouse kick towards Yua.

"Hmm, kicks are actually stronger from the females of most races I know," thought the android, though it was likely that the girl didn't see the grin on her face. She probably could have dodged, but she also didn't want to extinguish Delyth's enthusiasm.
She moved just a bit before the kick struck her, though this time she blocked it. She then used s vent on her arm and puffed out a little smoke to make it look like a more powerful blow than it was.
Unfortunately for the Damaskian, Yua was hard as...well, metal. A very hard metal. She knew that there was likely some blow back from the hit, so she smiled again.
"Not a bad blow. But you should strengthen your stance. It'll give your body more strength, and most importantly, help with your balance. You can look and watch your feet for now, but remember that one you start training with others, they won't let you." She then pushed lightly and if Delyth looked like she might drop from the branch, Yua was careful to grab her so that she couldn't drop down. "Oh, I did forget to ask, can you fly?"

Delyth's eyes widened with excitement as she saw the puff of smoke, believing it to be a result of the power behind her kick. The encouragement from Yua's smile fueled her enthusiasm, reinforcing her belief that she was making progress.
However, reality quickly set in as Delyth felt the recoil from kicking Yua. The impact sent a jolt of discomfort through her leg - it was like she was kicking a metal pole! Grimacing a bit, she rubbed her shin as she looked up at Yua, "Wow, you're really tough Yua! That smarts!"
"But thanks for the advice," she smiled and stood back up - ONLY TO BE BETRAYED.
The light push wrung out a squeal from Delyth as she flailed about for a moment, but Yua held onto her form so she wouldn't actually fall down, "J-Jeez, Yua! Tell me when you do that next time!"
It was a shaky exhale as Delyth slumped down, "Yeah, I've learned how to, though I'm not very good at it."
Trying to focus, she hovered up on the ground a little, "I can like, maintain this, but sometimes when I go too slow or fast, I kinda lose control."

Betrayal. Well, it wasn't like this wasn't to help out Delyth. She smiled and then stepped in a little closer and looked at her form. Maybe she was a little close for organics, but she was close with reason.
If she got flustered again, Yua would again help her from falling. "Hmm. I wonder if it's your emotions that hold your control back a bit? Your form for it is fine. Or maybe you need better ki control?"
She placed her hand against Delyth's stomach gently. "Breath slower, like if you were looking at the clouds and enjoying the day."

Delyth exhaled, trying to follow Yua's instructions. In and out, in and out. Her breaths slowly calmed down a bit, and her figure steadied somewhat as Yua's palm rested against her midsection as a reliable anchor, "I think that helped, yeah," the girl nodded, "I feel fine like this, with the ground only like inches away. But I always get a bit more nervous when trying to fly up into the air. Maybe I'm scared of heights? I'm not sure."
Rei — Today at 5:22 PM
Yua wondered before she asked Delyth, "Have you ever had a dream where you flew? Above the clouds, and allowing the fresh air to enter your lungs. The gentle breeze as you sail through like a gentle bird as you move about, almost weightless like in water."
She thought this should be good, but she wanted her to think of flying in a different way. Perhaps that might help.
