It was a little disappointing that their bout had to end prematurely due to a deadline of on a homework assignment, but at the least he managed to complete it in the time he had, he would just have to meet with the Paladin to fight again. However, Joseph was curious as to what gave Bersimmon the ominous feeling during that bout. Joseph was also able to feel it, to a degree. Perhaps it was an approaching enemy that wouldn't have surprised him. Joseph had many enemies, more than most people his age, keyword most. He wondered what Yakumo's coterie of villains was like.
Joseph was aboard a ship on his way back to Earth. He managed to pass a few of the hours of training under intensified gravity, practicing punches and kicks, lifting weights, and also sprinting while under the weight of the magnified G force, trying to build up his endurance and push the limits of his speed. Once he was done with the physical training he decided to rest and continue his training inside of the astral realm. He seated himself on the floor with his legs across and eyes closed, clearing his mind to allow for his consciousness to drift and enter into the Astral Realm.
In moments the Demi-Earthling manifested into the realm to the sight of many mountains, vast fields of grass, trees, and a City in the distance. Joseph guessed that this was a representation of a forest that lied outside of West City's borders. He looked around and felt for any energies that may have been sharing the imaginary space with him. He didn't see or feel anyone present. Joseph shrugged. "Flying Nimbus." the boy called out before the cloud flew through the air below the clouds and dropped down and made its way to the boy. He jumped up and landed back first on the cloud, placing his hands behind his head and closing his eyes while he lied there.

"Pretty carefree for someone that just ran from trouble," Joseph would hear from behind his head as Yua stood there, though without very usual emotions. Her gaze was rather neutral as well. It was clear that something had changed with the android, but he'd need to take an active interest to find out what. As cautious as the boy was, either possibly existed. For the time being, the only position Joe held for four was a war potential against Avalon. At least in so far as his raw power.
How did Yua make it here in such a fast time? It honestly wasn't that hard. Part of hey Training in the ruins was to examine her past, and though that included her care for Joseph, she couldn't think of why. If she tried to recall it, the memories associated with that were blurred out, much like her Creator.
The android moved a bit slower than he was likely used to, though her gate was completely confident in where she stepped. She flipped her hair, before she looked out at the landscape abs tilted her head. "West City. That's your hometown?" She looked back at the boy, and then away again. The clear area below was where she had fought Monica, or was it…"Mona." The word left her lips before she realized that she said her thought out loud, but the android dismissed the troubled thought quickly.
Unlike their last meeting, she looked a bit younger, and had short blonde hair. Honestly with the whole demeanor change, it wouldn't be surprising if Joe didn't know who this was, at least first. This appearance was not so dissimilar to when they had been in that cave system with goblins on Toffit. Just younger even than that and a bit shorter hair that lacked a ponytail.

"It's nice to relax after getting away," Joseph said. It was up in the air whatever venture the Android was referring to, running from trouble as well as into things the Demi-Earthling had a propensity to do. He sat up on the cloud and turned to the voice he recognized as Yua. A lot of time had passed since they last met in the astral realm. In all honesty, their meetings in this plain tended to be sporadic apart from the talks and belated tests of control she initiated the times they saw each other after she came back from dealing with that Bassas Invasion.
Joseph dropped down from his nimbus as the Yua walked over with her usual confidence and flipped her hair. Joseph didn't raise a guard, not feeling the need. She didn't say she wanted to fight, and he was confident enough in his speed to believe he could evade any strike that could come without warning. She didn't strike, however, simply gazing at the landscape and asking if this was his hometown. "No, I live in Satan City," Joseph said. He was surprised she didn't know that as much as she followed him and how aware she was of his affairs.
Then she uttered the name of the Water Mage she confronted. Mona, he still missed her. He had listened to Yua and gave the Astrologist her space while she figured out the issues regarding the loss of her magic. She might not have known it, but she inadvertently saved him from running into Blossom when she attacked her on the beach since he had decided not to leave Kelioux to visit her. The might of the Alpha Faye was on par with the Chaos Emperor, who narrowly defeated him. There wasn't cut and dry answer to how that fight would have gone other than it would have been destructive. "I still haven't heard from her." Joseph leaned against his nimbus cloud and looked at the Android. "Hey, you ghosted me after the fight on Odin. What happened to studying on Avalon? Did something come up?" That wasn't like her, not based on what he was use to. She had been keen on providing guidance, so he didn't understand why she would disappear after setting up a time he could learn under her. It was on a three-day weekend, no less. If there were going to be plans for education on days he didn't have school, she could have at least followed through or told him she was canceling that.

Did they have such a time set aside? The android tilted her head before her memory banks pulled the information up. "I think you misunderstood, Joseph." She leaned back against nothing, as she balanced perfectly and clsed her eyes a moment. "The three days was to give you time to restore yourself after your defeat, or for you to explore Avalon after we fought; or you could have used two days to prepare before we did battle. I don't recall telling you that you'd get personal lessons from me. I told you to tell your parents that you were getting education. You got that from our battle, yes?"
She didn't have the same air about her. Something was definitely different about her, and as her memory banks reminded her, he was a rather observant brat. For him, however, it likely wouldn't be that difficult to figure out. Her programming had interfeared with how they had been before, and it had changed how she felt about the boy. A younger brother, and a threat to the galaxy without control over his abilities. Though he ultimately lost... well, Yua drew a blank as to why she decided to give up. It couldn't come to her, much like her Creator's face and the purpose that she had once been imbued with.
She snapped her fingers as she summoned a large blade that she placed behind her, and stabbed into the ground as she tilted her head. "I see, we had a different relationship before. I guess that makes sense... you see, as a Paladin, I had to give something up, some years back. As you know, most androids have a purpose when they are created. It is our most valuable thing, usually the reason for our being. Or life, to use the organic term. I gave that up, and so anything that had to do with my Creator and former purpose have all been ripped from me. I can only surmise that this has stripped me of the way that we interacted before.
But that also means that you graduated from my school of control. You were... my last remnant to my Creator." She then thought about Mona, and what it meant that she hadn't been sighted since the fight that had happened on that beach. She'd heard about it, but in all honesty, she distrusted magic. "I'm sorry that you haven't heard from her." If that was the case, then she had likely been sent to the Next Dimension, and that was troubling news. That meant that Joe might seek revenge, though he hardly seemed the type. He wasn't so pure that he was without the ability, but he didn't have the information, she guessed.
Her gaze fell back on the boy as she wondered what now? It was quite awkward as she no longer felt the same about Joe, but he probably expected more out of her. The issue was that Yua was a machine, with even more of a clamp down on her feelings than a human. What would be their relationship now? She guessed that this was up to Joe to seek something of her. She was far busier than when they had first met. As a General, she had a lot on her plate, so she wondered what he'd want of her.
