Training Battle:Panic at Aerobics!! Roshi vs. Lira [Ginyu]

“Heh heh heh heh, you gotta be better than that Lira,” the old lecherous man shouted as he weaved through her attacks with ease, but only because she was blinded currently. While she attacked his bloody nose was making a mess all over the island, staining the grains of sand red. It was apparent that her attempts to strike him bore a fruit of satisfaction for the old geezer, sky rocketing his agility and stamina. He started doing his aerobics routine faster and more rigorous.

“Don’t forget this is training,” he said more so to himself than her. The old man definitely needed to remind himself that Lira came here to train and learn. Muten Roshi had did a decent job staving off his vices, but for one of his female students to agree to this ridiculous endeavor? He could not pass up the opportunity to have his own fun with this.

“Alright now! Let’s get those steps in!”

The instructor began a left two step and right two step routine, which Roshi began to do as well, looking to Lira. Her reflection was shining through his glasses. It was as if he was tempting her to attack him, leaving himself obviously open and giggling toward her. “Show me what you got!”

Something changed in the air and Roshi sensed it, his eyes sharpening behind his shades, hidden from view. Lira’s power bumped, it was subtle, but noticed and it put Roshi on high alert. Nearby, taking a sunbath in the sand, was his cane which he expertly moved over to with one of his two step movements, disguised as just going along with the exercise routine. He kicked the head of the cane up, blasting sand in all directions, and took hold of it and gave it a simple twirl. This would bat away the invisible, sharp, and dangerous slice of energy which would pass through the gable of his house as if it were softened butter.

It slid off to the side and fell off of the house and Roshi’s demeanor changed.

She has more power than I thought. Maybe I should get serious and put my real training to use, he thought to himself, especially as Lira rocketed toward him in a flare of amethyst light. Again his cane was his ally, holding it forward with both hands to catch most of the momentum that the headbutt had, and yet still it made the old man slide across the sandy grounds.

“Oh, so I see aerobics has gotten boring,” he said and gave a subtle chuckle, which ended with a cough in typical old man fashion. While he was talking though, Lira had never finished her assault, tripping Roshi and making him begin a backwards fall to the ground, only for him to roll backwards into a backflip and land on his feet with his hands behind his back and his cane tumbling to the ground.

The blast of energy that came from her mouth would smack into what looked like a barrier made of sound as he huffed and yelled right back at her, breaking the blast into tiny beads of light which soon faded into nothing between them.

“Well then allow an old man to stop patronizing you,” he said with his eyes sharp once again, still a hidden feature behind his dark tint glasses. In an instant his form bulked out, his muscles straining and increasing -- his tiny old man size transforming into a mountain of a man who looked as if he lifted weights everyday since his youth.

It was always a facade that Roshi took on, a feeble old man. It also helped regulate his energy. Seeing that Lira wasn’t just a normal student put the feeble old man act to rest, and now she faced Muten Roshi, the Master of Earth. “This is what you wanted isn’t it?”

While she was close, he tested her speed and reaction time with two quick jabs, just to get movement started and to create space. His aura then expanded, as if to guard him as he circled his arms in an attempt to gather an immense amount of energy. “Kaaaaa meeeeee.”

He pulled his arms to the side and a vibrant sapphire light exploded from between his palms. The light was akin to a small star, spilling its light rays between his fingertips and humming like a charging ray gun. “Haaaaa meeeeeee.”

The weather around the island seemed to change, the air whipping about in a wild dance that grabbed the trees and water by their hands and swayed them to their rhythm. With his arms jolting forward, the beam unleashed itself, dying the entire area a blue hue as the beam rushed toward Lira with an intent that could only be known as deadly.

"HAAAAAAA!!!"

Ginyu's audacious plan had crumbled before his eyes. Master Roshi, the old martial arts master, appeared unfazed by his surprise attack. The Captain's mind raced as he contemplated his next move. This was no ordinary opponent, and the realisation of facing a legendary martial artist weighed heavily on him.

In a desperate bid to defend himself, Ginyu thrust his arms forward, bracing for the incoming assault. The force of Roshi's colossal hands striking his forearms sent shockwaves through his body. Ginyu staggered back, his concentration wavering. Before he could regain his bearings, a relentless flurry of strikes descended upon him. The strikes came so swiftly that Ginyu couldn't react in time. Each punch felt like a battering ram, and he could do nothing but endure the barrage.

The tremendous force of the assault finally sent Ginyu hurtling backward. He crashed through a nearby house, shattering it to pieces, and emerged on the other side amid a cloud of dust and debris. The once serene landscape was now a chaotic battlefield, with no trace of the turtle hermit in sight.

Ginyu skated across the sand, desperately trying to regain his balance, throwing his hands out and tumbling over. He landed unsteadily on his feet, his chest heaving as he struggled to catch his breath. The relentless pummeling had left him a little bruised, but he couldn't afford to stay down for long.

Amid the chaos and destruction, Ginyu's keen senses picked up the unmistakable sound of Master Roshi charging up his signature attack—the Kamehameha wave. Panic surged through him. He knew that he had only seconds to evade the impending blast.

With a surge of frustration, Ginyu's aura exploded around him. The sudden burst of energy sent more debris into the air, obscuring their vision further. It was a desperate attempt to create chaos and confusion. The Captain knew that staying in one place would make him an easy target for the colossal wave of energy that Roshi was about to unleash.

Without hesitation, Ginyu shot upwards into the sky, spiralling away from the island below. His erratic movements made it difficult for the old martial artist to lock onto a target. Despite the sheer size and power of the impending Kamehameha, Ginyu was determined to outmanoeuvre it.

As he ascended, panting and covered in sweat, Ginyu cast a brief glance downward at the now-distant island. He needed a game-changing strategy to turn the tide in his favour. He couldn't rely solely on sheer force. An unconventional plan began to take shape in his mind—a plan that was far from dignified but might just give him the edge he needed. For now, though, he chose to keep it hidden, focusing on exhausting his physical abilities to their limit.

Wiping a trickle of blood from his lip, Ginyu steeled himself for the next phase of the battle. Plunging back down toward the island like a missile, Ginyu harnessed both gravity and his own power to reach maximum velocity. He aimed to deliver a thunderous crash upon the turtle hermit, guided by his keen senses and unyielding focus. As he descended, the wind howled around him, and the ground below rushed up to meet him.

In an explosion of force, Ginyu hoped to have struck the old master with devastating impact. The shockwaves rippled through the small piece of land, sending vibrations across the surface and even causing a small tsunami to form as the ocean recoiled from the collision.

Yet, Ginyu's assault was far from over. His renewed resolve ignited his purple aura, its intensity matching the fiery determination burning within him. With an explosive scream of frustration, he channelled his energy once more, focusing it into a concentrated beam that erupted from his mouth. The energy surged toward the old martial artist, aiming to engulf him entirely, and then using the beam of energy to disguise himself rushing in after it, pirouetting in mid air, hoping to distract the old perv with a hip thrust attack from his backside.

Despite Ginyu’s best efforts, nothing seemed to be working. Every punch, kick, or energy blast he hurled at the old master was effortlessly avoided, countered, or nullified. It had been a long time since he felt so powerless in the face of such an unassuming adversary. A part of him couldn't help but admire the old man's vigour and combat prowess, but a larger part of him was becoming increasingly frustrated by the chasm of power and ability between the two warriors.

After his last failed attempt, the Captain found himself on the backfoot once again, being forced to shift from offence to defence in the blink of an eye. Master Roshi's speed and agility were just too much for him to handle. He felt the unfortunate impact of the old man’s feet connecting with his stomach, sending him reeling through the air. It was only then that Ginyu seemed to realise the impending disaster – the incoming waves looking to engulf the entire island. His previous attack had been more powerful than he'd thought, sending shockwaves through the ground with enough force to cause a massive tsunami.

Though Ginyu had little time to think about the implications of the impending disaster, he couldn't let his guard down. Master Roshi was relentless. He sped past him with a sudden burst of energy, his fists coming down like a hammer onto his body, forcing him to the ground with incredible force.

The Captain's back hit the sand with a painful thud, the impact reverberating through his entire body. He tasted the gritty earth and felt the stinging grains in his mouth. Struggling to regain his composure, he flipped over onto his back, his senses assaulted by the acrid scent of saltwater and the roar of the incoming tsunami.

In the blink of an eye, Ginyu knew he had to act swiftly to avoid being swallowed up by the raging ocean. With the pain coursing through his body, he summoned every ounce of strength he possessed. His powerful legs propelled him into a squatting position, and then, using all of his might, he launched himself into the air.

The torrents of water surged beneath him, reaching upwards with relentless fury, threatening to consume everything in their path. Ginyu soared through the air, his heart pounding as he desperately cleared the towering wave. The frothy, white-capped crest of the tsunami was just inches below his feet, and for a moment, he felt a cold spray of seawater on his ankles.

Unfortunately for the Captain, his narrow escape had thrust him directly into the path of his adversary, who, rather surprisingly, seemed to be in a rather playful mood. There was a mischievous glint in Master Roshi's eyes, and he looked as though he was about to engage in some inappropriate antics. Ginyu, still in a state of shock from his near-drowning experience, couldn't react in time to avoid the incoming strikes.

As Master Roshi's hands made contact with the Captain's body, Ginyu recoiled slightly from the unexpected touch. But there was no time to contemplate the old master's strange behaviour. In an instant, a swift kick caught Ginyu off guard, sending him hurtling through the air. Before he could regain his bearings, a precision elbow strike struck his upper back, amplifying the momentum and sending him hurtling back towards the unforgiving ground below.

The currents of water beneath him broke his fall just enough to prevent catastrophic injury, although the sting of slapping against the water's surface still sent jolts of pain through his body. In a dazed and disoriented state, Ginyu found himself sinking into the cold embrace of the ocean water. Saltwater filled his mouth as he struggled to resurface, coughing and sputtering.

But the salty taste in his mouth was the least of his worries. Even before Ginyu could regain his composure and assess his situation, a potent wave of energy descended upon him with the force of a hurricane. It collided with the surface of the water, causing it to churn and froth in response. The surface of the water seemed to break the force of the impact slightly before it struck Ginyu's body.

The torrent of energy slammed into him, and Ginyu clenched his fists, teeth gritted in agony as he fought to withstand the destructive force. Every muscle and sinew in his body strained against the relentless stream of power, and the water around him boiled and hissed as the energy crackled through it. The remnants of the colossal wave dispersed around him, leaving a turbulent sea in its wake. Gasping for breath and nursing his wounds, the Captain realised that the battle was unlikely to be won by sheer force alone. Master Roshi's playful demeanour had concealed a formidable power, and Ginyu knew that it would take a miracle to overcome such a seasoned veteran.

The Captain took a moment to assess the state of his uniform, a token of pride despite its revealing nature. It had certainly seen better days, bearing the brunt of the battle with several small holes and tears marring its fabric. Despite the wear and tear, Ginyu couldn't help but admire the durability of his outfit. It had held up remarkably well considering the relentless onslaught he'd faced.

As he floated up to meet the old martial arts master, the water droplets cascading down his well-defined physique, Ginyu couldn't deny the discomfort of his drenched state. His wet hair clung to his shoulders, and goosebumps dotted his skin as the cold air brushed against his soaked body.

"You're strong," the Captain complimented Master Roshi between laboured breaths, his words carrying a hint of respect. "I'm pretty sure I can't beat you," he admitted reluctantly, a touch of resentment in his tone. The reality of his current situation had sunk in; he was facing a formidable opponent.

With a sly grin, Ginyu continued, his voice taking on a seductive undertone, "So how about this… you let me take this one as a win, and I'll let you watch me get changed out of these wet clothes." He punctuated his proposal with a playful wink, fully aware that no matter how dishonourable the tactic might be, playing to the old man's lecherous side might be the only way to come out on top.

For a fleeting moment, the Captain, brimming with anticipation, believed that his cunning tactic had indeed borne fruit. He keenly observed the old master's initial reaction to his audacious proposition. However, the ever-resilient Turtle Hermit proved that things wouldn't unravel quite so effortlessly. Despite harbouring sinister intentions, it was evident that the turtle hermit held his role as a teacher in utmost reverence. With sheer determination, he vehemently spurned Ginyu's offer, opting instead to launch yet another assault.

Ginyu found himself with no alternative but to revert to a defensive posture as the aged sage advanced, his fists tightly clenched. A subtle warmth seemed to emanate from his hands, a telltale sign of energy gathering within. The Captain, despite his experience, couldn't react swiftly enough to parry the initial onslaught. He discerned, however, that the blows weren't delivered with the full might Roshi could have summoned, especially with Ginyu's defences left conspicuously porous.

A deep breath drawn as Roshi concluded the barrage, Ginyu detected the trickle of blood at the corner of his lips. He wiped it away with his forearm, realising that if the old sage refused to yield, he had no option but to unleash the full extent of his power. Though his body bore the marks of relentless pummeling, his spirit remained resolute. He yearned, more than anything, to gain the upper hand but recognized that such an aspiration might be an overreach in his current battered state.

However, from the crucible of defeat emerged an opportunity. Ginyu had gleaned a valuable lesson - he was ill-prepared for future encounters, lacking the prowess required to confront the universe's finest.

Summoning every ounce of strength within him, Ginyu surged toward his master. In the blink of an eye, he vanished, only to reappear directly before Roshi. With a whirlwind kick aimed at the elder's visage, Ginyu harnessed the momentum to execute a swift elbow strike to Roshi's temple.

But Ginyu's onslaught didn't end there. He clenched his fist and thrust it fiercely into the old man's abdomen, allowing his hand to unfurl upon impact. A surge of energy erupted from his diminutive palm at point-blank range. Simultaneously, his other hand targeted Roshi's face, releasing a second wave of energy. In a moment tinged with anger and frustration, Ginyu opened his mouth wide, unleashing a potent, ear-splitting scream. From between his lips surged a third, furious stream of energy.
