"Hoh?" Juch looked back at Riki. She was an interesting girl, and she had some peculiar insights on the matter.
"So, you lucked out then, so to speak? Went to sleep and woke up here instead of the usual? Or were you doing something else when it happened?"

"Good luck or bad luck?" she asked with furrowed brows. She could end trapped here forever! Stuck in a mental trash can! Juch didn't seem too worried though.
"I think I missed a snooze dream," she said though, drawing back her earlier memories. She had pressed snooze on the alarm clock which often resulted in a dozing episode that made her dream of waking up and starting her day. If she missed that, that was good luck, but...
"Does time go at the same pace here?" It was possible she was missing her alarm again.

"Hindsight is twenty twenty," despite Riki's expression, the android remained still casual as he talked, "You can look back on this and decide whether or not it was fortuitous or not."
"The perception of time is warped here, that's a good question," Juch continued, as a flock of speakers with circuits for wings flown above their heads, "Sometimes a short chat here would last the same amount of time it took to traverse an entire planet in a different astral realm session. But, if you have obligations in the morning, I can see if I can help you wake up faster."

“That sounds horrible,” she said with a look of concern. “Who would want time to pass by that quickly? It’s bad enough losing it in traffic.”
Juch — Today at 8:11 PM
"But, there is a feedback loop to consider," Juch said with a smile, "Because the astral realm is still influenced by the wills of those who connect with it, if you had an inclination for time to move slower here, it's entirely possible the realm would accommodate that."
"Of course, you wouldn't know exactly how much time passed until you disconnected, but it's a comforting thought regardless, y'know?"
"You have a long commute to work every day then, if you don't mind me asking?"

“What a waste,” she said with a small pout. She moved on to his question and shook her head. “I walk everywhere! And I’m a very fast walker. My friends aren’t though, and say being carried is demeaning so they want to go places in cars, only theres always too many of them!”

"Your method does sound more practical," Juch raised a brow, "not to mention healthier. Shall I take this to assume that this walking speed is nowhere near your max then?"
That would be interesting to see. The girl was stronger than he had expected, so there may be some more surprises that she could manifest. Traffic is slow anyways at rush hour, but being able to walk all the way to and fro from work was certainly an anomaly in modern times, despite the surge in galactical ki levels.

“Depends on how late I am!” she announced proudly, like being late was an accomplishment. For her, it was usually do to problems happening around her. A typical earthling problem really. You were allowed to be late when West City was blown up for the upteenth time. Even if it was by you. She didn’t normally over sleep or anything like that, which was probably why she wasn’t very worried now.
