The Forgotten Saiyan 710 / 710 Over the preceding days on Planet Valhalla, Tarble had been confined to the castle, recovering from the thrashing he received during a sparring session with Middy, as well as participating in various missions alongside him. Now that they had gone their separate ways, Tarble was eager to explore the planet on his own. His first order of business was to head to the castle's market area and browse the wares in the side shops. He aimed to equip himself for any potential battles that might lie ahead. “I think it is time for me to figure out what I can learn on Valhalla. There has to be some special items that can help me on my journey. I think I will go to the market and see if there is anything I can buy to place in my ship”
Stepping out of his room, Tarble exited the castle and inhaled deeply, savoring the scent of the fresh air. The bustling crowd of people going about their daily routines surrounded him. Realizing that the market would be closing soon, Tarble made a conscious decision to turn left and make his way through the streets within the castle walls, heading in the direction of the market. "The number of people here is impressive. These citizens are notably more powerful than the humans on Earth. It makes me wonder if there should be some kind of arrangement for a life-form exchange. Earth could certainly benefit from having skilled fighters to address the numerous challenges they face on that planet"
As Tarble hit the market he started walking around looking at the tables on the outside. None of the items caught his attention. He bought a senzu bad, a potion, energize, two sensu pouches and some food that he can store to eat later. “Well no actually gear that would be better than what I have. A local did tell me about some saiyan armor, so I will have to look into that”
As Tarble approached the conclusion of the market, his gaze fell upon a solitary table. Behind it stood an elderly gentleman, attired in weathered and tattered garments. “Young man… Young man come here” he spoke with a raspy voice. Tarble turned his head to inspect the old man, recognizing the hardships etched on his face. Intrigued, he approached to see what had prompted the elderly man to call him over. “I have something for you. Look at this gem. It can send you to another dimension to battle another life forms that has the same gem” spoke the old man. “A gem that can send you to another dimension. I think this old man has gone crazy”“Does it really work or are you trying to sell me dud” asked Tarble as he picked the gem up. “It does (cough, cough). You just take it somewhere you want to stay for a while. Sit Indian style while holding the gem in your hand. Then you just let your mind go and you will be in a different dimension” spoke the old man as he smiled with missing teeth. Skeptical of the old man's claim, Tarble chose to purchase it from him for four hundred zeni. The elderly vendor assured Tarble that he wouldn't be disappointed and offered to sell more at the same price if needed. Tarble smiled and continued with the rest of his day as usual. As the day drew to a close, Tarble decided it was time to return to his room. Upon entering his chamber, he tossed the bag of supplies he had purchased onto the bed, and as he did, a gem rolled out of the bag. Tarble chuckled, still maintaining his skepticism about the old man's claims and the existence of another dimension. He picked up the gem, settled down in an Indian-style seated position, and began to clear his mind. In a mere moment, Tarble found himself in a different dimension. He looked around, noticing the vast, open space with a transparent floor. Curious, he tested the solidity of the floor by kicking his foot up and down. It proved to be stable. The sky above had a deep, dark blue hue. “It did work, but now how do I get out of here” Actions1. N/A

The air on Planet Namek was thick with a serene energy, and the lush landscape stretched as far as the eye could see. Gier, an alien with a muscular build and a long, flowing blonde ponytail, descended from the sky onto the vibrant green surface. His eyes gleamed with determination as he sought to hone his martial arts skills on this legendary planet.
As Gier explored the terrain, he heard whispers of an ancient gem hidden deep within the Namekian caves, a gem said to hold the key to unlocking the mysteries of the astral plane. Intrigued, Gier embarked on a journey through the lush valleys and towering mountains, guided by the stories of the wise Namekians.
After days of searching, Gier finally stood before a cave entrance, the air tingling with an otherworldly energy. As he ventured deeper, he discovered the ancient gem, pulsating with an ethereal glow. Without hesitation, Gier touched the gem, and in an instant, his surroundings melted away.
He found himself in the astral plane, a realm of swirling colors and cosmic energies.
Gier's body floated through the expanse, both body and mind were one in such a manner, yet the sensations he felt were real despite the temporal nature of his experience. It was surreal for him, and he had heard stories of such things but believed them to have been nothing more than tall tales passed down from generation to generation whose truths had been muddled with mysticism. Instead he found the truth, the cosmos themselves were at his grasp now, every bleeding star and gaping black hole was within his sight, every bustling planet and still moon, they were laid bare before him.
It made the martial artist question what the origin of such a gem was, how did it come to be? Who were the first to utilize it? The architechs of such a dimension were said to be among the Gods, yet there were also rumblings of an ancient species whose audacious ambitions provoked the Gods themselves, and they were a long extinct species known as The Lost. Even Gier's own father, a man whose mind was rooted in reality, spoke on The Lost and their influence on the galaxy as it is known. At the time, such truths were beyond Gier's juvenile understanding, yet with the galaxy laid bare before him, it all made sense.
It was during his flight through the cosmos that he stumbled upon the figure of a shorter man with spiky ravenous hair and a monkey's tail. It seemed he too was curious on the nature of the dimension, and Gier's body floated down before him weightless in form and touched down upon the transparent floor.
Gier adjusted his red trucker hat, a habit of his to signal to the man before him that he meant no harm to him, revealing his aqua blue eyes which shimmered in obscurity, and the hospitable smile flashed his pearly white teeth.
"Trippy huh?" Gier could see the color of shock on the man's face, a look which he too shared. It was hard to not marvel in amazement on the astral plane, a dimension long forgotten in time to humanity, mortals, and the like.
"I was just on planet Namek, and found a cave filled with shiny emerald gems. There was a power in there that gave me goosebumps, so I checked it out and well, here I am. You don't think they'd have a bar around here by chance do ya'? Heh, I'd imagine not." Gier spoke in a friendly manner, and he was interested to hear what the man's experience in traversing the dimension was so far. He didn't appear to have been an astral being, more so like a passer-byer much like himself.
Gier adjusted his maroon vest and stood with his hands on his hips. "So, what's your story? How did you end up here? And I imagine you wouldn't know the way out, much like me."

The Forgotten Saiyan 347 / 1,057 Attempting to discern his purpose in this unfamiliar realm, Tarble observed a person approaching him. The individual sported lengthy hair and a red hat, with imposingly muscular arms that indicated a clear physical superiority over Tarble. Before Tarble could get a word out the individual said, “Trippy huh”? The man began elucidating that he was on planet Namek, which is the next planet Tarble will be attending after he has finished his work on planet Valhalla. Tarble soon discovered that there were radiant emerald gems located in a cave, and this was the possible reason why the new arrival had ventured to this location. Then the individual asked a question “What’s your story? How did you end up here”? It was an uncommon occurrence for a newcomer to inquire about Tarble's story. Most others he had encountered immediately engaged in battle. Pausing briefly to consider his response, Tarble opted to provide a brief explanation. "Hello, I'm Tarble. I was walking through the marketplace on the planet Valhalla when an old man was trying to sell me unique gem. I purchased it, and upon returning to my room to use it, I found myself here. Now, I'm trying to unravel where I am and how to leave. It seems we're both in the same predicament," Tarble explained while surveying the surroundings. Tarble chose to provide a brief account of his recent experience, opting not to delve into the journey of his past, as he presumed the other individual might not be particularly interested. Alone in an wide open room, Tarble began contemplating the true nature of this place. “There is nothing in the area but open space. It seems like it goes on forever and in every direction. The floor doesn’t seem like it can be destroyed. I am wondering if this is some sort of training ground for people to train with one another”“Do you think this is a training ground and once a victory has been named it will send us back to where we were at” asked Tarble as he looked at the individual. "Valhalla huh? That's interesting. I heard stories about the place. Some nasty training gets done there, Saiyans sure are tough to be able to handle it," Gier remarked as he cupped his chin in thought. He had indirectly complimented Tarble as well, but that was also because he could sense there was something special about him, even amongst the galaxy renowned Saiyan race, his presence was teeming with vigor. Would it be the product of the astral realm itself, or did the essence of one's being translate into being carried over onto the realm as well? It was quite the conundrum and one that was perhaps better left to the Scholars to dictate, not for him to question.
Tarble spoke and asked Gier if he believed that the purpose of the realm was once to serve as a training ground in a forgotten time period long ago, and after the victor has been decided then the two combatants would have their consciousness sent back to their respective realms.
It was an interesting working theory, but he couldn't be quite sure of such a line of thinking.
"I can't say that I know for sure, but what I can say is that if such a place has always existed, then training could just be one aspect of it. Communicating with someone could also be just as informative, and it does seem convenient. This dimension feels alive, just as much as the material world does. Meaning much like a dream, when our time here is done, all we have to do is wake up, and we'll be right back where we started." That was the best explanation that Gier could give Tarble. He gave him a shrug afterward, but the prospect of a fight did begin to elicit a smile of excitement from him.
"However, if you do wish to spar, then I would be happy to oblige," Gier slid into his combat stance by widening his base and dancing on the balls of his feet. His guard was simple but effective in his boxer's stance, and his movement was minimalistic, yet he exuded energy all the same.
"The name's Terry by the way, but some also call me Gier, both are names I've earned. I hope you're ready Tarble."
Then he burst forth with speed, approaching swiftly as if his feet glided across the transparent floor, his feet both shuffled and floated towards Tarble with his hands at the ready, and he attempted a steady right handed jab first to Tarble's chest, snapping back for left handed straight to the bridge of his nose, holding the follow through he moved forward and ducked, twisting his body for a slip uppercut to Tarble's sternum with his right hand, the attack more powerful than the combination that he had thrown before.

The Forgotten Saiyan 364 / 1,421 During his time on Valhalla, Tarble has come to recognize the challenges inherent in this realm. In just one week, he has encountered several demanding situations. The person began elucidating his perception of this dimension. With only a vague understanding of how to navigate and exit this unfamiliar realm, he found it intriguing. He described the place as vibrant, suggesting that upon completing our time there, we return to our original locations. Subsequently, he agreed to a sparring match, igniting Tarble's excitement. “The name is Terry or Greir” as Tarble’s new ally provided him with a name. “Interesting his name his Grier, seems like a nice individual”
Before Tarble could react, he glimpsed Grier's body in motion, displaying remarkable agility. Sensing a right-hand strike approaching his chest, Tarble moved to block, only to find Terry retracting the punch effortlessly. Already committed to the motion, Tarble's eyes widened as he unwittingly left himself open to an attack. All he could perceive was a fist hurtling toward his face. Without a chance to adjust, Grier's fist collided with Tarble's nose, sending a sharp stinging sensation throughout the dimension. “Ouch… why did he have to go for my nose. I need to start paying more attention to those fake punches and remember to block the second one”Tarble threw both of his hands on his nose as tears dropped from his eyes as the impact registered the pain. He was then propelled backward by an uppercut, landing a few feet away from the original position of the two fighters. “Time to get up and get this fight started. I think I have an idea on what I want to do for my first attack”Tarble rolled his body on his back as he threw his legs up to jump in the air and land on his feet. Now he was ready for a spar. The lost prince was excited that he was facing a formidable foe. Using his speed he dashed towards Grier jumping in the air and thrusting his body to spin kick Grier in the face. While in air, Tarble put both his hands out and shot four ki balls towards the direction of Grier. Actions1. Razor Swipe 2. Beam Ball (4)

Gier's fists hit true, but Tarble was no slouch himself. He took his blows like a champ, and his composure wasn't shaken. Gier straightened his stance, his posture was a tad bit more relaxed now, as he hadn't bounced on the balls of his feet, instead opting to stay low. His arms were at the ready with balled fists primed for offense and defense should the time come as well.
Tarble dashed towards Gier swiftly, his speed on full display and he was difficult for Gier to track with the naked eye alone. He hopped into the air, springing up effortlessly due to the power of his legs, and he seemed to hover and suspend himself as if he was weightless. His body twisted and contorted as he performed a sharp spin kick that sliced through the air, his leg pierced through the air and it careened towards Gier's face where it struck him. The blow was powerful indeed as it knocked him backwards, causing his hat to sail back along with him - further still than he had.
However, Gier managed to flip backwards and land softly onto his feet, just in time to witness four balls of Ki sail towards him whistling upon their advance. He crossed his arms over his chest to guard his vitals and he moved forward, allowing the bolts of energy to land home. With a grunt he took the brunt of the attacks and allowed his forearms to be peppered with the attacks, his arms singed when he did so and he winced in pain yet continued onward with a determined front. He hopped into the air to meet Tarble there with a fist surging with a shroud of cobalt blue, his Ki coated it and he surged forth to attempt a hard strike towards Tarble's stomach.
His left fist did much of the same, and Gier's breath was steady with this strike. His hand had been raised and his fist hammered downward upon the top of the Saiyan's skull to attempt to send him sailing back down upon the ground once more.

The Forgotten Saiyan 266 / 1,687 Tarble delivered a rapid kick to his adversary, maintaining his airborne stance as he unleashed ki balls. Hovering in midair, he glimpsed Grier swiftly approaching for a counterattack. Determined to land a powerful blow on the wayward prince, Grier closed the distance through the air. A charged fist, brimming with ki energy, was hurled at Tarble's abdomen. The surge of ki energy enveloped the lost prince, inflicting intense pain in his stomach before he could even make contact with the ground. “I have to react. I can not keep taking a beating like this or I will lose this battle”As Tarble observed his adversary descending with a hammerhead fist aimed at his head, he swiftly adjusted his stance by sliding his feet apart, anchoring himself to the ground. With a defensive reflex, he raised both arms in a cross formation, intercepting the incoming fist between his forearms to block the attack. The force emanating from Grier's strike exerted pressure on Tarble, driving him downward toward the ground. “I need to get out of this before he folds my body to the ground”Tarble used all the strength he had to push his opponent up off him. “Let me try out one of my new techniques that I have been waiting to use on someone”Tarble unleashed his power, hurtling towards his adversary with the intent to employ one of his recently acquired techniques. Approaching Grier, Tarble retracted his elbow into position, preparing for the forthcoming strike. In close proximity to Grier, Tarble thrust his palm directly toward Grier's chest, aiming to disrupt his chakra flow. Actions1. Block - hammer fist 2. Focus Palm Strike

Tarble blocked Gier's strike deftly with his forearms, shielding himself from the blow by crossing his arms upwards to meet his hammerblow at its apex. His strike had been impeded and Gier was unable to power through Tarble's defense, as it was as steady and sturdy as a rooted tree of Oak. Impressed by this resolve and his skillful display of defense, the blonde could only smile at him, even as he was pushed backwards.
Quickly he attempted to recover back into the stance once he was upon the ground, but Tarble sought to strike before he could do so. His elbow retracted and Gier tried to get out of dodge, his instincts pushed him to move, but he was a step too slow - his outside pivot was a turtle's speed in comparison to Tarble's feline like quickness. His palm thrust towards Gier's chest and it landed home, causing the wind to be knocked breathlessly out of him in a soundless gasp.
He staggered backwards and clutched his chest, he felt the after effects of the strike that had been delivered upon him. His breath was hard to catch, which in turn disrupted the flow of energy within him, which was fundamental to his combat style and techniques.
At least this was true for one of his styles.
Gier's muscles bulged forth and he called upon the power of the inferno - it manifested around him swirling about in a tempest of flame that curled around his body, causing his blonde ponytail to upend itself and stand upward in disarray.
This fighting style was different, it was far more aggressive and it had been passed down from his grandfather, to his father, and now onto Gier himself. Caution was thrown to the wind and he focused on fanning the flames of his soul and manifesting it outward to strike, turning his body into a weapon itself and to never allow his opponent to catch their wind or their breath - as the flames and the smoke would snuff out any and all resistance. It was a risky style as well that had its drawbacks, and Gier wasn't quite fond of such a style as it did not fit his more cavalier nature. Still, the movements were stamped within not only his DNA but his pattern of movement - habits were hard to shake and even harder to break.
Regardless to his recollection he couldn't remember the last time that he sought to use this style to gain an edge on an opponent. His will to win trumped his desire to learn in this bout, as he sensed that Tarble had the capacity to overwhelm him if Gier chose to remain on the defensive. Sometimes the best defense was an even better offense.
"You've forced me to go all out now." Gier remarked as a smirk crept up his lips. He charged towards Tarble and attempted a combination strike towards his abdomen, and when he did do, the flames licked at his body and armor. More fire spewed forth from Gier's body, a maelstorm of flickering flame that attempted to engulf the Saiyan within it that was shot forth from Gier's body.

The Forgotten Saiyan 217 / 1,904 Tarble executed a precise palm strike, targeting Grier's chest. In the aftermath, Tarble discerned a shift in Grier's demeanor. There was newfound determination and focus in Grier's gaze as he locked eyes with the lost prince. Descending back to the ground, Tarble maintained a vigilant focus on his opponent, awaiting Grier's next move. “You’ve forced me to go all out now” spoke Grier as he ready his assault on the lost prince. Tarble narrowed his eyes in curiosity upon hearing his opponent's words. Observing intently, he tracked his opponent's charging movements, paying close attention to Grier's feet. To his amazement, Grier became enveloped in flames during the approach. “What the hell is this. I have never seen an attack like this before and Master Roshi nor Master Kami ever talked about someone engulfing their bodies in flames”
Tarble successfully blocked the initial rapid punch, but the force of the second one proved too much, causing pieces of his Saiyan armor to scatter to the side. Struggling to withstand Grier's first fist while still feeling the pain from the second one, the two engaged in a power struggle to determine the stronger combatant. The notion of flames emanating from his opponent had never crossed Tarble's mind. “How do I… wait… is he about to engulf me in flames. There is nothing I can do. We are close in combat and there is not enough reaction time for me to make a move…” Actions1. Block - hammer fist 2. Focus Palm Strike
